The return of GHW has received much press from the wrestling media. People are swarming in the arena and are hyped after witnessing a great bout between Alex Night and Salience. Just then “It’s My Time” by Fabolous blares over the P.A. system. The crowd gives a mixed reaction as the velvet red curtains begin to shuffle.
Yea Go hard, today The past is the past you know Can’t worry the past cause that yes-sterday It’s a new day bro Ima put it on the line cause it’s my time My day, gotta do it now Hey hey hey heey I gotta stay on my grind cause it’s my time (hey), My time (hey), my time (hey) If your with me let me hear you say, common Ma ma, ma ma, (dah dah dah dah dah) If your with me let me hear you say Ma ma, ma ma, (dah dah dah dah dah) It’s my time
Out from behind the curtains steps out a Reeves! The crowd continues to give him a mixed reaction as he surfs the crowd with his eyes. He is hyped up for his return to GHW as he is prepared to get some gold around his waist that woul match tha chain around his neck.
Charlie Coors The following match is a No-Disqualification Match scheduled for one fall! Entering first from New York City, New York! He is The Sketch Kid...Reeves!
Yea Guess what time it is, my my my time You can check your I phone, better say it’s Itime I don’t even need a watch, I don’t even see a clock Soon as a I walk in, it feel like me o’clock Give me a clock, Every time I check Singers don’t measure up, and try and blame the Pyrex Damn, ima do it bigger than a 5-ex Can’t ride with an L, so I don’t drive lex Games so bickery, so full of trickery Nursery, rhyming, hickory, dickory Blowing that side, the hood call it pickory, Biggie, puffy, busta victory
Reeves folds his arms across his chest for a moment as he examines the crowd and their reactions. After a minute or two a smirk forms on his face as he unfolds his arms and begins to venture down the ramp toward the ever-so-popular GHW ring. He reaches the bottom of the ramp quickly and rolls under the southern ropes into the ring.
Go hard, today Can’t worry the past, cause that yes-sterday Ima put it on tonight cause it’s my time Hey hey hey heey I gotta stay on my grind cause it’s my time (hey), My time (hey), my time (hey) If your with me let me hear you say, common Ma ma, ma ma, (dah dah dah dah dah) If your with me let me hear you say Ma ma, ma ma, (dah dah dah dah dah) It’s my time
Reeves is back to his feet quickly as he rushes toward the northwestern corner and takes little time mounting the second ropes. He leans his lower body against the top of the turnbuckle while grabbing the third ring rope to his left with his left hand. With his right hand he points to the people in the crowd while mouthing something. It’s unknown whether he said something kind or cruel. You can never tell with someone like Reeves. It’s one of the may qualities that makes him “The Perfect Weapon”.
My time is more like fly time Don’t call to get dressed, call it in a sky time If you aint a pilot, you probly couldn’t style it Unless you was a stewardess, you wonder what to do with this First I take the time out, then I put the time in Money aint everything, it’s more about the timing So I got the water mark, Flawless diamonds In other words that’s called perfect timing I feel like a favour, I feel like a savour They clock in my neck, I feel like im flavour I go so hard, glow so god Dance, scream
He un-mounts from the turnbuckle and turns to come face to face with the ring announcer known as Charlie Coors. There is a long silence between the two before Reeves smirks at him and pats him on the back. He then goes to parade around the ring for a bit more as he's got time and is not worried about his mystery opponent.

There is a long berth of silence, the tension mounting in the air as questions about the mystery opponent go unanswered. The Sketch Kid bides his time, his confident smile still upon his face as he waits. He stares down the entrance-way, just as eager to see who he would be fighting as the next person. Reeve's confidence seems to grow as the tension in the air is cut through by the unfamiliar music that parades the entrance of the mysterious man. As "I would Die For You" by Mariachi El Bronx hits the arena, the frowns begin to form on the faces of those around. Obviously not the entrance that anybody was expecting, the sound serves to form a few giggles around the arena as the big screen flashes the name "Santo Mascaras" in gold lettering, while the remainder of the screen remaining black. Still, there is no sign of the mystery man, no hint at whether the entire stunt is simply a prank aimed at Reeves himself. Now laughing at the change of events, Reeves begins to look around the crowd, desperately seeking for Ashton Kucher or a sign telling him he has been Punked. He sees no such sign, and as the music continues to play, the arena seems to have lit up into a fiesta-type atmosphere. The light hearted music gives the crowd a chance to break, and sporadic dancing breaks out around the GHW Arena. In the midst of the party, a solitary figure appears just inside the entrance curtain. Standing in the ring, Charlie Coors is handed a piece of paper. Stammering through the obviously unexpected entrance, Charlie does his best to explain what is going on. :Charlie Coors: Uh... Reeve's opponent tonight, I am told is known as... Santo Mascaras...[/i] With no more words forming in his mouth, Coors lowers the mike and takes his leave from the ring. Santo, stands proudly at the top of the entrance-way, his hands placed on his hips. He stares out around the arena, scanning the waves and waves of bewildered fans. He adjusts the mask on his head, staring out through white trimmed eye-holes. His mask is tinged with a golden color, matching the cape that drapes from his neck down his back flowing over his shoulders to hide them from view. Taking a step towards the ring, his shiny white pants catch the light, the golden cross on the leg glinting in the fiesta-like lighting. He stops after a few steps, bows to the crowd and lets out a rousing call of "Arriba" before carrying on his way toward the ring, and his bemused opponent. :"Big" Al Mulligan: Not exactly what I was expecting Fuzz...
:Colin "The Fuzz" Jennings: Is it... Rey Mysterio? Wow, a huge signing for GHW. They got Rey Rey!
:"Big" Al Mulligan: Are you kidding? Not every Latin looking Fighty fighty person is Rey Mysterio. This is some faceless dweeb with white pants, hiding behind a gold mask. This is the joke match of the night, Reeves is going to wipe the floor with this luchador wannabe.[/i] Santo closes in on the ring, leaping from the floor to the apron with surprising ease, but does not stay planted on the apron for long. With a simple bounce, Mascaras had grabbed a hold of the top rope and flipped himself upside down, doing almost a handstand on the wire before flipping into the ring and landing safely on his feet, his arms outstretched as if waiting for applause from his unimpressed opponent. When the applause does not come, he waves Reeves away with his hand, before springing back to his feet once more and beginning to remove the latch of his golden cape from underneath his chin. Once removed, Santo tosses the cape at the referee and warms up by leaping into the air, bringing his knees up high to his chest as he does so. The excitement that the mysterious masked luchador oozes is unmistakable, the Mexican Mystery simply itching to get into his first bout of action in GHW. The crowd is laughing at this spectacle. Reeves, on the other hand, is not impressed at all. Here he is trying to be a serious in-ring competitor and he’s got some fake Luchador hopping around in front of him like a bunny rabbit. Sure the man was taller than him but he lacked in areas of weight and appeal which is why Reeves can’t take him seriously. He just shakes his head in disappointment as the referee calls for the bell for the match to begin.
