Training with Truth & Consequences

[Travis Truth]

Travis is first through the door of the gym. He slides his bag across the floor, where it lands sweetly in the corner of the room. Luther follows behind, taking off his long coat and folding it neatly up and placing it on the floor. Krystal is next to appear, rubbing her hands in anticipation of a gruelling session.

She had met Travis in not too dissimilar circumstances. She used to run the gym in an old fed, and he happened to catch her eye one afternoon. She chatted to him, and flirted a bit and the rest as they say, is history.

Right you two, lock up.

Both men square up to one another, and Luther goes straight for the collar and tie lockup.

Now Travis, I want you to counter that into a...

*SLAM*

...hip toss. Very good. Luther, come back at Travis with an impact move, he hates them.

Travis braces himself as Luther spears into him with the force of a freight train. He hits the deck, wheezing for air.

Stand up Trav. Now what went wrong there?

I... should... have... countered?

Not quite. Use his movement against him and work out where he's going to end up. Luther, a Fall From Grace please.

Luther grins at the sight of Travis, still clutching his sides.

Travis groans as Luther hoists him into the air.

Krystal: Now Travis, lock in a Boston Crab.

Truth attempts a Boston Crab but is shoved back into the ropes.

Krystal: Good. Up you get Trav, go for the Whole Truth.

*CRASH*

Luther side steps Travis and throws him through the ropes where he hits the gym floor with a thud.

Krystal: Back in the ring Trav, now, lock up.

Luther and Truth lock up, Luther being the bigger of the two forces Travis back into a corner. Travis instinctively boots Luther in the shin, grabbing his hair and forcing him into the corner before making a clean break.

Krystal: Good, keep the pressure on each other.

Travis bounces off the ropes, ducking under a Luther clothesline. He follows that up by bouncing off the 2nd rope and hitting a backspring elbow right to Luther's forhead, grounding him.

Krystal: Excellent, excellent. Didn't know you had it in you Trav boy.

Travis winks at Krystal, before recieving a boot to the head from a running Luther.

Krystal: Ouch, sorry.

Luther covers.

Krystal: Uh, Luther, this isn't a match.

Luther: Uh.. oh.. right.

Luther hops off Truth but Truth takes advantage and drives his head into the mat with a DDT.

Krystal: Marvelous. Now, I want to see a dropkick.

Travis lines up Luther and jumps, but his feet are caught by Luther, who flips him backwards so he lands on his stomach. Luther then sits down and applies a Crossface.

Krystal: Luther, you can release him now.. Luther.. LUTHER!

Luther continues to wrench back, Travis screaming in pain.

Luther: TAP! TAP GOD DAMNIT! TAAAAAP!

Luther releases the hold then helps his tag partner up.

Luther: I was just getting into the feeling of a match, because, you know, that's how it'd go down.
