five others. Across from that is another. Adjacent to that, another. Including you, there's twenty-four men amongst these four cages. If you're lucky, you'll get to fight seven of them off when the time comes...but for now, you face off with two of your own to handle. You find yourself spacing-out as you stare at the shine of one of the weapons, until the voice of Charlie Coors booms from the audio system -the hair on the back of your neck going on end as the few thousand in attendance begin to cheer. This could be the day.
"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN...IT IS TIME FOR THE 2011 NEXUS DEATHMATCH!"
An uproar of support rattles your eardrums...
"As per GHW ruling, Round One will commence at the start of the bell. In which the participants will fight until the doors situated in each cell roof will open. Only eight men, two from each cage will advance onto Round Two. There will be NO disqualifications. There will be NO countouts. Every cell door is locked, and there will be NO possibility of interference. G-H-W...LET THEM HEAR IT!"
Another cheer, you look out into the sea of fans...some of those signs are for you.
'ding, ding, ding!'

Wolverina had already made history, being the first woman to ever set foot in neXus, followed closely by the woman she'd done battle with earlier in the night. It wasn't of her own doing, just the luck of the draw in the order of entry the bosses put out. But such an accolade wasn't enough, not for Wolfie. Emboldened by the energy and faithfulness of her fans, even though the odds are virtually insurmountable for her, the Title Queen steps to the forefront, right in the middle of the hell ground with her arms outstretched in her trademark pose. As always, her "I BELIEVE" quote comes screaming out, louder and with more passion than ever before. The other five combatants, previously eying each other with tense paranoia, focus their collective gazes onto her, hungry orbs peering down at the bandaged up and still visibly damaged Cutie Pie with malicious intent. Like a pack of wild dogs to a wounded animal they lunge at her, a slew of fists, knees and feet impacting her at every corner of her beautiful body. The Queen succumbs to the onslaught and soon finds herself curled up in the fetal position underneath a stampede of booting men who, oddly enough, each have at least SOME small score to settle with her from occurrences in the past.
In the middle of the hellish beat down, Dominik steps in and plucks her up with little to no effort, grabs two handfuls of her ring attire, then runs with her and lawn darts her with ungodly force right into the cage wall. The impact rockets Haven back toward the center of the squared hell where Skull awaits, and he too secures her and executes the very same offense his opponent just employed, launching her ruthlessly at it. Yet again, as though on constant F7 replay, Ms. Cassady is hurled back toward the center of the demonic structure, where Daniel Spears gladly accepts her into his arms. With a mocking smirk, and obviously looking to outdo the others, he yells in her face, "NOW GET BACK IN THE KITCHEN AND FIX ME SOME CHICKEN", before turning and throwing her now torpid and ravaged frame into the walled caging nearest him. But this time as she comes bouncing back uncontrollably, a Barbed Wire Wrapped Kendo Stick slams violently against her face and forehead, ripping through the placed bandages as though they were non-existent. She hits the mat with an emphatic thud, her inertia inert as Hiro, the only one smart enough to have grabbed a weapon at this juncture, stands above her with the stick held high, dubbed mouth movements adding on to Spears' statement, "AND FIX ME SOME EGG ROLLS AND WAN TON SOUP, WOMAN!"
"Wolfie, you are the weakest link, GOODBYE!" "Oh I am so glad you can find humor in the midst of such a slaughtering as we've just witnessed. The poor girl has been busted open again, this is almost too much for me to bear." *In a instant, Hiro's glory is lost upon a Big Boot to the side of his head by TNT.* "D'oooh! Tayler beat me to the punch, I was just gonna say this five on one orgy of macabre wasn't gonna last long."
