The scene is brought to life with the view of a door, not just any door, but a highly polished mahogony door set with stainless steel handles. After a few moments of silence, the handles are turned slowly, the door being pushed open as a man dressed in a custom made suit enters the room, he raises his left arm and runs his hand through his hair, sighing as he reaches the desk. The man stops at the desk and pulls back on the seat, walking forward and sitting himself down on, with a push of a button on the intercom, General Manager, Martin Prince speaks.
Martin Prince
"Lexie..Lexie! Listen, don't ask questions. I want to see you in my office right away, bring me a bottle of whisky and a case of Guiness."
Lexie Ellis
"Right away, sir."
As Martin awaits the arrival of his assistant, he raises his feet up and rests them on the polished surface of his fine-cut desk. Tilting back on the seat slightly and reminscing the scenes of violence in the thumbtack match between Gnarfflinger The Butcher and Matt Violence. A knock on the door, however, sets the General Manager back on the seat, startled by the sudden knocking. His assistant Lexie Ellis enters the room, bottle of whisky in one hand, case of Guiness in the other. She drops the case next to his desk and carefully places the bottle next to Prince's computer, a look of worry on her face as she looks at her boss.
Lexie Ellis
"Is..is there anything wrong sir? You look mightily flustered.."
Martin Prince
"L-Lexie..I'm seeing things. For a moment there, when I was walking here, I thought I could see someone that I once knew, but isn't of this world anymore. He was killed in some sort of freak accident..but on my way here, I thought I saw his shadow, walking through the hallways. Like a stalker, chasing his prey."
Lexie Ellis
"Do you wish for me to get you a doctor perhaps? Maybe some medication at least."
Martin pours himself a glass of whisky, he takes a rather quick sip of the contents of the drink before looking at Lexie again, a sour expression on his face as he swallows the whisky.
Martin Prince
"No..Forget it. It's just nothing, probably stressed from all this work, besides, it's not like he can hurt me..He's dead, afterall."
Lexie looks turns away from Martin, she removes her glasses and stows them safely away into the pocket of her jacket. She turns back to Martin, fluttering her eyelashes seductively as she walks towards the General Manager, unbuttoning the top buttons on her shirt, to make herself more revealing.
Lexie Ellis
"Well, Mr. Prince, I think I know what I can do to make your more relaxed."
She licks her lips suggestingly as she sits herself on Martin's right thigh, by now, the General Manager himself is starting to feel a bit flustered by this sudden change of attitude by his assistant, who usually seems to act more professional during the working hours. As Lexie gets closer, Martin closes his eyes, thinking only to himself, until finally he decides to open his eyes and place both his hands on Lexie's shoulders. A stern look on his face as he faces his assistant.
Martin Prince
"Ugh.. Lexie, I have but one request for you right now. This may seem odd and even shocking to you, and I know you'll feel rather awkward by doing this but.."
Lexie's eyes widen in shock, could Martin be saying what she thinks he's saying?
Martin Prince
".. Could you please open up the case of Guiness? I'd do it myself, but you know, you're perched on my lap and all."
Lexie sighs as she moves towards the case of Guiness, opening the case up and pulling out a can. She hands it to Martin who smiles gratefully and cracks the can open, two sips later and Martin is back in his comfortable position on the chair. Lexie, however, scowling that she had just been denied yet another opportunity by Martin, who continues to drink the beer lovingly, completely ignoring her. By now, Lexie has had enough with all the false moments and stamps her foot on the solid marble tiling, Martin looks up and eyes the angry Lexie, who glares back menacingly at the now-calm General Manager.
Lexie Ellis
"Listen Martin, I'm getting tired of all these false-hints that you're throwing at me. It's either you're going to sleep with me, or you're not.. I mean, you've led me on this wild goose chase for more than enough and I'm getting sick of-"
She's cut off in mid-sentence as the lights within the office begin to flicker on and off, until finally coming to a complete blink of darkness, Lexie screaming as she's unable to see.
An echoing laugh begins to sound out throughout the entire office, as Lexie foolishly runs around in her heels, tripping and stumbling over precious objects within Martin's office. With the final trip on the rug, Lexie hits the marble floor tiles with a hard thud, the lights return and Martin looks up from the table, in front of him lays his fallen assistant, who seems to be stirring with her legs spread. However, Martin fails to notice the embarrassing predicament as he turns to look around at his entire office, the walls sprawled with message that appear to be written in blood.
Bring your best..
This is where it ends..
Your time has come..
Martin..
Martin stares fixatedly at the message on his wall, in deep concentration as he tries to figure out the message and who could've written it. Meanwhile, Lexie still lays on the floor, she doesn't bother closing her legs at all as she groans in pain, hoping that Martin will pay attention to her.
Martin turns to his right, where his open case of Guiness is and pulls out another can, cracking the lid open and taking a bountiful sip of the glorious content inside, Martin begins to walk towards and passes the fallen and pained Lexie Ellis, a smile on his face as he stops near her.
Martin Prince
"Lexie, I'll be taking a few steps out for awhile, please make sure you get my office cleaned and ready for my return. By the way, I do love what you're wearing underneath that skirt. Now..TALLY-HO YOUNG LADY!"
Martin walks out, can of Guiness in hand as the door shuts behind him, leaving Lexie on the ground and unable to get up after landing badly on her back.
Lexie Ellis
"Oh great, so he leaves me here while I could be end up being a disabled person after falling flat-out, on my back. Sheesh, thanks Martin, thanks a lot.."
As Lexie continues to struggle back to her feet, the scene suddenly fades to black.
