* After the backstage interview with Eric the Torture, the camera cuts to the arena floor. Charlie Coors is ready to introduce the combatants for the next match. *Charlie Coors: Ladies and gentlemen... the next match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first... weighing in at 268 pounds and hailing from Detroit, Michigan...* The drum intro from "Red War" by Probot begins rocking through the arena as red and silver pyros explode on the stage and down the aisle way. Eric the Torture steps onto the stage and looks around at the crowd with his hands on his hips, drinking in the cheers and applause. The Dungeon Master belt is strapped around his waist and after pausing a moment, he continues walking to the ring, clapping the hands of fans on the way. *Charlie Coors: here is the Dungeon Master title holder... the Crown Prince of Punishment... Eric... the TORRRRRRRRTURE!* Eric reaches the ring and calmly climbs in, rolling his head, shaking his arms and generally loosening up and preparing. *Colin: Eric looks to be in great shape tonight, Al."Big" Al: It's going to take more than looks to win the match tonight, Colin. The Proeliator is as tough as they come and he Eric is going to need every ounce of skill and experience if he has any hope of winning this match tonight.Colin: That's a great point, Al. This is going to be a highly technical match here tonight - both men are great on the mat. Even though he is highly considered a mat Fighty fighty person, Eric has some aerial expertise that he may employ tonight in order to gain an advantage over his opponent.* Eric finally finishes taunting to the crowd as Charlie continues the introductions. *Charlie Coors: And his opponent...

* As The Proeliator's music plays out through the arena for what seems like four days but is really only about a minute, Eric The Torture's expression goes from determination to confusion to plain annoyance at the apparent failure of his opponent to show up. Charlie Coors looks around helplessly to the ringside announcers who just shrug back at him. Clearly annoyed, Eric grabs the microphone from Charlie and yells: *
ETT: Stop the music! Proeliator, I don't know what you're all about here, but I have a match to win here and I'd appreciate it if you came out here and took your beating like a man! So come on down and I promise I'll make it quick and painful.
* ETT hands the microphone back to Charlie and leans in the corner, waiting for his opponent to show. *
"Big" Al: Proeliator must be stuck in traffic or something, Colin. Something has to be seriously wrong if he hasn't won this match by now. Colin: Will you give Eric some credit Al? I think everyone here is as anxious to see Eric and Proeliator go at it as you are! "Big" Al: All I'm saying is that I don't believe for a second that Proeliator is trying to duck the match or something, that's all!
* The crowd begins to grow impatient... *

As the crowd stirs in anticipation and annoyance a chorus of boos begin quietly at first and then to a deafening roar. As the crowd becomes more restless, the lights flicker, and then go out. A hushed sense of urgency begins to rush through the crowd as the fans brace for the worst before the lights come back on, and the crowd erupts. Eric the Torture continues staring towards the entrance ramp as the crowd starts cheering and the bell rings. Confused, Eric turns around to meet a strong right from the Proeliator as he falls to the canvas.
Big Al:~ Well, I'm sure Eric wasn't expecting that, what a great psychological tactic by the Proeliator!
Colin:~ Well, some of us would call that cheating, but I guess you only wanna see the good guys win, huh?
Big Al:~ What are you talking about? He didn't cheat. The bell rung before he struck his opponent.
Colin:~ Well, he was at least deceptive, and for a man who is well known along the circuit to show up here in our house and disrespect the great Eric the Torture, I have lost a lot of respect for him.
TBC:
OOC: Sorry about the delay, someone *cough* didn't tell me what day the ppv started when I was asked to do this match. I thought I'd give it a realistic entrance considering what happened with the promo... guess proceed as is and I'll reply to whatever you wanna post. Yet again, sorry

* Not wasting a moment of his advantage, Proeliator follows up by pulling Eric up and throwing him into the ropes. Proeliator swings and misses a clothesline that Eric ducks, turns, and jumps up, hitting a drop kick that sends Proeliator stumbling backwards, into and through the ropes to the arena floor. Eric stands up and pumps his closed fists several times and roars. Momentum momentarily gained, he runs back into the ropes, then rebounds and dives head first through the second and third ropes to crash into his opponent on the arena floor. *
Colin: It looks like the advantage Proeliator gained with that cheap shot has been lost, Al. Eric is on fire and he's livid! "Big" Al: Whaddya mean, cheap shot? The bell had rung! If Eric isn't paying attention to what's going on, that's his own fault!
* The ref is counting as Eric slams Proeliator's head into the announcer's table, rakes his back, then rolls him into the ring under the bottom rope. Proeliator keeps his senses and stands up quickly though, and tries to grapple Eric over the top rope as he is climbing in. Eric ducks the off-balance lunge and performs a shoulder thrust through the ropes, then uses the ropes to catapult himself up and over Proeliator with a sunset flip. Proeliator takes a step back but refuses to fall backwards. He windmills his arms a few times as Eric tries to pull him down. Finally, he regains his balance and drives a fist down into Eric's forehead. Proeliator takes a moment to shake out the cobwebs before turning his attention back to Eric. *
"Big" Al: And just like that Colin, the momentum has shifted again. Colin: And this match has already barely begun Al! I don't think these two are close to being finished with each other!

As the Proeliator turns around to face his slightly stunned and grounded opponent he leans on the ropes to gain some momentum, coming forward and jumping with his legs extended, but hitting the canvas as Eric rolls out of the way, avoiding a leg drop. Quickly taking the initiative he himself gets a running start and heads back towards the Proeliator, extending a boot and nearly kicking his head off with a stiff shot that made the crowd wince. Proeliator rolls out of the ring and looks around before climbing back into the ring and raising a hand high in the air, goading the larger and most likely stronger Eric the Torture into a test of strength.
Colin:~ Is he high? Eric is the much stronger man in this case.
Big Al:~ Well, maybe he's seeing something we don't? Maybe its a technique move, either way, its brilliant.
Colin:~ So going into a test of strength with a much stronger man is brilliant? Ok sir.
As both men lock up in the well known greco-roman knuckle lock, the Proeliator appears to be gaining the advantage, that is until he realizes that Eric is toying with him. At that moment Eric turns up the pressure and brings the notably smaller Proeliator to his knees begging for mercy before he stands up, releasing the hold and grabbing his eye, pointing to the ref and then to a very confused Eric. The referee admonishes the puzzled torturer about poking his opponent in the eye whilst the Proeliator takes the advantage and gets in a low blow behind the refs back, dropping Eric to his knees.
