A Night to Remember for DMD!!!

[Bulldogs (Duncan + Genesis)]

Thursday, January 8th, 8pm ... and Valkyrie is leading a blindfolded Dyna Mike Duncan towards the pool area. Valk is dressed in a long, flowing dress, cleavage exposed as usual, but looking very elegant. Mike is wearing another of his designer suits, the silk shirt beneath it open to the navel.

DMD pretends to be uneasy at being led around by his sister, but is laughing and smiling with her as he stumbles slightly before she sits him in a rather plush, almost throne-like chair under one of the mini-gazebo's that have been erected around the pool.

Finally, she whips off his blindfold as all the people who had been waiting there, silently, for his arrival shout in unison ...

Duncan laughs and nods at them all graciously ... the remaining members of the Bulldogs, Genesis and Luther, are there ... most of the X-Force contingent and Xantaxm supporters are there ... Big Al raises his glass of beer in DMD's direction and then forces another burger into his mouth ... a lot of the technical crew are also in attendance (chance of a free drink - why the hell not?) as well as friends and acquaintances of Mike from outside the business .. minor actors/actresses, a few stars from other sports and the media etc.

A glass of wine is handed to Mike and he raises it in salute to everybody.

DMD: What a very pleasant surprise ... I had no idea this was being planned, even though I signed the cheques to pay for it all!

Smiling at his own pathetic joke, and extremely pleased that all his plans for his 'surprise' birthday party had come to fruition, he nods towards the band and they strike up a medley of Iron Maiden classics .. starting of course with The Trooper.

One of the minor actresses (more well known for her appearances in Playboy and the like than for her on-screen performances) sidles over and sits on Mike's knee as the party gets into full swing - something Mke doesn't appear to upset about.

The party is going really well, the specially selected guests are having a great time with all the free food and drink that has been laid on, the band are performing well and the 'actresses' shipped in from some of the better 'escort agencies' are entertaining the male guests - all according to plan ... until ....

[Xantaxm]

From behind one of the gazebos enters an intelligently dressed Xantaxm, who carries two long-stemmed glasses in one hand, and a bottle of champagne in the other. He approaches the relaxed and comfortable Dyna Mike Duncan, and both exchange welcoming smiles.

"Happy Birthday, old chap! I see you have quite the soiree going on over here today."

Mike Duncan laughs light-heartedly, as Xantaxm hands the bottle to a waiter who stands nearby.

"Pour the Birthday boy and myself a couple glasses of the bubbly, will you?" Xantaxm firmly barks at the waiter. The waiter nods and takes the two glasses from Xantaxm and sets them on his tray. He then proceeds to put the towel that was on his shoulder around the bottle to begin to uncork it.

"It's good to see you back from your Holiday, Mike. I just wanted to let you know that your Hell in the Cell at Blood Runs Cold did not disappoint. It looks like you've fully healed any small nicks or bruises from that match as well. It's a New Year now, and with you and Genesis holding the top two Titles in GHW, the X-Forces and Bulldogs look to be unstoppable."

Just then, the waiter pops the cork from the bottle of champagne and a few bubbles pour out. He quickly wipes the foam away and pours two glasses. Xantaxm snatches them from the tray before the waiter can hand them to him. Xantaxm then gives one glass to Mike Duncan and raises his glass in toast.

"To Dyna Mike Duncan....a true gentleman, champion, and friend."

The crowd of people surrounding the men say cheers in unison as Dyna Mike Duncan and Xantaxm clink glasses and drink.

"So did you see that pathetic excuse of a Petition that went up recently...."

Xantaxm and Mike continue their private conversation.

[Young Gangsta]

Just then, A loud thud is heard as the Rent-A-Cop is thrown against a wall in the hallway leading towards the pool area. The party-goers, including Xantaxm and Dyna Mike, all pause to hear and see what it happening. Suddenly, Young Gangsta and an "army" of beautiful women flood into the room. Young Gangsta, wife-beater and all walks up to Mike and Xant with a loudspeaker in his possesion. He begins to speak, but with some static

Yo, Yo, Yo! What it do everyone?! I just wanna wish my good friend over here a good birthday!