The people can not stomach seeing their Super Heroine already massacred and out of the right, and begin hurling drinks at the outer cage wall, the various liquids splattering through and pelting the four standing men as they now turn on each other and commence battle. It's a sudden and chaotic melee, a smorgasbord of fists flying at anything that moves, with no man getting the upper hand after several moments of the primitive style of warfare. Perhaps realizing that temporary alliances may be needed to survive early on, Daniel slams a fist into Santiago's face, just as TNT is doing also, and the two begin pounding away on the Assassin, bullying him into the far corner where Tayler keeps high with rapid fire punches to Dom's head and face, while Spears goes low, crippling the Assassin's abdomen with stifling knees and kicks. Instead of trailing in and possibly suffering the same fate as the former Solid Core Champion, Skull turns his attention to the Japanese Canadian, whom is staggering to his feet like the brave and gallant warrior that he is. Noting that Hiro still has that barbaric weapon in hand, the Pureblood reaches down and hefts up one of the weapons filled trash cans, lifting it high above his head in a Military Press position. Then he chucks the weighted down can at him, weapons and all.
Misawa takes the full brunt of it to his side, coercing him to drop his little toy as he is involuntarily flung against the ropes and cage wall. The instruments of destruction once confined in the metal residence spills out by the Japanese Canadian's body as he crumbles to the canvas. Skull's oculars light up like a kid on Christmas morning, the reason for such is what he spots in the debris of weaponry - a pair of weighted armor gloves, only meant for battle during the Medieval Times. He wastes no time is trying them on, a perfect fit. Then, with great urgency, he goes to work on Hiro, mounting him and dropping bomb after bomb on him. To defend after the first devastating blow, Masawa blocks with his forearms the best he can, but even that seems futile as it feels like they will break under the power and fury of a man hell bent on winning this grotesque contest. Meanwhile, on the other end of the spectrum, the two smartest men so far in Cage 2 double Irish Whip Dominik across the ring, unknowingly settling him on course with the Pureblood. As Santiago nears the furiously punching madman he, being the cunning Assassin that he is, decides to turn his peril into gain and takes wing, flying through the air with the extra momentum behind him. One Shining Wizard later Skull is clunked over on top of Hiro, teetering on the border of real world and la la land.
"And Dominik Santiago proves again why he is named the Assassin; why he is so feared and respected in this industry. He's just assassinated Skull, point blank, BOOM headshot." "This is exactly why he is one of my picks to make it to the final four." "Be that as it may, he still has TNT and Spears to deal with, they are still looking on the same page right now." "I have a feeling that won't last long, Ryan."

The Assassin is only allowed a momentary celebration for spilling Skull’s brains across the canvas, as the familiar tandem of TNT and James Spears quickly advance toward him. With his pupils dilated with malevolence, the former multi-time EVPW Television Champion quickly plunges his boot into Dominik’s solar plexus. Having been coerced into doubling over, the Lord of the Flies is unprepared for the foot of Daniel Spears which cuts upward, slamming into his face, tarnishing his looks in the process. The force behind the withering blow sends Santiago to the canvas, in a supine position which begs his adversaries to continue their onslaught. TNT, a well documented rival of the Assassin in his early EVPW days, gives the former New Age Champion exactly what he’s asking for, grasping his legs before locking his feet in between both his armpits. After allowing Spears to commence a ravaging barrage of stomps to the abdominal region of his foe, Tayler Nathan Thomas reclines backward, exploiting the momentum created to drag Santiago off the canvas before launching him forward. The Nexus veteran is greeted by the cold embrace of the steel structure, as he violently clashes face first into the unforgiving structure. The Catapult maneuver and overall exhibition of teamwork by TNT and Spears is efficacious in battering the Assassin, the early favorite to emerge victorious from Cage 2.
After rising to his feet, Thomas joins his ally in a surveying of the situation and rejoicing in their administered carnage . However their jubilance slowly deteriorates as they both begin to ponder about the same thing. With each superstar anticipating imminent betrayal from the other, they both swing around looking to strike first. TNT literally beats Spears to the punch, burying his fist in his jaw, slightly realigning it in the process whilst sending him into a staggering state. Attempting to take control of the quarrel TNT suddenly charges forward, swinging his arm in a wild, maniacal fashion. Success eludes TNT, as Spears thwarts his attack by deftly maneuvering under his arm and sliding knee first across the canvas, laying his fingers on a nearby steel chair. Quickly grasping it by the legs, Daniel climbs to his feet, before swinging the chair with reckless intent. The metallic weapon collides with the cranium of the Irish superstar, effectively scrambling his brains and laying him out in the process.
