Tuesday Night Triumph: H-Games Semifinals - August 17th, 2010
Still live from an Undisclosed Location just outside of Buffalo, New York
------------------------------------------------------
Sawmill Match
Matt Violence vs. Dustin Delta
Winner& Advancing: Matt Violence
- Opening match with quite a bit of spots from both sides, kinda cool to see unadulterated violence this time around so I'm in a rare mood. I'd recommend Matt utilizes a bit more commentary in-match, it adds a bit of fat to posts. Delta, I was certainly impressed by this showing, but would recommend you work a bit on flow itself, as some sentences contradicted others about what was happening, making it unclear. However, you certainly have a strong mindset of weapon wrestling. In the future, try to give your opponent a bit more offense as well.
Hangman’s Horror Match
Mighty Man Millson II vs. Desperado
Winner & Advancing: Desperado
- Really gross situation, a 48-hour rule promo against a entrance/match combination. I don't feel right giving either side the nod, but with this tournament there needs to be a winner. Based on the amount of time allotted between Millson's 48 hours, and the time Desperado's reply was posted, the most just result is to go with Desperado here. Call it scheduling issues, I guess.
2/3 Light Tube Log Cabin Match
Darth That Guy vs. Damien Carter
Winner & Advancing: Darth That Guy
C-4 Casket Match
Vladimir Strife vs. Bud Whiser
Winner & Advancing: Vladimir Strife
- A bit difficult to take in some of Bud's material with grammar, shame this didn't go a few more rounds.
GHW King of the Deathmatch Championship
Double-Play Shattered Dreams Match
Skull vs. James Walker vs. Shawn Dreamer
Winner and STILL GHW King of the Deathmatch: James Walker
Also Advancing: Skull
- A surprisingly large window of opportunity towards the end of this contest, especially since it could have gone either way. Shawn went without a post, so that was the easy part, but Skull's efforts will not go unrecognized as his second placing brings him into the final "pre-championship" round.
