The scene opens up backstage, with Charlie Coors smiling at the camera, ready to introduce the individual he will be interviewing in the next segment of this edition of Triumph. Neatly entering his practiced and well rehearsed patter, Coors adresses the GHW Universe.
My guest at this time, one half of the GHW Tag Team champions, Mighty Man Millson.
The crowd boo as the egotistical Englishman walks into view, face stony after his loss in the Tower of London match, a slight limp obvious to all as the Whitby Wonder takes his place next to GHW's resident interviewer. For once, he is seen in casual clothing, a black Adidas T-Shirt on his chest, trackies and trainers making up his attire for this interview.
Well, Mighty Man, first of all, congratulations on a great effort in the Tower of London match.
Millson stares at Coors, eyes brazen with contempt, before shaking his head and looking away from C2.
OK, my first question is this. What do you make of Ryan Hughes as the new GHW champion?
What do you think, Coors? He's my tag team partner, one half of the GHW Tag Team champions. I'm happy for him. Finally, England is being represented in the wrestling world with not only the best tag team in GHW history, but with the two best singles Fighty fighty persons in the world. And now, Hughes has the gold to prove it. Of course, had I not been robbed of my King of the Deathmatch title by Nicholas Carson's weakness in being pinned by Dustin Delta, we would both have the gold to prove it.
OK, well that brings me onto my next question. What do you aim to do now that your King of the Deathmatch title opportunity has come and gone?
Millson smiles and nods his head.
No, no, no, no, no, Coors, my title opportunity is not gone. You see, I was never pinned nor made to submit in the Tower of London match and if I was medically cleared to compete tonight, I would be in that main event, proving that I deserve another shot at the title. As it is, I will have to wait, but next week, I'm back and I don't care who Grimey C. Whiskey puts in my way, I will knock them down on my way to the title I have never held but always deserved. And with Nicholas Carson retiring, I am the obvious choice to face Delta. Jack Tracks might feel he deserves another shot but out of the two of us, which one puts up a more marketable main event. Exactly. And Desperado might have wanted to prove a point by interfering in my match on Sunday, but he's just a has been or a never will be, take your pick. So Delta, I'm putting you on notice, because you and me have some unfinished business that goes way back to when we were feuding over the Television title.
We produced the first ever drawn TLC match, we were partners in the Outcasts and this Sunday, you took the King of the Deathmatch title, that was mine by right, away from me. But you have never pinned me or made me tap out and I the same with you. Something has to give, this town ain't big enough for the both of us, throw in all the cliches you want. But you and I need to finish what we started and one of us needs to be victorious when the dust settles. Think about it, Delta, think really, really hard about it. Because the King of the Deathmatch title...NEEDS...MORE...MILLSON!
Millson turns and leaves to end the segment.
