Demon vs Destroyer - Hell in a Cell

*The camera pans around the arena a few times while "Hammerhead" by The Offspring blares over the PA. It shows the ring, which has the unforgiving steel of the Hell in a Cell match around it. The camera soon turns and focuses in on the announce table.*

"Big" Al Mulligan
We are here in beautiful Illinois in the United Center. We had a great opening contest and up next is a match that has been building up over the past week or so.

Colin "The Fuzz" Jennings
That's right. A match between two who have been getting into a bit of a rivalry over the past couple of weeks. And now, it all comes to a halt in the devil's playground. That's right folks...a Hell in a Cell match! So Al, who do you have winning this one?

*Colin looks over at his partner, who has a confused look on his face at being asked this.*

"Big" Al Mulligan
Well I'm not too sure. I guess I would probably go with Demon, mostly because he won their only match last TNT. Which brings me to another important part of this match. The winner gets a shot at the TV Title next TNT.

Colin "The Fuzz" Jennings
Well it seems we are ready to start our next match.

Charlie Coors
The following is a Hell in a Cell match. The winner will get a TV Title shot on the next TNT!

*"Hammerhead" slowly begins to fade away. Then, all of the lights in the arena go out. The bone chilling sound of a little girl screaming begins to echo over the PA. Blue fog begins to rise blocking the stage from view. Then, blue light fills the arena, leaving it in semi-darkness. "Last Resort" by Papa Roach begins to play.*

Cut my life into pieces,
This is my Last Resort.
Suffocation, no breathing.
Don't give a fuck if I cut my arm bleeding.

Introducing first, from the depths of Hell...weighing in at 285 lbs and standing 6'5" tall...DEMON!!!

*The blue fog begins receding as a large, dark figure emerges from behind the curtains. As the fog finally disperses, Demon is seen wearing his trademark hooded black robe over his in ring attire. The crowd give off a mixed reaction to him. Some of them boo, while other cheer. Demon slowly walks to the front of the stage.

"Big" Al Mulligan
Wow! I think this is the first time we have ever seen Demon out here without his manager, Fire!

Colin "The Fuzz" Jennings
Well it's obvious isn't it? Fire wouldn't be able to interfere in this match to help Demon, so he feels he doesn't need to be out here.

Cut my life into pieces.
I've reached my Last Resort,
Suffocation, no breathing.
Don't give a fuck if I cut my arm bleeding.
Do you even care if I died pleading?

Would it be wrong would it be right,
If I took my life tonight?
Chances are that I might.
Mutilation out of sight,
And I'm contemplating suicide!

*Demon stops at the front of the stage. He turns his head around, looking at the crowd. His face is completely covered in shadow from the hood he wears. As he focuses his attention straight ahead again, he begins to walk down the ramp. As he walks, a man in the front row yells, "You suck!" at him. Demon immediately comes to a stop and turns his head toward the man. As their eyes lock, a scared look begins coming over the man in the audience's face. He quickly begins moving backwards as fast as he can, knocking over several people in the process. Demon turns his attention back to the ring and begins walking again.*

'Cause I'm losing my sight, losing my mind.
Wish somebody would tell me I'm fine.
Nothing's alright, nothing is fine.
I'm running and I'm crying!

*As Demon makes it about half way down the ramp...*

BOOM!

*Huge, red pyrotechnics go off behind Demon. Half of the crowd jump, not expecting it. Demon, however, continues his slow walk down the ramp, completely focused on the steel ahead of him. Demon reaches the end of the ramp and looks up at the high steel structure. He pulls off his hood to get a better looks, revealing his masked face. His mouth, which is the only part of his face not covered by the mask, slowly grows into a demonic grin.*

I think that's also a first! Demon is smiling!?

Colin "The Fuzz" Jennings
Well, it is called the devil's playground. And if any man is the spawn of Satan, it would be him.

*Demon walks forward and through the open door of the structure. He climbs up into the ring and stands in the middle. Demon then takes off his robe, revealing him to be wearing black pants and a muscle shirt. He turns and faces down the ramp, waiting for his opponent.*

OOC: Can I start the match?

OOC: It's been well over 72 hours so I'm going to start the match now.

*GHW comes back from a commercial break, during which Destroyer made his entrance. Both of the men are standing in the ring, waiting for the match to begin. Some staff people walk over and shut the cell door, locking it so neither man can leave. Then the timekeeper rings the bell.*

Ding! Ding! Ding!

*The two giants walk forward until they meet face to face in the center of the ring. They begins shouting insults at each other, until Demon delivers a powerful right hand to the head of Destroyer. Destroyer takes a few dazed steps back and then returns with a big right of his own. The two continue to trade punches for some time, neither getting the upper hand. Demon manages to block one of Destroyer's blows and delivers another powerful shot. Destroyer takes a step back and Demon follows up with a quick kick to his gut. Destroyer doubles over in pain, trying to recover. Demon walks over beside Destroyer and lifts up his elbow. He brings it crashing down across the back of Destroyer, forcing him down to one knee. Demon then pulls Destroyer back to his feet by his hair, staring deep into his eyes. Demon continues to hold onto Destroyers hair and then begins punching him repeatedly in the face. Demon eventually stops and drags Destroyer over toward a turnbuckle by his hair. Demon delivers another powerful punch to the head of Destroyer to make sure he stays in the corner before walking over to the opposite turnbuckle. Demon leans against his turnbuckle for a few seconds, and then runs as fast as he can toward Destroyer with his arm outstretched. Just before Demon can connect with the big clothesline, Destroyer jumps out of the way, causing Demon to runs full steam into the turnbuckle.*

Destroyer desperately needed to make that counter. If Demon had hit that powerful running clothesline, it may have been over right there.

Colin "The Fuzz" Jennings
You've got that right. Destroyer was getting whooped, but that counter may have caused a momentum shift.

*In the ring, Demon is still leaning up against the turnbuckle he crashed into, while Destroyer is leaning against the ropes, trying to regain his breath. Both men appear to already be showing signs of pain and fatigue. Destroyer recovers before Demon and slowly begins walking over towards him. Destroyer begins to pound on the back of Demon relentlessly. Destroyer then lifts Demon up to his feet, before shooting him off into the ropes. As Demon comes back, Destroyer lifts him high over his head with a gorilla press. Destroyer continues to hold Demon up, until fatigue begins to settle in, and then throws him over the ropes and to the arena floor. Demon crashes hard on the outside of the ring and lays lifeless on the ground. Destroyer quickly climbs through the ropes and down to the floor. He begins stomping on the back of Demon. With each shot, Demon lets out a shriek of pain. Destroyer then lifts Demon up to his feet and whips him as hard as he can into the cell wall. Demon flies head first into it and collapses to the ground. Destroyer walks over to Demon and lifts him back to his feet, setting him up against the cell wall. He walks back toward the ring and leans against it for a few seconds, regaining his energy, and then charges at Demon, lowering his shoulder.
