The crowd are on their feet after the previous “fans bring the weapons” between Matthew Oliveira and Dominik Santiago. As the fan’s sadistic and well-used donations are cleared away by the ring crew, the camera pans around the arena to capture the reaction of the live crowd. Many of them are chatting amongst each other and already hailing the previous encounter as an early candidate for match of the night. After orbiting the arena, the camera settles on announcers Colin "Fuzz" Jennings and "Big" Al Mulligan who attempt to fill some time while a stage hand runs down the entrance ramp with a broom to sweep up the shards of glass, thumb tacks and pieces of lego. Colin: Wow! What a match.Big Al: Two guys beating the living daylights out of each other. That’s my kind of match, FuzzColin: Well it doesn’t stop there as next up we have the GHW debut of former EVPW Television Champion Haven “Wolverina” Cassidy as she takes on GHW Hall of Famer; Skull. As Colin finishes, the arena lights fade out to a dim red glow and the words It Came From Hell appear on the big screen in bold, dripping, blood-red letters. The letters slowly drip off the titantron until it is once again pitch black, bathing the arena in darkness. Suddenly the lights return and the crowd jump to their feet as a shrill, high pitched laugh echoes around the arena, followed by “Sweet Dreams” by Probot which signals the arrival of “The Pureblood”. The crowd are split down the middle, half cheering the superstar due to the respect they have for him and half booing him for his previous wrongdoings. Skull finally steps out onto the stage wearing his usual gothic inspired ring gear underneath a long, black, hooded cloak. His face is hidden behind his long, matted, locks but beneath this he is wearing his signature smirk and dark rings of eyeliner around his cold eyes. As he strides down the entrance ramp, red pyrotechnics shoot up and down each side of it and form an arc, creating the image that he is stepping straight out of Hell. Charlie Coors: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is a singles match set for one fall. Introducing the first competitor, from The Depths of Hell, weighing in at 224lbs. He is “The Pureblood” Skull. As he reaches the bottom of the ramp Skull climbs up the ring steps, pausing momentarily at the top to scan the crowd before vaulting over the top rope and into the ring. Once inside the ring, Skull climbs up onto the turnbuckle to taunt the fans then reaches into his cloak and pulls out a small silver flask. Most of the crowd groan, knowing what is coming next. “The Pureblood” simply smirks, unscrewing the top and drinking from it before spitting the red viscous liquid out over his head and posing as it rains down on him. Big Al: Still the same Skull then. Not much has changed.Colin: This is Skull’s first match since he retired in October and it doesn’t look like he’s lost a step in the 5 months he’s been away.Big Al: Well he’ll need to bring his A-game if he wants to beat Wolverina. Lets bring up the Tale of the Tape.Skull | Tale of the Tape | Haven Cassidy | "The Pureblood" | Alias | "Wolverina" | The Depths of Hell | Home Town | Blair, Nebraska | 28 | Age | 22 | 6'0" | Height | 5'8" | 224lbs | Weight | 150lbs | Technician with Lucha influence | Fighting Style | All-Rounder with an emphasis in aerial artistry |
Colin: As you can see from the graphic on your screens, Skull has the obvious size advantage over Haven but this will be no difference to her as she is used to wrestling larger opponents. Skull also has the experience edge but Haven brings the youth fire that could prove to be the X-factor.Big Al: Both Fighty fighty persons are capable aerialists and like to take it to the skies but whereas Haven is an all-rounder, Skull is more of a technician and he'll be looking to ground Haven and systematically wear her down.As his entrance theme comes to its conclusion, Skull rests in the turnbuckle and waits for his opponent to arrive. The anticipation is almost unbearable to stand for Wolverina's adoring fans, even in the face of her rather uncharacteristic behavior in the "Battle Within" promo. They press close to the railings, their bodies brimming over the top with hands already outstretched. Their wait is suddenly over as the lights dim a little bit and some new music hits the PA system.Lyrics: "Define your meaning of war To me it's what we do when we're bored I feel the heat comin off of the blacktop And it makes me want it more Because I'm hyped up, outta control If it's a fight I'm ready to go I wouldn't put my money on the other guy If you know what I know that I know
