There was a huge fog of apprehension looming around the arena, belonging to the audience who were not as eager as the "Pureblood" to get the bout underway. Hope in the former GHW Champion had dwindled; and in the back of their minds, the defeat and subsuquent beatdown Skull received under the cloack of El Viento stuck around. The crowd couldn't bare to see Skull vanquished, or see Dominik finish his diabolical attacks. Despite the crowd's dread, Skull stood spoiling for a fight; in the eyes of the arena, his confidence was misplaced, but the only thing that kept them cheering, was their total hatred and enmity toward his adversary.
"The Pureblood" leaned up in both relief and preparation, as the lights in the arena began to dim, until the entire building was swallowed in the darkness. Scarstuck by Slayer suddenly hit the P.A. system. As the iconic thrash metal groups hit rips through the arena, the former GHW World Champion's mental preparations came to a halt. By the time the spotlight shines down across the velvet curtains which veil the entryway, the arena's excitement had already dwindled, being replaced with fierce detestation. The electricity in the air was poisoned, leaving the arena consumed with a hate filled atmosphere. The abhorrence is targeted at the man who causes the curtains to flutter; the emerging Assassin.
Charlie Coors: "Introducing his opponent, fighting out of Hollywood, California, he is the former GHW New Age Champion. Otherwise known as “The Lord of the Flies”, and "The Assassin", Ladies and Gentlemen this is…DOMINIK SANTIAGO!”
"Come step inside my hate you know there's nothing to it Step inside my pain you'll never make it through it Once you're sucked into my sado-paradise Lose your mind inside the pleasure lies within your pain"
As his name echoes throughout the arena, Santiago kneels at the apex of the ramp, his head lying carelessly askew, his black locks covering his mug, and his arms stretched across his chest in his trademark pose. As his head comes to straightened position, and his arms come down to his side, the Californian stands before the glaring eyes of the audience. The Assassin snaps his head back, revealing his psychotic grin beneath his shield of hair. The hostile crowd has absolutely no affect on the Assassin, as he commences his methodical stride down to the ring, leading his arms swaying ostentatiously, with his head raised to the sky, demonstrating his pompousness.
Matt Oliveira: "This has to be the first time I've been on the outside of a Santiago match in a long while guys.' Big Al: "But this feels like DeJaVu for us Ollie! Same entrance theme, same dark aura, same Dominik Santiago. I doubt this match will end any differently from their encounter at Dawn of Destruction. Colin Jennings: "I doubt Skull isn't prepared for Santiago tonight Al. He's got his head and heart in the right places, and is more than willing to put Dominik down!" Big Al: "Yeah. So did all the other people who had a similar disposition when they stepped in the ring to face Dom. They've just about all been beaten!" Matt Oliveira: "Despite our battles and differences in the past, I have nothing but respect for Dom as an in ring competitor. As young as he is, and as much as he has accomplished, he's still not reached his potential. Beyond that, there are many reasons why he's heavily despised. Its going to take a lot to beat Dom on a bad night. And you need to be mentally prepared for Dominik like no other competitor. Last month, Skull was not. " Colin Jennings: "Well here's to hoping the story ends differently tonight!"
Drown in my hate you know, you know Brutality's the way of this world Branded and scarred defy, defy A comatose and blind existence Hatred holocaust you see in me Its more than just a way of life I've re-invented the way I relate to this complacent world
Dom ignored the fans on both sides of him, before knee-ing up onto the apron, slowly replacing that very knee with a foot up as he comes to a vertical base along the ropes. He continues along the side of the ring, his eyes peering into the outskirts of the arena as he advances closer to the turnbuckle closest to the camera crew. Shining in the spotlight, the Assassin turns attention to the still camera, burning a hole through the lens with his cold-blooded, blue eyed stare. Dominik's once sinister smile vanished, his face turning into a bitter scowl as he finally made eye contact with his detested rival for the first time in the evening. Dominik approached the referee, pushing him aside, allowing he and his adversary to come face to face, Skull peering into Santiago's cold pupils while Dominik gazed into "The Pureblood's" confident ones. The post match stare down had the crowd, which was somewhat divided on who to root for, cheering and applauding. The tension almost seemed to rise as they leaned on one another's foreheads, both men murmuring obsceneties before being removed by the zebra clad official.
