This wouldn't be an issue if Kahlan waited until a TNT episode for a match with Hawkeye. This problem should partly be blamed on her--she knows and is aware that she has a Tag Team Title, and she should know the PPV events is where title matches happen--so Kahlan should be able to put two and two together. But there is part of the problem that falls on Night's shoulders. I mean, Hayden and Roadkill don't have No. 1 Contenders--so why challenge for the Tag Team Titles? And if he does win, who's his tag team partner gonna be? What, is he gonna be Matt Morgan, finding a different partner every night? I say Alex should
A) Go for a different title. B) Find a tag partner

The problem here lies solely on the shoulders of miscommunication. Maybe Alex should have told them sooner, maybe Shawn should have explained it to Kahlan, maybe the staff should have told the champs of the situation. Whomever YOU think should have taken it upon themselves to fill in all concerned about the story, the fact of the matter is everyone knows now.
All that can be achieved from this thread has been. Matt knew about the idea, Rob approved it, Ryan has approved it inside this thread that there is over half your management structure.
Alex Night has chosen his time, his opponent and his titles, it's for everyone else to decide how they're going to work around that. This thread is now locked, please contact a staff member to bring up any issues you may still have with this.

Final word. This is NOT going to turn into a unch of monkeys throwing crap at each other.
- Alex: You can use your challenge however you see fit. However, should somebody throw you a curveball and run an angle on the storyline where they "find a loophole" then that will be fine also. If this loophole means you can only challenge for one of the tag team belts, then so be it. Make the most of it and think about what will make the best storyline. Remember that Night is not exactly going to walk in, lay down his ticket and thats the end of the story. If I was a belt holder, I would be trying my hardest to come up with a counter-angle too.
- Kahlan: Now that its out in the open, it is your job to be pro-active about this and turn it into a positive. Alex has laid out his hand, so what are YOU going to do? Come up with a counter-angle would be my suggestion.
- Shawn: I'm expecting that you'll play along with whatever the angle is. Its not like you have a choie, you're kinda backed into a corner here.
- Everybody else (not including staff): This is not your argument, although your opinions are valued, they are not always helpful. Back off.
There we go. Everybody is on the same page.
