Just to get up to speed, here's part one.
The car journey was uneventful, besides an irate old woman lowering her window to give Hughes a tongue-lashing over his speed. It made no difference that Ryan was below the speed limit, old women always complain about something- he just happened to be stuck at a red light with one. Under a sea of expletives and threats, Hughes continued following the sat nav, despite the continued criticism of the mechanism. After many twists and turns through the city streets, the ex champion finds himself in a more leafy section of society. Obviously for the nicer, non-gangsta people, Ryan thought. There was less turns to get through now, and more long stretches of road. Eventually, he finds himself in the late afternoon shadow of a nice, homely building. Exactly the building he was looking for. When the action moves to inside though, the initial harmony is gone. And so is the person he is looking for.
“What do you mean, discharged?!”
“I mean exactly that, Mr. Hughes. He's been gone a while.”
“By a while, what do you me-”
“At least over a month now.”
“WHAT!?”
Hughes pounds his fists on the reception desk, scaring the wits out of the otherwise charming woman receptionist. Lowering his tome to a sadistic his, his face closes in on hers.
“Where is he?”
“I-I'm afraid I can't say, sir. He asked for confidentiality. At least for the time being.”
“I'm feeling generous, so I'll give you a second chance. Where. Is. He.”
“I-I-I can't do it-”
Hughes pushes his face to within mere inches of the receptionist. She whimpers slightly in her chair, and the pretty young thing has nowhere to run when Ryan repeats himself once more.
“I am sure that such a pretty young thing like you will not want to get... hurt.”
He looks down- her shirt is unbuttoned slightly, so you can see quite a lot of cleavage, especially from his viewpoint. He licks his lips slightly, before speaking again.
“Now what do you say sweet thing... third time lucky?”
He grabs her cheeks with his hand, forcing her head up and down in a nodding motion.
“Now... tell me where he is!”
“He's in Mexico, meeting somebody. Chihuahua to be exact...”
“Good girl.”
In a state of relief he kisses her trembling forehead. Turning on his heel, Hughes pushes through the double doors, and drives his car in to the sunset- Chihuahua, to be exact.
