{Writers notes: Once again a thanks to Darth for coming into the match, much appreciated for someone itching to get started.}
Beast stares down at Mulligan watching his prey like an owl preparing to strike down at a mouse hiding in the grass. Initially he ignores the commotion, like he remembered Pavor telling him to ignore any distraction, until the urge breaks him. Turning around just in time, Beast dodges Mo Hawk’s first interfering clothesline attempt and sets his sights on his new prey immediately. Turning around and coming back for round two, Mo Hawk charges at Beast a second time but makes a very painful mistake. Ducking low, Beast wraps both of his arms just under Mo Hawk’s thighs and hoists him high up in the air before spinning one hundred and eighty degrees on the spot. Then, forcing his shoulder down in the process, Beast sits out and slams Mo Hawk spine first into the canvas with one of his signature finishers, a sit-out spinebuster bomb, the Beast Bomb. Instantly on impact, Mo Hawk lets out a loud groan and grabs at his sides before rolling himself out of the ring, officially neutralizing himself as a threat in this match up. Behind his black wrestling mask, Beast grins, knowing he more than likely just saved himself the match.
The distraction, however, gives Mad Dog Mulligan just enough time to push himself up to his feet. Looking at Beast and sizing him up as his back is turned, Mulligan prepares himself to take down one of the most lumbering kills in his life. Just as the big man turns towards him, Mulligan charges; looking to take the Masked Monster down with a huge lariat. Beast now fuelled on the adrenaline of the kill, side steps the lariat and runs full speed at the set of ring ropes just behind the Scottish Street Rat. Bouncing off of the ropes, Beast extends his right arm and throws his entire body weight towards Mulligan. Nearly flipping backwards from the impact, Mulligan collapses inside of himself while Beast quickly throws himself on top of his opponent after his other finisher, the massive charging lariat, the B Line.
Colin “The Fuzz” Jennings:
“There is no way he’s going to manage to get up from that... I’m pretty sure he practically knocked Mulligan’s legs into his own body... The referee is down, administering the count...”
“Big” Al Mulligan:
“... Two... And three. This one is all over folks! One Hell of a way to get this crowd fired up for the biggest night of the year! Too bad this is an untelevised match, this would be great on Triumph...”
Charlie Coors:
“Ladies and gentlemen, recording his first victory in Glory and Honour Wrestling via pin fall. Your winner... BEAST!” [/center]
Beast stands with his hands raised in the air in the ring, almost as if he just won the Stanley Cup. Today was, without a doubt, the proudest day in the life of such a towering behemoth. In such a proud state he barely notices his surroundings; The audience, unsure of whether to cheer or jeer, sits applauding, a good start to any pay-per-view. All the while Mulligan continues to lie on the mat grabbing his head, still unsure how to react from such a stiff clothesline. Most importantly though, Beast doesn’t notice the fact that Mo Hawk, not entirely pleased by getting Beast Bombed into the mat, has climbed back into the ring looking to poach the Beast with a steel chair. Sizing him up, Mo Hawk cocks the steel chair back, ready to cause some major pain and-
Black out.
At least just for Mo Hawk as he crumples in his shoes and falls lifelessly to the mat. The thunderous and almost frightening loud echo of something with ferocious velocity colliding with bone drowns out the arena. Beast, the referee and everyone in the arena for that matter turns and looks at Pavor Nocturnus who stands over Mo Hawk, his elbow still lifted and cocked high up in the air after being driven into the back of Mo Hawk’s head. Pavor’s expression, despite being hid behind the burlap sack, seems solemn just through his body language. ”Fear of the Dark” by Iron Maiden begins to lowly play throughout the PA system while Beast, seeking some sort of gratification from Pavor, receives a much appreciated nod of approval. In a low, growling voice, Pavor speaks only loud enough for those in earshot to hear.
Possibly not even hearing what Pavor said or choosing to ignore, Beast shrugs it off and continues celebrating in the ring as if this was a world title victory. Soon however, a stagehand at ringside orders everyone out so the show can begin just as a small promo begins airing on the big screen with ”I’m Made Of Wax Larry, What Are You Made Of?” by A Day To Remember playing in the background officially starting Glory vs Honour: Full Circle.
End.
Comments and criticism welcome.
