Tuesday Night Triumph - 11th January 2011 Live from the GHW Arena in Boston, Massachusetts!====================================== Submission Only Match Seth vs. The UnknownWinner: The Unknown Tag Team Match Mighty Man Millson II & Bubba vs. Kahlan Clarkson & Amanda BrooksWinner: The Wannabes Singles Rematch Barta Bull vs. Alex BowenWinner: Alex Bowen Notes: Nice bit of storytelling by you guys. But if this was a real match, I would have given the fall to Barta. Despite both of you not writing much in your posts, Barta had the better quality. But yeah, definitely should attempt to bulk up your posts if you want to scale the dizzy heights of the upper midcard. Alex, as a newbie to match writing (as you said), you grasp the physics well, but as said earlier, more morsels of RP goodness needed. Also, try to avoid using the big signature/finishers in your first post. It will add to the realism, and keep the reader hooked. Solid stuff from the both of you though. ~GHW Television Championship – #1 Contendership~Street Fight Matt Violence vs. Mystery OpponentWinner: Vedas Notes: Sad that there wasn't a fight put up by Matt V, but we all go through periods where the muse goes missing, right? No DQ Match Kabul w/ Pavor Nocturnus vs. Dominik SantiagoWinner: Draw Notes: Boooooooooo. As is life. -MAIN EVENT- ~GHW King of the Deathmatch Championship~ Extreme Elevation Deathmatch Hayden HardKore © vs. Dustin DeltaWinner and NEW King of the Deathmatch Champion: Dustin Delta Notes: This was one of the best matches I have had the pleasure of judging since becoming General Manager. Quite honestly, I was hooked throughout, by both of you. There was absolutely nothing to choose between the both of you, and that shows how far Dustin has come since joining GHW. The way I had it judged was Hayden beat Dustin in the first post, while Dustin prevailed in the second. So I got a second opinion. Then a third. Then a fourth. All the feedback I was getting clashed over who won. So with this in mind, I read Hayden's first post against Dustin's second. Once again, nothing to choose. I don't know what it is that made me pick Dustin really. You could say it managed to grip me, as a reader and a wrestling fan. Be assured, this match is an early candidate for MotY, and if this is the standard I should expect, then 2011 is going to be one humdinger of a year. Now, go and celebrate the biggest win of your career, young Delta-san.

Oh my god! I was anticipating these results all day! Hayden, I gotta hand it to you. There is not a trace of doubt in my mind that this was the roughest match Ive ever competed in here in GHW. So here's to you! ^_^

Best match I have competed in in a long, long time. Congrats, you deserve it. Now go and write an ending equally as epic. I really don't care if Hayden leaves the arena in an ambulance.

It was a good read guys but I feel the wrong decision was made. I felt Hayden's posts were more griping and descriptive and I think Delta blew a few spots too earlier. Also I couldn't picture the Valkyries spot at all, even after re-reading it a few times. Also I felt Hayden's spots were more well thought out. I still don't know who else had a qualified opinion (staff, former judges etc) who read the match, beside Ryan and Martin (2/4).
One more thing if you can't split a match, make it a tie or draw, if you don't know why someone won, then they really shouldn't have won. Again I feel the wrong decision was made. This has happened to me in another fed before.
A kudos to Hayden for taking this controversial result well.
Take this for what you will, I just felt like I should say something.

Well, opinion is opinion at the end of the day, and believe me this was a close fought match. I knew someone would be unsatisfied with the end result, but these things happen.
EDIT: Where I said didn't know, I meant to say "I can't explain without rambling in to detail".

Its ok really. Dustin deserves it and after a performance that really pushed me to the limit, I really don't mind losing to him. I've still got one title hehe

As I said before kudos to you for taking this well. But you still should have two. If fair to lose to DD, when he actually legit beats you. But I guess I reiterate what RK said, shit (now matter how shit) happens.

I would have felt bad with a win. I left the post till the last minute, got an extension, then used the time to write one that was much larger than DD's last post. I'm not cut up at all about it.
Quote me in all my infinite wisdom. This is going into Hayden's auto-biography "I don't fed for titles, I do it for the storylines, the character developments, the allies and foes we meet along the way. Titles are nice, but they are secondary to why we are all here."

Yeah, they are, but it's still the wins and losses which fuel characters, directs stories and gives you material. Done for whatever reason some people are always gonna disagree, I myself had Hayden ticked as the winner but ofcourse Hughes and people who votes his way would have been on the other side disagreeing if it had gone that way. It's just one of those things.
BTW, my shit happens was a jocular response to MMM's announcement of The Wannabes reformation.

Like RK said, it wasn't a case of everyone voting Dustin. People voted all over the place. On a different day with a different group of judges, Hayden could've retained. But for the time being, Dustin won, and when even HAYDEN himself is satisfied with the result, you know you are kinda beating a dead horse.