Matt Oliveira: “That duo was short lived, and that’s how the story usually unfolds in the Nexus. Each man is out to ensure victory for himself.” Colin Jennings: “Trust hangs by a thread; the second you turn your back, the second-’ Ryan Hughes: “The second your head is plastered into a steel chair. The Genius and I can attest to that!”
The young, promising star shoots a glare at Hiro Misawa whom begins showing gradual signs of life and recuperation. Sneering down in contempt, Spears quickly tosses the chair aside before plodding toward his fatigued foe, before dragging him to a vertical base. Daniel immediately forces the issue with a vindictive, artful forearm shot to the chin, before raising his knee and lifting it straight into the gut of his adversary. In that quick sequence of offense, the sweat that had cascaded down Hiro’s face had splattered to the canvas, while the air and apparent will to fight had sputtered out from his gaping mouth. With his sacrificial lamb leaned over and prepared to be slaughtered, Spears grasps Misawa by the near wrist before reeling him in, whilst rolling to the side and launching him on a collision course for the corner. Despite having taken an early, stupendous amount of punishment, Misawa precludes his momentum by quickly placing a foot into the turnbuckle padding. Infuriated by the flourishing of tenacity that got Misawa to the dance, the impulsive Spears make a bee-line for the corner. As Daniel nears, Hiro circumvents him, deftly rolling out of the corner, causing his opponent to impede onto the turnbuckle. With his sternum bruised, Spears slowly turns, prompting the young Japanese Canadian to crawl through the window of opportunity he created. Misawa leaps backward into the electric atmosphere, simultaneously arching his body and allowing himself to raise his leg upward. The effects of the devastating Pele Kick reverberate throughout the head of Daniel Spears as he is left slumped in the corner.
“Now that’s a BFK2H for ya. He just split his brains in half guys.” “I think his version of the move was much more impressive than your simple maneuver Ryan! His took skill, while yours was…” “Just good enough to beat you and end Stone Orchard’s title reign back in EVPW.” “Let’s play nice fellas!”
Wolverina slowly rises from the ashes, locking her eyes on the befuddled Spears. Mustering a second wind, the first female King of Deathmatches jolts toward the corner holding aspirations to launch Daniel into oblivion and anguish. Her desire comes to fruition, as she leaves her feet and raises her knees, driving them straight into his chest, leaving Spears panting heavily and in excruciating pain. The agony only increases, as Skull comes into camera view. Out of desperation and in self-defense, Wolfie kneels to the canvas, causing Skull to step onto her back and use her as a spring to propel himself into the electric ambiance. The two hundred plus pound frame of the GHW Legend crashes into the battered body of the New Yorker, forcing him to take a seat on the canvas. Sitting in and residing in the precipice between defeat, and eradication, Spears can only gaze at his next incoming attack, one from the catalyst of the onslaught, Hiro Misawa. Running straight for Spears in a menacing daze, and wielding the steel chair, Misawa suddenly leaps forward, sliding the chair underneath his feet before dropkicking it into the mug of his adversary.
The crowd roars in approval, as the superstars lie across the canvas, some hyperventilating, others contemplating their next moves, but all waiting upon the opening of the cell door, hoping to advance to the second round.
"Cage 2 continues to deliver! Daniel Spears continues to be destroyed. " "Brilliant sequence of synchronized attacks from Wolverina, Skull and Hiro Misawa." "'And the first stage has only just commenced. I don't have to tell you Ollie, because we both know there's only more things to come. "

The chaos that cage two has inflicted upon its inhabitants is there for all to see, battered bodies spread throughout the canvassed ring. The entire audience clamber to their feet almost frothing at the mouth baying for blood. The hostile ambiance that fills the arena slowly seeps into the veins of the competitors poisoning their collective mindsets as Nexus takes control. Tayler slowly rises to his feet as the increased adrenaline level supplied by the Nexus God’s allow him to fight through the excruciating pain that currently encumbers his chances of victory. His old advisory matches his vertical basis as the two lock eyes in the middle of the squared hell. Sensing the fans anticipation the two warrior’s waste little time in renewing old rivalries. Santiago’s sadistic scowl known for weakening his opponents resolve proves ineffective against the Gaelic grappler, instead presenting a target for his masculine mitts. Tayler smashes his right hand against Dom’s chiselled jaw line sending the assassin staggering backwards and potentially reassessing his strategy. His eyes widen as a new found animosity consumes him, sending him into a state of rage.
