First things first... Congratulations on 1 year hear at Wednesday Night Genesis! The first show ran March 7th of last year, this show being a brainchild of mine... and I'm proud to say that here we are, 1 year later, standing taller and stronger than EVER before. Thank you to Kingbear and Zantazm for approving the creation of Genesis.. to Alex Stall for GMing it at first and helping it get off the ground... to Hyper, who took over in my brief absence when I was unable to fulfill my duties. Most of all though, thank you to guys like Dave Carter, Emblem, Ricky Rodriguez, Cosmos, and EVERY single member who has helped in any way to make Genesis what it is today.
Match 1 - Singles
Tripp vs. Soundlab
Newcomer Tripp takes on the veteran Soundlab. Can he pull off the victory or will the Psycho Circus devour him alive?
Match 2 - Singles
Amanda vs. Stevie Rock
In a rare intergender singles match, former women's champion Amanda Hallsworth takes on Stevie Rock. Stevie is accustomed to fighting the men, but if he takes Amanda as a joke, he'll quickly find out why she is a former champion.
Match 3 - Singles
Scotty Dreamer vs. Anthony Luciano
After an EXTREMELY impressive showing at Dawn Of Destruction, Scotty Dreamer has proven that he isn't partying and playing around any longer. Now, he'll have to prove that he can do more to bring the big don himself down than eliminate him from the ring. Scotty will have to bring the fight to Luciano if he hopes to be heard or his credibility might just sleep with the fishes.
Pre-Main Event - Singles - No Time Limit
Metal Dragon vs. Emblem
Metal Dragon promised to step up to the plate and deliver and he's got his opportunity as he gets ready to take on the New Age Champion, the Impulsive Emblem. There's easily no better way for Metal Dragon to prove he's ready for the main stage, but Emblem didn't get to the top by taking it light on his opponents.
Main Event - Tag Team Match
The Breakfast Boys vs. Coven 2.0 (Hayden Hardkore and Rurouni Kenshin Kobashi)
For the first time in a while, Wednesday Night Genesis brings Tag Team action to the plate, pitting the sickle-wielding Rurouni and the black-hearted Hayden from Coven 2.0 against the pancake enthusiasts The Psycho Kid and Cosmos from Slam Jam Nation. You won't want to miss this one!
Post Count: I'm in a good mood and it's our 1 year anniversary, so the count is lifted for this week!
