-Hours after the end of this week installment of Triumph, the camera scans the area and shows a wide range of varying vehicles in a parking lot. As it turns to canvas the scene a sign is revealed. "Dick's Bar and Grill", a sports bar somewhere in New York. The camera slowly moves toward the glass doors and inside. The first person shown is a bald man talking to a blonde bombshell at the bar, he stretches out his hand to her as if just now introducing himself. The woman smiles and takes it as he begins to speak, his accent says Canadian, but it's not as thick as one would expect.-
Bald Guy: Name's Johnny. Johnny Dreamer. And you miss are?
-The young woman blushes and smiles widely.-
Blonde woman: April. April Van Buran.
-Dreamer smirks and releases her hand.-
Dreamer: That is a beautiful name my dear. So what brings a woman like you to a place like this?
April: Just came from a Glory and Honor Show. What a night?
Dreamer: Is that so? -He stops and rolls his eyes.-
April: Hold on Dreamer... You wouldn't be related to those two brothers that just recently started fighting are you?
-Dreamer shakes his head and orders another Bourbon.-
Dreamer: That's complicated.
April: How so? It's either you are or are not.
-Dreamer pulls his drink to him and takes a sip, still shaking his head. He is saved by his phone ringing in his pocket. He pulls it out and notices the name on the caller ID. Janet Trinity.-
Dreamer: Excuse me... I have to take this.
-April walks off obviously annoyed that her question was being ignored.-
Dreamer: Perfect timing as usual.
-The voice on the other end is muffled.-
Dreamer: How should I know? I just got back in the states. I'm jet lagged, feeling a pretty good buzz to be honest, and about to go to a business I thought, just like the good ol' US of A I was finished with.
-Dreamer stops long enough for the person on the other end to react.-
Dreamer: Don't I always? Even though I don't get why every time those two go at it I have to play peace keeper.
-Dreamer nods as they speak again, taking another drink of his Bourbon-
Dreamer: Why not let them kill one another and get it over with?
-Dreamer pulls the phone away from his ear as the volume from the other end goes up real quick. He sticks a finger in his ear and wiggles it before bringing the phone back to his ear.-
Dreamer: You are so lucky you're my mother's sister.
-Dreamer's jaw drops to the next remark.-
Dreamer: He did what? With who?
-Dreamer chuckles a little and shakes his head.-
Dreamer: Is that legal? Kinda breaks the patient doctor rules doesn't it?
-The voice on the other end says something else.-
Dreamer: Shawn is teaming with a woman? Are you kidding me? Never thought I'd hear that.
-Dreamer again stops and listens.-
Dreamer: Sounds like they're both doing alright to me. Now if we could get them past this sibling rivalry thing it'd be better. Times like this I'm glad I'm an only child.
-The voice says something else.-
Dreamer: No techinically I'm still a bastard. No wonder I'm the black sheep in this vermin filled pit we call a family.
-Dreamer starts tapping his closed fist on the bar.-
Dreamer: Hey, it was Gramps that booted her out when she was three months along. Plus can you blame her, drunken one night stands in Ireland no turn out well.
-Dreamer stops and listens, still tapping the bar with his fist.-
Dreamer: You called me. If you didn't want to hear from me you woudn't have.
-Dreamer punches the bar hard one time and everyone close by stops and stares. Dreamer cups the phone in his hand and adresses the situation-
Dreamer: What you've never seen an Irish-Canadian talking on a cell-phone in a bar before? Get your asses moving.
-He returns to his phone call.-
Dreamer: As I said I'm doing this out of respect for my mother, eventhough, you were too good to come to her funeral. After I help with this never, ever, contact me again.
-Dreamer hangs up his phone and looks to go back to his drink. He shakes his head and and takes that final swig before slamming a twenty on the bar and walking away. The camera follows as he passes through the door and out into the parking lot.-