“This doesn’t bode well for TNT, Dom is ready to snap.”
“Ready to snap? As a former stable mate of the hardcore assassin I can tell you, the man is always ready to snap.”
“The only thing Dom’s going to snap is Tayler’s neck, nobody fucks with Santiago and lives, well maybe Metal Dragon but that’s another story.”
The former death match champion leaps forward, leaving his feet at the last second, driving his knee upwards into the Celt’s sternum. The blow instantly causes the big man respiratory issues as the air rushes forth from his lungs, leaving him vulnerable to the assassins continued onslaught. Thomas drops to his knees unable to maintain his vertical basis, upon his arrival on the canvas he is greeted by Santiago’s foot being wrapped around the back of his cranium. The vicious impact sends a slap like echo reverberating throughout the arena, garnering the cage favourite even more support from the fickle fans. The crushing blow enhances the already ferocious aura that emanates from the hellacious structure. Dominik stands alone in the middle of the cage soaking in the atmosphere, symbiotically drawing power from the metallic monstrosity. Just as it appears no man in cage two can stand toe to toe with the lord of the flies and survive, he is sent crashing back down to earth like a junkie coming off a high. A malicious chair shot sends the man who had been in the ascendancy face first into the taught canvas.
“Wolverina just blind sighted Dominik with a vicious chair shot and in the process has turned this cage on its head.”
“Whilst Dom may be down, only a fool would bet against a competitor of his calibre.”
“Agreed Hughes, I still believe that he will be the first man through the roof when it opens, the others are merely competing to see who joins him.”
The sight of the reigning queen of the death match towering above her 5 male rivals sends the crowd into rapturous applause. The sold out crowd clearly appreciate the Champion’s opportunistic prowess and the potential for blood that a chair shot presents. Fortunately for the hardcore assassin crimson failed to spill on this occasion, although concussion could well be an issue at the conclusion of the contest. Wolverina’s status as the lone warrior standing is short lived as Hiro and Skull both ascend to their feet. The two males begin circling the ring, refusing to be caught in the middle Wolvy charges at the Canadian catching him off guard with a Lou Thez press. Her curvy frame smashes into the blue haired wonder sending him crashing back to the mat he had just escaped. The current EVPW TV champion refuses to stop there, instead choosing to unleash a battalion of blows upon her chosen victim. Her feminine fists cascade off Misawa’s forehead pounding every inch of flesh in sight. The Nashville native wails at the sky, almost mimicking the animalistic attributes of her name sake as she channels all her frustrations into her fists attempting to decapitate the faux Japanese fighter.
“Well Wolverina is really impressing me in this contest, pitted against 5 vicious men and she is still managing to make an impact.”
“They don’t just hand out championships; she earned those two titles and is showing the determination and vicious streak that brought her to the dance.”
“Even so Ryan, I have to say she has caught me off guard with this performance tonight, considering she is doing double duty.”
Skull’s peripheral vision allows him to prevail from what could have been a dangerous position, as he notices Spears charging at his back. The Englishman displays his agility and nimble feet as he manages to roll out of oncoming traffic transitioning into a position behind his aggressor. Shocked to have missed his mark Daniel almost does a double take attempting to locate Skull, his actions prove to be too little too late as Skull clubs the back of his neck. The impact doubles the man over presenting the Englishman with opportunity to send his victim into the cold embrace of the steel cage. He follows through with that train of thought, leaving Spears once again prone on the canvas clutching his forehead attempting to alleviate the excruciating pain pulsating through his cranium. Having dispensed of one opponent Skull turns to find Wolverina standing in front of him. The two glare at each other, knowing that yet another obstacle stands between themselves and progression to stage two.

