Remorseful The scene opens to a shot of Matt backstage- in his locker room. He is sitting in his normal wrestling gear, in a metal chair stationed near his a wooden bench that is occupied by his duffel-bag. The King of Violence has his elbows pressed down on his quads and his head held ponderously in his hands. He doesn't look into the camera, only at the floor under a door is heard creaking open. Violence slowly lifts his head to see who it is entering his locker room, then just drops it back down into his hands. Skull enters the frame, with a concerned look now projected on his face. He grabs a seat and pulls it next to his partner before sitting in it. The Horrorland Native places his right hand on his leader's back and pats it thoughtfully three times before speaking to Matt, who still denies his devoted team member any eye contact.
"Come on dude, don't beat yourself up over it. Scally understands that you did what you have to do- he just doesn't like the type of hardcore environment us to do."
"I broke us a part..."
Matt trails off, his voice very low and full of remorse. He finally sits up straight in his seat, crosses his arms and looks directly into the distance in front of him- no one thing catching his eye- just the blank wall. After a moment of silence, Violence reaches deep into his denim pockets and pulls out his prized Golden Ticket- holding it with both hands on top of his lap. His empty eyes gaze down at the shinny ticket- while rubbing the edges of it with his thumbs. He begins to speak again, still looking down at the ticket as if taking to it.
"I was more devoted to this elite team than anything in my life. I just let my greed and hunger for a shot of gold get in the way it all. My destructive ways again getting the best of me, and destroying the one thing I worked hard on making good- the Justice System. I didn't start this stable for my own personal interest, I started it because I knew my two best friends in this business would be happy ruling GHW with me, and would enjoy giving the fans something good and entertaining to watch."
Matt shakes his head when he finishes speaking. Letting his head fall back, Matt looks up at the ceiling with thousands of thoughts running wildly through his head. After picking his head back up once again, Matt takes the Golden Ticket and holds it to the side of him; directly in front Skull- looking for Skull to take it from his grasp. Once Skull grabs the edge of it, Matt let's go leaving his Pureblood Partner to stare at it confusingly.
"Keep it. I don't deserve it, not after what I did to earn it. Taking out my own friend and partner- despicable old me! You keep it and get yourself a title shot- you stayed true to the Justice System throughout the whole thing- you deserve it a lot more than me, Skull. Do good with it."
Not at all wanting to accept the gift, having not earned it, Skull places it on Matt's lap while shaking his head. Skull looks at Matt as if he just grew three heads before speaking to him.
"What's gotten into you man. It was an every man for himself match at Code Blue. Just because AJ got injured at your hands doesn't make you a bad person- you faught for this ticket, you EARNED this ticket. I can't accept it, you were the better man out there- I were I would have had that ticket to begin with, but I don't so you cash it in when you want! But I'm not."
Matt reluctantly shoves the Golden Ticket back into his pocket. Skull raises to his feet after giving his partner a friendly slap on the shoulder. Matt looks up an rises to a vertical stance as well, still not any happier, or moved by anything Skull said- clearly only listening to the demons telling him he is wrong.
“Now let‘s go. We have some announcements we have to make. ”
With those words, the camera fades on the Justice System walking out of the locker room.
---------------------------
After coming back from a commercial break, the camera swings around the arena aimlessly. It catches all the excited fans as they cheer on boisterously when the camera points their way. Soon enough, the lens closes in on the announcers table where two sharp-dressed men smile into the it. The men are Collin and Al, Collin being the first to talk.
"Ladies and gentlemen we are fresh off a Pay-Per View and I got to tell yah', what an exciting one it's been. There was blood, sweat and tears spilled in that ring two days ago, by the buckets. I've never seen a more excite crowd than at Code Blue!"
"There's no denying that it was exciting, but I got to say Fuzz, the results where quite unexpected and mind-boggling to say the least. I thought for sure Magnus was going to walk away our New Age Champion. Not only that, of all people, MATT VIOLENCE secured himself a title shot! What could HE possibly do with an opportunity like THAT?"