It's been a long time coming And the tables' turned around Cause one of us is goin' One of us is goin' down I'm not runnin', it's a little different now Cause one of us is goin' ONE OF US IS GOIN' DOWN!!!"Coors: And his opponent, making her G!H!W! debut, she hails from Blair, Nebraska, and weighs in tonight at 150 pounds. GHW gives you the former EVPW TV Champion, and YOUR Princess, WOLVERINA!The lights return to normal and the woman is seen atop the ramp. Her back is turned toward us all, arms up and out in her signature crucifix pose. As expected, the cheers drown out anything important the commentating crew are saying at this point. Her music may have changed to something more edgy, perhaps to go along with her new attitude, but her attire remains the same:Lyrics: "Define your meaning of fun IS it fucking, drugging, or guns I feel the heat comin' off of the blacktop So get ready for another one Let's take a trip down memory lane The words circling in my brain You can treat this like another all the same But don't cry like a bitch when you feel the pain
It's been a long time coming And the tables' turned around Cause one of us is goin' One of us is goin' down I'm not runnin', it's a little different now Cause one of us is goin' ONE OF US IS GOIN' DOWN!!!"As she makes her way down the ramp there's something different about her. The heavily dimpled smile is absent, replaced by one that is hard to read. Her brows are furrowed downward, unladylike, seemingly unhappy about something despite being in a PPV match on GHW. Most noticeable of all is that she hasn't tagged a single hand since marching down the path to the ring. At ringside, she suddenly stops and looks in at her opponent, casting a perplexing poker face to mess with him.Lyrics: "This is hardly worth fighting for But it's the little petty shit that I can't ignore With my fist in your face, and your face on the floor It'll be a long time comin' But you got the message now Cause I was never goin' Yeah, you're the one that's going down!
One of us is going down
I'm not runnin', it's a little different now Cause one of us is goin' ONE OF US IS GOIN' DOWN!!!
One of us is going down "Her music cuts off as she rolls into the ring and seems a bit pacey and agitated, ready to explode.Ding Ding DingTBCB Skull.

The sound of the bell echoes around the arena, signalling the beginning of the match. Skull and Wolverina both spring into action, circling around each other in the centre of the ring and waiting for the other to make the first move. Wolverina’s impatience is clearly visible on her face and she is about to throw the first punch until Skull stretches his arms skyward, inviting Haven to lock up with a Greco-Roman knuckle lock. Wanting to prove she can match strength with her opponent, Wolverina accepts the challenge and the two lock fingers. Skull easily takes the early advantage, using his strength to bend the former Television champion’s wrists back and force her down onto her knees. The fairly evenly split fans on the outside begin an small chant of “Wol-ver-i-na” in an attempt to help the fallen warrior get back to her feet but it has little effect, either because Skull is too strong or because Haven ignored it.
Colin: This seems to be a different Wolverina than the one we’re used to, Al. Where’s that signature smile or happy personality? She didn’t even acknowledge the fans as she came down the ramp.
Big Al: This is the big leagues, Fuzz. You only get to make one first impression and Wolverina doesn’t want to lose her debut her in GHW. She’s facing a Hall of Famer she’s right to be taking this seriously.
As the “Wolverina” chant begins to die out, Skull relieves some of the pressure to allow Haven to get back up to her feet so that he fan inflict some damage on her. This proves to be opening she was looking for, however, as once she is back on her feet, she spins around 180 degrees, turning her back to The Pureblood and crossing his arms over as she does. From here she uses all of her available strength to throw Skull over her shoulder with a snapmare-like manoeuvre, slamming his back hard into the canvas. The Pureblood gets back up to his feet, making a mental note not to fall for that trick again. His opponent merely cracks her knuckles, her pokerface still hiding any trace of emotion.
Colin: The deceptive strength of Wolverina on display there, allowing her to break free of Skull’s test of strength.
Big Al: This is the first time these two have faced eachother. They’re still in the process of feeling each other out and formulating their game plans.