Wolverina and TNT stare each other down, but just as push is expected to come to shove, Spears comes up clean behind TNT and whips him into a corner. Spears attempts to hit the same on Wolverina but she leaps in the air hiitting a drop kick on Daniel and Spears falls flat onto is back breathing as heavy as he possibly can. The camera get’s right in his face and you can see blood coming from his nose, a possible break. Spears stares at the ceiling for a moment as he sees Santiago go flying into the cage right over him. Santiago lands on Spears who musters up the strength to push him off. The Lone Darkness gets himself up off the ground and just as he does he sees Wolverina charging at him, going for yet another attack. Spears thinks fast though and hits his left leg up and just the right moment, kicking Wolfie in the jaw. Wolfie falls back and Spears smiles. Next to him he sees Dominik Santiago stirring. Spears quickly grabs him by the head and slams him head first into the steel cage wall. Spears makes another quick rotation as Wolverina tries to drive a fist into his chin. He catches that though and twists her arm before hooking her head and landing a DDT on her. Next the Self-Proclaimed King of the World drops down on the King of the Deathmatch Champion and puts her in a headlock.
“Astounding! I think we just saw Daniel Spears get his second wind.” “That’s not going to be a good thing in the long run IF he manages to make it to the next round. You need that second wind at the end of a match, not at the beginning.” “True, but then again I think we all know Spears can pull a miracle here and there when he needs too.”
Across the ring Tyler Nathan Thomas and Skull are locked in a collar and elbow tie up as Hiro tries to take a breather, given everyone else is either down or occupied. Before he can realize it though, Skull whips TNT right into him as both men hit the ground. Skull then turns his attention elsewhere, to the land of the lone darkness. He walks up behind Spears and drives a big boot into his bag. Spears releases his grasp on the People’s Princess as he gets up and looks directly at Skull. Spears slaps Skull across the face and Skull retaliates. Next thing you know, Skull is holding the Lone Darkness with his head under his arm and BAM! Skull hits a suplex on Dan Spears, sending him back to the mat. All this while Wolverina and Santiago had a chance to both regain vertical bases and Santiago has Wolfie in the corner. Strong lefts and rights are what Dominik drives into the midsection of his beautiful opponent. Across from that action Hiro managed to get the upper hand on TNT and he uses that to his advantage, slamming TNT into the cage wall. After getting tired of playing with one toy he decides to change targets. He makes a B-line right at Skull who hits a strong clothesline on him before piledriving spears who was able to get to his feet again.
“I can’t believe the carnage we are seeing in this match tonight.” “It almost amazes you though, getting to see what the human body can withstand.” “Put any two average Joes into the ring tonight and I guarantee that you wouldn’t have a match that lasted this long. This show would have been over ages ago.” “That’s so true. These guys are trained to endure the toughest battles they can while most every day men and women can barely take a few punches.”
The tension in the ring hits an all time high as every single person in the ring gets to their feet with all of the men and woman making a circle and staring each other down. Old tensions finally break as Wolverina charges across the ring at TNT, hitting him with a boot to the gut and an elbow to the back. Skull and Dominik Santiago go another round with each other locking up, leaving Spears and Hiro. Spears gives a cocky half grin knowing he has a shot. He lifts up a steel chair that is next to him and as Hiro runs at him: THWAP! The Lone Darkness cracks the chair down hard on Hiro's skull.

Spears takes a breath out of fatigue as Hiro Misawa crumbles like a demolished building due to the effects of his cranium colliding with the steel chair. While the other competitors continue their physical altercations, Spears slowly plods toward the trash can, quickly withdrawing a broom from its contents. Meanwhile, Dominik and Skull reach the boiling point in their battle, with the Pureblood getting the upperhand, drilling the former New Age Champion with a stiff shot. Skull followed up with a second thunderous blow, causing the eyes of the Californian to grow weary. With Santiago seemingly on his last legs, Skull quickly seizes him by the wrist before reeling him. Exploiting the momentum, the Assassin spins before suddenly countering, turning the Irish Whip on the Englishman, inadvertently launching him into a waiting Daniel Spears. With one rigorous swing, Spears laid into Skull’s forehead with a brutal, merciless shot, taking the Pureblood off his feet and leaving him sprawling on the canvas. That was just breakfast, and unbeknownst to the Assassin, he was lunch. Reacting impetuously to the circumstances, Santiago charges straight at the broom brandishing behemoth and receives a thrust to the solar-plexus for his efforts. Daniel is left salivating at the mouth after his latest meal, whilst locking his eyes on both his supper and dessert. Wolverina and the rising TNT are utterly oblivious to the incoming freight train Spears, whom holds and extends the broom, horizontally. As the wooden weapon impacts against their throats, both superstars are swept off their feet.
