You made it through two stages of complete hell, and now you, along with three others, stand in a 20-by-20 ring twelve feet above the previous stage, surrounded in a ring with caging fifteen feet high. Ropes are installed, and in one corner is the final trashcan of weapons -getting a tad redundant, but trust me, you will be using their contents as much as you were in stage one, which seems so long ago right now. The goal of this? The first man (or woman) to score a submission will be the winner, obviously the spare opponents will be keeping you from doing so -render them incapacitated, out-maneuver them, anything...just get that submission, and NeXuS is yours.
Rules 1. No post limit. 2. No character (!) limit. 2. No disqualifications. 3. 6-hour reservations allowed. 4. This match will end on Sunday at 7 PM GMT.
Metal Dragon vs. Hayden HardKore vs. Wolverina vs. Desperado
Make us proud, you guys.
RYAN HUGHES 2x GHW New Age Champ 1x GHW World Champ 2010 NeXuS Deathmatch Winner
Four crimson decorated bodies lie scattered across the four winds of Hell's Half Acre, all of them victims of the worse acts of depravity known to man. Phase Two should've been the end of it; how much more could they take after all? A simple submission hold is all that stands in their way now, and with the toil each frame has endured, a submission should be relatively easy to achieve, right? They slither weakly into random corners to regroup as best they can, yet no matter how long they stay there it won't be nearly enough time. Metal Dragon, the man who should coin the new moniker of "Fall Guy" after sustaining umpteen numbers of them from ladders in Phase Two, rises first much to the disbelief and dismay of GHW's clientele. Following him to his vertical base, equally torpid and consumed by listlessness, is the one destined to win this thing, Desperado. Fans in the stands and at home begin placing more harmless bets, gambling at the expense of four people who will have their careers cut short tonight. The odds on favorite now, of course, is the Deadly and Dangerous One, who many bet HAS to win now, figuring it's in the "script" for him to do so. The Revolutionary still has a handcuff attached to his wrist from his little cuffed-together brouhaha with Dominik in Phase Two. The Assassin had managed to free himself of his cuff at some point but was a prick and left Despy to carry the other one. Oh well, Desperado got the last laugh on that one.
Across from MD and the New Yawker is Hayden HardKore AND his bloodied-not-blushing bride to be, Wolverina. The People's Princess had not made it into this final stage under her own accord though. Hayden had carried her on his shoulder all the way up the ladder with him, fearing that if he had left her there the other sore losers would take their frustrations out on her. On top of that, it would also be nice to have someone on your side that you can trust in this part of the contest, because after all, love conquers all. In his act of love and selflessness though, he'd overlooked the fact that he would now have to be both offensive and defensive in his battles, for both of his adversaries would surely be honing in on Wolverina, the most bludgeoned and subsceptible combatant in the fray. As if cued in on the Kiwi's thoughts, MD and Desperado howl painfully as they remove themselves from their corners, defying their bodies pleas for a break. Widened orbs beam out from under masks of red as they plod forward, their gazes not tuned in on Hayden, but the woman he'd protectively placed behind him. Haven's head is peaked out from behind Kiwi's side, watching her impending demise marching toward her. The Queen and her King begin saying stuff to each other, nervously fidgeting in a panic as to what to do. Closer and closer the wolves close in, but unfortunately for Draggles, Desperado isn't a princess nor is he in love with him. Suddenly, out of nowhere, the Brooklyn native spins on his heels and clobbers the Tennessean with a Clotheline so fierce that it trumps the one he delivered last year to Santiago in this very same Phase.
"Clothesline! History repeats itself, folks. The opening shot last year in this stage was a clothesline from hell by none other than the man who just did it again, Desperado. And that shot had Stan Hansen written all over it" "What a goon MD is. How could he fall for that? Doesn't he watch film footage?" "Nah, he just shows up and beats people up. Plus, he's always too drunk and impatient to watch footage anyway; he'd rather watch pornos instead, or YouTube meme compilations." "I watch them too, but I'd be smart enough to have nailed Despy first." "I thought for sure Despy and Metal Dragon were gonna team up and take Hayden out, then go after Wolverina, only after they battled it out to see who gets to make her tap!" "Plot ruiner. A**hole."
As Matt whacks the Fuzz in the back of the head for his commentary snafu, the action in the sadistic stanza picks up. Realizing Despy's plans to wipe out Dragon then come after him to get to Haven, the Jackass springs into damsel distress saving Hero mode and charges headlong from his corner. On Desperado's way up to a vertical base, he's plowed into and Lou Thesz Pressed by the legendary Kiwi, who goes right into pummeling him mercilessly with his fists. The man receiving such a rude bombardment had come too far for such an ass kicking, and quickly mount sweeps Hayden, winding up on top of him and raining down retaliatory fist fire. The two icons begin rolling from there, each man gaining the upper hand only for a moment before the other turns the tables. As they continue their rolling fight, which is usually reserved for hot chicks like Wolfie in catfights, smears of their life-force trail in their wake, painting the canvas with a Picasso of macabre. During the exchange, the Jackass catches a glimpse of the lone weapons cache can in the corner, and dismounts his foe suddenly. The New Yorker swipes at his retreating antagonist, clasping his ankle which stymies Hayden's lunge for the can.
It only takes two hard tugs from the Yank before HardKore is embattled with shooting pain ripping through his lower leg and ankle, the submission hold made famous by the likes of Shamrock and Angle expertly placed and locked in. Before the New Zealander can offer a counter, the Desperate One adds on a leg grapevine to compliment the already crippling hold, plunging the Consummate Champion into a whole new world of affliction. The GHW Universe mourns and wails loudly in protest, yelling for Wolverina to do something, or for Hayden to just hang in there. Alarmed, and with the crowd's backing, Haven courageously puts forth her first act of aggression in the final stage. Roaring out from her corner like a pissed lioness, the Queen of Extreme powers toward her Prince's location, only to fall flat on her torn up face by a trip-up from GHW's resident prankster, Metal Dragon, who'd either just woke up or was playing possum all long. MD grabs one of Wolfie's legs, and places her ankle between his thighs. Draggles swiftly lies on top of her back, fighting off the urge to sex her on the spot, and locks his arms around her pretty head. The Man of Golden Words then pulls back stretching the Christian Cutie's back, neck, and knee. In the midst of this, MD and Desperado share competing strings of profanities toward each other.
"STF on Wolverina, and a Ankle Lock on Hayden, who's gonna tap first!!!" "Hell if I know. Matt, you wanna reign in on this one, since you so famously tapped out to me not too long ago?" "Ryan, you need to let that go. Please, please come out of retirement. I will also, then I'll put you back into retirement the Oliveira way!" "Annnyway, back to reality for a moment. Hayden has never tapped out so you know Haven is. That's not just anybody that has that STF locked on, it's Metal friggin' Dragon. So prepare to get spit on, world." "If so just think how emotionally devastated Wolfie would be. There's so much bad blood between her and MD inside and outside of the ring, she'd never recover if she submitted to him." "And she's a woman so she'd totally blame Hayden for it, somehow."
Perhaps telepathically registering the words just uttered by tonight's crew, the Jackass blots out the pain long enough to elbow crawl himself and Despy closer to the can, and frantically removes an object from it - A Ryan Hughes bobble head on a stick. Knowing that the figure portion would be as useless as Ryan's actual wrestling abilities, the New Zealander turns it and begins jamming the blunt, rounded wooden end into the Revolutionary's leg like a cruel criminal would stab his innocent victim.
"Haha, I put that in that can. It was me. I knew someone would use it." "You're such an arrogant prick." "Hypocrite. Your thumbtack chair was used excessively already."
In due time the Brooklyn Bomber releases the lethal hold and rolls away, half blocking the weapons laden trash can itself as it's hurled toward him. Meanwhile, Dragon wretches Ms. Cassady tightly, stretching the affected muscles to their limits. Haven groans and grunts in her predicament, agony coursing through her veins. Her arm sways beside her, tensed in raised, locked and ready to tap the mat in disgrace. Refusing to relinquish the hold even as a ragefaced Kiwi storms toward him, MD eats a soccer-kick to the grill piece, a few of his dip stained chicklets flying out onto the canvas as he's ripped away from the Gorgeous Graceling. The Dual Champion presses his new found advantage, shaking the kinks out of his hurt appendage long enough to toss MD face first into the cage wall. He repeats the action, then once more, rendering the Nashvillian a bumbling mess before him. But just like in chess, bad things happen when you leave the Queen unprotected. While Hayden continues to give Metal Dragon the lesson in respect his momma should've done a long time ago, Desperado sneakily approaches the People's Princess from behind, limping. The fans warn her of the DKO heading her way but she seems too downtroddened to do anything, and is quickly spun around by the Deadly One.
Indeed a DKO was on its way, but the Title Queen drops to her knees while pushing him away just enough to thwart the end-all move. Simultaneously with this, Haven thumbs his butthole and grabs his testicles in a vice grip, twisting violently with the same Black Market Castration she once administered to Jaggeroth. Firmly in control now, she "guides" him toward the cage as he flails madly in her almighty Queenly clutch. One Nut-Punch later and he's putty in her hands, doubled over gasping. She takes claim of the free handcuff attached to Despy's wrist and cuffs him to the cage itself, virtually eliminating him from the contest fully. Satisfied, Haven turns her attention to her man Hayden, to help him beat up that mean ole bully, Dragon. But a punt kick to the taint lifts her skyward a few inches, and she's suddenly pulled by the back of her singlet right into a mugger style choke from behind by the one armed man. The Brooklyn Bomber hastily secures her into a body scissors as well, crushing her little ribs while cutting off the flow of oxygen to her brain with the choke.
"Holy Shit! Desperado's got her good. Hayden has no clue too!" "You mean to tell me a one armed man is going to win NeXus? Hogwash!" "She's fading quick! It might be over already!"

1x GHW KotDM Champion (current) 3x EVPW TV Champion (current) 2x GHW Tag Team Champion (former) 2011 NeXus Finalist Victim of the Phantom Rule
The battle had split itself into two even parts, mini battles separating the pairing of Hayden and Wolverina. As Metal Dragon sinks to the mat, his face bloodied and body battered around by the Jackass, Desperado’s one armed choke and body scissors threatens to steal the fabled NeXuS title away from under the Kiwi’s beak. Just as his leading lady begins to fade to Desperado’s clutches, Hayden spins around, catching the bizarre scene just in time. Like all good Kodak moments, the picture before him is met with a mixed look of amusement and panic. Before him, Hayden sees his old rival, Desperado, handcuffed to yet another cage wall while doing his best to make Haven yield.
In an attempt to prolong the match and stop Despy from stealing the win, Hayden charges the few paces across the elevated ring toward his opponent. The Jackass pushes Wolverina forward, toward the body of her one armed assailant, loosening Desperado’s body scissors enough to let the Christian Cutie breathe. The legs soon tighten again as Desperado re-applies the hold. Through gritted teeth, he wills Haven to give up before Hayden can break the hold. Nevertheless, Hayden’s next move is to target the attacker, he pulls Desperado legs first away from the cage wall, until he meets the resistance of Desperado’s handcuff. Desperado cries out in discomfort as the cold steel begins to rub his wrist raw, but the Kiwi keeps tugging. Exhausted, Wolverina slips through the Revolutionary’s grasp and collapses to the mat, allowing Hayden to turn his attention fully toward the one armed attacker.
”Hayden saved the day, again… Just in time I might add. I thought NeXuS was over for another year.”
”Hayden is not going to let himself lose NeXuS. Not even at the expense of Wolverina, if it comes to that. And definitely not at the expense of an old friend like Desperado.”
”Well he did last year. He lost that match good and proper. Remind me again who won that?”
Hayden lays into the wingless figure of Desperado, placing a well timed kick in between Despy’s legs as he holds him out from the wall by the ankles. As he looks to line up a second shot, he backs away from the cage wall and his opponent, licking his lips with anticipation as he does so. However, he soon meets an unexpected wall of resistance. He does not have to turn around to figure out what it is, the solid object in his way soon makes itself known. Metal Dragon, complete with metal “Give Way” sign in his hand, complete with wooden post. The almost forgotten fourth member of the NeXuS final wastes little time in getting his own back against the man who had beaten the snot out of him earlier. In the never ending battle between the two men from cage one, this time it is his turn to get the upper hand. He does so by swatting at the back of the Kiwi Legend’s head, slamming the “Give” section of the sign into his skull and sending the New Zealander sprawling forward. Hayden scrambles away from the angry Nashvillian, past the downed body of Wolverina and the cuffed figure of Desperado and makes a desperate beeline for the final trashcan, looking to even the odds.
