The door with the name "Desperado" is shown.
Desperado is walking with a staff member who seems to be giving a tour of the arena, showing him what is where so that he can get used to the place and can move around on his own without getting lost.
Staff Member: "Finally we arrive at your locker room, as you see the sign is now on, here are your keys. The room has been decorated but you may add your own personal touches if you like."
Desperado gives a nod and with that the staff member leaves Desperado on his own to face the new world of wrestling he had entered.
Desperado opens the door to his locker room. It is much better than the shoddy apartment he previously lived at. The locker room consisted of two rooms as well as a bathroom. The first is a locker/gym room. It contains a large bench and lockers across the far wall. This is where Desperado is to change into his match gear.
Desperado drops his bag on the bench and examines how the locker works. He pans across the other half to see a skipping rope, a punch bag and some dumbbells, exactly as he had requested as this is where Desperado spends most of his time on. Training.
He walks through to the other room which is a lounge area with a small kitchen. Desperado seems pleased with this room as it reminds him of the home he lived at as a kid with his parents. There is a large couch and a 50" plasma screen T.V stuck on the wall opposite.
Desperado helps himself to the couch and begins to watch one of the classic wrestling matches to relax and learn a few new tips.

Wreckingball knocks on the door, and comes into the room.
Wreckingball: Yo. Hope I'm not disturbing you, I just wanted to come and ask you how you're finding things here so far? I also came by to say thank you again, for not leaving me in the ring waiting all night.
Wreckingball grins, and continues speaking. Wreckingball: So apart from your thumbtack match, how have your first couple of weeks gone here at GHW?
Wreckingball waits for a reply...

Desperado switches the T.V. off and gives a smile at Human Wreckingball, glad to see someone after spending a few days training.
Desperado: "Great to see you Human Wreckingball, ... good to know there's someone looking out for me. Your more than welcome here anytime."
Desperado offers for Wreckingball to take a seat. Wreckingball accepts with a smile.
"Apart from the Thumbtack match, things have been a little quite. A little too quite, I was looking forward to the match against Ricky Rodriguez but I guess he chickened out. Besides there's no need to thank me, I am here for whoever needs help and since now we're a team I'll always have your back."
"So do you have anything planned for the Coven or are we gonna keep it low for now?"

Wreckingball sits down, grinning...
Wreckingball: I'll always have your back too, don't worry. As for the Coven...I'm not going to purposely start any trouble with them, I'm just going to make their lives as difficult as possible. I mean, going out every night and yelling "The Coven suck d***, the Coven are a bunch of ingrates"....it's all true, but the fans paid to be entertained, not ranted at.
Wreckingball looks around for a while, and notices the tape: "Classic Wrestling Matches, Volume 1." Wreckingball: Good choice....I wish I'd taken part in that one. Shame it was before I got here...anyways, I heard about your no-show, and I'm sorry. That sort of thing does happen a lot here. I know it counts as a win, but it's just not satisfying.

Desperado: "Yeah I agree. I mean like I do get counted as the winner but I didn't deserve the win as there was nothing I did. Besides, It' s not just me losing out of an opportunity to prove myself but these fans don't get to see something that could have been a great match."
Desperado heads over to the fridge to get a bottle of Lucozade. He offers one to Wreckingball who looks back at him with a puzzled face, expecting to be offered a beer or something.
"Sorry thats all I keep besides pure fruit drinks. Gotta stay in shape and keeping beer here would only tempt me drink it. I stick to my Lucozade as it provides me with all the energy I require for my training, do you get what I mean." Wreckingball gives a litle smile before giving a little nod of the head.
"As for the classic tapes, ... It's what motivates me, Inspires to keep on fighting. Seeing some of these legends carrying on through all the pain and suffering to give these fans a show is what kept me in there for so long against Vladimir. It makes me realise that coming into wrestling was the right decision for me."

Wreckingball:.......Thanks for the drink buddy.
Wreckingball begins smiling...and laughing. Wreckingball: Hahahahah.....I heard Vlad was pulling thumbtacks out all the day after your match with him. It was an amazing debut....I was really impressed with it.
Wreckingball starts thinking.... Wreckingball: Ya know, I'd love a match that ends up on "Classic Wrestling Matches, Volume Whatever". I mean, I've always wanted to make it onto a "Classic Wrestling Matches" set.....it's the highest honour that a guy can get, it's better than a title.
*Desperado raises an eyebrow* Wreckingball: A title only lasts until someone beats you, but "Classic Wrestling Matches"...thats a lifetime. *Wreckingball drinks some Lucozade, thoughtfully, then laughs...* Wreckingball: Excuse me for a moment. Desperado: Of course.... *Wreckingball leaves the room, and returns a few minutes later, with a folded black bundle*
Wreckingball: Remember when I asked you for a match....and you agreed? Well here's some incentive for you to win. If I can beat you, I'd be honoured if you wore this for a few weeks. *Wreckingball hands Desperado the folded black bundle and sits back down. Desperado unfolds it. It is a "Human Wreckingball" t-shirt. Desperado begins laughing.....*

OOC: That would be quite hilarious.