Ryan Hughes: “And that ladies and gentlemen, was a clean sweep! Daniel Spears has all the momentum" Matt Oliveira: “We’ll need a clean up on Aisle 2 folks!” Colin Jennings: “I don’t think that broom was ever designed to be used in such a barbaric fashion.”
Daniel relinquishes the broom before leaning over and grasping the luscious Deathmatch Queen by her hair, looking to exhibit his superiority over his feminine foe. The vindictive Spears cocked a fist back whilst gritting his teeth, displaying his mental prerequisites for administering punishment. And deliver pain he did, commencing to bury his fist into the face of the Nebraskan Princess, looking to create a laceration across her head and destroy her will to continue in the process. With the enervated Cutie Pie knelt before her aggressor, Spears outstretches his arms, succumbing to his own glow of arrogance. A victim of his own pompousness, Spears leaves himself completely vulnerable, giving Tayler Nathan Thomas an opportunity to invoke the winds of change. Raising the trash can overhead of the incognizant New Yorker, the former ICW superstar traps his foe inside the trashcan. The Irishman’s intervention provides Wolvie with an opportune moment to exact revenge, as the femme fatale strikes her arm between Daniel’s legs, severing his foundation. As Spears falls to one knee, Wolverina climbs back to her feet, reinvigorated by both the change of events and the roaring cheers of the enraptured audience. As TNT raises his foot for his own attack, Wolvie sidesteps before raising her leg into the air. The feet of the two EVPW titans collide with the trash can, dropping Spears to the canvas and leaving the spectators cheering in a unanimous approval.
“Kick The Can! That might have been a tribute to the Genius himself!” “Oh don’t inflate his ego anymore than it already is Colin!” “I feel a bit of jealousy coming from you Ryan.” “Nope! That’s just the lips of your colleague who’s been kissing your ass all night.” “At least he admitted it Colin!” “I bet you thought that was clever…"
Before Wolverina and TNT can even strategize, Hiro Misawa advance toward them with a fire extinguisher held tightly in his clutches. Without hesitation, the Japanese Fighty fighty person fire, shooting the contents of the fire battling tool into the eyes and body of his counterparts, rendering them helpless. As Wolverina collapses to the floor, TNT is left doubled over. Misawa drops the extinguisher before grappling TNT, quickly placing his head in between Thomas’s arm before wrapping his arms around his torso, entrapping his adversary in a waist lock. As he pops his hips, he subsequently and violently bridges his back; the Canadian flips the Irishman forward, slamming him across the fire extinguisher. TNT is left convulsing in agony, feeling like his back had been snapped in two due to the Northern Lights Suplex.
