Biography – Before wrestling –Giordano was born and raised in the Netherlands. He was an athletic and musical fellow through his entire youth. From the age of twelfth he started playing the saxophone. Giordano was very talented and started playing at local jazz-café’s. He was scouted and moved up in venues. In the mean-time he did a study in philosophy. After his studies he finally accepted an offer from a New Orleans jazz-promoter to join a band to tour the region. Giordano went to New Orleans and toured a bit, when suddenly the band fell apart. He was without a job when he was offered to fill in as an announcer at a local wrestling event. Giordano needed the money so accepted. Because the crowd liked him as announcer the Indy promoter offered to train the athletic jazz-musician. – The Indy Circuit (VOW) –After hard training Giordano started his new career as a Fighty fighty person. He as an amateur he had to focus mainly on local hardcore matches. Meanwhile he was refining his wrestling techniques and abilities. In the Semi Professional circuit finally got a change at fighting more basic wrestling matches instead of the normal hardcore ones. This eventually paid off when he became the Technical champion of the Indies. Then at last he could actually afford a normal life style, when he was offered a full-time professional contract. During this period Jazz became the All Indy Champion. – Kings of Wrestling –It was when he became a professional Fighty fighty person that he signed his first federation contract. Giordano became a full-time Fighty fighty person at Kings of Wrestling. In one of his first matches he picked up the middleweight championship, which he kept during his entire professional career at Kings of Wrestling. This was not the only success though. Giordano now know as Giordano Jazz joined the competition for the World Heavy weight title, which he surprisingly won in his first match. After this upset victory he was able to defend it till he was promoted to the special league for the prestige’s Kings of Wrestling Title. Giordano because of his high intelligence and participation got offered the job of general manager for Monday Night Show. He accepted the honorable position. Giordano being the fan favorite was given a shot at the title in his first match in the highest KOW-division and again won the gold. Unfortunately KOW died shortly after making Giordano once again a free agent doing Indy matches only. – The Indy’s once again –Giordano after getting all the gold that he had was now seen as a true Super Star. He was hired in All Star Wrestling Federation, Superstar Wrestling Federation and Extreme Wrestling Entertainment, but none of them could he really find his swing. He had some good matches in ASWF. Jazz was a top competitor in the Indy’s though. He proved this by winning the World title. When becoming a recognized Indy star he joined The Profits. He was one of the stables first members. The stable is one of the biggest and most powerful in the Indy circuit. He was persuaded by his close associates in the Profits, Scott Steiner, to join Blood and Guts Wrestling. – Blood and Guts Wrestling –Together with Scott Steiner, Giordano formed the very unsuccessful, but extremely colorful tag team known as Beauty & the Freak. Feuding with all the big stars in BGW, Scott being part of Damage Inc, Jazz from Crimson Tide and not being able to score a single victory the two partners turned on one and other. Leading to the split of tag team of Cult-status, because of their freaky and frequent promos, which never where anything near coherent. After a feud in which Scott wasn’t able to pin Jazz even once beauty left BGW in search of greener pastures. – International Championship Wrestling –Jazz found them in Gods and Heretics Wrestling. Giordano joined the Federation, while still signed on by BGW, but was out a long time, because of a hand injury. After his departure from BGW Jazz focused mainly on the Indy’s, which lead to a title reign as All-Round World Champion. He then also became a member of International Championship Wrestling. In ICW Jazz dominated the scene. He became the First ever Undisputed World ICW Champion. He lost the belt at the hands of Joao Gomes, but regained it at ICW’s first PPV in Lisbon Joao hometown in a very exciting Ladder match. Then Giordano formed Perfect Symphony, together with his former nemesis, Joao Gomes. In another exiting match against the Krautforce Giordano became the ICW Tag champion. Jazz held all the titles he could within ICW. In the Legend and Champions paper view Giordano had to defend both titles. He lost the Tag titles in a handicap match against the Krautforce +. In a gruesome Cage match against Fritzchen Giordano lost control. He choked out Fritzchen with the Jazzmission. After the match Giordano took a long look at himself and decided to drop the belt to get back his sense of direction in life. In the meantime he had reached near legendary status within the Indy-circuit. After dropping from the card the owners of ICW introduced Giordano Jazz as the first member into the ICW Hall of Fame for his dominance and all round contribution to the Federation. – Gods and Heretics Wrestling –In GHW Giordano was off to a mixed start. He won the War of Worldz with the Dutch, but losing every other match.