“Big” Al Mulligan: This is a disgrace! What the hell is Reverend Vortigern trying to pull?
Colin “Fuzz” Jennings: I don’t know, Al. But a match is a match and it’s best that we just do our jobs and commentate.
The two circle the ring as they’re looking for an opening in each other. They lock up collar and elbow in the center of the ring as they jerk and push in an attempt to overpower one another. Reeves gets the upper hand as he backs Santo up against the western ropes. He grabs Masceras by the right wrist with his left hand and attempts to make an Irish whip but Santo reverses and sends him into the eastern ropes. On Reeves’ return trip Santo leaps in the air and spreads his legs in an almost perfect horizontal fashion as he leapfrogs over him. He lands back on the canvas feet first and rebounds off of the eastern ropes as Reeves is just coming off the western ones. Santo leaps in the air as he turns sideways while lifting his right heel up. He spins in a backward motion as the heel of his right boot crashes into Reeves’ chin with a spinning heel kick. He rolls to his feet and plays to the crowd a little bit for his eyes are crazed.
Colin “Fuzz” Jennings: Whoa, this kid might actually have some talent.
“Big” Al Mulligan: Oh, please. Reeves is just suffering from a little ring rust. He just came out of a six month hiatus.
Santo turns back to Reeves and goes for a vertical press cover. 1…Reeves gets his right shoulder off the ground which is most expected from everybody in the arena. Santos does not hesitate to quickly hop to his feet. He is obviously hyped up as he wants to show his stuff. He reaches down and grabs Reeves by the head and pulls him up. Masceras holds Reeves right shoulder with his left hand to keep him in place. He extends his right arm and swings it toward Reeves in attempt to hit a short-arm clothesline. The Sketch Kid manages to bend over just in time to dunk under the move. He slips right behind Santo and underhooks each arm with his adjacent one. He clasps his hands together as he has his opponent locked in a full nelson. The move is not done yet as Reeves falls backward while releasing the full nelson as Santo does a back flip and lands face first on the canvas as a result of the dragon suplex delivered by Reeves. The Sketch Kid gets back to his feet quickly as Santo is stumbling up while holding the back of his head with his right hand. Reeves runs at the man and leaps in the air as he brings his legs together and leans back. The soles of his boots collide against Masceras chest which cause the Latino Fighty fighty person to stumble back into the northwestern corner and slump into a seated position.
“Big” Al Mulligan: There it is! Now we’re beginning to see the switch turn on.
Reeves gets back to his feet as he grabs Santo by the ankles and drags him out of the corner. From there he goes for a vertical press cover of his own. 1…2…Santo kicks out of the pin. This is quite surprising as everybody thinks that he is some local jobber. They usually do not kick out of hard hitting combos like the one that Reeves had performed. Reeves sits up on his knees as he is the most surprised out of them all. He is not going to waste anymore of his time as clearly nobody is willing to take him seriously. Reeves gets to his feet and exits through the top and middle ring ropes onto the northern apron which faces the announcer’s table. From there he jumps down and turns back toward the ring. Reeves drops down to his right knee as he digs under the ring. It is not long before Reeves pulls out a garbage can without a lid. The crowd reacts well to the foreign object as Reeves tosses it into the ring. He turns his back on the ring and raises his right arm in the air with his hand clenched into a fist. The crowd gets behind him even more. Reeves turns back to the ring and climbs back up onto the apron. He had taken too much time as Santo has the garbage can held sideways in his hands. He runs toward Reeves with it held over his head but The Sketch Kid dunks down a bit as he thrusts his upper body between the middle and top rope, driving his right shoulder into the man’s gut. Santo stumbles back as he drops the garbage can and leans slightly on it. Reeves decides to take advantage of this moment as he uses the ring ropes to elevate himself up and into the ring. He had fallen for the trap; Santo spins around with the garbage can still in hand as it drives right into Reeves’ forehead. He falls back first onto the ground as the sound of the hit makes the crowd go “Ooo!”.
Colin “Fuzz” Jennings: Reeves had taken too much time taunting.
Masceras drives the sole of his right boot into Reeves’ abdomen with a stomp to make sure that he stays down. He places the garbage can on top of his opponent before screaming to the crowd. They’re beginning to warm up to the Luchador. Santo runs to the eastern ropes. He leaps into the air and places his feet on the second rope before somersaulting back and splashing right into the garbage can and Reeves! He rolls off holding his gut while Reeves pushes the garbage can off himself and tries to recuperate. Santo does not give him enough time as he is back on him with a cover. 1…2…Reeves kicks his legs up which helps get his right shoulder up. Santo does not let up as he pulls Reeves up and uses his right arm to wrap around Reeves’ head with a front facelock. He places Reeves’ right arm over his back and grabs the tights before snapping back in a quick place as he lifts Reeves up and drops him back first onto the garbage can. Santo pulls him off the garbage can and goes for another cover as he hooks the right leg this time. 1…2…Reeves gets his left shoulder off of the canvas as he looks to be feeling the pain from the garbage can.
“Big” Al Mulligan: Come on, Reeves. Don’t let him break you down!
Colin “Fuzz” Jennings: Santo is doing it! If he stays on top of the legend he just might be able to pull out a HUGE upset!
Masceras kicks aside the garbage can. He makes his way on top of the northwestern turnbuckle. He sits mounted on the turnbuckle as he motions for Reeves to get up with his right hand. He even begins to start a clap within the arena. This is a huge mistake as it kicks in Reeves’ senses to tell him that something is going on. The Sketch Kid stumbles to his feet with his back to Santo. He turns around just as Santo launches himself off of the top turnbuckle. Santo leans back in the air as he keeps his feet together in attempt for a missile dropkick. Reeves steps to the right as his opponent crashes onto the canvas. He wraps his right arm around the left ankle and his left arm around the right. He then turns Santo over as he remains standing to lock in the elevated Boston crab. Santo is waving his hands wildly as he is in a lot of pain. He reaches out for the ring ropes but is too far away as Reeves has him right in the center of the ring. There are only so many ways that Santo could get out of this situation if he has the will power to succeed and show his stuff. Even though he’s shown a lot already.

