This Fire Burns by Killswitch Engage starts to play over the speakers, as a deathly chant from the crowd can be heard. The screen goes to clips of some of the sickest moves ever performed in GHW history, and some of the newest moments in GHW. As the clips come into view, the crowds noise can't be heard over the sound of the music.
The clips begin with Hawkeye and Alex Stall fighting in one of the most intense matches in history. The clip shows Alex performing a picture perfect Heretic's Cross onto the limp body of Hawkeye. The next clip shows pictures of a fight in the Arena between Brett Steel and Vladmir T. Strife, both men bleeding gruesomely.
The clip then turns to Lrey performing the most devastating Death By Angels ever, onto Hawkeye through the Titan Tron. The screen flips over to Hawkeye standing atop the same Titan Tron, unmoving, and with slight fear in his eyes, as he jumps off the top performing a multi corkscrewed Elbow Drop. These clips end with Alex Stall holding up the Jr. Heavyweight Title in tears, and pride showing greatly in his face.
The scene goes around to show a fully packed Arena, the crowd holding banners that say "World Warz" and "The Best Damn Standings". Lrey is standing in the middle of the arena, wearing his usual street clothing. Lrey has a smile on his face, with that same clipboard in his hand. Lrey looks into the crowd, as some sparks shoot out everywhere, showing that the show is about to begin.
Lrey: Welcome to Sundays Sickest Standings! And right now I will review the high points of this weeks shows. This possibly being the highest point almost ever in Gods and Heretics Wrestling, this week a Dream was realized, and a legacy stopped. This week Alex Stall beat Hawkeye in match to become the new Cruiserweight Division Champion, beating Hawkeye in hair raising match. The next bit of news, is that Dave Carter finally lost. Himself and Trickshot, fought Jeff Hardy and Desperado in the biggest match in Genesis this week. And also Vladmir is back in action, and after a match vs. Rurouni and Brett Steel, it seems that the leave messed with him none, being that he won. We are under an hour away from World Warz and well, this promises to be one of the greatest Pay Per Views we have ever had, and possibly the best! And now onto the Show!
The screen goes around a few moments as a small bit of clips come in. The clips show results of the weeks matches, and the after maths. And at the end of the clip, Vladmir Strife, Desperado, Alex Stall, and Lil Rey Ray stand under a shower of pouring down Lime Sparks, all of the men in their wrestling gear and making their famous stances. The screen then goes back to Lil Rey Ray, with the crowds chants almost deafening to himself in the ring.
Lrey: Well! This weeks Number One spot goes to the new Jr. Heavyweight Champion, The Canadian Angel himself Alex Stall! This man is a good guy, and a Forsaken Angel, and giving the name it deserves. This week in one of the greatest matches I do believe I have ever seen in my life, Alex Stall came out of the match the new Cruiserweight Division Champion. But what is more impresive is this is his second run with the GHW Cruiserweight Division Title. He is the first man to hit that mark, and well damn proud to see it, great job and also Good Luck in the future.
Lrey: This weeks Number Two is the greatly styled Fighty fighty person, he is The Future Jake Diamond! This man is possibly the most talented man in Gods and Heretics Wrestling, moving up in this Ranking greatly since he came to it. Jake Diamond has been making his competition go to their limits every match, and has had some very memorable matches against some of the best in the business. Jake Diamond Congrats.
Lrey: Vladmir Strife, congratulations on being the Number Three in Sundays Sickest Standings man. After leaving on a little break after a horribly sick match against Brett Steel, the leave almost being an entire month, you are finally back in action. Vlad, and what an action you are back in, defeating Rurouni and Brett Steel for your ever so coveted Hardcore Championship. Vlad you have been undefeated a very long time buddy, and well I am starting to wonder "When is someone going to knock you down"? Well all I can say is when that day comes, Armageddon does as well, I see you raising all hell to get them back. Good Job man.
Lrey: The Number Four will go to Gnarfflinger the Butcher, who this week won yet another match. This guy has been on fire winning all his most recent matches. This dude has some skills man, and I wouldn't mind going toe to toe with ya sometime soon. Frying Pan against Ladder, ha what a match that would be. Hey man goos job on all your winning and you are Number Four.
Lrey: This weeks Number Five is the possible new, New Age Champion, Desperado. He and Dave Carter have been fighting endlessly for many weeks now, and this week Desperado finally beat Dave Carter in a great Tag Team Match on Genesis. Dave right now is the New Age Champion, but if he don't step it up, then at World Warz only a few minutes away, he will lose that nice title of his.
Lrey: After losing a Tag Team Match to Desperado, this man is Number Six. Dave has been doing great thus far, but slipped up slightly and fell a lot. That kid has a tight grip on his title though, not giving it air to breath near someone else. Desperado out of everyone should know this, barely missing out on winning the title many of times. Dave you have been doing great man, just get your footing back and jump back up.
Lrey: After losing the Jr. Heavyweight Championship, Hawkeye drops horribly down to Number Seven, this shows that a slight shake, can turn your world upside down. But Hawk is a great competitor and as far as some may see it, it may have been a fluke, this being Alex's first win against Hawkeye. Well Hawk I would love to see you with that title once again soon, but I would love to see myself with it to as well. But by any chance Hawk you have been doing great, and will undoubtedly bounce back to the top soon enough.
Lrey: Number Eight goes to myself for some of the slight things I did this week. This week I defeated Giordano in a Singles match and have helped run GHW's Music Festival. Also I am heading into a Hardcore Cage Match against Rhaps, and well I am damn ready for this. I would like to wish myself good luck *chuckles slightly*
Lrey: This weeks Number Nine, is the companion to Desperado in a purely great Tag Team Match. This match showed all the abilities that Jeff Hardy to a tee. Jeff has been doing great since he came to Gods and Heretics Wrestling and is still improving right this second. Good job dude.
Lrey: Well we are finally at Number Ten aren't we? Well this has been fun, and I will give Number Ten to Trickshot, the Owner and Thug of GHW. He has seen this company grow up, and a future Hall of Famer. Trickshot has seen the highs and lows of this industry and will proudly do so again. Trickshot this week you went into a Tag Team Match with one thought, "win". Well you and Dave Carter came up a hair lengths away from that, and showed your abilities greatly trying to win. Trickshot, their isn't much I can say but just keep fighting and trying dude, and Good Luck.
Lrey: We are now at the most anticipated part of Sundays Sickest Standings! This is the Match of the Week part of SSS. And this weeks Match of the Week goes to Alex Stall and Hawkeye. These two men fought in a great match, no one seeing a clear winner, the two Angels doing all they could for that Jr. Heavyweight Title. The match went through greatly, but ended in a Modified Powerbomb and a bridged pin. This giving Alex Stall the title, and his second run with the title. He has become the only ever Two Time Cruiserweight Champion in GHW. And I do believe that Hawkeye is going to be shooting for the same. These two men deserve the title, but are fighting to see who will do whatever to get it.
Lrey: Thats it for Sundays Sickest Standings! And that is the rankings, and the big news. The Match of the Week was a great match and truly the Match of the Week. Everyone who was on this list was the best of this week, and the Number One was the best of the week. Congratulations to all who made my list, and good luck next week!
This Fire Burns by KillSwitch Engage comes back over the speakers, as clips of the weeks highlight moves and moments come over the these clips. As the camera starts to fade out, the cheers of the crowd can be heard at a deafeningly magnitude. And the music to begin World Warz begins to play just as SSS goes off.
End of SSS