The two adversaries once again face off against eachother in the centre of the ring. The Pureblood goes back to the well with another knuckle lock, this time stretching Wolverina’s arms out to her sides in a crucifix position. He places his head on her shoulder, thrusting his bloodstained hair into her face then uses his upper body strength push against her, forcing her to bend backward. Just at the point where she would lose balance if he wasn’t holding onto her, he reaps her legs out from under her and drives her hard into the mat. While still maintaining the knuckle lock, he calls the referee over to make the three-count but before he can even get a one-count, Wolverina gets her right shoulder up. Skull forces it back down and goes for the pin again but this time she gets her left shoulder up. Changing tact slightly, he decides to shift his legs to place more weight on her but as soon as he takes the pressure off her for a second, she rolls over, turning the tables and placing The Pureblood in the pinning predicament. Knowing she won’t get the count this early, she picks her opponent up and places him in a front face lock while she contemplates her next move. This moments hesitation proves to be all Skull needs as he takes her off guard by driving her backward and spearing into the corner. She cries out as her back collides with the turnbuckle but her opponent shows her no mercy. With his hands still around her waist he allows her to stumble forward a little, then takes her over his head with a snapping Northern Lights Suplex. As soon as her body hits the mat, he bridges his body and goes for another pinfall.

Wolverina kicks out!
Colin: Near fall there for Skull who seems to be firmly in control in this early part of this match. It seems his tactic so far is to just go for the pins whenever possible.
Big Al: That’s textbook technical wrestling, Fuzz. Hold for hold, catch as catch can. That’s why he’s called The Pureblood, he’s a wrestling pedigree.
Colin: Maybe so, but you’d need to wear down someone as tough as Wolverina a lot more before you even think about going for a pin.
Both Fighty fighty persons get back up to their feet and once again Skull raises his arms, offering another knuckle lock. Clearly having none of it this time, Haven simply nails him in the gut with the toe of her boot, causing The Pureblood to double over in agony. She continues her all-business approach by grabbing hold of his pants with one hand and his blood-soaked hair with the other and throwing him into the corner of the ring. With nothing to stop his momentum, Skull goes straight through the ropes and collides shoulder first with the unforgiving steel ring post. The Pureblood rolls to the outside, hitting the ground in a heap and clutching his left shoulder in pain.
Colin: Oh my God! Skull could be seriously hurt. Did you see the way he hit that ring post?
Big Al: Say what you will about Wolverina’s new attitude but it’s certainly effective. Skull may have dominated the early going of this match with his technical expertise but she has certainly turned it around now.
The Pureblood slowly makes it up to a vertical base, using the guard rail for support. Meanwhile, in the ring, Wolverina is ready and waiting for him. She sprints toward the opposite set of ropes then rebounds off of them, charging toward her opponent before clearing the top rope in one bound and crashing into Skull with her signature no hands plancha. The fans go crazy, applauding the action while Skull and Wolverina remain down on the outside. Seeing both competitors down, the referee begins the 10 count for one or both of them to return to the ring by.

By the count of five Wolfie has rose, rolling under the bottom rope and into the ring as count six is bellowed. Opting out of exiting to restart the count and fight valiantly, as we have come to expect from Haven, she merely stays inside the ring and gets to her vertical base. The ref yells "7" as Wolverina smirks and motions for him to count a little faster. Skull is one tough cookie though, and slides under the bottom rope as number 8 is thundered. Upon scrambling to his feet, his nimble opponent has already kicked things up a notch. Scurrying through the ropes to the outside edge of the ring, she leaps atop the northern most rope, and uses it to catapult herself back into the ring. Skull's luck proves unenviable as he spins right into her line of fire. Snapping her right leg out and around, her tough, muah tia educated skin slams against the left side of his head, right at the temple. For the splittest of seconds his body becomes immobilized, and drops blandly to the canvas. She is right there all over him, pressing her body on top of his and hooking the fear leg, but only gaining a two count for her efforts. She sits back on her knees and cocks a eye at the slow counting ring official and even mutters unsportsmanlike words to him as she rises.
