Damn labtops! I was really looking forward to this weeks show! How does the wireless connecton work on a labtop? I was thinking of getting a labtop but wasn't sure how to do the interenet, all you need to do is buy the card right?

just about any laptop that you buy now adays will come with a built in port to connect to a wi fi network automaticly you can buy a card but you really don't need one. The only pain in the ass thing about a wireless connection is sometimes finding a wi fi hot spot that you can use.

Does it ever fade in and out in one spot or anything? Or is there always a spot that it works good? How big of a hassle is it to find a wi fi spot?
I think i'm going to get one cheap during one of those sales before thanksgiving....

its kinda old. SLow. They run out of batteries easier than one thinks, so not really that portable. Kinda useful for doing essays on if you want to do them in front of the tv though. They feel really crammed, like when you type on them, and those damned mouses are freaking annoying, and my USB wireless mouse never has any batteries so I'm stuck with the damn pad mouse thing... Arggg. I would just prefer a desktop

How long they last till they run out of juice and you have to recharge them? And that's true, didn't think about the mouse part and the cramped keyboard....

Laptops arent that bad are they? Lol, im on mine now and i find the mouse pad a lot easier. My battery lasts about 1 hour 30 mins... but thats cause im always playing music haha. If you have a wireless router in your house somewhere, the connection to the internet should work anywhere in the house. I always use my laptop in my Bedroom and the signal strength is excellent. I thought about having the internet connection problem at first, but im so glad i got my laptop. Make sure you have a wireless router nearby and you wont have a problem

I am sorry I have not finished the next top 10. I already have the top 10 list. I just need to write it out. Just the past week has probably been the busiest week of school I've had all semester. So bare with me. Just wanted to make sure I didn't forget you all.