"Ladies and gentlemen, please rise and give a warm welcome to the Justiice Systeeem!"
As if on cue, the opening, high-pitched scream to Avenged Sevenfold's "Scream" resonates throughout the PA system, causing the fans to explode when they hear it. Matt steps out dully, with no spring in his step what so ever. Skull steps out from behind the black, draping fabric right after Matt, a little disappointing with his leader's behaviors as can be told by the expression on his face. Matt strides down the ramp, not really interacting with the fans much, only giving a very few people high-fives on the way down. His partner however, shows the same love for the fans as always- greeting every willing fan he sees on his way to the ring. Matt enters the squared-battle ground via the steps, with Skull sliding in on his stomach. They are both standing in the center of the ring, when Matt points to Coors, telling Skull to get the mic. Skull obliges, trying his best to cheer his partner up. After procuring the mic, Skull rejoins Violence by his side, then waits for his theme to die down. After both the song and the fans pipe down, Skull raises the mic to his lips and begins to speak.
"Two days ago, all three members off the Justice System took part in a match where we knew we would have to cross path with one another eventually. It just so happened that my good partner Matt here, didn't decide to show any remorse towards his partner. Those choices, along with his hardcore wrestling talent lead him to become the winner of the first ever GHW Golden Ticket winner, which guarantees him a title shot anytime he wants in the next three months. Though Scally has decided he'd no longer like to be apart of the Justice System, we will live on- just myself an Matt to make sure you fans stay satisfied. Now, without further ado it's my honor to give you, Matt VIOLENCE!"
The fans give the man-of-the-hour a loud standing ovation upon the pronunciation of his name. He can't fight off a smile, but only wears it proudly for a moment's time, before going back to a much more serious face.
Thank you, Skull. GHW fans, and Justice System fans alike- it's to my shame that I inform you that there is no more Justice System. After letting Scally's self-relinquishing of himself I've come to terms that the wonderful stable, alas can be no more. With that said, I would like to tell you all that these last two months of being apart of such a respect stable as brought me closer to you all and wrestling in general. I learned so much doing this! I really hate to say it's over, but all good things must come to an end sometime! So, the Justice System is adios. Skull and I've been talking, however, and we've decide to stay together. While the Justice System is over, the SYSTEM is just beginning!
Hearing that, the fans erupt with cheers, all directed towards the two. Matt can't hide another smile, but he soon wipes it off his face and returns to his serious expression. That serious expression slight changes to one of anger, as something angering seems to go through his mind.
"But now, it's time for me to move on. Move on to something much, much, much more important- no matter how important the Justice System was to me, Pyro tops in at number one on my concerns. Pyro, at Code Blue, you made the biggest mistake of you life by accepting my challange, as much as I appreciate it and can't wait to get my hands on you, I almost feel bad. Because I have a horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach- a feeling that by the end of the night I will be JUST like YOU! I feel that by the time I'm done with you- you'll be DEAD!! Making me a murder, making me just like you! But I won't regret a damn thing! YOU'RE SO DAMN UNLUCKY TO HAVE OUR MATCH ON THIS DAY! I'VE REACHED MY BOILING POINT AND LOVE THAT I GET TO TAKE IT OUT ON THE PERSON I HATE THE MOST-YOU!"
With that Matt angrily drops the mic and exits the ring, being quickly followed by Skull who fallows him to the back. Matt's intentions became clear, and by the look on his face everybody knows just how serious he is. He means every word he said, and has his mind set on carrying out those deeds.
EORP: Comments, please! I worked really hard on this RP. I gave an inside look at Matt's heads and emotions. I also hope you all like how I am handling Scally's leave from the Justice System and how Matt feels about everything going on. Sorry about any grammar/spelling mistakes, was in a slight rush.