Reeves puts all he can into the move, listening for the melodious sounds of agonized groaning that would inevitably follow. Sure enough, after a few moments of discomfort, Santo is wriggling about and grunting in pain while looking for an escape plan. As the seconds pass, the pain mounts inside the lower back of the Mexican Mystery Man, right up to the breaking point. The first true test of Santo's heart and soul is passed when the Mexican grits his teeth underneath his golden mask and flings his body weight forward. This throws Reeves off balance and allows Masceras to topple the Sketch Kid over onto the mat himself.
Reeves is quick to find his feet, as the pair manage to stand at relatively the same time. The early strain on Santo's back shows as the Mexican finds his feet, holding both hands to the small of his back for support. Reeves, manages to stand freely and grabs Masceras by the top of the mask-eras. Reeves smiles as he leads his opponent toward the turnbuckle, and his waiting punishment.
:"Big" Al Mulligan: Santo managed to wriggle free of Reeves' innovative Boston Crab, but it appears that he may not have wriggled far enough.
:Colin "Fuzz" Jennings: He managed to find a moment of sanctuary, but now the GHW legend is right back at him. Santo's chance to make a name for himself might come through how much of a beating he can weather.[/i]
Reeves draws nearer and nearer to the turnbuckle, with the Mexican struggling the whole way. Given his stockier build, the Sketch kid manages to power on, virtually dragging the luchador toward the corner. When he is within reach, Reeves flings his struggling opponent toward the padded steel, but is surprised when the Mexican Mystery Man steps up the rungs of the turnbuckle and proceeds to back-flip off the turnbuckle and back over the astonished body of his opponent. The high flying Mexican lands safely in a three point stance, his left hand coming down to the mat as well as his feet, so that he looks much like a lion crouching in the reeds and stalking its prey.
Before Reeves has too much of a chance to turn around, Masceras had pounced, and pushed him head first into the turnbuckle that had been intended for the Mexican. Reeves bounces off the padded steel, his left shoulder taking the main impact and wheels around to the right, seemingly aimlessly. Sensing his advantage, Santo takes his time in waiting for Reeves to face him toe to toe before striking once more, but the crafty Sketch Kid has other plans for the pesky luchador. Sucking the Mexican into his plan, Reeves strikes first. While he was still feigning his dazed and confused wandering, Reeves reaches out and grabs Masceras once more by the mask and flings him toward the ropes. He uses his free hand to push behind the Mexican's shoulder with enough force to fling the lightweight out of the ring to the waiting concrete below.
All seems to go to plan, with Santo flipping up and over the ropes, but instead of crashing on the floor below, the luchador grabs the top rope with both hands, pulling himself around so that he lands safely once more with both feet on the apron of the ring, letting out a rallying "Ole" as he does so. The sound of his call echoes out into the arena clearly, spurring the crowd to chime in in response. One can tell that he is beaming a smile from ear to ear behind his mask, even without seeing his face.
:Colin "Fuzz" Jennings: Everything Reeves has thrown at him, Santo has had an answer for. His reactions, his awareness and his agility are defiantly much better than anybody in this arena had given him credit for.
:"Big" Al Mulligan: But on the outside of the ring, facing in is not a place that a newcomer necessarily wants to find himself when facing a veteran like Reeves.
:Colin "Fuzz" Jennings: Why's that Big Al?
Before Al can answer and before Santo can react, Reeves had seized his opportunity to act. He dashes into the ropes across the ring, charging back at Masceras with all the speed his stocky frame can handle. When he nears the target, he swings forward his foot, booting Santo right in the nose of his mask with the sole of his boot. The force of the kick sends the luchador flying off the ring apron and hurtling through the air, yet not in a way that he would be proud of. Santo comes crashing back down to earth like a jumbo jet on fire, the back of his head and his neck slamming into the crowd barricade amids a sea of "oohs" from the capacity Buffalo crowd.
Reeves nods in appreciation at his handwork, before setting off to the outside of the ring himself, first making a beeline for the underside of the ring in search of new and wonderful weapons to further stamp his mark on the match and make a lasting memory in the mind of his Mexican Mystery opponent.
:"Big" Al Mulligan: Drive-by! He practically took Santo's head off with that kick! Now, all of a sudden, Santo is in a bad, bad way and Reeves has expectedly taken control of the match.
:Colin "Fuzz" Jennings: Welcome to GHW Santo Masceras... How's the head?

Reeves continues to dig under the ring as his opponent is in a unstable state from the fall. There is a moment of anticipation as it seems that he has found something under the apron. The item is not revealed as Reeves quickly tucks it under the waistband of his pants. He stands back up as if he had not taken anything even though he clearly had. The Sketch Kid turns his focus back on Masceras who is on his hands and knees. Reeves steps his right leg over Santo’s back and straddles down on his lower back. He grabs the strings on the back of the mask and begins to unlace it.
“Big” Al Mulligan: This is Santo’s first match and he could already be unmasked. How embarrassing!
Colin “Fuzz” Jennings: Reeves is a master of psychology, he knows how to break an opponent down mentally and physically.
The Luchador sits back on his knees and reaches both hands back as he grabs hold of Reeves’ wrist; holding a wrist in each hand. Santo begins to rise to his feet as Reeves can’t go anywhere due to his wrists being held. After fully rising to his feet, Santo releases his grasp and spins to face the man who tried to unmask him. He swings his right hand in a quick motion as the back of the hand slams against Reeves’ chest with a knife-edge chop. This does not have as much effect since Reeves has a shirt on but that does not stop Santo. He grabs his opponent by the back of the head and slams him forehead first against the ring apron. This leaves The Sketch Kid dazed long enough for Masceras to roll him back into the ring. Santo walks up the steel steps that are located on the northeastern ring post. He steps along the northern apron before climbing back up onto the northeastern turnbuckle.
Colin “Fuzz” Jennings: It looks like Masceras is going into the high-risk district!
Santo is living in the moment. He turns his back on Reeves before somersaulting backwards off of the top rope. Reeves rolls to his right just in time for Santo to crash onto the canvas. The Sketch Kid quickly rises to his feet. He runs toward Santo, who is on his belly, and leaps in the air while performing a back flip in a forward motion as he splashes right onto his opponent with shooting star press. From there he uses both hands as he hooks the right leg for the pin. 1…2…Masceras gets his right shoulder off of the canvas just in time. The frustration is clear on Reeves’ face as he does not want to spend anymore time in the ring with an “unknown”. He gets to his feet and backs up toward the western ring ropes. Reeves is prepared to charge Santo for another kick to the head. He dashes toward his opponent but Masceras manages to wrap both of his legs around Reeves’ left leg and take him down with a drop toe hold that bring Reeves down to his knees with his upper body hanging on the middle eastern rope.
