Friday Night Mayhem (2/13/09): Love 2 Hate
HARDCORE
1. Future Talent Tag Match
Genocide/Sandhu v. Raistlin Majere/The Angel of Darkness (docs)
Winner: Raistlin Majere/The Angel of Darkness
Notes: We're not going to see a one-on-one tonight in the Future Talent match. Instead, we are going to see two feuding sides pair up to face each other in a tag team match. Genocide and his new friend, Sandhu, are going to team up for the anti-X forces to face the current Hardcore Champion, AOD, and Raistlin Majere.
LIEUTENANT
1. trickshot v. Luke Kinkade (LMS-docs)
Winner: Luke Kinkade
Notes: tricky will get knocked the heck out by Luke tonight in a LMS and that will set the tone for the rest of the night for those that think that they want to stand in my way.
2. Destroyer v. Ultimate Gene (Single-docs)
Winner: Destroyer
Notes: Destroyer is due for a big win, and I'm thinking that this is the match to start sending him down the right path. Ultimate Gene is the village idiot for the anti-X clan, and Destroyer should have no problems with him.
CAPTAIN
1. Eric The Torture v. Tito Ortiz (LMS-docs)
Winner: Eric The Torture
Notes: Eric The Torture will take on his very own tag team partner, Tito Ortiz, in a LMS match tonight. We'll see if these two are friends forever after pummeling each other in this exciting match.
2. Non-Title Match
Marcus Airbourne v. RhinoMan (Cage-docs)
Winner: Marcus Airbourne
Notes: Marcus Airbourne has been a shining star in the X-Forces so far this month, and things will only get better for him tonight when he gets to shut the mouth of that ingrate, RhinoMan, inside a steel cage. Rhino failed to get the job done in the Pick Your Poison Tournament, and he will fail in this match too.
COLONEL
1. RJ Wild v. Euroman (Single-docs)
Notes: RJ Wild is on thin ice if he can't put away Euroman in a singles match on Mayhem. RJ hasn't won many matches for the X-Force lately, and he hasn't caused any problems for those that oppose us. RJ needs to prove that he is worthy now.
2. Lunchtime Legend v. Matthew Oliveira (LMS-docs)
Winner: Matthew Oliveira
Notes: Matthew Oliveira came out of nowhere to win a hardcore singles match last week on Mayhem. That puts him at 1 win in a row...his record. That streak will end tonight when he enters a smashing LMS match with Double L.
3. Non-Title Match
The Impacter v. Sergei Kravinoff (Table-docs)
Winner: The Impacter
Notes: The Impacter has been impressive as the Colonel Champ so far, but the problem he has isn't his talent...it's his choice of allies. Tonight, Sergei Kravinoff will represent the X-Forces and send a message in the form of The Impacter going through a table.
GENERAL
1. Backyard Brawler 2 v. I Always Lose (Single-docs)
Notes: BB and IAL will tangle in a traditional singles match to get things going in the General Division tonight. Both could use the win, but only one will get it.
2. ValKyrie KD v. Falling Angel (Single-docs)
Winner: ValKyrie KD via no-show
Notes: Kelly Duncan and Falling Angel are the two female Superstars in the General Division. For the first time ever, they will collide in a friendly singles match to sort out which one is more on top of her game. Here's hoping that Falling Angel is well enough to fight this match after coming off a Death Sentence Tournament injury.
3. Non-Title Match
Big Daddy v. Black Dead (Ladder-docs)
Winner: Black Dead
Notes: Big Daddy lost a rare match last week to CH, but his full attention will be focused on destroying Black Dead tonight in a ladder match. Black Dead is currently faking an injury he said he sustained in the Death Sentence Tournament this month, so I fully expect Big D to make that fake injury a real one once this match is all said and done.
TAG TEAM
1. Brutal Thugs v. The Battalion (docs)
Winner: The Battalion
Notes: The Brutal Thugs couldn't defeat the former Bronze Tag Team Champions, One Machine, last week, and now they have to face an undefeated Battalion. One of these two teams make the most sense to be the next Bronze Champs, so we may be seeing a preview of things to come.
2. Tornado Non-Title Match (Single IDs)
Havoc v. Lost Cause (docs)
Winner: Lost Cause
Notes: Lost Cause defeated Havoc last week in a fluke match, so tonight I've arranged a rematch of sorts. The match will be a Tornado Non-Title match, with all Superstars legal in the ring at the same time. Can Lost Cause make it two in a row? Ha, that's not possible.
