Just before the referee could slap the canvas a third time Reeves’ shoulder flies off of the canvas. A sigh of disappointment is let out by the crowd but the look on AJ’s face expresses an even greater disappointment. He gets to his feet and measures Reeves up, clapping his hands together in which the crowd mimics building momentum for the moment. He was going to hit his finisher on the Television Champion and pick up his first win in weeks.
“I think it’s safe to say that AJ Scally is going to pull of an upset here tonight. He’ll be the first person to beat Reeves since he won the title at Red White and Blue.”
“Please, Colin. You should try to be realistic. There is no way in hell that Reeves’ streak would be ended by some washed-up has-been like AJ Scally.”
By the time Reeves drags himself to his feet he is grasped from behind and lifted into the air by his opponent. Before AJ could flip Reeves over he loses his grip and the Sketch Kid slips behind him where he clocks him in the back of the head with his exposed, right elbow. The sound of the blow echoes throughout the arena and leaves the People’s Champion standing in the middle of the ring partially bent over from the devastating attack.
“Boom, got ‘em!”
“That sounded painful…”
The New York Native capitalizes on the moment and spins AJ Scally around before he reaches between the Aussie’s legs with his right arm and reaches around the neck with his left arm. Reeves then lifts his opponent up and turns him around so that he is held upside down and then drops down to a seated position, driving the People’s Champion down to the canvas neck and shoulder first with the Sketched Out! The crowd, knowing it’s over, begins booing as Reeves remains seated and hooks one of Scally’s legs as the referee slaps his hand onto the canvas once, twice, and three times.
“Here is your winner…‘The Sketch Kid’ Reeves!”
“And it’s over…”
“I really thought AJ had the win there.”
After pushing away AJ Scally’s limp leg, Reeves rises to his feet where he is greeted by his bodyguard Eli Young. The big bag bodyguard hands the Television Championship over to the champion before turning his attention to AJ Scally who is stirring on the canvas in pain. Mr. Official reaches down and grabs AJ by his hair before dragging him to his feet, unfortunately the finishing maneuver by Reeves did not knock Scally out completely and he begins throwing big kicks that knock Eli back against the ropes. The People’s Champion follows up with a clothesline that takes the big man over the top rope and down to the padded floor on the outside.
“The People’s Champion still has some fight left in him!”
“Shut up, Colin. He already lost the match there is no reason for him to fight now. It’s pointless.”
“No, it’s not pointless, Al. He’s fighting for survival; he’s fighting so he knows he can wake up tomorrow morning without a cast on his arm or neck.”
Reeves holds the Television Championship ready to smash it into his opponent’s face but Scally dunks under it and leaps into the air slamming both of his feet into Reeves’ back knocking him into the turnbuckle and causing him to drop his title. The moment El Negro turns around, he is greeted with a second dropkick that knocks him back into the turnbuckle and has him fall down into a seated position. Just as the People’s Champion is getting fired up Mighty Man Millson II and Big Robertson Ryder hit the ring from through the crowd where they surround the People’s Champion.
“Mighty Man Millson and Big Robertson Ryder? Did Reeves accept their offer?”
“We’re about to find out, Colin.”
After a moment of tension Mighty Man Millson steps aside and offers AJ Scally a way out of the ring. Confusion arises among the masses at what is going on before there eyes and AJ takes the Daddy’s Boy up on his offer. As the People’s Champion walks by Millson he is suddenly stricken with a blow to the gut that takes the wind out of him and sends him stumbling backward. Enraged by being tricked by the younger talent, AJ charges toward Millson but is caught from his blindside by Robertson Ryder’s boot. The two begin stomping away at AJ Scally giving him no chance of fighting back.
“Is this really necessary? They should be focusing on their tag match later tonight instead of picking fights with Reeves’ opponents.”
The People’s Champion’s spirit is not broken as he tries to get back up but the two hammer him back down to the ground. They pick away at Scally’s body until Eli Young re-enters the ring and rips the prey away from the two predators. He grabs AJ by the throat and squeezes the breath out of the smaller, more agile man before lifting him high into the air and slamming him back-first onto the canvas with a chokeslam that looks to have snapped the superstar in half.
“This is great! These guys seem to be working together now and are sending a message to the whole locker room! Ladies and gentlemen, Tuesday nights have just become more interesting!”
“This is just sickening, Al. How could you support such behavior?”
With AJ Scally’s body lying lifeless in the middle of the ring, Mighty Man Millson helps Reeves up from the corner where he hands over the Television Championship and shakes hands with his newfound ally. Outside of the ring, Robertson Ryder snatches the microphone from Charlie Coors before returning to the ring and handing the microphone to the Sketch Kid. Reeves places his right boot on the side of AJ Scally’s face and leans on that leg as he begins to speak.
Reeves stares directly into the camera with his serious expression that he has used so many times before. He then hands the microphone over to Mighty Man Millson II and steps backward off of AJ’s face giving the floor over to Millson so he can talk about his match later on in the night or whatever else he deems relevant.

“Earlier tonight a man by the name of Dustin Delta won a match earning the right to face me at Code Blue for my coveted Television Championship. Dustin, look at what has just happened here tonight, are you really going to take such a risk? If so, you might want to get some life insurance for your family when I…we leave your lifeless body in the middle of the ring. Don’t mess with me, Dustin; I’m not a man to be messed with…”