“Big” Al Mulligan: How is Reeves letting this clown best him?
Colin “Fuzz” Jennings: I guess he’s still in shock like the rest of us.
Santo gets up to his feet as he runs in place which gets the crowd to stamp there feet. He finally takes off running and rebounds off of the western ropes. On the return trip the Luchador comes back to the right side of Reeves’ and grabs the top and middle ropes as he spins his lower body between the ropes in a circular motion as the knees collide against Reeves’ face with a tiger feint kick. Reeves falls onto his back in a dazed state. Santo is bouncing on the apron as he waits for his opponent to rise. Once Reeves is on his feet, Santo uses the ropes to springboard himself into the ring. He wraps his legs around Reeves’ head and falls backward while releasing the lock as he sends Reeves stumbling through the top and middle ring ropes of the eastern ropes out onto the floor. Reeves rolls right to his feet as soon as he hits the floor. He turns back toward the ring just as Masceras leaps over the top rope toward him. Santo turns sideways while in the air and performs a spinning motion. He lands perfectly on Reeves with his unique suicide dive.
Colin “Fuzz” Jennings: What a move!
The Luchador stumbles to his feet as he is a little groggy from the dive. He shakes it off and begins to clap his hands together. The crowd follows behind as he has the whole arena clapping for him. Santo is on the verge of a major upset and he knows it. He slides Reeves into the ring and slides in after as he goes for the cover. 1…2…Reeves kicks out as he uses up much of his energy. Masceras begins to become cocky. He takes his time standing to his feet. A smile comes across his faces while he pulls Reeves to his feet. Unfortunately for him, he took too much time. Reeves lifts his right knee up and drives it into the abdomen of his opponent. With Santo bent over, Reeves rebounds off of the northern ropes. On the return trip he leaps high in the air and extends both of his legs as his right one crashes down on the back of Santo’s neck with a leg drop bulldog which drives the Masked Luchador’s face right into the canvas.
“Big” Al Mulligan: That’s a brain scrambler right there.
The Sketch Kid rolls Santo over and goes for a cover. 1…2…Santo kicks out. The pressure of the match is mounting on both superstars as neither of them can get the win. Reeves gets to his feet and rips the bandanna from his head as he tosses it outside of the ring and into the crowd. He’s done playing games; it’s time for him to take it to the best place possible for him to perform…the top rope. Reeves climbs up onto the southwestern turnbuckle. His back is to the ring as he is about to go for a 450° senton. He is too late as Santo runs at Reeves and leaps in the air before slamming the front of his right foot against the left side of Reeves’ head. This leaves Reeves dazed on the top rope. Masceras climbs out onto the western ring apron and then onto the southwestern turnbuckle where he comes face to face with Reeves who is still out of it.
Colin “Fuzz” Jennings: What’s he going to do, Al?
“Big” Al Mulligan: I don’t think that I want to know.
Santo does not waste time as he leaps over his opponent while wrapping his arms around Reeves’ waist in the process to pull him down. Masceras falls into a seated position with Reeves’ shoulders pinned to the ground under his legs. The referee begins to count. 1…2…Reeves slams his feet together against the head of Santo to break the pin as he rolls backward out of it. Unfortunately, as soon as he makes it to his feet his throat is greeted with the bicep muscle of Santo’ right arm as the Luchador drives it there with a vicious clothesline. Reeves’ body flips and turns in the air in a corkscrew motion before flopping onto the canvas.

Masceras adjusts the fit of his mask over his face as Reeves writes about on the mat, before the high flying Mexican beckons for this opponent to stand once more. Seeing that the Sketch Kid is in the process of finding his feet once again, Santo bounds into the ring ropes and charges at Reeves. Sensing impending danger, Reeves swings around to see the lightweight luchador hurtling at him and readies himself with an arm waiting to Clothesline his pesky opponent off his feet and put a stop to his momentum gathering. He leans into the clothesline, stepping into the move, when Santo Masceras leaves his feet.
With a simple touch of the shoulders on the way past, the Mexican Jumping Bean leapfrogs over Reeves, avoiding the career shortening swinging arm altogether and Spring-boarding himself off the second rope on the other side of Reeves' body. Before the Sketch Kid can regain his awareness of where Santo had gotten to, the Mexican Mystery Man had flung himself back toward his opponent, booting him with a Dropkick in the back with the soles of both feet. The Springboard Dropkick both knocks the wind out of Reeves' lungs and sends the 235lb'er sprawling face first to the canvas once more. As Reeves desperately seeks to suck in precious air, his lungs burning and crying out for oxygen, Santo is free to spring up to his feet once more. Reveling in the momentum gathered, Santo claps his hands in time, stomping his foot with each clap, until the capacity crowd are clapping along with him, beginning to rally behind the underdog.
:Colin "Fuzz" Jennings: What's that I hear Al? People are actually beginning to like the little guy!
:"Big" Al Mulligan: Be that as it may, he still has a long way to go. And a few clapping fans never won anybody a match. Reeves has the experience, he has the know-how and the can-do.
:Colin "Fuzz" Jennings: Well, I'm starting to like the little guy. He's so full of life, I feel like I'm getting a workout just from watching him. Its like watching an excitable dog when the owner walks in the door after a long day at work...
:"Big" Al Mulligan: Er, sure Fuzz. You mean, he's about to start humping your leg then?[/i]
While the clapping carries on around the arena, Santo sets his mind back to the task at hand. The anger had begun to set in on Reeves' behalf, slamming both of his fists into the mat in frustration at his unexpected opponent unexpectedly retaining the upper hand in the match. Before he manages to summon the willpower to stand, Santo had clambered over to the nearest turnbuckle and sprung from the canvas to the top rung in a single bound. He crouches on the top tier, biding his time until Reeves is in the perfect position.
Reeves takes his time in getting to his feet, looking around for a short time, confused as to where his opponent had gone once more. When he finds him, Santo is flying through the air at him, having jumped from the turnbuckle. Santo somersaults through the air, locking his knees around the Sketch Kid's head in a Dragonrana. Scouting the move well, Reeves slides his hands under Santo's shoulders and lifts him up into a powerbomb position. He spins around as the polarized crowd work themselves into a frenzy, looking to drive his high flying opponent into the depths of hell and an early shower. The Sketch kid lifts him up high into the air for extra leverage, still rotating around, but as he does so, the Mexican Mystery Man tightens his grip with his knees.
