Yeah, this was coming for a long time.
After my match with Metal Dragon, I will be calling it quits in terms of active RPing. It's been pretty much set in stone since New Years, that I would kick of 2011 for GHW with a marquee match, and leave it at that. Well... I was half right. I got the match I wanted most as my final swansong, but fate shovelled shit in my face in terms of writing a match that would be a great send-off. You know the story, write 11k, virus hits, you do a scan, files are gone. Yeah, that happened to me.
It's pretty fucking shitty that this is the way my last match would pan out, but alas, it's my last. That one event pretty much sapped me of interest, at least for the time being. Also, booking myself is a bitch. Which is why I made Chip 'n' Nacho EVO hosts/commentators, and decided to put Ryan on the shelf. I had a great last 12 months, what with three World/New Age titles, and the NeXuS Deathmatch to boot, as well as headlining nearly every PPV in 2010. Doing anything else at this moment in time wouldn't satisfy me the way the last years events had.
So thanks to all the guys who I have had godly matches with - Rob, Vlad, Matt O (first single holder of Tag Titles ftw), Dustin even had me in the strap match which was basically the turning point of my career. But of all though, I feel I should give props to Hawkeye, who put me in my first feud in 2008, and pushed me to the fucking moon, making me raise my game week upon week. I didn't win the big one back then, but it was coming. There are others I could thank, but this is on Notepad, and my eyes hurt. xD
So I bid you all adieu, even though I'm still running this place. You ain't got rid of me just yet. But I do leave you with this little number:
