Triumph returns from commercial break after the Tag Team championship match.
What a show it's been so far Al, We've only just begun and we've already seen GM Dow Jones reveal two matches for Dawn of Destruction, Wolverina get justice against Buster Cherry for his decision at Blood Runs Cold, had a tag championship match and Vince Vegas interview the Logging Crew on that mindless segment he calls "glory and Gossip".
A busy night indeed Fuzz. "Vicious" Vince claimed his rightful place as the King of the Death Match tonight on that show! I wouldn't call it mindless. Show some respect for the champ.
The Champ? You can't be serious. We all saw the double count out at Blood Runs Cold. Vince didn't have what it took to become champion. You're always pulling for the wrong side Al, and this time I think you're pulling too hard.
I spoke those same words to your mother Colin.
That shut Colin up fast. As much as he hates it, there is no changing the fact that "Big Al" violated his mother in ways that no son should ever have to hear about. The tension is interrupted by the voice of Charlie Coors standing in the ring, ready to announce the next match.
Our Next match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, hailing from Las Vegas Nevada, standing 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighing in at 235 pounds, He is the STAR OF THE SHOOOOW...
LL Cool J's "Mama said Knock You Out" begins to play over the sound system.
As the line "Boom! Explosions!" plays, Vince appears from behind the curtain hopping on one foot raising one arm in the air, raising the fake KOTDM championship high above his head. Vince is still wearing the neck brace from his injury at Blood Runs Cold, and, after taking one too many hops, holds his neck in pain.
He is met by his usual chorus of Boo's and alcohol induced insults, as well and scattered "VIIIIIIIIINCENT" cheer coming from the nosebleed section at GHW arena, where the real fans sit.
As Vince makes his way down to the ring, he drapes his so-called title over his shoulder, as the camera zooms in it. Although it is a passable replica, it doesn't glimmer in the light the way the real title does; it doesn't have Dustin Delta's or Hayden Hardcore's name engraved on the side; it doesn't have the history that a real championship strap has that creates the mystique around it. It's just gold and leather.
Regardless Vince carries it proudly to the ring, believing wholeheartedly that he is the rightful champ. As "Vicious" Vince prepares for his match, he is about to hand his title off to the ref, but stops. Could he be coming to the realization that he is not an actual champion; that all of this is a ridiculous defense mechanism for not admitting when another man was better?
Apparently not. He kisses the fake King Of The Death Match Title and hands it off to the ref as he waits for his opponent.