Shifting his weight, Santo manages to throw Reeves off balance, the middleweight letting go of his opponent for just a moment, but it is enough to start the pendulum swinging. Santo spins around Reeves' body, keeping his knees tightly clutches around his opponent's head as he does so. The result sees Santo spin his opponent around and around like a top, rotating him with his own body, before flipping him upside down to finish off his counter. The Sketch Kid is turned inside out as if he had just been through the spin cycle on a washing machine, and is discarded with a spotlessly executed Hurricanrana. As one, the crowd around the arena rise to their feet, cheering on the spectacle that the two men are putting on for them.
:"Big" Al Mulligan: I have to hand that to the Mexican, that was an impressive counter...
:Colin "Fuzz" Jennings: Impressive? That was bloody incredible! He had his Dragonrana countered, and was teetering on extinction for a moment, but managed to turn the veteran inside out. Reeves had no answer for him in the end!
:"Big" Al Mulligan: So, maybe the kid has some skills after all. The Reverend did pick him to challenge Reeves, but he can't let up or count his chickens before they hatch.[/i]
Keeping his body on top of Reeves', Santo swings around to roll his opponent up into a pin predicament. The ref, once again, slides in to count the pinfall. "1... 2..." The ref's hand had barely grazed the mat for the second time when Reeves kicks out, with menace this time. Santo is flicked off his opponents body with the strong kick out, and both men take their feet, Santo once again kipping up quickly, while Reeves follows him in a much slower fashion, using the ropes to help him. Santo, seeing his opponent once again backed in against the ropes, charges at him once more, looking to drive his foot to the side of Reeve's head, but Reeves ducks the move and flips Santo over the top rope, sending the Mexican once again soaring up and out of the ring, letting him crash uncomfortably on the concrete outside of the ring this time, right in front of the commentary desk.
Reeves, looking down at his handy-work, sees the opportunity laid out before him. Like Santo before him, he climbs the turnbuckle. However, this time, Reeves faces the outside of the ring, lining his downed opponent up and looking to clip his wings for good. He signals for the crowd to get behind him as he readies himself for the jump. Closing his eyes in an exceptionally long blink, he takes one final deep breath before jumping high into the air...
:"Big" Al Mulligan: Just what has Reeves got planned now? Whatever it is, it does not bode well for the poor kid from Mexico.
:Colin "Fuzz" Jennings: I can't watch Al, but my eyes are strangely glued to the scene in front of me... And I mean right in front of me. I can't believe we get pain for these seats. If Reeves overshoots his mark, he's going to land on me instead![/i]
The figure of Reeves sails into the air from the turnbuckle, almost in slow motion. It is one of those moments where around the arena, a collective breath is taken and held until the tension is over...

Reeves’ body somersaults through the air in perfect harmony as the crowd rises to their feet to see the spectacle. As his body nears his opponent, Reeves keeps his legs together as the soles of his feet slam down on Santo’s abdominal region as he rolls backward seeming to have injured his right leg from the landing of his moonsault variation of the double foot stomp.
“Big” Al Mulligan: WOW! What a jump!
Colin “Fuzz” Jennings: Reeves had just on upped the competition but he seemed to hurt his leg in the process.
The Sketch Kid uses the announcer’s table to pull himself up to his feet. His leg is in a lot of pain as he limps toward the northern apron of the ring and uses the bottom rope to pull himself under it. Santo is still down from the aerial maneuver performed by Reeves and seems to wheezing for breath as all of the air had been taken out of his lungs. It isn’t long before he manages to push himself up to his hands and knees. He crawls toward the ring like a toddler as his hands grasp the smooth apron cloth. Masceras uses the apron to pull himself up and roll under the bottom rope into the ring after Reeves.
Colin “Fuzz” Jennings: They’re both in the ring but neither seems fit to fight at the moment.
The crowd returns to their seats as they cheer for them both to rise to continue their bout. The match has far past expectations made by the audience, commentators, and even Reeves himself. Santo had managed to pull himself to the northeastern corner and sit there in a seated position while Reeves is leaning his back against the middle western ropes with his right leg straight out as if it were in a cast. Reeves manages to push himself away from the ropes, he is still limping but able to wrestle. He grabs Santo by the mask and pulls him up to a standing position but Masceras uses his left leg to swing at full speed and connect in the back of Reeves’ right knee. This causes Reeves’ leg to instantly give out as he falls toward his right side but the eastern ring ropes are in the way. He manages to catch hold of the top rope with both hands to prevent his fall but has lost his dominance in the process.
“Big” Al Mulligan: That’s a cheap and underhanded tactic by Santo!
Colin “Fuzz” Jennings: Hm, that’s the first time I’ve heard you complain about it.
Santo grabs Reeves head with his left hand and balls his right fist before driving it right into his opponent’s forehead. This causes Reeves to lose his grip on the ropes and fall backward before rolling toward the center of the ring. The Sketch Kid tries to get back to his feet but Masceras runs up behind him and slams the sole of his left boot against Reeves’ spin which causes him to fall back onto his stomach. From there Santo grabs Reeves’ right leg as he is face down on the canvas. He steps his left leg over and rotates ninety degrees as Reeves’ right is hooked around his own. Santo places Reeves’ left leg over the ankle of his right on and steps his left leg over the right ankle with the left leg on the inside. The Luchador then falls onto his back as he has Reeves locked in an inverted figure four leglock.
Colin “Fuzz” Jennings: An inverted figure four to the already injured right leg. Santo has some in ring smarts.
Reeves is in a lot of pain as he is wailing his arms in pain. The pressure of the hold is causing great pain to his already injured right leg. Santo just keeps on applying more and more pressure to that leg. The Sketch Kid places his hands flat on the canvas as he pushes his upper body off of the canvas. He swings his right arm under his body which gives him enough momentum to turn over. The pressure is now on Santo’s legs as they’re both lying on their backs with their shoulders off of the canvas. Masceras sits up instantly as he tries to break the hold with his hands but is unsuccessful in doing so. He might have even tapped out right then and there if Reeves had not broken the hold as his legs are in too much pain to keep the move locked in.
“Big” Al Mulligan: How does I feel, Santo? That’s a taste of your own medicine. It’s something that we in the wrestling business call karma!