Metal Dragon approaches again, the “Give Way” signs slung over his shoulder casually as he closes off the gap that has opened between the two men. When Hayden re-appears from digging inside the trashcan, he does so with a length of rope in his hands. The rope is tied in a lasso, and the Kiwi begins by swinging it about his head, much like he would his own Ball’n’Chain. Metal Dragon swings again with the “Give Way” sign, the metal edge of the street-sign almost chopping the Kiwi’s ear off as he dodges out of the way. He is dealt only a glancing blow across the shoulder from the wooden post of the sign as it sails past his body. The narrow miss leaves the window of opportunity open just a crack, and Hayden steals the blueberry pie of chance by flicking the lasso over Dragon’s head, pulling tight the rope to hold the Tennessean in place. With a yank of the lasso, his rope-tied victim falls to the mat, dropping the “Give Way” sign in the process. MD struggles to find his feet as the Kiwi sets about latching the other end of the lasso to the ring rope, like a dog on a leash tied up outside the local bar. The Kiwi backs away just enough to be out of reach of Dragon’s angry and wild swinging feet as the caged animal lashes out.
”Hayden and Metal Dragon have been at it all night, and it seems to be coming to a head now. This is just getting ridiculous. One man is attacking the other with a “give Way” sign, the other is proceeding to hog tie him with a lasso?”
”Well, technically, hog-tying him would mean tying his feet and hands together. But, I see your point… This is NeXuS.”
The Kiwi, having backed away enough to escape MD’s strikes, charges off across the ring toward the perpendicular ropes. Building up a head of steam as he does so, Hayden Springboards off the ropes half way along the side of the ring and aims a Missile Dropkick at Dragon’s head. Hayden’s oldest rival is sent flying backward, taking the lasso rope with him. He is stopped only by the turnbuckle, which he backs into precariously. All the while, Hayden is lining up his next move, having Metal Dragon right where he needs him. As Hayden lands his Springboard Dropkick, he knocks over the remaining trashcan, scattering an assortment of weapons across the mat of the elevated ring. One particular weapon, a set of bolt cutters, slides across the canvas, just outside of Desperado’s reach. The Revolutionary’s eyes light up as he spies his freedom, but standing between him and the bolt cutters is one obstacle, Wolverina.
Wolverina takes the advantage she has of two limbs by winding up a flurry of slaps and punches that catch Desperado off guard. Shaking off the effects of Desperado’s near submission as she does so, Haven proceeds to tenderize her opponent, preparing him nicely for a larger move. Desperado’s head droops into a daze as Wolverina’s two limbs begin to prove too much for his one armed defense. To finish her flurry, she grabs a hold of his head, plants a kiss across his forehead and knees him in the groin with all of her might. Desperado drops, the only part of his body not to hit the floor being the arm that is still handcuffed to the cage wall.
From the floor, Despy can gain a new angle in which to grasp the all important Bolt Cutters. He snatches the up into his free hand, just as Wolverina forces him to his feet. With the bolt cutters in hand, he elbows Wolfie in the eye, forcing her to stumble backward blindly momentarily. He uses the bolt cutters to cut the chain linking the handcuffs together, freeing his hand, save for a metallic bracelet still hanging from his wrist. The cage wall too has a matching bracelet, serving as a reminder of his time spent attached to the wall. When Wolverina manages to gather herself, she is surprised to see Desperado free and hurling himself at her. He slams the handle of the bolt cutters into her cheek, watching again as she stumbles backward from the impact. With that, Desperado Irish Whips his female opponent into the nearest ropes, using the time available to him to swap bolt cutters for a metal food tray. In an attempt to get some momentum flowing back her way, Wolverina takes to the air on the return, lining up a Cross Body at her free opponent, but with a clang that receives an “oooh” from the audience, Desperado swings the metal tray and swats her out of the air. She lands harmlessly at his feet, the merciless Desperado once again looking to take the match for himself.
”Ding… Fries are done!”
”Wolverina should have known that he was going to weasel his way out of that one. Now she is once again looking for Hayden to come and save the day.”
”I must say, that impact just sent shivers down my spine. Wolverina really got nailed by that oven dish!”[/b][/center]
With his opponent down and out, Desperado takes matters into his own hands. Using his veteran craftiness, he wraps the diva up into a Camel Clutch, yanking her head back in the process and arching her back in a way that human backs were never intended to be arched. Instantly, Wolverina’s cries fill the air, as the pain created by the metal fries dish is sent searing through her body from the move.
As Desperado applies more and more pressure to the hold, the screams get louder and louder. However, they do not quite reach the top of the turnbuckle, where Hayden had maneuvered his long time rival. Both men stand atop the turnbuckle, Dragon facing in toward the ring and Hayden facing out toward the crowd with a cheeky grin on his face. Metal Dragon is still attached to the ring rope via lasso, the length of the rope stretched almost to maximum as he stands. Without much ado, Hayden leaps from the turnbuckle, flipping himself over backward and driving Metal Dragon head first into the canvas, the rope attached to his mid-section catching just before MD hits the floor and pulling him down with even more force than usual. The New Zealand legend scrambles to his feet, after doing away with the Metallic One. Only then does he notice the fading screams of his lady. In an instant, Hayden is charging off again, on his white horse to Wolverina’s side.
”Hayden used the lasso for added impact there, making sure that his Top Rope DDT reached the edge of the rope allowed”
”MD’s head was driven into the mat like a lawn dart. My god, he might have lost yet another brain cell… There can’t be that many left by now.”
”Well, lets review. Desperado is mere moments away from finishing this thing. Hayden is picking up an old rivalry with Metal Dragon and Wolverina is squealing like a stuck pig… Yep, sounds like yet another day at the GHW office to me.”
”Not just any other day… NeXuS Day”
Again, Hayden breaks up submission an instant before she slams her hand into the canvas to stop the madness. Desperado is expecting the Jackass to do so, and is not taken too aback when he slides in with his Baseball Slide to boot his larger frame off Wolverina’s body. In fact, all Desperado does is turn around while still on the ground and punch the similarly positioned Hayden clean in the face. The surprise alone would be enough to make Hayden’s nose bleed, but with the added fist, the river of red soon flows from Hayden’s nostrils. Both men scramble to their feet, the other two combatants trying to figure out what hit them and which way up is. Desperado is again the first to strike, spinning around and lining the Kiwi Legend up. With a wildly swinging hand, he swats at Hayden’s face again, catching him with the remaining cuff and opening up a gash along the side of the Jackass’s cheek that Scarface would be proud of. Hayden stumbles back drunkenly, leaving himself wide open for Desperado’s next move.

“This doesn’t look good for Hayden. Despy’s getting in his rhythm.”
“I don’t quite get Despy’s fighting style. One second he’s a ruthless street-fighter, next he’s showing mixed-martial arts and then he’s a mat-technician. Can’t he just make his mind? Jeez.”
“That’s the brilliance in Desperado. He’s got a whole set of different fighting styles he can rely on and using each one; he has advanced through to the final stage just like every other year.”
“But has he ever won?”
“He might do it this time...”
That’s when calamity struck for Hayden, not like he wasn’t already in a state worse than near death. Desperado, just like Fuzz mentioned, had found his perfect rhythm and with both other antagonists unable to compete for the moment, the stage was all set for the fastest hands in Brooklyn. The bloody face of Hayden was subjected to a quick left jab. His response was poor as his attempt to pull his head back from the first strike dragged on until even the second jab had passed. Hayden threw a half-assed swing of his own but the Kiwi was nowhere near connecting. The Deadly and Dangerous Superstar threw forward a machine-gun worth of punches, a barrage so fast and powerful, Hayden didn’t have a chance to counter it. He just stood there like a sand-bag as Desperado showed his strength and exploited the close-combat weakness of the New-Zealander.
Hayden finally managed to step forward and caught the Yank on his lips, leaving an incision in the process. The strike caught Desperado by surprise as did the follow up left hook that struck his cheek-bone. Finally getting a response, the heavily beat-up Hayden became hasty and threw in a rash blow. Despy shifted his weight to his right and side-stepped with ease. This process opened up the whole mid-section to Hayden’s body. Desperado’s strong right flung itself forward, burying itself into the rib-cage of his fierce rival. The scrunch on Hayden’s face said it all with the satisfaction placed on Desperado’s face adding another dimension to the story. The rebound he felt in his fists was convincing and bought Desperado more confidence. And although Hayden remained on his feet, the feeling in his legs was gone. His upper body was numb and his heart stopped a moment. It was time for Desperado to pull out his finishing blow from his bag of everlasting attacks. The MMA specialist bent his knee’s and brought himself down to a crouching position in order to create a spring for his body, before bouncing up in one swift movement. His whole body sprung up from the ground, his fist flew straight and connected perfectly with the jaw of the jackass. Hayden didn’t see where it came from, nor did he know who caused him the pain, all he felt was the immense amount of pain in his brain that followed the break in his ribs. Darkness began to engulf the mind of the 2010 Nexus runner-up before the blackout ensued.
“A total miss-match for Hayden. He should have stuck to what he knew rather than trying to compete on Despy’s turf.”
“He’s totally gone. Knocked off his basket... I don’t even know what he was trying to do. Hayden should have just thrown his whole body in and taken the bastard down.”
Proud and positive, Desperado took an overview of the current condition of his fellow finalists; All down and struggling. The smile on his face widened. The choice was open. Each one of the opponents could be put under the test of submitting. Now for obvious reasons, Wolverina was the easiest target here for Desperado already had her at breaking point on numerous occasions in this final stage. Hayden, not being known to give up, plus his current state where he was in no condition to respond didn’t seem fruitful to the New York legend. His mind was already set before he even considered the other options. The choice was obvious ... Metal Dragon. Nothing would be more satisfying than making his closest rival tap out on his route to victory. There couldn’t be a more perfect set-up.
Still smiling, Desperado made his way to his chosen target. The downed Dragon was stirring slightly, on the verge of regaining consciousness. The sharp eyes of the hunter were quick to notice. The technically gifted wrestler took Rob by his mane. Snapping his neck under the weight of his arms, Desperado squeezed the Tennessean into submission with a sleeper hold.
“It’s a sleeper-hold! Desperado’s pulled out a sleeper-hold! He’s trying to choke Metal Dragon into submission!”
“Desperado’s not to play clean and this match has no disqualifications in which sense this is perfectly fine.”
“Not so fine for MD. I can already see his face gaining colour. He’s turning blue.”
Metal Dragon struggled with the blood-choke, his legs flailing as he attempted to use his weight to break out of the life-threatening situation but this made matters worse. The panicking anti-hero thrashed his arms wildly as he attempted to regain a foot-hold. Help came from an unexpected source but it wasn’t intentionally for that purpose. Wolverina flung her shoulders forward and knocked into the back of Desperado’s knee causing the favourite to drop onto one knee. Although the attack was weak, it was forceful enough to give Metal Dragon the break to prise open the lock Desperado had applied. Desperado caught an elbow to the lip in the process, causing it to bust up. Using the thumb on his right hand, he wiped the blood away before sending a mean, bloodlust glare at the woman who had just cost him the match. MD attempted to catch Desperado out with the attention of the Brooklyn Prince diverted but failed to capitalise on the situation.
Desperado caught the kick Metal Dragon threw at him and halted the attack. Desperado returned to both feet quickly and in one quick motion, both swept Dragon’s remaining grounded leg whilst forcing the other in the vertical axis. Dragon found the mat below his back once again but before the submissions master could lock in another hold, Wolverina jumped onto the back of the former Imperial Champion, wrapping her arm around his neck.
“That’s twice now that Wolfy saved MD’s neck but it seems she’s got Despy’s in her possession now. Let’s see how Desperado fares with the choke hold.”
“Being the masochist that Rob is, I’d personally be humiliated should Haven have come to my rescue. There could be no worse feeling. I would have rather tapped out.”
Ryan quickly turned to face Matt who was fixed upon the situation taking place between Desperado and Wolverina. The words finally entered his mind and after making sense of what Ryan had just said, his expression changed to one that was unimpressed and slightly annoyed.
“Will it ever get old Ryan? I mean seriously, you need to move on.”