Desperado looks at the T-shirt and back up at Wreckingball sending a grin.
Desperado: "You know what HW, ... I accept your challenge, as you will soon realise, I love challenges. To lose to a legend like you will be an honour as it will wearing your T-shirt. After all, I am a fan."
"If we had a match it would go down as one of the greatest matches in history and I promise to give everything I got and make sure this match goes down for a 'classic match' DVD. Perhaps not now but will be there for the future young Fighty fighty persons to look at the talents of today. The talent of 'The Human Wreckingball'. It can be something your remembered by."

Wreckingball laughs....
Wreckingball: Thank you, but flattery will get you nowhere, I'm not a legend yet. If I lose, I will of course do the same for you, I will wear a "Destiny has arrived" shirt to the ring, for a month. Listen, if we have this match, I'll only be putting half of the work in, to turn it into a classic match. Whether you win or lose, I'll be expecting you to work just as hard.
Desperado nods at this.
Wreckingball: I've noticed something weird, since I became a Fighty fighty person here at GHW. I want to know what you think. I've noticed that I'd much rather fight people who I know, and like, and trust...than people who I have a problem with.
It does sound strange, but when I'm booked against people I have a problem with, I don't enjoy the match, and I only care about winning the match, while hurting them as much as possible. That's not the right way to do things. I'd much rather fight a match with one of my friends, even if I lose, because then I know that I've done it all for the fans.
*Wreckingball looks resignedly at Desperado.* Wreckingball: Hey, that's where I started, and I owe them. That's why I hate the Coven so much, I guess, because they don't give the fans what's due to them. I mean, they do have Alex Stall, who does care for the fans, but the rest of them....well, I'm sure you've seen the way Jake acts.
*Wreckingball grins again...* Wreckingball: So, Mr. Desperado....tell me what you got up to before your tryouts for GHW.

Desperado gives a painful stare at Human Wreckiingball as if he had been dreading this question. But this soon turns into a shallow smile.
Desperado:"It's a long story that regards me to what I was doing before the try-outs, but if you want to know then here it goes."
"It all started off when I left home after an argument with my dad, Can't exactly remember what it was, but it was something about not believing in me. Well here I was in the middle of Brooklyn, all alone."
Wreckingball nods as he is understanding what Desperado means.
"To make a living I started off with a small gang but since I was n't strong enough to fight they made me train most of the time day and night. This went on for weeks. I woke every morning with aching muscles by I continued to grow stronger. Seeing my progress, the gang members decided to make me fight in a underground wrestling firm. This was quite popular in Brooklyn although illegal."
"I went off to a flying start winning my very first fight against a new-comer similar to me, however my speed was too much for him to take. I was at the rookie level for a while, fighting to survive. Once I had become a popular fighter and had a outstanding record of 42 wins. My manager, one of my gang leaders decided to start using me for betting. This proved out to be a success until one day something happened that will scar me for the rest of my life."
"I sold the fans who used to cheer for me day in day out. It all happened on the day for my title shot against the World Underground street fight championship, This was equivalent to the World Heavyweight title. The biggest prize. I had a great chance, the chance to become the best but I ruined it."
"Just before the match my manager came to me and told me to lose and do a fixed match. At first I refused but once he showed the money I could receive I agreed. After that match I realised the mistake I had made. The fans managed to work out what I had done and lost their interest and faith in me. I was ashamed at what I had done. I had let the greatest opportunity in my life get away."
Desperado has an expression of anger and shame on his face. Wreckingball understanding the problems of Desperado puts a hand on Desperado's back,
"It happens mate, but as long as we realise our mistakes these fans will always be with us. What is life without a few mistakes and wrong decisions, eh?"
"IT was only a matter of time before I lost interest and suffered an injury which almost ended my career. I later joined The New York Wrestling Academy after recovering. I used up most of my money on this and was rewarded with all kinds of skills and techniques and made me the Fighty fighty person I am today. And thanks to Mikey, My old friend who now coaches and managers me, I got a chance to join GHW."

