After the video package opening this month's PPV, and all the usual Pomp and Circumstance (RIP Macho) that brings, the crowd is already starting off hot, getting themselves ready for the first match of the night. Charlie Coors stands in the middle of the ring, looking not completely hung-over for once, probably because he wants to be mentally ready in case he's about to get run over by one of the competitors again this show. "Ladies and Gentlemen, the first contest of the night is scheduled for one fall! Introducing the first competitor..."The lights dim, and the various colored spotlights that are rigged up for Tracks' entrance start doing their thing, bathing the arena in gradually-changing colors, as "Don't Stop Me Now" hits the speakers. Tonight I'm gonna have myself a real good time I feel alive and the world it's turning inside out Yeah! I'm floating around in ecstasy So don't stop me now don't stop me 'Cause I'm having a good time having a good time The crowd's building cheers during the into kick into high gear as the lights start flashing rapidly, and the crowd roars as their man comes through, blasting through the curtain, sending an arm up into the air, sending his body forward with a punch, and using the momentum to spin in a full circle, before dashing right for the ring, getting his hands out for some high-fives on the way. Behind him, his usual entourage of Missy and Flash head down at a big slower, but still energetic pace, as Missy flirts with the crowd and Flash beckons them to hype up even more. Tracks slides in the ring, with enough momentum that he probably could've shot himself right outside of it the other way. But he stops himself in the middle, hops to his feet, and runs to the far corner, raising his hands up as his name is called. "Now in the ring, accompanied by Missy Sippy and "Jumpin'" Jack Flash, from Indianapolis, Indiana, weighing in at 245 pounds, Jack....Traaaaaaaaaaaaacks!"One last roar from the crowd, many of whom have been clapping along with the beat of the song, and Tracks jumps down from the turnbuckle, stripping off his jacket and tossing it to the ring hand. He keeps his energy up, hopping in place, his eyes locked intently on the ramp. "Welcome to Total Carnage! We've got a very interesting match lined up first!""Mostly because we have no idea who's going to be coming through that curtain. And neither does Jack. But this isn't the first time he's gone into a match not knowing who he'll be facing, and he did fine before.""Well, we'll see. I've been watching this kid. He's damn good, but there are always bigger fish. And when they know they're going to fight you, but you have no idea who they are going to be, you end up going in blind. And that's a huge disadvantage being unprepared."

The overstated exuberance of Jack Tracks has the crowd on pins for this match despite still being in the dark regarding his opponents identity. Deploying the greatest feat of panache GHW has ever mustered a stage hand kindly shuts off the house lights and drops the arena into darkness, hiding any anticipation spoiling crowd signs and forcing full attention onto the stage screens. With the piano notes heating up and beginning to ring in the crowds ears a single line dominates the displays: "Nexus VI". Charlie Coors stutters to deliver his line but when he finally does it cues an instantaneous cessation of the deafening music and the return of the lights. "Ladies and Gentlemen, from Huntsville Alabama, please allow me to introduce the winner of the 2012 Nexus Deathmatch...THOMAS WALKER!"Wasting little time Tommy does indeed appear from behind the tarp at the rear of the stage but rather than soaking in an oddly affable crowds appreciation he runs headlong down the ramp and slides into the ring, narrowly avoiding contact with the bottom rope as he goes. The former KotDM champion springs to his feet a foot or so shy of Jack's position and affixes his gaze on his opponent, allowing himself a wry smile as he limbers up. Opting for his standard short trunks, knee and elbow pad combination, only two changes greatly stand out on Walker: First, his blood red color scheme has been dropped for one predominantly blue laced with the occasional splash of gold and second, his older brother James who so often accompanied his sibling to the ring is notable by his absence. None the less Tommy looks ready to go. TBC by JackContract: Click Here

The crowd simmers, at both the anticipation for the first match, as well as a surprise return against a current fan favorite. The occasional call out from people with memories of Walker's last run can be heard through the usual cheers for Tracks, showing that at least some GHW fans have bigger brains than goldfish. But probably not by much. Across the ring from one another, the two competitors give each other a good ol' fashioned stare-down, as Tracks is doing his revving up in the corner, a sign that he's ready to blast out as soon as that bell goes off like a starting gun. The referee gives both men a quick look-over, waiting for the nod to go-ahead. Jack responds very quickly, his nod sharp and quick, while Walker's is a bit calmer.