Reeves scoots toward the southern ropes using his left forearm while gripping his right knee with his hand. Santo does not let him get far as he grabs him by the right ankle with both hands and begins to pull back. This causes Reeves to rise up into a hopping position on his left leg while he is being tugged in by the right. He leaps in the air and spins to his left as he attempts to kick Masceras in the right side of the head with his foot but Santo lowers his head in time for the foot to fly over it. Now Reeves is back where he began but not for long as Santo tugs backward so Reeves falls flat on his face. Santo releases his grip on the ankle and steps back as he is waiting for The Sketch Kid to rise. Reeves slowly staggers to his feet has the damage done to his nose had caused his eyes to tear up and blur his vision. Santo now comes from behind as he underhooks each arm with his adjacent one. He clasps his hands together as he has his opponent locked in a full nelson. He then lifts Reeves up into the air while keeping the full nelson locked in and falls down into a seated position with the Carretilla Facebuster!
Colin “Fuzz” Jennings: I truly do believe that Santo has a good possibility of walking out of here with the win tonight.
“Big” Al Mulligan: Oh please, Reeves may be down but he’s never out.
The Luchador turns Reeves over into a prone position and covers him. 1…2…The referee is so close to counting three but Reeves gets his right shoulder up. It seems as though the count would have made it to three if it were not for a pause between Santo delivering the facebuster and going for the pin. Masceras is ready to put this to an end as he pulls Reeves up and over hooks his right arm over Reeves’ right shoulder with his left arm under hooking Reeves right forearm. He’s setting up for a single arm DDT which leads to his signature submission but Reeves slams his right foot down on Santo’s right foot which causes him to unwrap his arms from Reeves’ right arm. Masceras hops on his left foot with his right one clasped between his two hands. His hopping causes him to turn his back on Reeves as he needs to stay balanced while hopping and can’t stay in the same place. Reeves takes advantage of the situation and digs his right hand under his waistband and retrieves a pair of brass knuckles that he had stored there earlier in the match. He runs right at Santo and slams the knuckles right into the back of the head which causes Santo to crash into the canvas in a heap.

OOC: I'm away till Sunday night over Easter so no hurry for the reply. Have heaps of time next week though.
Santo drops like a ton of bricks from the Brass Knuckled shot, the ref powerless to control Reeves' bad intentions. The Sketch Kid is well within the rules of the match and the veteran sets about to make the rest of Santo's night miserable and as short as possible. Santo lies on his back, his hands covering his masked face after the shot had been made. When he takes his hands away, he sees the figure of Reeves smiling down at him from above, the Brass Knucks ready for round two. For added insult to the injury, Reeves mounts the downed Mexican, pinning his arms to the mat with his knees, while he takes to the mystery man's skull with his Brass covered fist.
Santo can do little to cover himself with his arms pinned to the match as he has the life pummeled out of his sails, the light fading from his eyes with every bad intended shot. After several blows directly to the skull, Reeves leaves his opponent where he lies, eyes closed and breathing rapid, yet shallowly. The veteran takes the time to pace about the ring, adjusting the bandanna on his head before. Once more, the outspoken legend eyes up the turnbuckle, a gleam once more in his eyes. He takes in a few deep breaths and begins to climb as the replays of the Brass Knuckle shot that turned the momentum around begin to play.
:Colin "Fuzz" Jennings: Look at that, he went down faster than a two dollar hooker!
:"Big" Al Mulligan: You have such a way with words Fuzz. Nevertheless, that was a brutal shot by Reeves. Finally, the Sketch Kid has begun to knock some sense into his pesky opponent.
:Colin "Fuzz" Jennings: This could be a turning point Al... And judging from the look in the eyes of Reeves, the turn could lead to a very short road. He is going up, and what goes up usually hurts somebody coming down![/i]
Reeves reaches the top of the turnbuckle in no time, wasting little time in preparing himself. He lines his opponent up and points out into the crowd, who rise as one, sensing what he has planned. With that, Reeves readies himself and leaps off the turnbuckle, beginning the rotation in his flight. 450 degrees he turns, each rotation bringing him closer to his waiting target.
In the meantime, Santo was busy trying to unscramble his brains from the earlier attack. As Reeves soars toward him, his knees rise, without the Mexican Mystery Man even opening his eyes. Out of instinct, awareness or just sheer luck alone, Santo brings his knees up to his chest and Reeves crash lands right on the points of his waiting knees. The force of 235lbs of Sketch Kid airlines falling on top of his knees wakes the downed Mexican up, his eyes shooting open in surprise and confusion. He tilts his head to the side, seeing his opponent clutching at his ribs, his lungs winded of all oxygen. Desperately, Reeves seeks to suck life giving air into his body, yet the pain is too much and all he can manage is a short burst. Santo shakes his head, bewildered as he struggles to force himself to his feet again, a lot slower this time than usual.
:"Big" Al Mulligan: How in the hell? Call that a stroke of luck Fuzz, I have no idea how Santo knew that Reeves was there. He didn't open his or even seem to register that he was aware of his opponent's presence.
:Colin "Fuzz" Jennings: He's magic Al, he's like a Mexican Harry Potter!
:"Big" Al Mulligan: I'm beginning to think that this kid is the luckies man alive. I mean, he's been fighting Reeves hammer and tongs, and he's not dead yet... What gives?[/i]
Santo takes the time to adjust to the surroundings once more, straightening his mask on his face once more and pulling the string tight where it had been loosened earlier by Reeves. Satisfied, the high flier picks up the pace once again, never being in one place for too long. He dashes across the ring and leaps onto the second ring rope. He springboards off the second rope and Moonsaults back across the ring, coming to land on top of his winded opponent. He hits the move with enough momentum to end up in a standing position once more, and before Reeves had any time to react, he was already bounding into the ropes on the opposite side of the ring. He rebounds back toward Reeves, before tucking into a forward roll. He rolls the last few feet before acrobatically springing up into the air once more and splashing across the torso of the GHW veteran.
The quick barrage of moves leaves Reeves reeling, his already winded body worse for wear once more. Feeling that he has enough to snatch a victory, Santo once again hooks the leg of his opponent and the ref once again slides into position. "1... 2..."
Once more, the ref's hand had barely left the mat for the second time before Reeves kicks out again, this time with less power, jut launching an arm into the air, so that his shoulder lifts up off the mat. Santo shakes his head with frustration as he realizes that the match must go on, wondering what it will take to finish his opponent off. To find the answer, Santo rolls out of the ring with ease, flicking up the apron of the ring to search for the treasures hidden beneath.
:"Big" Al Mulligan: Again, Reeves kicks out. He just won't stay down. I guess we are about to figure out how this masked clown wields a weapon.
