An edit of "A Change of Seasons" by Dream Theater begins to play over the P/A system, and the crowd begins to boo at the top of their lungs. Lights dim in the arena, and the spotlight hits the curtain. As the various chords of John Petrucci's guitar play, Dustin Delta steps through the black curtain, emerging on the stage of the GHW Arena. Lights on the arena stage set-up turn red and black, and the minitron reads 'ERADICATE' in large silver text. The camera follows Dustin as he begins down the ramp, and the blood-red 'X' over his right eye is caught in the field of view. Dustin slowly continues his walk, paying no mind to the booing, rage-fueled capacity crowd.
I'm sick of all You hypocrites Holding me at bay And I don't need Your sympathy To get me through the day
Seasons change and so can I Hold on Boy No time to cry Untie these strings I'm climbing down I won't let them push me away
Oh come let us adore him Abuse and then ignore him No matter what Don't let him be Let's feed upon His misery Now it's time for them To deal with me
DING DING DING!"The following bout is scheduled for one fall, and is a strap match. Introducing first, from Everglades, Florida, weighing in at 194 pounds, he is the Aerodynamic Blitz, DUSTIN....DELLLLTTAAA!" "This match was made by General Manager Smarky Smark after Ryan Hughes was blatantly attacked in the backstage area by the man you see on camera right now, Dustin Delta. Ryan wanted to speak with Dustin regarding his controversial actions as of late, but Delta wanted nothing to do with Hughes."The Floridian Falcon reaches ringside, and stops abruptly. He looks up to the ceiling and extends his arms to the side as white laser lights extend from the bottom of ramp, going in all directions. They shift several times as the Human Fighter Jet walks up the steel steps. He steps through the ring ropes, and stands in the center of the ring, glaring beyond the audience into the unknown, most likely deep in thought of the ways he would torture Ryan Hughes in just moments.

Delta jumps on the spot, wanting to shake the cobwebs from the system. The camera pans around the sold out bleachers, with many a fan trying their hardest to grab the cameraman’s attention and have the rare honor to lift their novelty signs towards the screen for the folks back home. As soon as the commentators are ready, the production team in the back switches the feed, so it portrays the two commentators, smiling at the camera. Fuzz- "As one end of the strap is attached to Dustin, do you think he realises what sort of a mess he's got himself in to?” Big Al- "It looks bad, I'll admit. Hughes is a two time GHW New Age Champion, one of the longest reigning GHW World Champions, not to mention the winner of the NeXuS Deathmatch back in May. But this is Dustin's time to show that he should be considered a major player here in GHW.” "But brutally attacking an unprepared Hughes isn't the way to go about it, surely?" The ongoing argument is halted abruptly by the beginning of ”Seven Days” by Corrosion of Conformity which plays through the PA system, signalling the long awaited arrival of the Chief Batmanite. The fans begin to cheer the Mancunian, seeing as they want Dustin Delta's ass kicked. Ryan pushes the last of the curtain cloth which clings to his shoulders, and stares straight ahead, wanting to get the fighting over and done with for another night. Hughes slowly walks to the ring decked out in sky blue pants and his “Vintage Batmanite” t-shirt, ignoring all signs of life and looking straight ahead. Over time mistakes were few but I believe they're mine Faded mind youth was old and the years were so unkind I'm the one I face the change I know that stands before me Believe in me … CAUSE I DAMN SURE DON'T BELIEVE IN YOU! Stopping a quarter of the way down the ramp, Ryan slowly adjusts both his hands in to the shape of guns, before spinning around, “blasting” the stage and causing sky blue fireworks to burst out in to the air at every “gunshot”, in a ironic tip of the hat to his hometown of Manchester. In the ring, Charlie Coors adjusts himself, before clearing his throat and wiping the sweat from his brow. Lifting the mic up, Coor's announces Hughes' arrival. Charlie Coors- "Introducing the opponent, from Manchester, England, standing at 6'5 and weighing in at 241lbs, he is the 2010 NeXuS Deathmatch winner and number one contender to the GHW New Age Championship.... Ryan Hughes!"“Hughes hasn't taken his eyes off his EVO Rookie- this is really personal.” “Just how Dustin wants it. A man running on anger cannot focus; it's a known fact.”I cannot deny myself my anger and pride I cannot deny another lie Waiting to find another spike right through my hand Hope I'm killed before I die He continues his slow walk to the ring with his band of merry men, going over his pre-planned match strategy over and over again in his head. He doesn't bat the hands of fans away, he simply embraces the fact that the fans are on the side of the GHW Veteran. Simply staring forward, he makes his way up the steel steps; the sound of clunking metal rings around the surrounding area as he ascends to the squared circle. He climbs the turnbuckle, looking up to the heavens. Stepping down from the turnbuckle, he walks over to the referee, listening to the man drone on about the rules of the contest. After the the man in the zebra stripes finishes, Hughes rolls his eyes, before allowing the official to attach the other end of the strap to the wrist of the Mancunian. Still, he keeps his eyes locked on Delta, formulating several forms of tortue he can apply, in his head. TBC Dustin

The bell rings, and the two superstars, now bound together by leather, begin to circle around the ring. This issue has become extremely personal, and now they have as much time as they want to take each other out. They could go behind the allotted time for Live! if they felt like it--the rest of the night was theirs. Ryan goes for a tie-up, but Dustin quickly steps back, but realizes the error of his way almost immediately--he had backed himself into a corner. As Hughes approaches, the Flordian improvises, rolling over the top rope, onto the apron. The Original Batmanite reaches for his minuscule opposition, but the Everglades native jumps up just enough to swing both feet between the middle and top rope, kicking Hughes in the stomach. As the Mancunian Mastodon was doubled over, the Human Fighter Jet rolled over the top rope, back into the ring as he brought The Manchester Martyr down with a sunset flip pin.