Desperado stretches his arm around to the back of Wolfy’s head in an attempt to grab her hair but to his disappointment, he felt nothing but a frizzy scalp. Although his initial plan couldn’t be executed, Despy improvised, wrapping both his arms around the back of the She-Wolf’s neck prior to throwing his legs forward. He forced Haven’s jaw down onto his shoulder by applying pressure to the back of her neck as he sacrificed his footing. Wolverina’s felt her collar guillotined by Despy’s shoulder-bone, causing to fall back and release the hold, rolling around and holding her neck in an attempt to reduce the choking sensation.
Desperado got to his feet once again and made a charge for Wolverina but was stopped in his tracks as Metal Dragon’s frame came in the way, with the ‘Man of Steel’ colliding with Desperado as he rushed in from an angled direction. The collision was similar to a road-accident you were likely to witness in a police-chase movie-scene, except this was far more thrilling and instead of cars, real bodies were involved. Both men fell to the ground, clutching their side’s cursing one another due to the pain they had received. Having received the lighter damage load, Dragon was the first to return to a stance and by doing so finally got an advantage over the his former Stone Orchard ally. It was time to beat some discipline into the ever-so-energetic thug. Taking hold of an electrical cord lying by, MD used the energy transferring tool as whipping weapon, laying its fine body-work into the flesh of the Brooklyn Predator. The Nashville Narcissist exploited Desperado’s situation, bombarding the five-time nexus finalist with lash after lash, leaving a stripe combination even a zebra would be proud of. With his energy running low, MD dropped to his knees, looking to regain a portion of the lost stamina and use it to end the fifth edition of nexus. Using the same weapon, this time as a choking unit, the second half of Stone Orchard coiled it around Despy’s neck and repaid he favour with utmost joy as he watched his fellow finalist turn from pink to blue. Desperado took his hands to his neck, scratching at his own neck, fighting for dear life.
“He’s going to kill him. I said MD’s going to kill Desperado. There’s blood-lust in his eyes.”
“All Desperado has to do is throw in the towel.”
“As if that stubborn bastard would let his fifth opportunity go like that.”
Just in time to save the day saw the return of the jackass. The collector of championships scurried forward and dug both his knees into Dragon’s spine, forcing him to tend to his back and forget about how close he was to victory. Desperado fell to all fours, coughing hysterically and breathing frantically as he tried to regain the lost oxygen. A truly exasperated MD got to his feet, ignoring his pain to let Hayden know exactly how he felt about his intervention, tossing his head forward and further damaging Hayden’s nose with a butt. This caught the Kiwi by surprise but the follow-up swing didn’t. Hayden dodged beneath it just in time. Hayden used his speed to quickly move behind Rob and as his hand finished its swing, Hayden took a clean hold of it. Having thought this out in his head as a counter to Desperado’s boxing, Hayden hadn’t expected to use it against the red-neck but with everything setting up so nicely, there didn’t seem to be a better opportunity to put it into practice. Hayden’s free hand walked around Dragon’s body and took hold of his remaining arm causing a cross between both MD’s limbs. Hayden leapt off his feet and affixed his knee’s into the Metallic One’s back executing a double-knee backbreaker whilst at the same time locking in the Japanese Strangle-Hold, otherwise known as the Straight-Jacket.

Being choked out by his own arms, Metal Dragon slowly begins to fade. The Tennessean's legs kick wildly at first, slowly slowing down as his consciousness decreases. Wolverina sits to the side, not wanting to save MD and prolong the match until the last necessary moment. As she sees the eyes of the 2008 H-Games Winner begin to shut, she charges forward and slides down, reluctantly slamming both feet into Hayden HardKore's head with a baseball slide. The Jackass takes his hands off of MD's wrists and moves them to the impacted side of his head while the befuddled Nashvillian flops over to the side. After attaining a vertical base, The People's Princess wastes no time in grabbing her man by the head and pulling him up, saying "Sorry, but you know I had to..." while doing so. Not far away from Wolfie and Hayden stands the recovered Desperado, who stalks the two wrestlers standing in the match. Seeing that the Technical Tornado has crosshairs on Haven Cassady, Hayden says "Behind you!" The Christian Cornhusker turns around and immediately pushes her arms forward, sending a jumping Desperado far enough away to prevent the DKO he was attempting. The Brooklyn native charges again, going straight into the hands of the couple, who each grab an arm and whip him to the ropes of the caged ring. Despy bounces off of the ropes and makes his return trip, prepared for the Mr. and possible future Mrs. HardKore as his distance to them lowers. The High-Flying Hunk jumps and rotates his entire body to the side, landing in the waiting arms of the happy couple, but forcing them both down to the canvas.
"Crossbody takes out Hayden and Haven! Looks like they're looking out for each other when there's another person present!"
"Hell of a date night for them, if you ask me."
"Desperado now has the advantage! A NeXuS win for him could be destiny, because his whole career has been storied, yet many of his accomplishments don't directly involve winning a championship. This match, however, does take you one step closer to extending your title history..."
"You have three storied veterans and one lady whose young career has been outstanding. For three of the people in this final phase, I think a NeXuS victory cements a GHW Hall of Fame spot. As for Wolverina, winning here would demand the respect she feels she deserves from everyone."
The wrestler with the most experience in this horrid structure pounds the mat with his fist, adrenaline driving his will to finish this match now. Seeing Metal Dragon's battered body slithering toward the weapon-stocked trash can in the corner, Desperado moves in. The Strife Slayer grabs one of the Tennessean's ankles, but the instinct of MD takes over. The Metallic One rolls onto his back and kicks his other foot out, connecting his boot to his assailant's face. Leg still captive, the Southerner throws a second kick into the New Yorker's mug, finally sending him stumbling back. Hayden has now gotten to his feet and approaches the dizzy Desperado, wasting no time in grabbing him by the head with both hands and walking him toward the cage wall. The current champion slings his fellow GHW legend into the steel. As Despy recoils back from the impact, HH catches him before he can collapse to the mat. Not aware of the other two competitors, one of whom is pulling brass knuckles and a lighttube out of the trash can, Hayden leans his victim's body sideways. Weaving his left arm under and then over Desperado's right, he traps the Brooklyn wrestler's limb and uncomfortably stretches the right side of Despy's torso.
"Abdominal Stretch locked in! Hayden HardKore has applied the last two big submission holds in the match! He knows how you win this and isn't screwing around!"
"No more deathmatch weaponry bollocks for him, he wants that NeXuS trophy!"
"Yeah, and Ryan can back me up when I say that everybody's tired enough once Phase 3 rolls around that a submission can happen anytime."
Holding the pair of brass knuckles in his mouth for the moment, MD approaches his two fellow GHW veterans with the lighttube ready to swing. Through playing possum, Wolverina gets up and begins rummaging through the trash can while Dragon smashes the fluorescent light across the Kiwi's back, causing his submission hold to be released. Now putting the brass knuckles on his left hand, the Southpaw Southerner turns around to see Wolverina standing in front of the weapon can with a full bottle of Kentucky Gentleman whiskey in hand. "Somebody knew I was making it to the final," is muttered under MD's breath as he moves in, the Christian Cutie turning the bottle around to hold it as a swinging weapon. When the Nebraskan feels she is in range, she swings the bottle overhead, but her arm is caught by the middleweight. Not feeling that chivalry exists in the NeXuS, Dragon delivers a swift kick to Wolfie's abdomen, doubling her over and allowing him to snatch the bottle of vice away. The Tennessean twists the cap off and takes a healthy swig, swallowing it before taking another and keeping it in his mouth. With puffed-up cheeks, MD watches the future bride of one of his biggest rivals stand up straight. Etiquette being the last thing on his mind, the three-time NeXuS finalist blasts the liquor out of his mouth and into Wolverina's face, prompting the Queen of the Deathmatch to cover her face as the seven-dollar bottle burns her eyes and open wounds. On the other side of the ring, Desperado has slipped his arm free of the released submission hold and spun around. The Technical Tornado drives a knee into Hayden's gut, then slips under the Kiwi's arm and creates a small amount of space between him and his target. Despy then closes the distance, jumping and putting both hands on the back of Hayden's head while both men drop down to the mat, the Jackass's face being slammed into it while the New York brawler lands much more softly.
"And there's Desperado with a Facebuster!"
"And it looks like Dragon gave Wolverina a Face BURNER!"
"Is 'bangers and mash' an appropriate thing to shout in this situation, Ryan?"
"It always is, mate."
Eyes full of cold malice, MD closes the bottle and drops it to the side. Balling up his fist as he watches the blinded Wolverina retreat to the ropes, the American Antichrist licks his lips, feeling like a wolf who sees a wounded doe. Mentally riling himself up to perform the assault he has on his mind, Dragon's eyes go wide before he finally is able to grab Wolfie by the arm and turn her face-to-face with him. The former King grabs the current Queen by the back of the head with his non-armed hand and slams the brass knuckles into her stomach, doubling her over. That strike is immediately followed up by another huge punch to the same spot, then the off-hand moves to grab Wolfie's arm. The brass knuckles next deliver an uppercut straight to the Nebraskan's throat, forcefully standing her up while the grabbed arm allows her to be pulled back in. Indeed, Wolverina is pulled in again by the vicious Tennessean, being forced forward while the brass-clad fist flies at her jaw. As the crowd sits in horrified silence, the Christian Cornhusker crashes to the mat as her attacker nonchalantly pulls the brass knuckles from his hand and utters one sentence.
"This is still my company, cunt."
While the First Couple of the Deathmatch lie sprawled out on opposite sides of the ring, the two former Stone Orchard allies shoot a glance at each other. Both men raise their arms and approach each other, then lock down. Dragon grabs one of Despy's arms and ducks under it while twisting the limb, bending it behind the Technical Tornado's back in a Hammerlock. The Prince of Brooklyn winces in pain before bending his free arm and throwing it backward, the sharp arm joint nailing MD in the face and getting him to back away. The extremely agile Desperado then turns and jumps while swinging both legs upward, the top one hitting Dragon in the temple and sending him spinning down to the surface of the ring. Seeing a steel chair leaning in the corner ahead of him, Despy scrambles to his feet and retrieves the steel weapon. Hayden and Metal Dragon begin stirring, albeit the Kiwi is significantly more composed than MD. Predictably, HardKore is the first of James Daniels' opponents to reach a vertical base, and therefore Desperado tosses the metal furniture to him. Hayden catches the chair just as Despy begins running, then the New Yorker jumps and kicks both feet out, but the wary world champion dodges to the side and swings the chair downward, hitting the side of Desperado's knee. The perennial NeXuS finalist clutches the newest of his aches after landing, and Hayden tosses the chair aside. Oceania's Biggest Jackass quickly clutches the leg that he just struck, stepping one of his legs over it and lifting the kneecap into the bottom of his thigh in an attempt to bend the joint the wrong way.
"And now Hayden applies a Knee Bar!"
"Perfect thing to do when you've just thwacked somebody: Build on the damage quickly."
"Right, and as has been made obvious, everybody's pretty damaged. Something simple and common like a headlock could be too much for a man to handle after all the brutality that everyone's taken."
Unfortunately for Hayden, Metal Dragon has attained a standing position and has an unclaimed chair now in front of him. Seeing that he once again needs to keep the match from being ended, the former New Age Champion wastes no time in grabbing the chair and drilling HardKore in the back of the head with the object. The Kiwi Krusher slumps backward and is given a few moments to stare at the ceiling while the man he just weakened is ripe prey for the Metallic One. Dragon discards the steel chair and pulls Desperado up by the head only to receive a punch to the ribs from the gimp-legged superstar. A quick but effective open-hand chop is then delivered to the Tennessean, which is quickly followed up by the rising forearm of the High-Flying Hunk connecting with Dragon's chin and sending him to the mat. Dazed but not knocked out, the former Dragon's Rage Champion scrambles to a vertical base while the former Imperial Champion waits for him to turn the right way, knowing exactly what lies in store. Once MD faces him, Desperado jumps and turns around, wrapping both arms around his former ally's head. Reacting quickly, Dragon is able to weave one arm through the space between Despy's arms while wrapping the other around his throat. Both men fall to the mat trapped in each others' finishing maneuvers, two necks contorted unnaturally in one descent. The Brooklyn native lies on the mat face-up and the wrestler that went down with him bounces and flops over from the impact to land in the same position, side to side but a couple of feet away.
"DKO AND DEATH METAL! Dragon wasn't able to counter that move, so he ensured mutual destruction!"
"It's a very hard counter to perform because of the speed and precision needed, and as many DKO's and SKO's as he's taken through the years, he's only been able to pull that off once before. That was in a Singapore Cane Match with Dominik Santiago."