:Colin "Fuzz" Jennings: Well, why else would he be searching under the ring? He's not down there for the view, perhaps he lost his contact lenses... No, he's out there for a bit of steel chair "how-dee-doo".
:"Big" Al Mulligan: This could be his biggest mistake of the night...[/i]
When Santo pulls his arms out from underneath the confines of the ring, he is holding a large wooden stick. It wobbles in the air as he pulls the whole length out and holds it up int the air. With another cry of "Arriba!" he snaps the stick in half over his knee, clutching at one half with each hand. Loaded in both fists, Mascaras rolls back into the ring, just in time to see his unsuspecting opponent staggering to his feet. Reeves sees Santo coming across the ring, and sees the weapons in his hands, keeping his eyes trained on the two stick-halves, as the Mexican approaches him.
Santo raises one of his hands above his head, swinging the stick at his opponent, who simply dodges out the way with the utmost of ease. Reeves smiles at the feeble attempt, also dodging the second swing with the other hand. What he does not see is Santo's boot swing out. He does not see the kick until it hits him. Masceras, using the weapons as a distraction, kicks his opponent across the back of his already injured right knee. The howl of pain lets him know that the foot had found its target, and Reeves had already started hobbling again before the second strike buckles the knee from underneath him. The GHW veteran's leg gives way and he collapses down onto one knee, leaving himself wide open for a third strike. The third blow comes from one of the sticks, Santo winding it up behind his head and swinging it down like a sword atop Reeves' head. The resounding crack of wood meeting skull snaps the stick clean in half and sees Reeves fall to the mat once more. Santo tosses what is left of the stick away, holding the one remaining half up high in victory. The crowd, torn between their support for the newcomer, rally behind the man, as cries of "Ole" echo around the arena.
:Colin "Fuzz" Jennings: Good God Almighty! He almost took Reeve's head off with that. I felt that from here.
:"Big" Al Mulligan: I must admit, that was smart thinking by the Mexican Mystery Man. He knew that Reeves would focus on the weapons at hand, so used them as a distraction to further attack that wounded knee of his. Then, well, the rest you could see for yourself.
:Colin "Fuzz" Jennings: And feel... I'm still pulling splinters of wood from my hair after that wooden stick disintegrated at the hands of the newcomer![/i]
Santo eyes up his opponent once more, looking at his handwork, at the dark welt forming across the forehead of Reeves. His opponent is curled in an almost fetal position, clutching at his injured knee while the Mexican rolls in the momentum given to him at last.

Reeves uses the southern ring ropes to pull himself up to his feet as the Luchador is on the opposite side of the ring waiting for him to stand. As soon as Reeves is up onto his feet Santo charges toward him with his right arm extended for a clothesline. He drives his arm right into Reeves’ throat and uses his left hand to catch hold of the top rope to prevent himself from going over. Reeves falls backward over the top rope but manages to hold onto the middle rope. He pulls himself back up onto the apron as Santo unknowingly turns his back as he runs toward the northern ropes. He rebounds off of the ropes back toward the southern side where Reeves is on the apron.
“Big” Al Mulligan: This is going to be a nasty collision!
Colin “Fuzz” Jennings: It’s not going to be pretty!
The Sketch Kid uses the ropes to pull himself in and leap off of the top rope into the ring. He twists to his right with his right arm extended. The arm gets driven right into Masceras’ jaw with a loud cracking sound. Reeves drags himself on top of his opponent because he has too much pain in his leg to keep the match going even though he never intended to. 1…2…Santo uses his legs and head to bridge out so Reeves rolls off of him and rests right above his head. Santo remains the bridge as he pushes his feet off the ground and falls forward right onto Reeves’ body. 1…2…Reeves performs a bridge of his own with his leg and neck muscles. The Luchador does not fall for his own trick as he swipes out Reeves’ right leg with his left arm so Reeves goes back down. 1…2…Reeves gets his left shoulder off of the canvas this time.
“Big” Al Mulligan: You just can’t seem to keep Reeves down, Santo. Take the hint and quit now or else it’s going to be a long night.
Santo stands to his feet and pulls Reeves up with him. Reeves is whipped into the northern ropes. On the return trip, Santo catches hold of him by the waist and twists him around a full three sixty degrees and drops him spine first onto his right knee. The Sketch Kid rolls of the knee of his Latin-based opponent. With his opponent down, Santo climbs up the northeastern turnbuckle. He takes his time balancing himself on the top turnbuckle before he begins to walk along the top northern ring rope at a steady pace. Santo seems to be going for the ropewalk tornado DDT which Reeves had made popular due to the way he uses it. Reeves does not give his opponent the satisfaction as he makes a leap from his kneeling position and grasps the bottom northern ropes and shakes it. This causes the bottom rope to bump into the middle rope and the middle rope bumps into the top rope which makes Masceras slip and fall groin-first onto the top rope.
Colin “Fuzz” Jennings: That didn’t work out so well.
“Big” Al Mulligan: This is another prime example of karma. I warned you, Lucha Libre.
Reeves stands to his feet and grabs Santo by the right arm with his left hand before pulling him over onto his shoulders in a fireman’s carry position. He holds his opponent firmly in position as he opens his mouth and barrels out “It’s over!”. Reeves drops to his right side as he drives Santo’s head deep into the canvas. The impact of drop causes Santo to sit up right after being dropped. Before he could fall back down, Reeves spins in front of him and wraps his right arm around Santo’s head and wraps his legs around the abdomen. The Sketch Kid wrenches the neck and tightens his leg vice as Santo is seated in the middle of the ring being picked apart by the choke hold.
“Big” Al Mulligan: A Death Valley Driver followed up by a Guillotine Choke! This is the kind of stuff that I love to see from Reeves. Even more then his fancy flips and tricks. The best part is his technicality.
The crowd begins a clap for the Mexican superstar but he’s trapped. It would be different if he was not seated but he has no leverage in his current position which prevents him from going anywhere. Santo begins to fade in and out from consciousness as Reeves wrenches and tightens the hold even more. Masceras realizes that if he doesn’t do anything quick he will have to tap out. He reacts instantly as he squeezes his right hand on Reeves’ left kidney which causes him to jerk away from the hold as it’s a natural reaction to such a tactic. Normally this is something that would cause the referee to give the Masceras a lecture but due to the no-disqualification stipulation it’s not needed.
Colin “Fuzz” Jennings: Well, that was a little unexpected by a Luchador but I guess desperation causes people to do crazy things.
“Big” Al Mulligan: Cheap things? No, desperation shows a person’s true colors. We all are seeing what kind of man this Masked Menace is.
