Welcome to this week's Sunday Night Surge. The Twist of Fate tournament continues this week with yet another twist of fate: based on the apparent lack of interest - all due to no-shows - in chasing the hardcore title, I have REMOVED all no-shows from the tournament and am revamping the rules a bit. As of right now, Shogun Rua, Tendai, Schoneboom MMA, Angelus, Caramon Majere are the only ones in the running for any chance at a title shot, with a couple new additions who have recently joined the roster. So, that being said, let's get to it!

The theme of this week's tournament matches is "Bring Your Favorite Weapon." Each Fighty fighty person may bring one (1) weapon of his choice (this is reflected in the staff - feel free to RP! :-) )
ToF Match #1: Shogun Rua v. Angelus - Singles ( 1 - 1 - 2)
Winner: Shogun Rua (No-Show)
ToF Match #2: Trenton McIntyre v. Tendai - Singles (1 - 1 - 2)
Winner: Trenton McIntyre
ToF Match #3: Schoneboom MMA v. Caramon Majere - Singles (1 - 1 - 2)
No Contest

Anthony Zinc v. Viper of VOW - Cage
Viper of VOW makes his debut this week for GHW on Sunday Night Surge. It's always nice to have new blood join the family - and I suspect there will be blood tonight when he takes on Twist of Fate tournament dropout Anthony Zinc in a cage.
Winner: Viper of Vow (No-Show)
StrikerLT v. y2000j - Ladder
StrikerLT is willing to put his career on the line in order to face Travis Truth for the title. He may just get his chance, but he needs to focus on his opponent this week, y2000j, if he wants to even make it to Gods v. Heretics.
Winner: y2000j
Bruiser Brody v. Travis Truth (Non-title) - Hardcore Singles (1 - 1 -1)
This is going to be Bruiser Brody's farewell match in the Hardcore Division. He gets to take on the current title holder, Travis Truth, in a "what might have been?" match.
Winner: Bruiser Brody