"Yeah, and they're both much more beaten up here, and the stakes are higher. Now Wolverina's on her feet and has three bodies in front of her."
"Can she finish the match right here?"
Wolverina indeed has recovered, lightly groaning because the locations of every punch she received earlier still are pulsing with pain. Looking at her fallen fiancee, then back down at the two Stone Orchard alumni, Haven sits down between Despy's head and MD's. The People's Princess weaves a leg under Desperado's head, then puts her other leg over his face and creates a vice with them, a standard Head Scissors. Wolfie is then able to slip one arm under Dragon's head while putting her other arm across his throat, creating a crude yet painful choke hold. Brutalized but still alive, the two men in submission predicaments limply flop around and wince in pain, not having the energy right now to even be offered the comfort of an agonized scream.
"And now it's Wolverina's turn to put a submission hold on, and she applies two! After both men just performed their most devastating moves on each other, it could be over!"
"It's up to Hayden to get his girlfriend off of those two other guys!"
"Nothing he didn't have to do while dating Amanda Hallsworth."
executioners of agony come in tandem as the Double Submission is held. Being a woman, Haven is in complete control of the men. With a squeeze of the legs, she tightens the Head Scissors, further cutting the blood flow to Desperado’s brain. If he were not gasping for air and fading quickly, being in between the Christian Cutie’s legs alone would be enough to cause a similar blood flow problem but in a slightly different way. Despy’s face is flushed read with the strain of simply breathing, turning purple around the edges. Still, his defiance allows him to hold on. Similarly, with a quick adjustment of her free hand, Wolverina is able to quickly adjust the crude Choke Hold applied on Metal Dragon, doing her best to close off the esophagus of the Metallic One and close his cocky mouth for good. Both men look as if their combined Submissions may be enough to seal the deal. As the crowd begin to mentally prepare themselves for what would be the first female NeXuS winner in history, a small flicker of movement from across the ring catches the wandering eye.
On the opposite side of the ring to the trio, the Jackass had begun to stir. Perhaps it was the Ray White-style bedroom grunting and groaning of two men that awoke him, or perhaps it was merely his veteran’s sixth sense, but the Kiwi battler intuitively turns his head toward the trio. As his leading lady threatens to swipe his NeXuS gemstone from his Hall-of-Fame crown right out from under his nose, Hayden is put right in between the proverbial rock and the hard place. When he stands, he does so with his hands on his head. He runs his weathered hands through his hair, the decision tormenting him. Three stages of hell had left his hair matted with both his and others’ blood, and his hands return from his scalp a darker shade of pink than they had begun. The Jackass paces from side to side across the ring, keeping his eyes trained on the Queen of the Deathmatch, silently hoping that one of the men before him would break the submission hold without him needing to assist. The choice had been laid out before him and it is an impossible one…
NeXuS or the girl?
”This hesitation is what makes Hayden weak. There is no space for love in NeXuS. The love is what has kept Hayden as second fiddle all of these years. Love for his precious Amanda that led to the destruction of his career, love for the fans that makes him doubt his killer instinct, and now love for Wolverina that holds him back from doing what is right…”
”… And pulling her away, knocking some sense into her for her troubles.”
”Well, I don’t know. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Hayden and Haven have been doing very well in assisting each other thus far, showing how cohesive they are as a unit. I’m not sure that Hayden wants to bite the hand that feeds him.”
”Oh, come on Fuzz. Hayden HardKore is a future Hall-of-Famer in this business. If there is any feeding in this relationship, then Hayden is not doing the biting. The fact remains, this is NeXuS… Nothing else matters.”
Hayden takes the first step toward Wolverina, his presence still unknown to her. A flash of conscience washes across him before he can take the second step, and he hesitates again, turning away momentarily. The decision still labors on his mind. Biting his lip anxiously, Hayden looks around at the waves upon waves of fans, all screaming in adoration of a legendary match that has lived up to all of the hype. He spots his loyal Jackasses, proceeding to start up a good ol’ Kiwi style Mexican-Wave around the arena, with unsurprising success. The third place his eyes wander to is to the arena signage. Over the top of the Titan Tron is proudly displayed one word; one word that changes all of his mindset, NeXuS.
Hayden nods as he turns back toward the center of the ring, knowing what he must do. This time he does not hesitate or stumble. As Desperado’s face turns a shade of blue and the referee steps in to see if the Revolutionary is able to continue or not, Hayden grabs the official by the shoulder and pulls him out of the way, sending him sprawling into the cage wall for his persistence. His next stop is the shoulders of Wolverina herself. Hayden sighs deeply, obviously not enjoying the decision that he has had to make. Bending down, he grabs Wolverina by the scruff of her neck and yanks her upward. Her hold on Metal Dragon is broken first, the Metallic One slinking back to the mat in a heap, a thankful sigh escaping his lips as he does so. As Hayden continues to pull the Cristian Cutie away from the man-pile she had created, her vice-like Scissor Lock also comes loose, letting the blue and purple looking Desperado also slip from her grasp. Haven is quick to find her feet, screaming in frustration at the betrayal of the man she loves. She turns around, slapping Hayden across the face, hard enough to leave a solid three or four finger slap mark across his left cheek, straight over the top of the gash made by Desperado’s handcuffs earlier. The shot turns Hayden’s head to the side, but the Kiwi weathers the blow without retaliating. A knee to the guts that follows is also met with a stony coolness from the Dual Champion. Wolverina is venting her frustration on the man that caused it, the man who had taken away her own dream.
With Haven not looking like her assault is going to cease any time soon, Hayden decides to take matters into his own hands. Being that there is only so much one guy can take, Hayden eventually pushes Wolverina off him, with enough force that she backs away a good few steps. The People’s Princess takes exception to the push however, and comes hurtling back at Hayden. She kicks him in the chest with a Shuffle Side Kick, the very type of kick that Hayden had trained her to use, sending him flat onto his back. Hayden’s face turns from stony cool to a look of anger in his own eyes. Despite himself being winded, Hayden stands to his feet. Wolverina approaches him again as the Kiwi Legend fumbles around in his pocket. With hurtful eyes that scream of the torment inside his own mind, Hayden throws the Brass Knuckles onto his feared left fist. Etched into the end of the knucks is the Kiwi’s calling card, two H’s jutting out from the knuckle itself, enough to leave an imprint in a victim’s forehead. Wolverina approaches him and he instinctively winds his arm back. Before he can fully comes to grips with what he is doing, Hayden had already swung his left fist forward in his lethal SouthPaw Haymaker. The punch catches the Cutie directly in the forehead, dropping her in mid stride, faster than a ton of concrete. Haven’s lifeless body collapses to the ground, and Hayden’s figure soon follows, dropping to his knees in remorse.
”Power of the South-Paw! Good lord almighty. Hayden just turned on his own woman. Biting the hand that feeds you, the Jackass damn bit the hand off.”
”That’s the killer instinct I was looking for, Hayden knows that NeXuS is bigger than some silly fling. This is history that Hayden could finally be making tonight.”
”Were you two watching the same match that I was? I saw a man tormented by his decisions, forced into drastic actions. I could practically hear him trying to explain to Wolverina that it was something he had to do, and she kept coming at him…”
”Touching story Fuzz, really. What’s done is done. Hayden can’t undo it… But we can replay it. That was a sweet Punch. She went down faster than a two dollar hooker.”
The replays begin to plaster themselves of the Titan Tron, showing the brutal impact of Hayden’s fabled move. The Jackass scoops Wolverina up in his arms, like one would after the leading lady has been assaulted by some punk in a dark alley-way. Only, this punk is himself. He shakes his head, repeating the same words over and over.
”I’m sorry… I’m sorry”
He does not have long to reflect on his decisions before noises alert him to the presence of somebody else around him. Like a terrier, Hayden perks his ears up, lifting his head to see both Metal Dragon and Desperado making their way to their feet. Desperado is still shaky from his loss of oxygen, but Metal Dragon looks in good enough shape for a fight. He makes a beeline straight for his rival, once again. The pair look set for yet another bout of ‘anything you can do, I can do better’. Hayden throws himself to his feet, but Metal dragon is moving too fast. He Clotheslines the Jackass back to the canvas with enough force to send him flipping onto his front in the process. Hayden pushes himself to his feet once again, turning to face his opponent. In the mean time, Metal Dragon had snapped up yet another object scattered across the mat from the knocked over trashcan, a sturdy and simple Kendo Stick. Hayden walks right into is, the stick connecting with the Kiwi’s head, letting out an almighty crack in the process. Hayden doubles over, stumbling around drunk and blind and inviting MD in for another strike. The Tennessean is only to happy to oblige, holding the Kendo Stick above his head and bringing it down like a sword, catching the Kiwi across the top of the back, right in between the shoulder blades. Another crack echoes throughout the arena, and another gasp from the audience. Another welt for Hayden HardKore and an even bigger smile forms on the face of his oldest rival.
”The sound of a Kendo Stick meeting flesh never gets old does it.”
”It is the sound of home. And every time you hear it, it still sounds just as painful as it feels. God, do I ever know how that feels. And right in between the shoulder blades!”
”Well, the Jackass lived up to his name there. He really cocked that up, practically handed his head to the executioneAxe axe by walking in to that shot. I don’t even think he saw it coming!”
As Hayden drops to the ground, flailing about like a trout caught from Lake Taupo, the sound of stick meeting skin is enough to attract the Revolutionary. Desperado stumbles awkwardly across the mat, lining up Metal Dragon. As Dragon raises the Kendo Stick for a third shot, Desperado slinks up behind him, grabbing the stick from behind and stopping its flight in mid-swing. Desperado then uses his element of surprise and kicks Metal Dragon in the back, sending him falling to the mat. In the process, MD lets go of the Kendo Stick, leaving it in the hands of an angry Despy. Desperado flings himself forward, before Metal Dragon can react. He thrusts the Kendo Stick into Metal Dragon’s face, using the item to aide him in locking in his patented Crossface. With the weapon aided Lock of Desperation applied, Desperado turns up the heat, ensuring that there is no escape. Metal Dragon’s launches into a new chorus of cries, the agony of Desperado’s patented move multiplied with the addition of the Kendo Stick. Around the arena, fans and commentators alike turn their minds once more to the possibility of what would be a long overdue NeXuS victory for the once Strife Slayer. Desperado knows it, and so does Metal Dragon, his eyes remaining defiant as the referee steps in to monitor the possibility of him yielding.
”Lock of Desperation is applied, and with the help of Metal Dragon’s own Kendo Stick… That is some bad karma kicking your ass right there.”
”NeXuS is a bitch like that. You make it this far and some prick steals your weapon and beats the hell out of you with it. Metal Dragon had cleared away Hayden and was going in for the kill, now it is him the prey and Desperado the hunter.” ”And the world turns upside down once more. Good lord, I’m getting dizzy just watching this match. Whoever wins tonight would have earned it almost as much as I did.”

Is was useless. Trying to fight out of such a vaunted hold which has been applied so brilliantly, nonetheless by the man who did what Dragon failed twice to do, beat Vlad, was next to impossible by normal means. This revelation seems to kick in as the Tennessean's various attempts at liberation begin to diminish. The ring adjutant peers in closely, attentively looking for any acts of physical or verbal submission. A few muffled words escape Dragon's mouth, the ref not quite hearing them. Closing in, the referee inclines his ear as MD grovels out some more words, the crowd eagerly awaiting the ring official's declaration. Draggles arm snaps up abruptly, his hand grabbing the front of the man's pants, pulling the frail guy onto his knees. A deep, very in depth eye rake comes next, sending the referee away in a blinded and flailing retreat. Desperado knows his moment had just been robbed, not robbed, but 'rawbed', and angrily cranks back on his spectacular hold before finally letting it go with bitter discontent. A mixed reaction from the crowd surfaces, half of them liking the resourcefulness of the Nashvillian, while the other half remain steadfast Dragon haters, wishing for anybody EXCEPT MD to win NeXus 2011. With Kendo Stick still in hand, the Dangerous One brings the GodDragon to his feet and tosses him to the ropes, looking to commit homicide against him on the rebound. The former New Age Champion still has enough wherewithal about him to grab the ropes though, stopping himself. The New Yorker, now even more enraged over being made a fool of, runs forward with stick held high over his head, aimed for the same spot. As he swings down, the crafty Dragon moves to the left, evading the strike as it powerfully smacks against the top colored cable and ricochets back into the Brooklyn Bomber's face.