This is going to be quite an interesting way to start off our big show. These two are quite good at grappling straight-up. Should be good to see a bit of actual wrestling before the violence we'll be getting more than enough of later.
Not to say these two can't get violent through pure grappling. We've seen some of the holds they're capable of. It's a violence of a different kind.
I think it's worth noting that Walker's here all alone tonight. Maybe he's got something to prove? Or the rest of his family's in jail. 50/50 chances, I think.
That last bit of announcer banter ends and the match properly begins, as the bell rings throughout the GHW Arena. Immediately, Tracks lets go of the ropes, doing as he usually does and blasting across the ring. But Walker's apparently seen a match or two from Jack, and has it scouted properly. He shoots forward with his head down low, swinging beneath and behind as Tracks rushed in with an extended arm. It was probably not the best idea for him to deviate from his usual move, as Walker is able to slip behind and wrap his arms around the charging opponent's waist. Slipping through, he manages to get both arms in, and starts to raise Tracks up....just to find himself losing his grip and tumbling back. Confused, he looks over at Tracks again, who had managed to use enough of his momentum to grab the ropes by the turnbuckle, keeping himself steady and causing Walker's momentum to shoot him away. The King of the Road turns back around with a grin, tapping his head.
"Wow, usually when you see Tracks miss someone at full steam, he's the one at the disadvantage."
"Maybe he's been working on the whole turning a weakness into a strength thing? Or he just got lucky and thought quick enough to make up for it."
With that odd opening exchange out of the way, the two men head back towards each other, finally locking up in the middle of the ring, arms entwined. They engage in a bit of a tug of war, the two men each trying to push against each other while in the lock. They seem even at first, but eventually the taller man wins out due to his leverage advantage, and Walker finds himself being pushed back into the corner. The long-haired racer pushes his arms into Walker's collar, making sure he's good and pinned. Leaving one arm right near his opponent's neck, Tracks reaches back with his left elbow, making sure to aim it just right for his first shot. Although his prey tries to wiggle out of the position, that forearm near the neck can get a whole lot of leverage, and he's unable to move away when that big elbow comes crashing down, smacking the Alabaman clean across the nose. The hit is quite loud, although whether its actually the hit itself or the nose collapsing is unclear. A few more rain down, sending Walker's head snapping back with each thunderous blow. His eyes already begin to show signs of being not quite there after such precise placement, but before too many, he gets what's almost a reprieve. After a good half a dozen hits, Tracks takes hold from underneath Walker's armpit, his other hand grabbing a handful of trunks. He takes a couple steps away from the turnbuckle, and uses his momentum to toss the slightly smaller Fighty fighty person clear over his shoulder, driving him into the center of the ring, as some hoots and hollers from the crowd ring out at seeing their guy take on all challengers.
"Phew! Those were some nasty elbows there from Tracks. A bit of a different strategy than we were expecting from him. Usually he's just fine going to the mat or running about. You don't often see him trying to go for a beatdown in the corner like that."
"Here's the thing. He's been in some pretty brutal matches lately with some real whackjobs. Maybe he's starting to learn to take a more aggressive approach. And against a former King of the Deathmatch, that's probably a damn good idea."
With Walker down in the middle of the ring, Tracks resets himself into the corner, one hand on the ropes to build up his run, much as he does at the start of the match. Watching Walker carefully, he waits for the moment his prey starts to rise, as Thomas struggles up to one knee, while shaking those blows out of his head. The second after Walker is able to get to one knee, Tracks rushes out of his corner again, aiming for that nasty Shining Wizard of his, no doubt. He closes the gap in the blink of an eye, getting his foot right on Walker's knee.....just to end up going way higher in the air than he expected! Walker was still awake enough, it seemed, and used Tracks' single-minded speed to his advantage, getting the racer around the waist, standing right up and turning around, reversing the potential Shining Wizard into a quick and nasty spinebuster! While Jack tries to figure out what the hell just happened and why is back is hurting, Walker pounces, quite literally. Jumping on to Tracks' torso, he sits right on his foe's stomach and takes a nice handful of that pretty long hair and goes to down, pummeling the younger Fighty fighty person all over the skull with some nasty fists, the force enough to also bounce Tracks' head against the mat as well.
"Great reversal by a former champion! He's gotta be careful with those fists, though. This isn't a no-dq match!"
"Eeeh, let him go at it! It's been long enough with smashing a guy's face in that you can't blame him for enjoying it a little. Trust me on that one."
