Tuesday Night Triumph - June 8th, 2010
Live from The GHW Arena in Boston, Massachusetts
------------------------------------------------------
Dark Match - Triple Threat
Chris Black vs. Young Gangsta vs. John Hetfield
Winner: Young Gangsta
Rawb Sez: Johnny, you didn't take a single move in your post and you destroyed the announcers' table in a fucking dark match. Gangsta, you were solid as always.
Dark Match - Singles
Anthony Andrews vs. Mighty Man Millson II
Winner: Mighty Man Millson II
Rawb Sez: Well, Andrews didn't post. It's a shame, too, since he's one of the promising guys. Hopefully it's his internet screwing up again.
Singles Match
GreenSpark (with Chris Pyro) vs. Henry Cooper
Winner: Henry Cooper
Rawb Sez: Matt invalidated GreenSpark's post for breaking the 72-hour rule, which basically makes Cooper the winner by default, but I'll read his post anyway to see how good he is... I just read one paragraph and now I want to head to KFC, so I guess that's a compliment.
Brass Ring Ladder Match
(Suspended above is a literal brass ring)
AJ Scally vs. Jason Murphy
Winner: AJ Scally
Rawb Sez: Alright, normally it's bad when one action post beats two. HOWEVER, it's not because of writing ability, and you seem to have a decent grasp on things, so this is easily fixable (AKA I'm not too lazy to train you myself). Jason, just describe moves a bit better, putting some words into the execution as well instead of just the set-up. Also, a thing that I'm big on while judging gimmick matches is, well, the gimmick of the match. There's the cake and icing for you, now one of the candles is that you used the word "heel" in your post. Don't use smark terms, please. This match was fun to read and a good appetizer for the rest of the card.
Singles Match
Human Wreckingball vs. Chris Pyro
Winner: Human Wreckingball
Rawb Sez: After careful deliberation between Matt and I, we've decided to award this one to HWB after all. The 72-hour rule is an advantage that should mean something, and really the only way to decide this match. Everything was really close, probably because it short post versus short post.
No Disqualifications
Skull vs. The Proeliator
No contest
Rawb Sez: Originally put double count-out, but then Scally saw the results and pointed out to me that this was a no-DQ match. xD
Singles Match
Santo Mascaras vs. Tommy Musashi
Winner: Santo Masceras
Rawb Sez: Coming into this match, I knew it would be an old-school treat. And it was good. You two are always fun to read.
Hardcore Match
Eddie Hall vs. Jaggeroth (with Grimy C. Whiskey)
Winner: Jaggeroth
Rawb Sez: Jaggeroth, your work lately has been AWESOME as long as it's been typed while sober. Eddie, you showed some improvement and the rust seems to be finally off for you as well.
MAIN EVENT
6-Man Tag Team Match
Metal Dragon, Dominik Santiago, & Wolverina vs. Ryan Hughes, Darth That Guy, & Alex Night
Winners: Dragon, Santiago, and Wolverina
Matt Sez: I swore this was already posted, but I never checked, so yeah. All six in this match were incredibly gifted RPers and I was happy about the participation. I would say that Dominik and Ryan were about tied, so it really came down to the Dragon-Night contrast that really drove it home for the face team -but to give Alex his due, he's really starting to get some shine on in the last few weeks.