Nonetheless, Haven reaches down and brings her foe up, pelting the same side of his head with stiff forearm shots. The hits seem to rattle him enough for her to set up another move in her ever expanding arsenal. After yet another forearm shiver, Wolverina turns and sets course for the ropes. Her back meets them in a flash, and they rebound her back toward the direction she'd just came. To her shock, however, the Pureblood isn't as loopy as she'd surmised. In fact he is in mid air, his body spinning with his leg hiked out, dialed in for her face. With breathtaking elusiveness, Haven ducks under the erroneous blow and charges toward the opposite set of ropes, looking to turn things back into her favor. After bouncing off of them, she is sent back into the fray like a bottle rocket, only to get metaphorically sawed in half by a spear for the ages! The impact jars her ribs, and turns her body inside out as she flips, landing flat on her front side.
Colin: Have mercy! Good Lord, somebody bring out the Zamboni, Haven's been put on ice! Big Al: For a second there, I thought Skull was a friggin' Transformer or something. He turned himself into a heat seeking missile and blew Wolfie up. Look Colin, he speared her right out of her boot, well, one of them anyway.
Yes, tis true, somehow Wolverina's left boot lies 4 feet from her, apparently either malfunctioning somewhere along the match, or Skull had really speared her clean out of it. All of this is the least of Skull's worries, though. He quickly attempts a pin, and is amazed at the resilience his opponent displays by kicking out at 2 1/2. Undeterred, the 28 year old stands up and back tracks to the buckles, climbing them to the second one. On this perch is where he waits, and waits. Haven finally starts to make her way up, stumbling all over the place like a drunk, clutching her abdominal region as she bends over. This movement places her in perfect position for what Skull had been planning to do already, so he embarks. Vaulting from his elevated position, Skull wraps his arm around the back of her neck as he descends, driving her face-first into the mat as he lands on his back.
Her body lies dormant after the bulldog, prompting the talented middleweight to power her over and into a pinning predicament. Now, more than ever, his confidence radiates as the referee pounds the canvas once, twice, and almost for a third time. The fall is halted, the ring official pointing at the Nebraskan's foot dangling just barely along the bottom rope. Skull cringes at the sight of his victory being revoked on such a lucky little thing, but he quickly removes the distraction in order to carry out another offensive. Plucking the weakened Wonder-Woman from the mat, he stands her straight up and wallops her one good time, knocking her dizzy. Using this as a preparatory act for a bigger move to come, Skull sets it in motion by turning and running toward the near set of ropes. This time he is the one left in shock at seeing his foe not down-and-out as he'd thought. But just like his adversary, Skull ducks a beautiful cross body attempt from Haven, and turns back around to see that the ring adjutant had fell victim to the move. Wolfie rolls off and looks stunned that she'd wiped out the tiny little man, but her attention swiftly returns to her opponent for tonight, Skull, whom is already lurching at her. Knowing that the ref is out, Haven sends a boot up, placing her shin right between the Pureblood's testicle region, immediately dropping him to the surface in a fetal position. For the first time in her career, a few boos are heard for her, ones that she pays little to no attention to as she walks toward her displaced boot. Instead of placing her foot inside it and putting it back on, she reaches down and grasps it with her hand, picking it up. Those viewing from the stands and at home are left speechless for a moment, not wanting to believe what Haven may be thinking of doing. Their fears are realized sooner than they'd wanted, as she hastily explodes across the ring as Skull clammers to a sluggish stand. The heel end of the boot careens into his temple, carrying all of her 150 pound force behind it. His head jolts oddly, his body following suit until he's prone on the mat, all inertia inert. Alas, finally, she puts the boot on as she gives her evil deed a once over with a smirk, a seductive smirk.
Colin: What in the world has gotten into that woman? This is NOT the Wolfie I, no WE, grew to love so quickly! Something has happened to her, maybe in her personal life, I dunno, but what she just did was wrong. Big Al: I don't know, maybe she's finally realized that role models only exist in the movies and fairy tales. She's just trying to get the job done, earn her paycheck, cause you do know you get paid more for winning than losing, right?