As he rises, Misawa displays a callous indifference to the agony of his opponent. His attention however, is soon diverted by the Assassin who slithers toward the nearby corner to recuperate. Hiro journeys over to his position before dragging him to his feet, wasting no time in exerting his dominance upon the Assassin. Misawa quickly plants Santiago’s face into the turnbuckle padding, looking to disfigure the battered Californian. The Japanese Californian repeats the former, with the latter containing an increase in malice. As he attempts a third, Santiago places his foot on the turnbuckle, hindering Misawa’s efforts before swinging his leg and blasting him in the face. As Misawa staggers back from the brain scrambling kick, Dominik slowly climbs the proverbial mountain, scaling the top rope. As he begins adjusting his position to face the ring, Hiro retaliates, landing a stupefying right cross that leaves Santiago perched and motionless. Just as Misawa began to climb the turnbuckle in pursuit, The Pureblood ventures back into camera view, quickly clubbing Misawa across the lower back and preventing him from progressing up the turnbuckle. After softening up his foe, Skull slips under him, hoisting the Ontario native onto his shoulders before backing up. In a sudden turn of events, the GHW legend reclines backward, causing both he and his adversary to pancake onto the canvas with a resounding thud. As the Electric chair victims writhe in pain, Santiago shakes the cobwebs, slowly rising to the very top of the turnbuckle. Sneering down at his inanimate opposition, the Assassin places his arms across his ‘X’, performing his signature taunt, whilst hinting to the crowd what’s about to transgress. With the arena on it’s feet, plagued by their anticipation, Santiago suddenly leaps from the turnbuckle, and in doing so, liberates the spectators from their suspense. Amidst flight, the Lord of the Flies brings his knees inward at the peak of his ascension, before outstretching him during his plummet. The feet of the Californian land into the sternum of Hiro Misawa, as Dominik Santiago drills him with his patent trademark maneuver. The entire arena can be heard gasping theatrically, almost in unison with Misawa who’s coughs of agony are very real, feeling like a railroad spike had been staked through his chest.
“Misawa better grab his inhaler after that Asthma Attack! That was vintage Santiago right there!” “He and Jordan have one thing in common. They’re wondering how can they breathe with no air!” “He could very well have his sternum shattered. You can’t compete if you can’t breath.”
The arena was a perfect pandemonium as a pool of carcasses lay strewn across Cage 2. Each superstar was motionless; spirits slightly diminished, bodies and mind broken, holding on by a thread of hope that once the cage open, they could climb their way to salvation in the former of Stage 2, and move that much closer to immortality.

The fans marvel at the all out classic being produced out of Cage Two, the very cage that has finally taken the spotlight away from the apocalyptic Cage Three nearby. All eyes are fixated on the amazing Assassin, who has proved himself worthy of the next round and also happens to be gaining his footing. The Californian hisses as he stands up among the inceppants strewn around at his feet like vicimts of a hurricane, knowing full well tonight would be his night, he'd already seen this very graphic scene in his mind - his Rendezvous With Destiny. Dom's malignant orbs shift to and fro expertly, scanning target after target like a Terminator, finally settling on the Cutest of the Cute across the ring. Although Haven is constantly underestimated by her male opponent's simply due to her gender, Santiago is no fool. This very woman had almost beat him for his Solid Core title in EVPW awhile back, and the quicker she is emphatically out of the equation, the better. Wolverina, ignorant of the fact she is being selected for assassination, continues to rub at her eyes and face to get off the extinguisher residue.
Her loyal fans scream warning after warning at her, as the Legion member picks up a chair and gallops toward her with powerful, hatefully mean strides. But destiny is fickle. Feeling the vibrations of his feet through the canvas, the Queen of Deathmatches grabs onto a random weapon which happens to be a GHW action figure bearing the likeness of one of her bitter enemies - Metal Dragon. The toy is the big kind, bout 10 inches tall (mind out of the gutter, guys) and in its plastic hand is a plastic Singapore Cane. The actual figure itself though, has been wrapped in barbed wire to fit the criteria of being a weapon in the match. Regardless of these trivial facts, she grabs it at the feet and spins to face the barreling evil doer, bringing it around full force into his ugly cat face. The Californian loses his chair and a little bit of his bearings as he stumbles back, feeling of the side of his face. The Assassin recovers quickly though and is visibly taken aback by the peculiar weapon that had greeted him, which now is hoisted aloft Wolfie's shoulder. The People's Princess remains in the traditional batter's stance and swings for the fences as he charges her for a second time. To keep the brilliant Assassin off guard, she goes low with the strike this time, bringing it against his abdomen with maddening resolve. The impact is enough to plop Santiago onto all fours, leaving himself vulnerable. Ms. Cassady comes down on him like God's plagues on Egypt, ravaging the vile one's head and neck with a volley of sadistic shots with the toy, while also horse rising him around the ring as he tries to crawl away.