"Haha, Despy. What's a NeXus without a little bit of comedy, eh Matt?" "I'm pretty sure Desperado wouldn't agree, but I will. That was pretty slick by my best friend." "Dragon is staying a step ahead. Two steps even. There's no telling what he's got up his sleeve now, with Despy back pedaling. A Dragon Spear maybe?" "It's a Dragon's Fire, you gnome! Get it right. And why am I correcting him, Matt? Metal Dragon is your best friend, I'm just the guy who beats you two up."
The weapon recently so relevant is discarded in Desperado's ensuing daze, as the Yank's face becomes a quick Welcome Center for MD's fists. The punches come in bunches as the old saying goes, backing the NeXus Choker into the nearby corner, where he is mounted. Prevailing mightier than ever, Metal Dragon slugs the Strife Slayer from above, his fists alternating and his tongue rolling with obscenities, pulverizing the New Yorker into smithereens. As the 5x finalist continues to be trampled in the corner, from across the ring Hayden's eyes creak open gingerly, his gaze focusing in on the nearest weapon available. Reaching out slowly, his digits curl around the thick links of the Biker Chain, and he brings it in close to his chest as he rises to a crooked stand. HardKore isn't entirely sure where Wolverina is, and at this point he secretly doesn't care. A NeXus trophy had to be won, his trophy, and he was going to do it. The New Zealander quickly picks out his target from afar, it being Metal Dragon with his back toward him. On silent cat feet the Jackass moves into position, stealthily sneaking up behind Draggles while grabbing the excess length of the chain into his other hand. Upon gripping the chain to his liking, Hayden runs a little bit and leaps up, bringing the chain down in front of Dragon's face and pulling back viciously when it drops to throat level. The Tennessean is ruthlessly plucked away from his punching bag, and as he falls, two knees are placed against his body. One patella comes against the middle of his back, the other against the back of his neck. When they hit the canvas MD's frame is jarred sickeningly, making his body jerk and spasm oddly for a few seconds, as though a Priest was extracting a demon residing in his soul. It could still convulse more, but Hayden has other plans for it. With the chain still firmly around Dragon's neck, the Kiwi pushes him onto his stomach and jams a knee into his back, then wraps some more of the links around MD's guzzle, tightening it nice and proper thereafter.
"Dragon finds himself in yet ANOTHER weapons assisted submission. I don't think the man is human. To hell with Stone Cold, Dragon is the true Bionic Redneck. He can't be human, it's impossible." "Oh he's human, just one hell of a stubborn human. He ain't gonna quit, I'm telling you right now. I know the others won't either, so I honestly believe this just might be a never ending saga." "Or until someone dies. Oh please let it be Wolverina."
The crowd sounds off with praise, many of them demanding that the GodDragon concede. He doesn't. Not even as his tongue protrudes from his mouth and his face turns an unnatural color underneath all that blood. There's just no quit in the Nashvillian, not now, not ever. Likewise, Hayden feels the same in reverse order, refusing to give up the hold until Metal Dragon is finished fighting, or living. The Consummate Champion rears back strongly, pulling the Tennessean's head back far and awkwardly, trying hard to make Draggles's head touch the very knee he has planted in his back. Through his promptness, however, the Jackass had not realized the state the referee is currently in, and while a tap out or pass out could be in the works, it would not be recognized. But knowing the circumstances is the Deadly and Dangerous One, who staggers out of the corner with just enough "ummph" in him to deliver a seldom (if ever) used Axe Kick, peeling the Jackass away from the carcass the vultures had been battling over. Instinctively, MD rolls away while prying the chain from around his neck, separating himself from it fast as Hayden and Despy lie across from him. On the other side of the ring from them, the odd person out comes to, her jaw numb and burning. Although her head throbs in pain and she is hazy about her surroundings, the People's Princess remembers all too well the act of betrayal brought against her. For once she opts out of attacking Metal Dragon and greedily bustles wobbly over to her Hero, grabbing up the worn but still usable Kendo Stick during her travel. She finds her Lovey Dovey trying to get to his feet, with Desperado pawing at him from the side. Haven wallops Despy a few times, just enough to shew him away from the man who will now pay oh so dearly for his un-boyfriend like behavior. She brings the stick up, then down with vituperous intent in her eyes; the same look a woman would give her man if she found another girl's number in his pocket.
"Uh ooooh. Here we go. It's all over but the crying now, for Hayden. I've seen that look in the eyes of a woman before, and next thing I knew my clothes were in the driveway .... cut up and shredded." "She's putting away her desire to win this thing, which could be, and probably will be a mistake." "It's hers to make and I support her 110 percent. Hey Hayden.. INCOMIIIIING!!!"
"DON'T YOU EVER.....
Poor Hayden belly crawls away while pleading his case between screams, but the never ending volley keeps slamming against him, his pennants for picking a trophy over love. She follows him like a mother hen across the mat, each swing finding its mark like laser guided bombs unloosed from a jet. The Jackass scrambles to find a weapon to shield himself or use against the stubborn woman, but luckily he doesn't need one. As he looks up one last time to beg for mercy, a pair of arms wrap around the Goregeous Graceling's slim waist from behind, and she's suddenly pulled away from him - up, up, and away. The picture perfect German Suplex, delivered by the only man who can do it perfectly, Metal Dragon, is followed by two more rolling ones, much to the outrage of the fans. On his last one, MD takes a few steps back and hefts her up and over, this time purposely releasing her over the top rope and into the cage wall. Ms Cassady's body bounces from the cage and winds up dropping south in between the ropes and steel structure, folded up awkwardly, her inertia inert. The Kendo Stick used by the vengeful woman winds up in Hayden's possession, as Haven had dropped it when startled into Dragon's attack. He gets up with it ready to fire away at anyone who moves. Opposite him is MD, who'd nabbed up the Biker Chain after getting rid of the pesky woman. Thirdly, and just now coming back into the mix is Desperado, who's armed with nothing more than his fists and a pissed off attitude. Measured glances are shared between the Jackass and GodDragon, each warrior sensing the weaker predator in the battle. Like sharks to blood, the two weapons wielding men set their unspoken plans against the Revolutionary, lunging at him. Hayden and MD swing at his head at the same time, neither apparently wanting to go low at the legs. Keeping true to his namesake, the Technical Tornado ducks under the dual shots and speeds toward the ropes, leaping atop them with great urgency. His assailants turn around quickly in his wake, but just aren't fast enough. The New Yorker has already took wing, his body flowing smoothly into a backflip with his arms slightly out to his sides. He lands vertical between and slightly behind them, snagging both of their heads with either arm as he continues right on through to the mat.
"DOUBLE REVOLUTION!" "I've seen alot of things, guys, but that was just SICK. The man was unarmed against the likes of Dragon AND the Jackass, both carrying weapons, and he came out on top." "In epic fashion too. I am sure I could attach a cool meme to that, but my mind was just blown so bad that I can't think straight at the moment."
The fans shift their attention to the tron showing the replay and the match itself, awe struck and captivated over what just happened. There's no follow up to the scintillating move though, for Desperado lays there taking in deep breaths, his lungs burning with each labored gasp. He'd blown his wad, and for once not in the sexual sense. As the outlandishly long moments tick by, chants of "DESPY!" pick up traction, competing with other chants for Hayden, yet not a one is stirring, not even a mouse. Well, maybe a mouse, "Mousey-Bear" as she is nicknamed in real life. The Queen of Extreme had unfurled herself at some point and now lies just inside the ring, a movement here and a movement there, but nothing significant until the fans begin rallying behind her, evoking her indomitable spirit back to life. Playing to the beat of her people's stomping feet and clapping hands, the mauled Princess sluggishly stands up, only managing to turn once before realizing she is not alone in the land of the vertical. The Yank was with her, turning toward her at just the right time. With nothing to lose and everything to gain, Haven's leg is relieved from the ground, sent flying through the air. It lands on the chin of the New Yorker, a loud "pop!" filling the venue as Despy's mandible is knocked out of place. Strength leaves him and his body forsakes him, sending him spiraling down. The Title Queen lets go, stumbling forward before dropping to her hands and knees next to the man she loathes with an unyielding passion, Metal Dragon. The "Goodness Gracious" Super Kick had spurred a new kind of crowd reaction, a volume great and building shaking, drowning out the excited voices of the stellar commentary trio. The People's Princess would just as soon rest there, she wants to so bad, yet her peripherals catch Dragon milling about, on his side. Out of the buffet of weapons around them, Haven grazes one she's much familiar with. She takes custody of the Fiddle Bow Bread Knife and powers to a stand, a regal posture returning to her battered body. The Queen displays it for the crowd, like a Gladiator would a sword before killing his enemy in front of the Coliseum audience. Metal Dragon gets to his hands and knees when his hand is stomped on, then the other as the first, causing him to yelp as he rises onto his knees, bringing his mitts close to him to nurse. From there he is subdued into a Body Triangle, Wolfie's succulent and incredibly strong legs squeezing him like a python, with his arms trapped at his sides. With no way to defend his head, the Man of Golden Words is quickly subjected to the cruelty of a woman pushed too far. As she goes to work, she whispers utterings into his ear.
"... I sit as Queen, I will not see sorrow, nor the loss of titles. This is your company, damn right. But it's in the middle of my world. And guess what, your ass just got evicted."
"OH MY GOD! HOLY SHI...WHERE'S THE DAMN BUCKET GIMME..." *Before Collin can finish his request, he hurls his lunch up, his vomit spilling off to the side of the table* "You weak ass son of a -" "Matt, what in the HELL are we witnessing?!?!" "The last bit of sanity leaving a woman, I do believe. I know Dragon has a way of pissing women off, but it's never gone THIS far. Ryan, give 'Nancy' the damn bucket, will ya?"
As Ryan scavanges for said item, the Title Queen drives the kitchen device into MD's head, leaving gashes among the root of follicles. Haven continues her handiwork from there, flattening it against him and striking it across, clearing a ribbon of skin off of the surface. Even the crowd becomes grossed and turned off, their cheers falling in volume as the weakling referee cluelessly shuffles back into the carnage. His face turns pale at the sight but somehow he remains professional enough to do his duty. With Desperado down and out still, and Hayden reeling from the after effects of the Revolution, NeXus is all Wolfie's ..... or is it?

1x GHW KotDM Champion (current) 3x EVPW TV Champion (current) 2x GHW Tag Team Champion (former) 2011 NeXus Finalist Victim of the Phantom Rule
The People’s Princess lets out a war-cry that shakes up the crowd even further; her loud voice bellowing from within her lungs to psyche herself up for the win. With Dragon’s filthy blood leaking onto the canvas, a picture worth a thousand words is created as the Nashville masochist find himself begging for forgiveness in his mind although no words leave his lips. From the little consciousness that remains, he can feel the pain cascade through the left side of his upper body as the Hardcore Christian drapes her legs around the trunk of Dragon. Her hands are wrapped firmly around MD’s left arm, tugging away at the limb as it is forced against its will, in the conflicting direction to its hinge joint. The agony was almost unbearable for the veteran Dragon but having experienced so much pain through-out this hell-trip, along with the screaming burn that he felt across his forehead, something kept him from submitting his soul to the pain and ultimately the win to Wolverina.
The pure man inside him wouldn’t allow for such a fate to occur. Perhaps if it were James or Hayden at the other end of the arm-breaker, perhaps Rob’s hand would have hit the mat but not when it was Haven. Mustering up the last amount of strength he carried, Metal Dragon motivated the biceps in his left arm to contract. The mighty Dragon brought his arm half-way up, at a 90 degree angle away from Haven but the Animal Queen was persistent. Releasing Robert for the moment, allowing him to retrieve the arm she had held captive, the She-Wolf pounced upon the wounded prey as soon as the she saw the second opening, having planned to do so, as soon as she had let that arm go. With MD pulling his arm so strongly, the momentum was swaying to the right allowing Haven to force his body onto his front as she kicked her legs through into his back. Being turned over against his wishes, Dragon didn’t even have the chance to lift out his right from beneath him as the weight of his body trapped the healthy limb. Wolverina pounced upon the opportunity, grabbing the left arm of the Metallic One once again, this time trapping the two time NeXus Finalist in a reverse arm-bar.
“Wolverina’s all over MD. She’s not letting him go. I wasn’t aware she was so gifted as a mat technician. That’s definitely not what she picked up in Nebraska.”
