The crowd is patiently waiting the start of the opener when all of a sudden Otherworld by Nobuo Uematsu hits. The fans boo loudly upon hearing this as Collin Fitzpatrick walks slowly from behind the ramp wearing a pair of white trunks, white elbow and knee pads, and a pair of white boots.
Linda: The Following Television Tournament Match is a Blackout Match, in which you must pin your opponent for a ten count to win. Introducing first from Killkenny, Ireland "Irish Storm" Collin Fitzpatrick!
Collin stands at the top of the ramp for a few moments as he lears at the crowd, a cocky smile plastered on his face. Collin then walks slowly down the ramp as various fans shove fans out at him most of which showing how much they dislike him. Collin finally reaches the bottom of the ramp and slides under the bottom rope and into the ring, he takes a few steps toward the middle of the ring before turning to face the entrance ramp.
Weasel: Looks like Trickshot is trying to be clever hear, he has put Skull and Irish Storm in the same match probably hoping they'll tear one another to shreads. Figures he'd pull something like that!
Malibu: I think it's like SOOOOOOOOOO a good idea! These guys are both a couple of Grade A jerk offs and what better then to see them beat one another down a bit?
TBC *Short intro I know but hey I just wanna get to the fighting *
As Collin's entrance finishes, the arena lights fade out to a dim red glow and the words It Came From Hell appear on the tron in dripping blood red letters. Crowd change from booing Collin to booing Skull but are soon drowned out as Trencher Remix by Cutting Pink With Knives blasts out of the speakers.
Linda: And introducing his opponent...
"The Pureblood" steps out onto the stage wearing his usual long, black, hooded cloak and gothic inspired ring attire. Underneath his open cloak he is also wearing a black t-shirt with a photo of a snowy mountain scene printed onto it#.
Linda: Weighing in at 220lbs and currently residing in the Depths of Hell, he is "The Pureblood", Skull.
As Skull walks down the ramp, red sparks shoot up and down each side of it and arch overhead, creating the illusion that he is stepping of of Hell.
Hank: Skull was very impressive in his last tournament match against Johnny Abs, putting him away with that brutal move of his, The Bloodline. You'd have to think it will take that or his aptly named Lights Out finisher to end this match.
Malibu: I don't really want either of these two to win this match and advance. Even if I had to pick the lesser of two evils I couldn't choose. On the one hand Skull is a disgusting, cheating jerk, but Collin isn't any better because if he didn't attack Trickshot then we wouldn't be having this tournament in the first place.
Skull reaches the bottom of the ramp and climbs up the ring steps, ignoring the abuse from the crowd. He climbs further up onto the top of the turnbuckle and looks out at the crowd. However, rather than doing his usual blood spiting taunt, he just takes his cloak off and tosses it aside.
Hank: That is an interesting t-shirt that Skull is wearing. I wonder if it has any relevance to this match.
Malibu: It is a photo by artist Marc Adamus called Winter's Fury. It's a reference to the PPV name.
Hank: How on earth do you know that?
Malibu: I'm not just a pretty face, Weasel.
Skull jumps down into the ring and calls for a microphone from one of the ring attendants. While he is waiting, he takes the t-shirt off and tosses it out of the ring. When he finally receives the microphone he brushes his long black hair back, revealing a disgusted expression on his face.
Skull: Well, well, well. Trickshot is back in power and by a cruel twist of irony two members of team Hawkeye find themselves facing eachother. What a coincidence. I know what you're thinking Tricky-Dicky. You think that our greed, our lust for championship gold will be stronger than our loyalty to the cause. That it will somehow break the bond between us which was forged by our mutual hatred for your administration. Well your plan hasn't worked because I refuse to participate. My loyalty to Hawkeye is more important than my dreams of championship gold. So right now, I'm gonna lay down in the centre of this ring and let Collin pin me for the 10 count so that he can advance in the tournament and win back the title that he never lost.