Reeves is upset at the underhanded tactic by Santo as he gets in his face. The two are standing nose to nose while talking. The words are not picked up by the camera but it is clear that they’re arguing. Reeves uses his left hand as he pushes Santo back. In a matter of seconds Santo retaliates with a balled right hand to the jaw. Reeves stumbles backward and grips the jaw in pain with both hands. Masceras delivers another shot to Reeves but this time it’s into the temple which knocks The Sketch Kid off of his feet. With Reeves on his back from the punch, Santo leaps in the air and bends his right knee as he comes back down driving it into Reeves’ temple with a knee drop. Santo goes for an instant cover after the drop. 1…2…Reeves gets his right shoulder off of the canvas. The frustration is clearly building on both competitors as they want the end to come but neither can reach it.

From beneath the mask, Santo's mouth curls up into a grimace and a disgruntled moan escapes his lips. He slams both of his palms down onto the mat as he pushes himself to his feet again. The effort taken to kick out of the pin once again had left Reeves a little more sluggish, but he follows the Masked Mystery Man soon after, and once more, the pair are left standing face to face.
They do not stand for long, as both men fling their bodies toward one another, both landing simultaneous right fists on the other. As both men stagger backward, they create a bit of space between them. It is not much, but enough to gather up some speed as the men charge at each other once again, each looking to break the stalemate. Once more, the men simultaneously hurl themselves at the other, both swinging an arm wildly in a Clothesline attempt. Both shots hit at exactly the same time, with both men's flight paths changing dramatically. The heavier Reeves stops in mid air, plummeting to earth like a bird pushed from its nest and forgetting how to fly. Santo, on the other hand, takes a more dramatic route to the mat, the force of the Clothesline flipping him inside-out and turning him upside down. He completes a full somersault before landing with a thud on the waiting canvas, much to the delight of the crowd, who have gotten more than their money's worth out of the mysterious match up so far.
:Colin "Fuzz" Jennings: Holy smokes! Santo Masceras seems to have gotten the worst of that exchange. Reeve's stiff clothesline nearly flipped him "skin-side in"...
:"Big" Al Mulligan: That may be an improvement Fuzz. And this could spell the beginning of the end for the little Mexican jumping bean.
:Colin "Fuzz" Jennings: Sadly, I think you might be right Al. Santo sure is fun to watch, but sooner or later one has to realize that this is the big leagues, and his fairy tale has to be doused with a hefty sense of reality.
It takes some time for Reeves to find his feet, but when he finally does so, he quickly learns that his opponent is still lying across the ring from him, recovering from his trip. The sound of the crowd's ecstatic cheering rings in Reeves' ears as he nears Santo. Before the Mexican has the time to find his feet, Reeves helps him out, grabbing him once again by the mask and lifting him into the air. He pulls his head down underneath his arm as Santo's feet hit the mat once more, locking him almost into a DDT position. Santo readies himself for what is to follow, and when the GHW veteran attempts to lift the masked mystery man off the ground, Masceras hooks his white booted foot around the back of his opponent's calf, stopping the upward thrust. Santo's feet stay firmly on the ground and Reeves is left to go back to the drawing board.
Undeterred, Reeves tries a second time, but gets the same result, with Masceras blocking the lift again. With the pesky luchador almost leading him past the point of embarrassment, Reeves drives his knee up into the gut of his opponent, receiving a confirming "oomph" sound, as the air escapes from the Mexican's body. A second knee drives Masceras into the air, Reeves driving his opponent into the center of the ring. With his opponent finally set up and unable to muster any defense from the stiff knees, reeves twists the Mexican Mystery Man's body into a Corkscrew Neckbreaker, drilling him almost through the mat with a resounding crash that echoes well throughout the packed out GHW Arena.
:"Big" Al Mulligan: 305! Do you smell that Fuzz, it smells like victory!
:Colin "Fuzz" Jennings: Executed with menace, I tell you what, Santo has got to be wondering what in the hell just happened.
:"Big" Al Mulligan: That is, if he is still conscious Fuzz. He could be out cold after a blow to the back of the head like that.[/i]
Reeves listens as the fans cry out, sensing the impending end. He approaches his groaning opponent, once more wrenching him to his feet, lifting one of his knees and hoisting Santo's arm over his own shoulder. The groggy Mexican follows without too much of a protest, looking all but beat as Reeves rolls him over for what expects to be the final time, rolling the Mexican Mystery Man into a Rolling Cradle. The pair roll through the cradle and out the other side, as Reeves flicks his hips and flips Masceras over his shoulder in the final step of his patented "Saving Face".
The luchador flops lifelessly through the move, until he is about to crash into the mat for the last time. As Reeves begins to pre-empt a bridged pinfall at the conclusion of his finisher, Santo flicks his own hips forward, kipping up onto his feet with his shoulders still locked into Reeves' body. The result sends the Sketch Kid soaring over the Mexican's shoulders as he is flung across the ring and lands face first in the corner turnbuckle. The astonished crowd watch as Reeves' own finisher is reversed and Masceras is left standing, groggy and dazed looking a few feet from the turnbuckle.
:Colin "Fuzz" Jennings: What the hell? Where did that come from? I really don't believe this. Somehow, someway, Santo Masceras just reversed Reeves' own finisher.
:"Big" Al Mulligan: Reeves was going for the Saving Face, but that pesky little luchador wormed his way free once more. Look at his eyes, he can't last much longer Fuzz, not after a marathon like this. I bet he can't seal the deal.[/i]
As if to prove Mulligan wrong, Santo shakes his head, closing his eyes in a long blink. When he opens them again, the eyes seem more focused, more full of life and ready for action. Almost instantly, he takes off across the ring, away from where Reeves had landed. He dashes to the opposite rope, rebounding back off it and hurtling at break neck speed back across the canvas. When he reaches within striking distance, he does not aim directly at his opponent, looking instead toward the ropes a few feet away from where Reeves lies, his body now turned to face the oncoming Masked Mystery Man. Santo hits the ropes, spring-boarding off them and whipping his feet around to catch the dazed GHW legend with a swinging knee to the side of Reeves' head.
As to be expected, Reeves topples forward, falling from the turnbuckle to a crumpled heap on the ground underneath it. His hands shoot up instinctively to the impact spot, just behind his temple, while Santo clutches at the turnbuckle, catching it in both hands while he was still in the air. Before his feet had a chance to even touch the ground, he was hauling himself up onto the turnbuckle. He looks down over his opponent, knowing that his next move could make or break his match. Nodding, he decides that he is prepared for what is to follow and readies himself to jump.