“I think Hayden’s training worked well for her. Having always had someone in her corner through-out her career, has given her the chance to train with different people and as such has come to grips with becoming skilled in all areas of fighting.”
“More like Rob’s got nothing else to offer and he’s just a dummy she’s using as a practice session. Those submissions are easy to do in lifeless opponent.”
“I thought Metal Dragon was actually attempting to fight back.”
“Nobody asked for your opinion... And it doesn’t count. You’ve never won the neXus match.”
“I haven’t even been in the-“
‘The Man of Steel’ found himself in yet another submission hold, targeting his injured left arm. Wolverina seemed to be in a world of her own, in her attempts to yank Dragon’s shoulder from its socket. Such was her concentration; she strained her neck back and closed her eyes, the fury evident with the expression on her face. However, little did she know of the man she had nailed with the ‘Goodness Gracious’ was awaiting his revenge. Miss Cassady didn’t know what hit her as the neck she was leaning back on so heavily was brought forward and snapped in one moment. Desperado the culprit, executing a well-timed neck-snap, having flipped over Wolfy’s body, with the result of releasing Dragon from the hold achieved. Desperado made sure to follow up with a dropkick into the back of Wolverina before he turned his attention to his eternal rival.
Desperado looked to take full advantage of Dragon’s current situation but was unable to do so as the final member of the final four got himself involved in the action. Hayden’s body flew in from the right, colliding into Despy’s back, knocking him down before he could capitalise on the situation. Hayden mounted Desperado’s body and began to rain fists into the visage of the man who stole the Imperial Champion from him. The Brooklyn Kings forearms created a shield in front of his face as soon as time allowed it but the damage was already done. A clean strike had slipped through his guard and struck him below his eye, causing the whole area around it to swell up.
“That’s a shiner. Despy’s going to have trouble seeing through that one.”
“It’s always troublesome when the eye is damaged, cuts off the vision and creates a blind spot that affects the awareness.”
“You talk like you’ve actually experienced such a beating. I doubt you’ve ever been in a real fight, let alone in the ring in a professional match.”
“Let me tell you, I’ve actually-“
“-Nobody cares. Now shut the fuck up and let the big boys do the talking.”
Desperado begins to get a good idea of the timing in Hayden’s blows, although Hayden is not really planning out any sort of rhythm. It is influenced by the heavy load of lactic acid build-up that causes each punch he lands to delay its course. Having fought Hayden on numerous occasions, Desperado awaited for his opponent to tire out, making sure to dispose of any dangerous clobbering blows that were seeking a way through. A few managed to slither in via the reduced visionary fields Desperado had access to but none were sturdy enough to cause any more real damage. With the fore-arms of the Revolutionary heavily bruised due to Hayden’s bombardment, it was all about who would give way first; either Hayden’s arms would become too fatigued to continue or Desperado’s guard would become numb to the state he would lose all control over it. It was Hayden who faltered but not due to giving up but Desperado’s unmatched skill in countering. Desperado took hold of a wayward punch that was coming in and lured Hayden’s body closer allowing his left leg to enclose around Hayden’s neck whilst his right bridged across it, creating a triangle or a figure four around his head. Lifting his hips off the ground, Desperado forced Hayden’s body into the hold. With one arm incapable of moving and the bloody supply through the carotid artery, suppressing the oxygen to the brain, it didn’t seem long before Hayden would either tap out to the triangle choke or pass out in his stubbornness not to give in.
“Triangle Choke! This is it... Despy’s-“
“-Not going to win it yet. Isn’t it about time you stopped with your predictions? So far you haven’t said a word that is worthy of appraisal. Why does this guy even get paid?”
“Because he actually commentates on the match rather throwing jibes at the other commentators...”
“Is this hatred and jealousy, coming from the man who submitted to my superiority?”
“My point exactly.”
“What? You want me to commentate on this piece of shit that’s taking place in the ring. Two of last year’s finalists are in there and they’re both doing the same shit they were trying last year. They’re both below my level so there’s not much to commentate on. Despy’s got Hayden locked in a lacklustre Triangle Choke which Hayden will more than likely find a way out of. Both of these guys are the type the carry matches but they’re not the type that finish them. They just drag the whole thing on.”
The crowd didn’t feel the same sort of disappointment that Ryan did. In fact, the atmosphere around the arena was tense. Nobody expected Hayden to give in, yet they didn’t see him escaping out of this one either. The referee was in Mr Hardkore’s face now, pleading with him to endure the agony and give in. The light was fading and his vision deteriorating. There wasn’t much left in him, he knew it and his spirit was still breathing, but he couldn’t see any light at the end of the tunnel either. His body wouldn’t respond to the battle his mind was fighting to keep his consciousness alive.
The striped official lifted the Kiwi’s hand to see if he was still responsive and although his eyes remained open through sheer will-power, the hand was losing patience without the guidance of the brain. His hand refused to respond to anything what-so-ever and dropped right back to the ground as soon as the referee released it.
“It’s not looking good for Hayden. MD’s still not recovered and nor has Wolverina.”
“I think this you spoke to soon once again...”
Just as Matt suggested, both Wolverina and Metal Dragon were both on the verge of recovering; Wolfy clutching her neck from the whiplash with MD still holding the injured left arm. Meanwhile Hayden’s hand hit the mat for the second time.
“I told Despy’s got this. He’s on the verge of winning. Fifth time’s the charm man, fifth time’s th-”
The Fuzz stops his words mid-sentence. He doesn’t believe what he’s seeing. Hayden’s eyes are now closed. His mind seems to have passed into a place that is between conscious and unconscious for his body responded to the calls of the referee and cheers of the crowd through a state of sub-consciousness. Just as the referee released the New Zealander’s hand for the third time, the dazed Hayden held on through something beyond any explanation. “TAP YOU SON-OF-A-BITCH! TAP!!!” Desperado’s voice fell on deaf ears for the almost passed out Hayden, but that didn’t stop both Wolverina and Metal Dragon becoming aware of the situation. Both of their eyes opened up at exactly the same moment and their eyes fell upon Desperado almost immediately. Knowing what a persistent bastard Hayden could be, Daniels didn’t see the point of holding the submission any longer. Wolverina was quicker to her feet than Rob but the crafty Tennessean stuck out his leg just as Wolverina made the dash sending her sprawling across the ring into Desperado’s path, just as the Yank was looking to make the escape.
With all three of his adversaries laid out before his feet, the Mayor of Nashville picked up the nearest weapon he could get his hands upon. His right hand being the more powerful one in his current situation, he leaned over to take the steel chain, planning on using the range to whip his opponents but taking his eyes off the agile She-Wolf wasn’t the smartest of moves. It only took Wolverina the slightest of a second to get across to Rob’s position but the ever so cunning Dragon had already read the game-plan and switched his attention back to Wolfy at the last moment, dodging the haymaker she threw at him and getting in behind her. The position allowed him to bind her head and arm within a lock before lifting her in one quick motion off her feet and bridging it over in a cleverly executed Tiger Suplex 85.
Desperado had patiently waited to see where this was leading and timed his approach carefully. The technical tornado prepared himself both physically and mentally as he approached Dragon and just as he planned it out through his mind, his arms found the head of Dragon just as he went to regain his stance. Having been in this position many time before in his countless encounters with the users of the cutter, Dragon managed to shove his fists into the back of Desperado just as the execution was about to completed. The Deadly and Dangerous superstar landed flat on his back, frustrated at botching the finisher he had planned. Taking to his feet once more, he looked to take on Dragon on even ground but boy was he mistaken for the Dragon had already taken to another weapon. The steel chair collided with the cranium of Desperado before he even had a chance to respond, nailing him to the ground with blood seeping through the cut that had emerged in the centre of his forehead. Dragon turned to see Hayden, at his knee’s attempting to find ground beneath his feet once more. Rob lifted the blood-stained steel chair above his head, looking to bring a heavy ending justice to the Kiwi. Hayden took in a deep breath before lifting off the ground in a sudden fashion. The South-Paw Haymaker met with Metal Dragon’s Jaw just as the steel submitted itself into the skull of Hayden, sending both men to the canvas simultaneously.
“What do we have here? All four of them have just nailed one another out.”
“This is what makes this the greatest neXus final ever.”
“Pfft ... More like the lamest.”

As a mishmash of chants beginning in "Let's go..." cloud the air into an unintelligible bunch of noise, all four finalists still remain motionless, save for their breathing. More blood stains the mat, directly proportional to the length of this edition of the annual three-phase display of barbarism.
"This could be it. This could be the moment that wins NeXuS for whoever manages to come around first."
"So it'll last until Monday morning. Got it."
"In all seriousness, Fuzz is right for once. You're on your feet and have three bodies around you. Which one do you get on first?"
Desperado's arm moves, showing the first real sign of consciousness from any four of the warriors in the NeXuS. The Revolution sees Wolverina's broken form lying close by, and begins the grueling crawl to her location. Hayden HardKore has begun the process of getting off of the canvas whilst the receiver of his left hand moments ago is still motionless, having been hit on a pressure point by the punch. The Prince of Brooklyn reaches Haven's location, then pins one of her arms under his knee and leans forward. Lifting the Nebraskan's head off of the mat allows Despy to slide an arm across her nose, then both arms lock together via his hands. Wolverina's neck is forced to bend backward while her nose is uncomfortably pressed down due to the Lock of Desperation, and her first thought is to reach her arm out. As soon as she does so, Hayden drops down with both fists interlocked, driving his hands into the New Yorker's spine and causing him to release his hellish submission hold, saving the match just as Haven's hand appeared to be ready to slap the mat. The three competitors lie in a pile, all taking more time to recover while Metal Dragon slowly inches toward the trash can on his hands and knees.
"And there's Hayden with the save! All four finalists have been taken to the limit, and Desperado was a blink away from finally winning the NeXuS right there!"
"The Lock of Desperation as a Crossface in itself hurts, and then you have somebody with good strength and nearly flawless technique doing it? That makes the move murderous."
The Jackass rolls off of his fellow GHW veteran and his ex as of a few minutes ago, then takes the chair that MD waffled him with just moments prior. Hayden does a slight repositioning of the chair a couple feet to the side, somewhat nitpicking in itself, but nevertheless a move that he deems beneficial. Next lies the daunting task of picking the dead weight of Desperado up to a vertical base, which he begins. As soon as he does that, Haven begins stirring, trying to attain a standing position herself. Via grabbing of the arm and head, Hayden is finally able to make Despy stand on his own two feet, to which the Brooklyn native thanks him for by punching him in the ribs. The world champion instinctively replies with a blow to the stomach, which is then followed up by a kick to the same spot that makes Desperado completely double over. HardKore pulls in his prey, putting the Technical Tornado's head in between his legs, then wraps his arms around the perennial NeXuS finalist's waist and pulls up. Wolverina is up just at that moment, and seeing her golden opportunity, the Christian Cutie steps forward and shoots a leg out, connecting with someone's chin with a Goodness Gracious once again tonight. Hayden HardKore is the recipient of the kick, which forces him to sit down, planting Desperado's head into the steel chair with a Piledriver just as he planned. Contrary to Hayden's vision, however, is the reality of his consciousness hanging by a thread after the excellent kick. Despy bounces up after the impact and rolls to the side while the Kiwi simply collapses to the mat.
"Goodness Gracious forces a Piledriver a little too early!"
"Now there's only one man she has to worry about, and it's not Metal Dragon."
"What do you mean?"
Fueling himself on the taste of his own blood, Dragon approaches Wolverina's blind spot with a peculiar weapon in his hand. A long stick, possibly a former broom handle, has a water cooler jug wrapped in barbed wire taped to the end of it. The favorite weapon of Stone Orchard is indeed the only man Haven has to fear as it is raised into the air. Wolfie's attention is caught just before the notorious item is swung downward, the barbed wire catching her forehead and the force of the blow sending her to the canvas.
"Oh for God's sake."
