The scene opens with Charlie Coors, who stands tentatively with a microphone in his pale hands. He stands by what seems to be a shutter like you would see on a garage, which indicates that he is in a parking lot of sorts. The area is lit only by the flashing lighttubes above, and the dim street lights a few yards away. As soon as the segment starts, Charlie gives the camera a wry smile, and addresses the viewer.
“As you all saw, Ryan Hughes was attacked by his EVO Rookie Dustin Delta last week, in what seemed to be an act of sheer disrespect to the veteran. I have been told that our General Manager is arriving imminently, and- well here he is!”
The cameraman spins on the spot, as a black Ferrari drives in to view. The engine doesn't stop when the car does however; Smarky Smark just steps gracefully out of the car, with his secretary Erin Rajkowski stepping from the sports car seconds later. Immediately, Charlie bustles over to the GM, almost invading his personal space by shoving the microphone right in his mush. Unperturbed, Smarky nods at Coors, a signal for the young man to speak.
“Mr. Smark, you told me you have thoughts on the whole Delta/Hughes debacle-”
“Of course I have thoughts on the matter. I'm the General Manager of TNT! It's my job to have thoughts on the matter!”
Charlie backtracks slightly, wondering whether Smarky was in a foul mood. The Shaman of Sci-Fi chuckles at the nervousness of the interviewer, and leans in to the mic to continue.
“But yes, I have thoughts, ones that I really want to share with the GHW Universe. You see, when I witnessed a former GHW Champion and a future Hall of Famer in Ryan Hughes get beaten down unprovoked by a freaking ROOKIE, I was pretty damn disgusted. So was Erin, wasn't you?”
“Yes sir, I was pretty damn disgusted.”
“She was pretty damn disgusted. And no one in GHW deserves to see the product they put out, and feel 'pretty damn disgusted' by it. This show, as well as any wrestling show in the universe, has a system. You work your way to the top. You fight fairly, and you reap the rewards soon enough. But this latest issue makes me realise that that isn't enough for these EVO Rookies. They don't even deserve their own show! And that is why I got GHW EVO pulled off the air. If you can't play nice, you can't have nice things.”
“Don't worry. The EVO tournament is ongoing. We WILL find our next Apex of Potential. It just so happens we will be finding it in a different way. Tonight, every EVO Rookie I can get ahold of will fight. But thy won't just fight anyone. They will fight GHW Royalty. They will fight men that have proven their names in this business. And if there is anything left of them, they will do it again! And again! And again! And when it comes around to Blood Runs Cold next month, they will fight eachother, and the last man standing will become the winner of EVO. That way, they will deserve it.”
“Thank you for your-”
Charlie stops, realising that the rest of his sentence will fall on deaf ears- Smarky simply turns and walks away, leaving Coors holding his mic with a half-hanging jaw.

Notes: Yes, we have reached the stage where the rookies have been cut down enough to throw everyone on TNT. The competition is still ongoing... just in a different way.