Wreckingball smiles.
Wreckingball: Everyone gets a second chance at things...and if you deserve it, then you go make the most of it. If you let it slip past, then you probably didn't deserve it anyway. You made the right decision coming here, I hope GHW turns out to be the right place for you. So don't worry.
If you hadn't thrown that match, you'd still be there, in some underground, illegal promotion in Brooklyn somewhere...and sooner or later, you'd get injured again, maybe worse than the one that almost ended your career. Here, in a legal federation...if you get hurt in-ring, then there's medical staff on hand, so you'll get injured but most likely it'll be seen to, broken bones can be set, open wounds can be stitched in minutes. You might need to take a week out or two, but you'll be back in shape with no lasting damage.
That injury though.......I think that was your second chance. You got a chance to make things right and you went for it.
Desperado: Yeah...
Wreckingball sits back, thinking.....
Wreckingball: I would tell you about the stuff I got up to beforehand, but it's nowhere near as interesting. I came from a good home, and when I was sixteen I got into mixed martial arts. I kept with it for six years and also fought in a few smaller federations until I tried out for GHW. My life story's pretty boring, I lived a very sheltered life......It's definately the best thing about GHW....you get to meet people you never would meet otherwise. Anyways, I'm going to tell you something that no-one else knows.
Desperado:.....? Wreckingball: I failed my first tryout for GHW, when I was eighteen. I mean, the judges were very sympathetic with me, afterwards, but I went home and lay in bed, for a week. It was the worst thing that had ever happened to me. I just lay there, for a week, in bed, unable to do anything, I felt that numb. That's why I believe in second chances. I worked harder than ever before, and I got a place in the second tryout. It didn't go perfectly then but I got a place at a developmental federation, affiliated with GHW....and a promise that I would get a GHW contract, eventually. So....I worked harder than ever before, and here I am.
Wreckingball laughs.... Wreckingball: Heh, it's not the past that counts.....we are half of the New Era. Or at least, the New "New Era".

Desperado: "Yeah I guess you are right, I mean if all that didn't happen, I perhaps wouldn't have moved on. Now I am exactly where I want to be. GHW feels like home to me already. Just knowing that I am part of such a large wrestling community gets me happy. I mean when I left home I thought I'd end up living a hard life or end up in jail or even worse, dead."
Wreckingball: "Yeah exactly, thats what second chances are all about. Now you got the chance make the most off it."
Desperado: "Yeah I will, you can count on it. I am sure with the opportunity you have given me of joining 'The New Era' I will make my mark in the hearts of all the fans in this arena and those who couldn't make it. Being part of 'The New Era' for me is liking being part of a new family. I am sure if we work together, we can bring an end to the likes of Strife and his team of misbreeds. they are like a disease and we have the task to find the cure to GHW."

Wreckingball: Yeah, we do need to do something about them...because I know GHW is my home as well, and I want to clear them out. I want to do it for all the other guys, and girls here, who think this is their home. Even if the Coven just walked out and apologised, for being a bunch of jerks, I'd be alright with that....
Wreckingball smiles, sadly.
Wreckingball: To think, I started causing trouble for the Coven, because I wanted fame and glory. Caring about the company, and the people in it didn't cross my mind at all. But now, that's the only reason why I want to carry on making their lives hell.
This company, and especially "The New Era" mean more to me than all the titles in the world....yeah. You guys, you...Rhaps and Skorpio. You're not just a stable to me, you're a family for me too, and so are the fans. I've had so many chances to win matches, by cheating, and I chose to risk losing instead, just because I could never look my friends, or the fans in the eye again.
Desperado nods...
Wreckingball: It's not going to be easy, but it's not easy for any new guy here...and you've got the rest of the New Era behind you. Just don't think that if you're scheduled for a match against any of us...either myself, or Rhaps...or Skorpio...don't take the week off, because I made that mistake one week, I had a rematch booked against Rhaps, and I took it easy that week thinking "Oh, he's a really close friend, it'll be alright.". I went into the ring, really confident, after a week in the bar....and he almost killed me. I have never been in so much pain in my entire life. Not only that.......he then proceeded to eat a tub of ice cream, in the ring, in front of me.
Desperado laughs.....
Wreckingball: Oh, we had a good laugh about it afterwards, but remember...just because you got some really good, trustworthy friends doesn't mean you can have an easy week before the match.
TBC Desperado. Rhaps, Skorpio are welcome to reply too, it would be cool to have you here as well sometime.