Newer GHW fans begin booing MD, but long-time fans soon build up a chant of "Clyde! Clyde! Clyde!", their affection for the elusive weapon strong as ever. MD then places Clyde's jug on the fallen Desperado's chest, and spins his friend around on the flesh. The barbed wire rests on Despy's sternum while Dragon moves his hands closer to the jug itself, finally putting the Man of Golden Words in range to lift his foot up and stomp on the jug. A multitude of barbs dig in for a brief moment, causing MD's former ally to grab his chest and weakly roll to his anterior in reaction to the pain. Turning his attention back to the woman he perhaps loathes most in the entire world, the 2008 H-Games Winner lifts Clyde up once again while walking forward, crosshairs set on Wolfie's face. Just as he prepares to bring the weapon downward, the Queen of the Deathmatch lifts her leg up, striking Metal Dragon in the groin. MD sucks in air and lowers Clyde, making the mistake of leaving the barbed wire-bound jug right in front of his face. Ignoring the fact that touching barbed wire hurts, Haven grabs the jug and slams it into Dragon's facade, standing him up straight. Clyde falls to the mat while Wolverina shakes out her hands and begins trying to get up. The Metallic One takes a few seconds to wobble around whilst Haven grabs the jug on a stick and moves in, swinging it low and striking MD in the stomach. Dragon lets out an agonized gasp before Wolfie drops Clyde on the mat and tucks the former Dragon's Rage Champion's head under her arm. Wolverina then spins around and falls down in one fluid motion, causing MD to do the same, only the Tennessean's back lands on the barbed wire jug. The cylindrical Clyde is forced out from under the Whiskey Connoisseur due to the momentum of the Swinging Neckbreaker, which only makes the barbs cut longer and messier. With possibly her last rush of adrenaline left, the Christian Cutie gets up and snatches the jug with a name back up, then tosses it aside.
"She's in the zone now! Wolverina has total control and could be ready to etch her name into history!"
"This match has had moments where it could end plenty of times already! We've gotta keep our eyes peeled now! It's gutcheck time for these four!"
Wolfie looks up to the ceiling, then at the nearest turnbuckle, which seems not too far away. A shout of "I believe!" begins her journey to the corner, which she begins ascending. Hayden, finally recovered from the kick he received earlier, has taken to moving around the side of the ring. Fortunate that the Nebraskan is looking away, the Jackass walks next to the wriggling MD and drops to one knee. With a chorus of cheers leading her on, Cassady leaps and spins, then begins a backflip while in air. Arm bent for delivery of an elbow upon landing, Haven is taken by surprise when she is instead driven face-first into the canvas. Hayden HardKore snatches the arm that was meant for delivering the Wish Upon A Shooting Star and bends it the opposite way that it originally was while holding it in place, putting in a Fujiwara Armbar that instantly makes Wolverina yelp.
"ARM OF GOD LOCKED IN!"
"It's over now!"
Just as Fuzz finishes shouting that utterance, a recovered Desperado throws the same chair he was earlier dropped on straight at Hayden's head. The attack dazes the Kiwi Champion, allowing Wolfie to regain control of her own arm. Despy makes his way to the trash can full of weapons, deciding to take another look at what he might find. Behind the trash can rests an item strangely ignored in this final phase until now. Two strings sticking out of its circular head, a weed whacker catches the eye of the Brooklyn Badass, and he grabs it without thinking twice. While the other three competitors stir, the lawn implement's string is pulled, causing its motor to let out a hungry growl. On the second pull, the engine starts and the plastic strings of the weed whacker spin around fast enough to create a blur. Hayden and Haven get up and both step over the writhing Metal Dragon, intent on stripping the weapon from Despy's hands somehow. Wolverina is quickly met with the weed whacker to her abdomen, which sends her straight to the mat clutching the fresh wound. Desperado then turns the item toward Hayden, but the Jackass jumps back to avoid it. Now on his feet, Dragon jumps to the side of the weapon and quickly grabs it, shoving the butt end of the gardening tool into Despy's gut. The swift strike causes the High-Flying Hunk to release the gas, ending the threat for a moment. HardKore then grabs the weed whacker while standing on the opposite side of it from MD and swings his dome forward, headbutting Dragon in the face. The Metallic One staggers back while the Jackass swipes the weed whacker, then begins revving it up for his own use. Desperado prevents the New Zealander's intentions by charging forward and reaching his arm across Hayden's face, clubbing him down with a Clothesline. Despy reaches to attempt at gaining control of his weapon, but is pulled away. Feeling one hand around his waist and another under his leg, the New Yorker cannot react quickly enough as the nefarious Metal Dragon lifts him up and falls back, putting his fellow Orchard Stoner on the mat with a Belly-to-Back Suplex.
Turning to the weed whacker, MD pays no attention to the blades, but rather to the gas tank on the other end. After getting up and fumbling around with the tool, Dragon is finally able to detach the fuel cell, and he tosses the rest of the whacker aside once he does so. The American Antichrist turns to the trash can of weapons and quickly grabs a short strand of barbed wire only a few feet long, then makes his way back to the dented and ruined chair that everyone but he has felt the wrath of. MD kicks the chair over to where he wants it, that being a few feet away from the stirring Hayden. Dragon drenches the steel weapon in gasoline before tossing the half-empty tank aside. Reaching into his tights, the Man of Golden Words produces a lighter, one thing that a smoker never goes without. Crouching down and flicking the BIC ignites the fuel, setting the chair on fire. Dragon leaves the barbed wire next to the flaming weapon, then approaches the victim he plans to end. The groggy Hayden HardKore is pulled up to his feet by the vicious Tennessean, who then wraps his arms around the Kiwi's waist and plants his feet. The resilient Jackass does not allow himself to be thrown, instead giving his longtime rival another defensive headbutt. Wolverina and Desperado both begin getting up while the two other competitors start an exchange of punches, both former Kings of the Deathmatch refusing to take the fall on the fire.
"Now we have a hell of a situation! Anyone who lands on that chair is as good as done!"
"Well done, even."
Metal Dragon throws a quick one-two combination that opens up a window for him to scoop Hayden up between the legs. The Man of Golden Words hauls the lighter wrestler over to the ropes and throws him against the cage, making the Kiwi drop to the precarious spot between the steel and the ropes. A flurry of stomps then follow, Dragon holding the ropes and assaulting Hayden's ribs and quickly as possible with his sole. Desperado and Wolverina square off, Despy testing the range between the two with a quick jab. Haven moves in again and a kick is thrown at her, but she catches it and throws the foot aside to spin Desperado around. Once the Technical Tornado turns 360 degrees, his arm is grabbed and he is whipped to the far ropes. Despy rolls with it, building up a full head of steam before he hits the ropes so that he can charge and deliver a crushing blow on his return trip. The Brooklyn native readies himself for contact, but does not anticipate Haven jumping and putting her feet into his stomach while grabbing his shoulders. The Queen of the Deathmatch falls backward and then leans back, then kicks her legs out to launch Desperado in a somersault. As luck would have it, the New Yorker crashes down onto the burning chair.
"MONKEY FLIP ONTO THE FLAMING CHAIR!"
"Stuff like that always hurts to watch, though I suppose I can at least say I'm not Desperado right now. Haven pretty much took him out of the match there."
"I am now legally required to tell our audience that stuff like that is NOT recommended to put out a fire in your home."
Wolverina takes a deep breath, knowing how close she came to being the one who was burned while she listens to the former Imperial Champion flopping around frantically. Metal Dragon ceases his accosting of Hayden HardKore and turns around, looking at Miss Cassady and how she conveniently lies next to the barbed wire he intended for the now-battered denizen of New Zealand. Wolfie rolls onto her stomach, then up to all fours while MD watches her. The People's Princess gets to one knee, taking a look at the chair, the side of it now black from the flames. A final glance at Desperado, who lies on his stomach without a movement or sound, and Haven then decides to get up. The Metallic One charges, and Cassady suddenly sees the ceiling as MD's shoulder slams into her ribcage and he drives her down with a DragonFire. Performing the move causes Dragon to recoil up to his knees, so he immediately grabs Haven's legs and flips her onto her front side. The man who has reached every thinkable accolade in GHW except for winning this very match leans to the side, snatching up his piece of barbed wire. Beginning to crawl on top of Wolverina, MD positions his hands on parts of the barbed wire that won't cut him. Finally, Dragon lets one hand go of the wire and lifts Wolfie's head up with it, then slips the weapon under her chin. The barbed wire is once again clasped with both hands and lifted up, beginning to choke out the Queen of the Deathmatch.
"He's choking her with that barbed wire after a DragonFire! That son of a bitch just struck and now might win the NeXuS!"
"That's how the cookie crumbles, Fuzz. There are no heroes in the NeXuS, just one winner. It's a wrestling rendition of Lord of the Flies."
So after Haven and Desp, this match will be closed.
And just to make it clear if you think the amount of posts each is unfair; I am not including quantity as a major factor in the judgement of this match. Let's not have another stage 2 incident again. >_>
RYAN HUGHES 2x GHW New Age Champ 1x GHW World Champ 2010 NeXuS Deathmatch Winner
There's nothing the Queen can do. Slathered in blood, guts and gore, and mangled beyond belief, Haven's movement eases to nothing more than a fidget here and there. The fans cast jeers at MD, for the heinous nature in which he seeks Miss Cassady's resignation, all of them knowing the Tennessean could've easily acquired her cessation by other means more 'humane'. The GodDragon carries on his atrocious act, plunging the arena into a cowed silence. And for the first time in her life, the Cornhusker Cutie thinks the unthinkable. God had forsaken her. Her Almighty had abandoned her, had hid his face from her, and had withdrew his hand of protection from her. The Nashvillian had been right all along, he was indeed God at this point, and no mercy was to be shown to her, or anybody. Disheartened, the world is forced to watch the last bit of Wolverina's vitality seep from her, her will power non-existent, gone, vamoosed. The Title Queen's hand sifts slowly along the mat as her senses fade, only for it to bump an item she is accustomed to in her life. The People's Princess grabs the lid-less can of Hair spray lickety-split and puts it to work. In a classic spray and pray method, she blindly sprays it over head, left to right, the substance managing to find its way to the eyes of the Redneck Ruffian. At first the stubborn tyrant clings on, refusing to relinquish her, but the burning sensation finally overwhelms him. Draggles releases and retreats, the affliction in his oculars growing rapidly, making him to claw madly at them.
"A simple can of Hair spray folks, and NeXus V remains alive." "Hmm. Looks like somebody expected her to be in the finals." "Dragon needs to quit being a bitch. It was friggin' Hair spray, not mace. Girl's tough though, damn. She was gonna save a shred of dignity for herself by not tapping out, oh but she definitely was well on her way to beddie bye land."
Keeping her saving grace with her, Haven also scurries away, rolling to the refuge of the near corner. The fans have come unglued now, going berserk at knowing the match continues, that their Princess lives on. With all eyes focused on her, the Queen of Extreme looks at the battleground around her, taking in the sight she thought impossible. After what she'd done to Desperado, the bastard is stirring up, not far from him Hayden lurks also. Unbelievable. Upon shaking her head to see if it was real, the Nebraskan desperately looks around for some appropriate weaponry. What she finds is some Memorial Day themed Grill Tongs and a book of matches, which will surely do. As her three opponents conveniently walk, crawl, and slither in the same general location of each other, she busies herself. Fancying herself a female Mcgyver all of a sudden, Haven pokes a hole in the Hair spray can then lites the entire book of matches on fire. From there she tosses the tampered canister in the midst of the three men, with the matches right along with it. As expected, the can explodes after a few moments, sending fiery spray and small chunks of metal against her trio of tormentors. The pieces of shrapnel pepper the men, embedding mainly into their forearms, upper arms, and sides. Nothing lethal, but plenty painful, as evident by the blood curdling high pitched outcries from them as they slosh around with gnashed teeth and agonized wails.
"HAIRSPRAY GRENADE!" "And she got all three of them to boot. HOW MUCH MORE CAN THEY TAAAAAAKE???" "That was pretty damn keen of Wolverina, and you know me, I hate giving that slut credit. And here I thought she labeled herself Queen of Extreme because she thought it was cute."
Metal Dragon got the worst of the exchange, as fate would have it. Not only did he get lit up, he got hit up, literally in the side of the head by a piece of the can that luckily wasn't sharp enough to penetrate his abnormally thick skull. More importantly, he now resides nearest the Princess, causing a thought to pop into her head. Not at all thinking of her plan as a possible NeXus Rookie mistake, she sets out to settle her score with the blasphemer of her Lord and Savior. On his back, the American Antichrist is helpless as a kitten as Wolverina climbs to the top buckle, then takes to the sky. Her upper body stretched before her, the Christian Cutie fascinates the audience by thrusting her musculature into a backflip as she soars, her body arching beautifully, elbow jutting out like a dagger set to stab. The flashes from the cameras and other media devices give the scene a starry backdrop as her aerial artistry is put on gallery for viewing. At the last possible nanosecond, that final fraction of a second, Desperado comes into view. With quickness so mind blowing that the speed of light wishes that it was faster, The Yank strikes. The EXACT moment Haven's elbow slams into the bullyish Tennessean's chest cavity, her non damage dealing arm is seized and trapped between the Revolutionary's legs, her head quickly winding up secured and contorted by Despy's powerful arms thereafter. It only takes a slight adjustment, a mere few scoots of the body for Desperado to pull her from atop Draggles.