All of life decays Rapes my eyes Screams never silence the pain Death is like an old friend I can't wait to watch you die
The Assassin's theme paned out, and easily became a memory in the back of everyone's mind as the arena began to focus on the two combatants in the ring. The small on the face of the Californian widens, as his gameplan, a severe display of a violent, sadistic assault, races through his twisted mind. The proverbial knife suddenly cuts the tension, as the bell suddenly chimes thrice, signaling the start of the bout.

The two combustible elements advance to the center of the squared hell before locking up in a traditional collar and elbow tie up. The Assassin, quickly exploits his strength and quickness, as he powers Skull back, pushing him into the nearby corner. The referee quickly steps in and begins his 5 count, one which the former New Age Champion finally acknowledges at 4, finally releasing his adversary. Dominik stares at the referee who holds his ground, and with the opportunity set before him; the Californian suddenly takes his thumbs and maliciously drives them into Skull's eyes, tentatively blinding him with his underhanded tactics. With "The Pureblood's" vision impaired, Dominik grapples his blinded foe by his head and leans him over before taking his elbow up and under, driving it into the chin of his antagonist and lifting the former GHW World Champion up with a vicious European Uppercut that shakes Skulls very foundation, whilst sending him staggering back.
With his foe dazed, Santiago rushes to the ropes and bounces off of them before dashing at his opponent. Before he can deliver a vicious blow though, Skull suddenly recuperates before taking to the sky, bringing his knees inward before finally throwing them outward. The soles of his boots clash into the sternum of the incoming Assassin, sending him to canvas supinely.
Colin Jennings: "Skull gains the upperhand just like that. We could have back in fourth action tonight the way this one is started." Matt Oliveira: "I disagree Colin. If been in the ring with both these men, and I know their thought processes. They've gotten a feel for one another, and rest assured, a slow, methodical assault is impeding.!" Big Al: "Hogwash. How do you know that!?" Matt Oliveira: "It's simple... because I know I'm right!"
Skull hastily mounts the supine Santiago, and quickly unloads his fury upon the face of the Lord of the Flies. As the stiff, barborous shots continue to reign down on Dominik, the ref steps in, attempting to subdue Skull who is reluctant to oblige. After a war of words with the ref which the Pureblood is victorious in, Skull takes a moment to stare down at his downed foe, sneering at him with a face full of hatred. As Santiago slowly begins to stir, Skull slowly plods toward him. The Pureblood hadn't been banking on what would happen next, much to the delight of Dominik, who slowly pulls down the ropes as Skull lunges forward, reeling him in. Consequently, the Pureblood is pulled over the cables, crashing down onto the lightly padded surface below with a resounding thud.
Santiago pulls himself up using the ropes for leverage, and surveys the situation as a solemn expression falls upon the face of The Assassin, his demeanor intimating the seriousness of the situation, as his quest for supremacy in GHW begins here. With Dom's antagonist rising to his feet, Dominik leaps onto the top rope, preparing himself for takeoff as he works to gain his footing. Having balanced himself, Santiago suddenly launches off the ropes, diving forward, his body sharply cutting through the atmosphere like a blade piercing flesh. In mid-flight, Santiago contorts his body, arching himself in a somersault motion while simultaneously flipping backward. He plummets down to earth, as he comes to the end of his graceful rotation, crashing down on the head of the former GHW World Champion, rendering both men motionless.
"Corkscrew Shooting Star. When he takes to the skies, Dominik makes sure he connects!" "I've been on the recieving end on many of those. I can tell you one thing, its as painful as it looks." "More importantly, Dominik has regained the upperhand. Just when you think Skull is in full control, the Assassin finds a way-" "He finds a way to emerge victorious, like he's done his entire career. This is the pedigree of a man soon to become a three time New Age Champion Colin!" "So much for un-biased commentary folks!"