"1!"
Hughes quickly kicked out, tossing Delta a good foot away. The Valiant Virtuoso landed on his torso as Ryan grabbed the second rope, pulling himself back onto his feet with ease. Delta tries to roll to get back to a vertical base, but the strap restrains him, and Hughes steps towards his downed foe, punching him in the head. Dustin leans back while on his knees, and Ryan Hughes presses a knee into the chest of Delta, knocking him back down. The Mancunian Mastodon stomps on the joints of the EVO Rookie, weakening Dustin slowly. The Epic Englishmen pulls Delta up by his right arm, and Irish Whips him to the closest (north) set of ropes, going for a short-arm clothesline as soon as he comes off the rebound. But the Aerodynamic Blitz counters, swinging on Hughes arm, up and landing both feet on the shoulders of Ryan Hughes. Dustin smirks evilly, and jumps up, back flipping. He comes down with his knees bent in front of him and as comes in front of the Mancunian Mastodon, he performs a Monkey-Wrench Flip, dropping Hughes on his back in a style very resonant of Rob Van Damn.
"A back-and-forth match up thus far between these two men. Neither giving in."
"Riveting action here tonight in GHW." Dustin Delta stands over his 'Pro', a dark and devilish smile in his expression. He grabs the leather strap and wraps it under the neck and up the right side of the neck of Ryan Hughes. He somersaults forward, finishing the complete wrap around and creating a small mobius in the strap. Delta has limited space, but still manages to lock in a cross-face on Hughes, now causing pain in his arm, choking him about, and he has a lock on the Epic Englishmen's face. Ryan screams the last of the air out of his lungs, but manages to take little breaths through his nose. Hughes musters up enough strength to roll over and get himself back on his feet, Dustin now only hanging onto the arm and head of Ryan. The Human Fighter Jet is frantic now, and Hughes takes several steps forward before jumping and leaning back, dropping Dustin on his back and lower neck. The crowd isn't sure how to react now, as they hate Hughes, but they hate Dustin as well. Ryan unwraps the strap from his neck, freeing himself from the make-shift noose. He takes a few deep breaths, and then soccer ball kicks Delta in the side. Dustin writhes on the canvas for a moment, but doesn't for long, as Ryan grabs Dustin in a headlock and pulls him to his feet. Delta stands on his own, groggy, but only for a moment, as the Chief Batmanite quickly wraps his arms around Dustin's torso, and hits a belly to belly suplex, right into a pin. "1!
2!""Not only did Dustin Delta kick out, but he kipped right back up, and now both men are on there feet and are ready to continue this bout.""Why bother continuing the match? Ryan is just gonna walk away victorious anyway."Both men standing only feet away from each other, eyes not saccading away as the battle rages on between these two high-class competitors.

The Mancunian Mastodon stares a hole in to his former rookie, before giving a nod of appreciation, realising how much Dustin has learnt from his master, despite what he has done to him. Dustin stares right back, giving out a cocky grin as the fans applaud the show these men are putting on. Slowly, both men close in on eachother, gathering the slack in the strap to avoid any mishaps. Ryan takes the clever route of secretly wrapping the strap around his fist, maintaining eye contact with the Human Fighter Jet. As Dustin shouts something inaudible at Hughes, the older fighter simply smiles, before cocking back his left, strapped-up fist, and slams it in the the forehead of the sly Floridian. Dustin doesn't waste time in comically staggering, but simply falls like a Redwood, flopping on to the canvas. Hughes raises the reinforced fist, before slowly crashing it in the the supine Delta. The impact causes Dustin's legs to come off the mat momentarily, before falling in to place once more. Pleased with himself, Ryan pins the former TV Champion, only to receive a two count.
“Hughes showing that veteran instinct of his. Could that be the x-factor in this match?”
“Quite possibly, he has a ton of qualities. He wasn't made an EVO Pro for his looks, you know!”
