Red, White, and Bruised RP Results
-Dark Match-
The Metalhead vs. Dakota "J0K0RE" Smith v. "The Reaper" Razetti
The Metalhead vs. Dakota "J0K0RE" Smith v. "The Reaper" Razetti
My analyzing:
This was a solid Dark Match and leads me to believe that Razetti is going to do good things one day and that Metalhead is going to keep his momentum rolling. This was basically a game of experience as I felt Metalhead grasped the match better, and had much better basic match writing techniques. Don't worry Razetti, it'll come with time. And J0K0RE, you get a big thumbs down for no showing.
Winner: The Metalhead
-Opening Contest: "New Kids on the Block" Match-
Daniel Throne v. Angelus
Daniel Throne v. Angelus
My analyzing:
What an amazing double debut match. You guys really blew me away because of your eagerness and already obvious natural talent. Daniel Throne seems to have a step up on experience though as his action really flowed well topped off by good use of announcing. Angelus, I would just tell you to work on describing your moves a little better, that's a quintessential key to being successful - being able to describe the match taking place and putting depth into it. Once again, I'd just like to say both of you did extremely well. Sleeper hit of the night in my opinion.
Winner: Daniel Throne
-Singles Match-
DM Vasher vs. Blaine
DM Vasher vs. Blaine
My analyzing:
This match never got underway as both men did their entrance, and then Blaine never posted again. Blaine was probably preoccupied in his H-Games Finale match with Joe, but I really was wanting to see this one happen as I know it would have been great.
Winner: DM Vasher
#1 Contendership for the GHW Television Title
-Ladder Match-
Harold the Pretzel Man vs. Masked Psycho A Wray
-Ladder Match-
Harold the Pretzel Man vs. Masked Psycho A Wray
My analyzing:
This match started well and looked promising at first with both men being on an equal level in my mind, but Masked Psycho A Wray secured a fresh victory after taking advantage of the 72-Hour Rule in two consecutive, good posts.
Winner: Masked Psycho A Wray
GHW Tag Team Titles
-No DQ Tag Match-
Demolition Thugs (Reeves/Gnarfflinger) vs. Stone Orchard (Savage/Kain)
-No DQ Tag Match-
Demolition Thugs (Reeves/Gnarfflinger) vs. Stone Orchard (Savage/Kain)
My analyzing:
This was a good tag team match with some confusion throughout and many posts not being counted because team members ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DOUBLE POST EVEN EACH OTHER. Demolition Thugs were much more active and even though Damien made some good posts, carrying the back on his team - I felt that Demolition Thugs just had better match ideas and did better overall, especially on the team aspect.
Winners and still Heaven and Hell Aligned Tag Team Champions: Demolition Thugs
New Age Championship
-Steel Cage Match (Pinfall, Submission, or Escape)-
Brian Commonwealth vs. Dominik Santiago
-Steel Cage Match (Pinfall, Submission, or Escape)-
Brian Commonwealth vs. Dominik Santiago
My analyzing:
This match never got off the ground as I forfeited the match to Dominik after one of the worst weeks of my life and my computer f**k**g up - I'm using that re-match clause next month.
Winner and new New Age Champion: Dominik Santiago
King of the Deathmatch Championship
- 4-Way, 200 Lighttubes, Barbedwire Ropes Match-
Samoa Joe vs. Hayden Hardkore vs. Sean Pierce vs. Metal Dragon
- 4-Way, 200 Lighttubes, Barbedwire Ropes Match-
Samoa Joe vs. Hayden Hardkore vs. Sean Pierce vs. Metal Dragon
My analyzing:
Hayden, you had a couple of typos in there which doesn't look attractive compared to guys who's typing is nearly impeccable. I felt you used the announcers a big too much and you really spend too much time in your post writing about fickle things. There were too many very long paragraphs where only one or two, or maybe three things would happen in them. It really bogs down the post and doesn't add a lot to the actual match at all. Not a lot of action, and some of the action you had was hard to understand the way you described it. Also, I didn't feel you emphasized on the match concept itself well enough.
Samoa Joe, the biggest problem with you is your description. You try very hard to describe things precisely, but they end up very messy the way I read them. I remember reading a whole paragraph of yours and not understanding a thing that just went on because of the way it was described. Also, you use red font all of the announcers and they have different font colors - all that red hurts my eyes. Speaking of announcers, you make them praise you too much. You shouldn't make them hype your character so much and focus specifically on him so much. And I feel you also overused them. The action was very choppy for me.
Metal Dragon, you are truly at the top of your game. The action was endless with no spelling, grammar, or punctuation errors to my knowledge. The announcing was short and sweet with no over-emphasis, and I really enjoyed some of the spots you did. Great work.
Overall, in my mind it was a great match, but because of the things just mentioned - Metal Dragon really deserves the win in my mind after his performance which I felt was phenomenal.
Winner and NEW King of the Deathmatch Champion: Metal Dragon
