Thanks, man. I'm so excited to RP, thanks. Anyway, what's the first thing to do? This is just my second time in a Wrestling RP. I do know how to RP but I do not know when and who am I going to fight or what. Would you mind explaining every single bit about it? Like the Match Card, Match Interruption and stuff. Thanks a lot.

Sorry to double post but I can't see the "Edit" button unlike Forumotion. But when do I fill up the "Biography" section?

It is entirely optional for you to do so. You can wait until you've had a few matches here to beef up your Biography later if you want. Also, the "edit" button you speak of is called Modify. Can be found in the top right of your post along with quote and delete. As for your first post. Basically, there are two shows, GHW Live and Tuesday Night Triumph. Being a newcomer, you will start on GHW Live. When a match card is posted, you will know who you are RPing against for that week. You then go about taking turns RPing your match with your opponent, until the card is closed 7 days later. We then judge a winner based on who we feel wrote the best stuff in relation to their match. Sorry about that dumbing down, but some people think match RPing and Promo based RPing are one and the same. As for now, however, there are boards where you could write a short segment introducing your character if you want to. Choose which one you would like to base your segment around, and begin to write! I think that covers the bases well. If there's anything else, feel free to ask around.

Thanks man, where do I see the "Match Card". Do we use Real Time thingy in the matches? Please tell me once you add me to the roster, I will be posting my debut introduction with my intro on it so please add it as well. I'm the big dreamer, sorry. What if the match is not finished within 7 days due to timezones like other is on when other is off then other goes off then the other goes on.

- The Match Card board is located under the "RP Shows" category in the forum. The show you will be competing on is called "GHW Live!"
- There are 3 sub-boards to each show and PPV: "RP Match Card", "RP Matches" and "Results".
- Match writing is collaborative between yourself and your opponent. After you each post your entrance, the match begins. You and your opponent will take turns writing a bit into the match and posting it in the match's thread. The match stops when the deadline is met and when the booker/judge declares all the matches over (See Match Card for deadline).
- As for timezones, the deadline will be a neutrally set time zone which is usually GMT+0.
- TNT takes place every Tuesday (except for PPVs and exempt holidays). When there's a PPV taking place, TNT is off air for the two-week duration of the PPV. The Tuesday following the judged PPV card, TNT begins as normal.
- GHW Live! is a more relaxed environment and takes place during PPVs for those of whom did not make the PPV card or joined during a PPV (as you did). The GHW Live! Card currently operates under a sign-up system; which simply means if you want on the card, you reply to the sign up thread in the GM's Office.
I'll be adding you to the roster very shortly, perhaps now.

Well I am about to sign myself in then. I ain't going to make an intro thread, I'll just debut when my Match Card comes. How do you interrupt matches? Do you just barge in and kick ass?

Anything can be done, as long as you ask permission of anyone you involve. Just shooting them a PM beforehand would work. As for match interruptions, we don't usually see them during matches, but after a card is over and a winner is decided, you could ask said winner if you could write an ending where you cost the other man the match, or you beat down the winner for example. Just remember to always ask permission, and to keep realistic. For example you wouldn't want to interrupt in a high profile match like the main event of TNT yet, because you are just a beginner and the crowd would be like "who the fuck is this?". But as long as you talk things through with others, you could set up a nice feud or partnership, and those types of things get you noticed in GHW.

You're the third person in the last week that has said they will be destroying me. Shadow, I have died three times (in character) and always come back.
Oh, I'm also the current LIVE booker. I'll place you in the first match of the special Two weeks live card since no one has started posting yet.

Bring whatever you have! Bring me your champion, bring me the best of y'ah all! Give me your Batista! Give me your Chuck Norris! I don't care, I will dominate! Thanks for the help people, I really appreciate it. I will be checking the Match Card then. Give me a strong opponent. But hey, debuting on a main event and screwing the heel Fighty fighty person of that match then doing a quick leave after attacking kinda makes me look epic in some sort, maybe I'll go with a Heel Turn soon.