Delta rolls on to his back using the momentum from kicking out, and once again, Hughes acknowledges his ring awareness- he did learn from the best, after all. Ryan knows that Delta is no pushover, hence the reason he handpicked him for the EVO competition. He looks up for a moment, before speaking. “Kick him.” Those two words drive Hughes on, and he gets to his feet, retreating to a corner. Delta slowly pushes himself up using the palms of his hands, oblivious to what is about to come. He turns around as Ryan begins his charge, but the agility comes in to play as Delta dives between Hughes' legs, taking the strap with him. DD returns to a vertical base, and gives the strap a yank. The reaction causes Ryan to violently pummel his own testicles, and the Mancunian somersaults on the spot, clutching his man candy.
A smile reaches the youthful face of the ex-TV Champion, and he realises that the match is in his hands now. Not wasting any time, Delta mounts the supine opponent, raining fist after fist on Hughes' head, not giving Ryan a chance to lift his arms and protect his face. The referee finally manages to coerce the Chieftain of Eradication in to relenting, and Delta quickly covers the multi-time world champion. Ryan powers out of the pin at a count of two, as a trickle of blood descends from above his right eye. Dustin clambers to his feet, but quickly returns on the offensive, reacting to the blood almost like a shark. Once again, he goes for an angry pinfall, but Hughes foils him again.
“Dustin is quick on the offensive following the little 'organ malfunction' Hughes suffered from moments ago.”
“That is enough to take any man down a peg. I think we both know that. Have some sympathy, damnit.”
TBC
May look short, but hey. It's the same as Delta's in character terms and I've been bogged down.

Disheartened by Ryan managing to free himself from pinfall twice in a row, Dustin sits back for a moment--taking a breather, so to speak. Ryan, now prone on the canvas, hold his eye for a moment, trying to comfort his injury. Delta keeps his focus on the veteran as he returns to his feet. The Aerodynamic Blitz is on his feet now, waiting for the precise moment to strike. Ryan stands now, facing the corner as he takes deep breathes. He turns around to face Delta, who, much to the surprise of Hughes, comes running with a shoulder block to the midsection, pushing the air out of the Mancunian's lungs. Ryan holds his gut in pain, but the Floridian Falcon doesn't care, causing the onslaught to perdure. Hughes falls to ringside, and Double D is of course following, jumping over the ropes, and stepping off the apron. Hughes rises to his hands and knees, only to be kicked in the chest by the Human Fighter Jet. Dustin tosses the apron up, reaching under to find some sort of weapon.
"Oh no! What the hell does Dustin think he's doing here? He's gonna use some kind of weapon! Somebody stop him!"
"Nobody can, Al. A strap match is no disqualification--the referees and officials and completely helpless here. And tell me, Al, honestly, you would cheer for Ryan if he was in Dustin's place right now." Dustin looked at the steel chair with an evil grin on his face--thoughts of blood and suffering ran riot through his mind, taking over his brainwaves. He turned his attention to Hughes, who's now back to a vertical base. The Aerodynamic Blitz advances forward to hit The New Age Contender with the chair, but Ryan musters of the strength to charge full-speed ahead like a coal train, taking down the Deathmatch Majesty with a spear, causing a small pop to rise out of the audience. Ryan grabs the chair off the floor at ringside, and jams the legs of the folded steel chair into the torso of Dustin, causing the Human Fighter Jet to let out a wail of pain. Hughes continues his comeback, rolling his minuscule opponent under the bottom rope before entering the squared circle himself. The Floridian Falcon quickly rose to his feet in hopes of evading the Mancunian Mastodon's onslaught, but Ryan gets to him too quickly, and he hits a sly neck breaker. Without taking even the slightest of pauses, Hughes gets Delta in a chancery, bringing him back up to an erect stance. He Irish whips the Chieftain of Eradication to the opposite set of ropes, and gets him in a Scoop Slam off the rebound. In contrast to going for a pin-fall, he sits up the Everglades native and locks in a sleeper hold, causing Dustin to enter a state of apnea. "And there's a classic Sleeper Hold, causing Dustin Delta's breathing to slow, and possibly leave him unconsciousness." "Meaning Ryan Hughes would win the match, like I've been telling you for the past fifteen minutes, Colin. Go back to calling high school football."Even though he's having a difficult time breathing, Dustin Delta isn't one to throw in the towel. He's endured much more suffering in his time in GHW alone. Delta swings his left leg back, his knee connecting with the side of Ryan's head, loosening the grip of the Mancunian. The Inflicter of Mayhem slips out of the sleeper hold, freeing himself so he can allow the oxygen to enter his lungs again. Life springs back into the Aerodynamic Blitz, and he runs the ropes behind him. As he returns to Hughes, he extends his right leg, kicking Ryan in the back of the head. The Manchester Master doesn't have time to recover from the devastating strike, as Dustin rebounds again, and this time connects with an enziguri which appears to have snapped Hughes neck. Ryan lays back on the canvas, obviously in severe amounts of pain. The Deathmatch Majesty rolls his larger foe over into a prone position, and quickly hooks both arms and rolls over into a Cattle Mutilation, which seems to start driving Ryan mad.