Many of the guests who don't follow wrestling clap, while those few fans, and the GHW staff all groan a bit.

Come on y'all! Let's wish Dyna Mike Dic-- Duncan a Happy Birthday! Come on, Let's all sing for him!

The guests now sing "Happy Birthday" for Mike as Xantaxm, red with anger, mumbles the words, and DMD, red with anger and embarassment, tries to flash a smile. After the song is over, they clap and the party resumes.

Gangsta, I'm going to kill you, You wait til--

Please Xantaxm, Enjoy yourself, I'll take care of this... Gangsta, I'm going to ki--

DMD interrupted by two of the beautiful women YG brought to the party earlier hugging him. After a moment of realizing what happened, he continues his sentence

Like I said, I'm going to send you a thank you card

As Mike is entertained, Xantaxm is confused at the situation. YG, seeing this, turns his attention to Xant.

Hey, Don't worry Xant. I got you covered too!

Xantaxm flashes what looks like a smile and waits as Young Gangsta motions for two men to come over.

Meet Xant guys. Xant, this is Ben, and this is Jack... You know, Ben Dover and Jack Mehoff! And from what I've seen them try to do to each other, they enjoy what their names inply

Young Gangsta begins to laugh as he hurriedly tries to leave the pool area.

You've screwed yourself Gangsta. I'm going to make your life a living hell!

You cant make my life worse than you're already trying to!

And with that YG laughs while leaving, picking up the cute "actress" from earlier.


OOC: Happy Birthday John

Genocide walks by YG and steps up onto the stage. He gets in front of the Mic and takes out a fold piece of paper. He now unfolds the paper and clears his throat before he leans forward into the Mic.

"Excuse me..."

Some people stop and pay attention but most ignore and continue partying. Genocide now grabs a pitcher of water at the table near him and he dumps it on the speakers of the music that had continued playing. The speakers now shoot sparks as the music dies out. Genocide jumps back to avoid being hit by the sparks. He now realize that all eyes are on him so he returns to the Mic and looks back down at the paper.

"Now that I got your attention...I got this letter that I am supposed to read for the birthday boy."

Everybody now looks at DMD and claps for him and a few just stop and look at Xantaxm who is trying to push away the two guys that YG hooked him up with.

"Um...hey! Yo! Up here!"

Everybody now focuses up at Genocide.

"Well...here it is."

Genocide now clears his throat again and begins reading the paper.

"I am sorry to say that your shipment of dil...Oh sorry this one is for Xantaxm."

Genocide jumps off the stage and walks up to Xantaxm, handing him the fake note. The two guys smile at Xantaxm when they see what is on the note. Ben Dover then says to Xantaxm.

"Mmmm, so you like it rough?"

Genocide laughs and gets back on stage. He now pulls out another paper and unfolds it and begins reading.

"Here it is...ahem. Dyna Mike Duncan, your test results are in and you don't have aids! Oh and your...'thing' transplant will be this Sunday!"

Genocide crumples up the paper and tosses it aside. As the two ladies get up and walk way from Mike laughing.

"It's okay, Mike. Size isn't everything."

Genocide now laughs and he runs off stage before either of the bulldogs could catch him. He then waves goodbye and runs outside.

The party continues without any further major incidents until the last few guests stagger off.

However, DMD is left with a bitter taste in his mouth about the interruptions of Young Gangsta and Genocide, and even th finest champagne can't shift it.

Bidding farewell to Xantaxm and the Bulldogs, Duncan leaves, alone - thoughts of revenge preying heavily on his mind, but knowing that there is no way Xantaxm would allow him to exact revenge on the two interlopers himself .... at least not in the ring!