"BWAHAHAHA! Ah.. ah.. BWAHAHAHA!" "HAHAHA.. Matt.. haha, I can't catch my breath! Ha. This is too much, too funny. I can't believe it." "OH MY GOD ME EITHER HAHA! Poor Dominik Santiago, he just can't escape the demon of his past, Metal Dragon." "You know Dom's confidence is going to take a dip now, because it's pretty sad when even Metal Dragon's action figure can kick his ass."
The ferocious beat down subsides as the figure itself becomes unusable, forcing the People's Princess to dismount the Assassin and think of a better plan. The Tag Champion rolls away and rests painfully against the bottom buckle nursing his new wounds as well as old, but no reprieve is given to him by the Gorgeous Graceling. Running toward him while screaming like a banchee, the Title Queen leaps into the air and spreads her legs wide, leveling him with a Bronco Buster of epic proportions. The crowd roars as she jams her crouch in his face over and over again, before removing herself and yelling all kinds of smack to him. What she finds, however, is the same look of pervert enjoyment that she encountered a few weeks ago against Kasabian Stalker, when she had delivered the very same move. Haven's face turns beet red as Dom begs her for another one, but she seems willing to oblige. She charges headlong at him again, but little does she know that right behind her is TNT, keeping in step with her. And at just the right time he grabs the back of her attire and pulls her down easily. The Assassin is left frozen and unable to move as Tayler takes Haven's place, and gives Dominik a facial bone wrecking boot smash. He continues to work over Santiago in a bid to incapacitate him beyond recovery, since after all Dom is the biggest threat in the match.
During all of the action, only the Pureblood seems aware that the cage top has been unlocked. He's up from sentencing Misawa to the Electric Chair and is climbing the chain linked wall without so much as an inkling of trouble finding him, leaving the depleted form of Hiro far behind. Forcing the can off him, Spears sits up holding his head and looking around, wanting to track down and snuff out the culprits who treated him so badly. He finds them in timely manner, but also notices Skull's sneaky little attempt to escape. Danny Boy grabs the can used on him and considers hurling it mightily at the Pureblood, but realizes he too could simply ascend to the next step, if all went well. Wasting no time, Daniel begins his journey up the cage adjacent to Skull, as the Japanese Canadian finally begins to stir down below. Also stirring is Haven, who was so rudely tossed asunder like a ragdoll just moments ago. Misawa and Wolfie sit up on their haunches and look around, instantly going into panic mode at seeing the two climbing combatants. The Title Queen attempts to get up but is offered a proposition by the dubbed mouth movements of Hiro, who seems to be offering an alliance of some sort. He points to himself and to her, then up at the the next stage.
After a nod between the two, they make a beeline toward the gingerly scaling Daniel Spears. Each grab a boot and pulls him down, his groin area straddling the Northern most cable on the way down. Spears topples over to the side, his foot getting tangled up in the ropes on the way over, trapping him in place. Satisfied with their cohesiveness, the unlikely pair set their eyes on the Pureblood, who was far up the wall and out of normal reach. Understanding the need to make up lost time, the pair use the ropes to vault high onto the cage and hastily converge around Skull, who looks pissed that he has to possibly fend off not one but two people. The Pureblood prepares to do just that though, until much to his surprise Hiro Misawa spits some signature "SHARDonnay" into Wolverina's eyes. The Queen loses her grip on the cage and immediately plummets down to the ring, landing brutally atop a tipped over trash can. The can is squashed upon impact, and her body is racked with immense pain, much to chagrin of the now despondent crowd. The double-cross had worked and now things are easy breezy for both Skull and Misawa. The Japanese Canadian motions for the Pureblood to carry on through to the next stage, where he would follow.
"That low down no good Hiro, he just double crossed Haven. The girl has been through enough already on this night, what more can she possibly take?" "I've got something she can take, but that's for another time." "You may not like what just happened, Collin, but it was quite brilliant if I do say so myself. Christians are too trusting. I would've done the same thing and I'm sure you would have too, Ryan." "Damn right I would've. It's a necessity in that type of environment. But, uh, that little double cross may have repercussions cause look, I think Thomas is aware of the situation." "Oh he is definitely aware and he's pissed, but Skull and Misawa are too far up, they're bout to make the escape. TNT is out of time!"