"Lock of Desperation! Haven Wished Upon a Shooting Star and go her wish, but Desperado just cashed in on it. He just... just..." "He just won Nexus." "Did he teleport or something?" "No he didn't. Desperado just plotted out that whole scenario better than anyone I've ever seen. Nobody can be that syncronized with their opponent's movements... yet somehow Despy was." "I would have DKO'd her ass."
Yet again the human wash rag of Stage Three, Wolfie, is hurled into a submission predicament. Fortunately for her, this time her stay in the hellish hold is short lived. The Jackass wizzes in like a mad man, his arms bleeding profusely from Haven's little conflagration-in-a-can experiment, but still having enough fortitude to kick ass. The Kiwi is livid, and carries with him a Barbed Wire Noose. No more Mr. Niceguy. His brain runs rampant over the monopoly of barbaric brilliances stored within, his mind being made up for him as he looks at the cage, then to the unsuspecting New Yorker. Without even the slightest hesitation, he tosses the looped end around Desperado's head, tightening it at the neck, choking the NeXus Choker and appreciating the irony of it all. HardKore tugs hard on it, then pulls and pulls, ripping the Brooklynite from the marred and disfigured woman he was just abusing. The Deadly and Dangerous One, although bigger in stature, is coerced to a stand and herded like livestock for a bit, before Hayden twirls him like a carnival ride, whipping him straight into the cage wall. On the rebound, Desperado's clock gets cleaned by a Clubber Lang style Haymaker, with the excess barbed wire being wrapped around Kiwi's knuckles just to be a prick. The New Yorker drops almost gracefully, and is unaware that the New Zealander has tied the extra wire to the cage itself.
"Jesus! Is this a night of themes? Despy is again fastened to the cage, just like he's been in each Stage. Haven remains the pass-around-submission ragdoll. Hayden stands tall as the perennial abusive boyfriend. And Metal Dragon, well, he should've never made it into Stage Three in the first place so we'll scratch him off my epic commentary rant." "Well, themes or not, Hayden just made a very clever tactical move. He's eliminated one man from the problem, now all he has to do is go in for the kill." "I think Despy is destined to lose this again. I mean, like I've said before, it's just his fate to lose these things." "Desperado has already lost this match, fate just hasn't built up the courage to tell him yet." "Uggh, look at Despy; his neck is just.... gruesome. His jugulars could've been sliced for criss sakes."
Sniffing the air, an animistic side comes out from the fan favorite Jackass, as he approaches his leading lady. The Kiwi shakes his head in a mixture of amazement and frustration as his one and only someone weakly slaps him on the knees and thighs, the offense being all she can render at this point. The Consummate Champion pulls her up when she feels the vibrations of MD's footfalls behind her. The American Antichrist was coming fast, having recovered enough to do so. Enamored for Wolfie's total demise, another Dragon's Fire Spear awaits her, this time to her back, to where hopefully he'll paralyze the bitch. Wolverina is alert though and jumps up, doing lethargic Cheerleader splits as Metal Dragon's body passes harmlessly below her. The Jackass is swept away though, like a leaf in a strong wind, his body gutted and all but split in half from the destructive move. To add to his plight, HardKore's back slams against a set of Light Tubes in the corner that one of them, perhaps even himself, had set up long ago but had not used yet. They shatter, littering his back with shards of glass, white powder rising from the impact zone.
As HardKore slumps to the bottom buckle, Metal Dragon re-asserts himself and his plans to topple the Princess, to once and for all destroy the little "Queendom" she enjoys with her fans. A Sledgehammer should do the trick. Picking up the weapon, the Southern Southpaw makes quick work of lofting it over his head, approaching his prey from behind with every intention of splattering her head all over the place like a Gallagher melon.
"... I told you, bitch, this is MY company. No room for you in it."
He looms there, salivating over the slaughter to come. As MD's eyes narrow with malice, tuning in on her like a sniper before the trigger squeeze, the Queen of Deathmatches spins around on her knees, facing him. She brings forth no weapon against him, at least not any in the can. This weapon is personal. There, in full view of God and Country, are Haven's bare, magnificent, voluptuous breasts. Her attire has been split in half by her own doing, her bewbs held delicately in her pristine hands as a GodDragon and a GHW Universe look on in total, complete, shock.
"BEWBS!!!!! WE HAVE BEWBS!!!! She's finally using her assets, I mean, breastsets." "No, we don't. She does. I'm Canadian, but damn it, GOD BLESS AMERICA!" "I can't believe my eyes. I just can't believe it. Is this really happening?" "Yes it is you fag! What? Have you never seen a pair of jugs before?"
MD quickly becomes enthralled in the sight he has longed to see, just like everyone else. What's more, she seems to be inviting him to play with them. He takes the bait, or so she thinks. As the Man of Golden Words reaches for the majestic sight, his fingers cloying wildly, he suddenly grabs the nipples and begins twisting and ripping at them violently, causing poor Haven to scream out like a banshee.
"NIPPLE TWISTER SUBMISSION!!!!!!" "HOLY SHIT! He's gonna make her tap... TO THAT?? "You forget, my boy MD has seen many a bewb in his day. He wasn't fooled in the least by Haven's sexy yet cheap little ploy."
Out of nowhere, and last resort desperate, Haven retrieves a small packet from her attire and tosses the substance into his already damaged eyes.
"... uhhh, what?" "POCKET GLITTER!" "Who the hell brings pocket glitter to a deathmatch? And, Fuzz, I don't wanna know how you knew that."
Dragon falls onto his back, hitting a few odd weapons on the way down, forcing him to clutch at his back. Wolverina is right atop him, mounting him and placing her knees at the bends of his elbows to keep him at bay. She then lays her boobs onto his mouth and nose, depriving him of precious oxygen as she uses her arms to maintain head control. The crowd is in absolute hysteria over the single coolest moment in GHW history.
"It's OVAH! She's got, of all things, the BREAST SMOTHER submission hold locked in." "Dragon ain't gonna lose this way, no way." "I dunno, Matt. Right now he isn't moving. Not sure if that is because he likes this hold or he has succumbed to the person that is the sum of all that he hates."
Now comes her rebuttal from his words spoken earlier.
".. You're an absentee landlord, prick. Now enjoy the view from titty heaven, bitch!"

The attention of the crowd soon turns to the self-proclaimed messiah of pro-wrestling as he cries out to the world, battling it out against the barbed wire that had him ensnared within their shards. Being one accustomed to pain, Desperado allowed the barbs to constrict around his wrist as he attempted to break free from their mighty grasp. The strength and determination finally paid out as the wiring gave in to the will-power of the high-flying hunk but the damage had already been done. Desperado walked away from the cage, his healthy hand supporting the one that had encountered the torture. His feet were staggering and his brain pounded hard against the skull that surrounded it yet Desperado did not yield to the side-effects of the blood loss. The adrenaline was more than enough to carry on his fight.
His eyes fall upon the ordeal Metal Dragon is receiving at the hands, or more correctly breasts of the only one to carry such a weapon in this match. On another day it would have brought a smile across Desperado’s face but that wasn’t the case today for his mind was only set on one thing, the win. Taking the She-Wolf by the scruff of her neck with a single hand, the NY citizen disposed off her, throwing her frame into the barbed cage that encircled them. Desperado paid little to attention the bald woman’s figure, his brain only registered one thing. She was the enemy as it was his job to make sure she stayed down. Wolverina not being one to admit defeat to a man lifted herself off the ground and challenged Desperado to a one-on-one contest but going up against Desperado in such a state was the worst mistake she could have made. The Brooklyn Brawler was only seeking to inflict pain. Just as Miss Cassady began to take a vertical stance, the boot of Desperado brought judgment down upon the knee of the lady, striking it at such an angle where the leg was the weakest. The knee was struck on the side of the leg with such force, the leg capsized from the pressure. The angry Yank didn’t stop there. He raised his foot once more as Wolfy dropped to her knees from the potentially broken leg he had caused her. Her eyes watered and there a sense of apology and pleading in the look she gave the man who had her at his mercy but the verdict had been signed. There was no compassion in the eyes of Desperado as he showed his true ruthless self. The sole of Desperado’s leather boot make impact with the face of Hayden’s fiancé not once or twice but over and over again as he looked to put her out of her misery.
“And he’s snapped poor Wolfy’s leg in the process. He’s going to kill her if he continues going on like this.”
“This is why they call him the deadly and dangerous superstar. He lacks that self control and it leads to the blood crazed monster you can see in that ring right now. I’ve seen him like this before. This is the point where he loses all sense of the situation and goes into ape-mode.”
Hayden begins to rouse and the first sight he is welcomed to be not one he had wished to see. The woman he had declared his love to being subjected to a trial of torment and suffering. Something ticks inside Hayden’s mind as he throws away everything else that he had been contemplating for the only that mattered to him at the moment was Haven’s safety. Mr Jackass clambered to his feet as fast as he could, refusing to resign to the exhaustion of his body. The butt-hurt boyfriend of the people’s princess rushes toward the out of control Yank who has a smile of satisfaction on his face, having grown bored of playing with the naked woman. He allows Hayden to tend to Haven’s wounds as he moves over to the recovering body of the God-Dragon. Desperado knee connects with the cranium of the worst man to ever step out of Tennessee. Hayden takes a look into the blood-covered face of his beloved and a fire enrages within his body and soul. The world around him is now spinning for the concern for Wolfy along with the lack of energy and hatred for Desperado are all swirling into one Hardkore emotion. Having invigorated the new found passion in the Kiwi, Desperado was ready for Hayden’s angry approach and had predicted the prophecy when he had set out to hurt Wolverina but what he hadn’t expected was the power behind the fuelling. The two men approached one another in the middle of the ring for a showdown and although the malevolent figure of Desperado towered over Hayden, it was the smaller man that looked more threatening. The two men locked up in the centre of the squared circle in a showdown of all showdowns. Hayden immediately came out on top and threw Desperado into the ropes. Brooklyn’s finest took the force of the rebound and used it to his advantage, powering in a clothesline that could swipe the neck of a man’s body but that attack was futile against the agile Hayden who shuffled across to the right and stuck out his knee to catch Desperado with a kitchen sink. The revolutionary leader flipped 270 degrees in the air and landed flat on his back, the momentum carrying him several feet away from Hayden but the wrath of man from down under was far from over.
“This is revenge Hardkore style and Hayden isn’t planning on letting Despy off the hook so easily.”
“I reckon with this new found rage, Hayden could actually win this thing. It was the one thing he had been lacking all match, true passion and reason to win.”
Desperado begins to crawl away from Hayden as the man with intent approaches. He places his hands before his adversary, pleading for forgiveness although he had no right to do so. He hadn’t expected Hayden to show him any mercy either but it gave him enough time to throw a quick finger into the eye of the man from the southern hemisphere. Desperado followed up with a double footed-kick into the gut of his assailant forcing him a few feet back. This time it was Desperado turn to fight back and he threw every right, left, hook and uppercut he knew but it wasn’t enough to keep the kiwi occupied for another South-Paw Haymaker escaped through the onslaught Desperado had used to try and suppress his adversary. The attack barely missed its full connection but had startled Desperado despite only grazing his jaw ever so slightly.
“Desperado’s going to feel the effects of that haymaker despite it only making the smallest of touches. The jaw lines right to the brain and an attack like that will fuck up your motor-sensors. I doubt Desperado will be able to stay standing for much longer.”
“I could tell that much just by looking at him. No need for the bullshit scientific explanation.”
Knowing full well the effects of his punch, Hayden knew Desperado wasn’t going anywhere soon. He charged across the ring and used the ring-ropes as a slingshot to boost his run. The highflyer caught Desperado around the neck with a tilt-a-whirl head-scissors, moving his body across Desperado’s head, swinging his legs around catching the bastard into a floated DDT before switching to a fujiwara arm-bar just as the deadly and dangerous star hit the deck.
“He’s got him. The Arm of God is locked in. Now God will punish Desperado for his against the Christian Cutie."
“Get over you obsession with the damn woman. We’ve seen her tits now. I think we’re about to have the neXus Five winner crowned.”
