A nervous Hayden HardKore paces up and down the dimly lit corridor, knowing that his livelihood and pride are on the line tonight. As he walks, he fidgets with the wrestling tape that dons his wrists and hands, adjusting it to suit. The New Age Championship dangles from his left shoulder and the Charging Glory Championship from his right. However, he soon stops dead in his tracks, a shadow falling upon the concrete wall from a source off screen moving into position. Hayden sees what the camera does not show, he looks directly at the source of the interrupting shadow. His eyes flicker with recognition, but not the type of recognition one reserves for a family member. It is much like recognising an attacker from a police line-up. Hayden's eyes flicker with a strong dislike, yet he stops nevertheless. "Oh, you... Long time no see.
You had better have a good reason for this, I'm really not in the mood for your crap right now. In case you haven't noticed, I have a bit of a big match coming up..." [/center] TBC They know who

"Then we have something in common..."
The voice is not long followed by the complete emergence into camera view of one Dominik Santiago. The glaring eyes, the scolding scowl of Hayden Hardkore convey the story all too well; a story of dislike and repulsion toward one of his more documented rivals. Smiling in his usual smug fashion, the Assassin addresses the New Age Champion, much to the Kiwi's chagrin.
"I know what your going through Hayden. The feeling of the deck being stacked against you, the feeling of playing with a bad hand when your opponents all have better ones. The feeling of the odds not in your favor, much like mine back when you stole the New Age Championship from me back when you were dawning tights and a mask. But I'm not here to cry over spilled milk..."
"Then what are you here for?"
As Dom ponders himself, Hayden attempts to rise to his feet, the Assassin very firmly places his arm on Hardkore's shoulder, inviting the dual champion to remain seated. Reluctantly, Hayden obliges, his level of discomfort continuing to rise the longer the Lord of the Flies is in his presence.
"Don't get yourself worked up Hayden. I'm not here to fight you, not yet of course. As you know I'm a visionary, and I have a vision of where I want to take GHW. And for that vision to come to fruition, I need to become New Age Champion. There lies the dilemma, for that belt rests along your shoulder. Now I could be licking my chops at the prospect of you getting what you deserve, and losing the belt to one of those three inbred ingrates, or my ally Kahlan, but I have decided otherwise."
"Instead, I'm coming here to wish you good luck, and give you my support."
Hayden's eyebrows cock with befuddlement, deep down knowing all two well that he could be falling right into the trap. Looking to get to the bottom of Santiago's sincerity, and find his ulterior motives, the Kiwi responds.
"I find it hard to believe your endorsing me without something up your sleeve. So I'll ask once, what yours aim Dom?"
The Legion leader chuckles to himself.
"It's simple Hayden, I'm a competitor, and your the only man left who can light a candle to me. But more importantly your the biggest cancer plaguing GHW. As this company's savior, my vision can only come true through eradicating you. I must destroy the hero of this cess-pit. I will only fulfill the Legion's goals, and get ultimate revenge by defeating the man who stole my championship, and winning it back."
"That's my motive Hayden. I need you to remain champion, only so I can pry the belt from your clutches myself. You and I both know there's nothing bigger than Dominik Santiago vs Hayden Hardkore. So here's a tentative peace offering, and a challenge for some time in the very, very near future... "
Dominik extends his hand, Hayden not knowing what to do, conflicted between letting bygones be bygones until further notice, or rejecting the Assassin's proposal.

Dominik's hand is extended, wavering in the air as the Kiwi makes up his mind. Hayden takes an extraordinary long time to thing, all possibilities running through his mind. When he finally takes the hand and shakes it firmly, he does so without a smile on his face. He looks Santiago straight in the eye, knowing that one way or another, the peace would not last for long. Dominik seems to smile, ever so much as the Jackass makes his choice.
"There you go..."[/i][/b]
Hayden does not seem to share the same joy in the arranged marriage that had just been formed. Santiago shoots the Kiwi a knowing looks at the handshake comes to an icy and awkward end. The silence that follows is only broken by the voice of the Kiwi himself.
"You try anything and I will destroy you Santiago, that is a promise. You talk of cancers and sess-pools, you speak of being the saviour. Well, I am GHW... So if you want to change the world, you had better be prepared to back your words up.
I'll be seeing you before too long, whether this title is mine at the end of the night or not, you can be assured of that. I couldn't give a rat's ass as to what your plans are. You want the gold? Get in line like everybody else and damn well earn it.
For now... I have bigger fish to fry. I'm watching you... Saviour..."
Hayden adds the last word with an edge of sarcasm to his voice. His warning rings true, resulting in both men doing their best to stare out the other person. With both titles still around his shoulders, the Kiwi pushes past his rival and exits the scene, leaving Santiago standing in the middle of the screen, an ambivalent smile on his face and a million questions left unanswered.