With that Skull drop the microphone and just as he said, he lays down on the mat. A confused Collin Fitzpatrick looks on, obviously having no idea that Skull was going to do this. His confusion soon turns to smugness as he realized he is about to get a very easy advancement in the tournament. He bends down to pin Skull but just as he does, The Pureblood springs into action like a snake pouncing on its prey as he grabs Collin's leg with one arm and his head with the other arm and capturing him in a lightning fast rollup. The bell rings and the referee slides in to make the count and his hand slaps the mat once, twice, but Collin Breaks out of it.
Malibu: I knew it! Skull would never just lay down for Collin but he didn't even get a 3 count with that trick, let alone a 10 count.
Hank: I don't think he was aiming for the win. It was just another mind game designed to lull Collin into a false sense of security then burst his bubble by reminding him that there are no friends or allies in this tournament.
Both men get back to a stand, Collin looks at Skull with a slight hint of confusion on his face, upon seeing this a mischievous smile slowly creeps across Skulls face. After the initial shock of Skull's trickery passes Collin nods his head and claps at Skull applauding his tactic. Skull and Collin begin to move in a slow circle around the middle of the ring, both men on the look out for an opportunity to take the early advantage. This goes on for a few moments but is quickly ended when Skull quickly raises his right leg and fires his boot at Collin's stomach, Collin catches his opponent's foot but Skull quickly leaps up and fires his free foot into the side of Collin's head taking both men to the ground.
Weasel: Enziguri by Skull! That had to hurt like hell, I highly doubt it'll warrant him a ten count but it's a pretty good start.
Malibu: Do you think Skull threw that kick on purpose? I mean he had to expect a response like that from his opponent by the time Irish Storm saw it coming it was like...too late.
Skull knowing that he hasn't done enough to put his opponent away gets quickly to his feet and walks over to his downed opponent who is starting to get to his knees, Skull bends slightly and grabs Collin by the back of head and pulls him to his feet. Skull releases the back of Collin's head and then grabs his left arm, he then whips Collin toward the other side of the ring, Collin bounces off of the ropes and comes hurdling back toward Skull who leaps into the air and drives the back of his leg into Collin's chin making him drop to the ground and slide toward the ropes. Collin takes a look at his surroundings and quickly rolls under the bottom rope landing on his feet near the apron.
Weasel: Collin Fitzpatrick looking to slow things down a little here. Not a bad idea considering the last couple of moves landed by Skull.
Malibu: Well it may seem like a good idea, but you forget that Skull can do more than just leap around and use his feet, he is a sound technical wrestler as well.
While Irish Storm is taking his breather beside the ring Skull quickly rushes to the opposite side of the ring and steps through the ropes and drops down to the arena floor. Skull drops to a knee and flips up the ring apron, he reaches under the ring and quickly brings out a light tube which he places on the ring apron, he reaches back under the ring and moments latter brings out another one, Skull then takes the other light tube in his free hand and walks around the ring apron and toward an oblivious Collin Fitzpatrick. Collin looks back into the ring and notices Skull is nowhere to be seen, he then turns around only to see Skull bringing the two light tubes together smashing them on either side of Collin's skull getting a groan from the crowd.
Weasel: That can't possibly feel pleasant, Collin Fitzpatrick has got to have a dandy of a headache after that, not to mention he's probably going to be pulling glass out of his head for a few weeks.
Skull thrusts quickly forward and drives the point of his left boot into Irish Storm's ribs making him lose his breath, at this point Skull gets Collin to his feet and rolls him under the bottom rope and into the ring but leaving his head dangling off the apron. Skull gets a sick smile on his face as he picks up a shard of the broken light tube, he then jabs it into the top of Collin's head a few times before dropping it and sliding into the ring, Skull drags Collin away from the ropes and lays his weight across his body prompting the ref to slide over and make his count.
Malibu: I think I see blood, this is like...it's like...SO gross, I hope this ends soon for one I have some major shopping to do, and well...you know the whole blood thing ick.
Weasel: A little blood never hurt anybody...though the loss of it certainly has but that's besides the point. Looks like a pretty minor cut to me. Might not matter though it looks like Skull has a pin, only question is will he be able to make it to ten?
