Round 1
Cage 1 (will finish Monday)
Advancing: Jaggeroth & Dominik Santiago
Jag, you really did impress me with your work. What you provided seemed a bit calmed down on the violence scale and it did pay off. Keep an eye on minor grammar mistakes, as they can be a difference maker in even matches. Dominik, you were able to squeeze out an advance in short amount of time, but you and Pyro were very close. Given it was a rush job, fair, and hopefully time will free up and give you a bit more shine.
Comments for Chris:
Always enjoyed your work, chief. Fairly solid, and I can see why you were really able to be a constant in the TV Title picture. This time around, it got a little repetitive with the Jag-Dom-Chris references, so I'd recommend talking in different perspectives, and/or tossing in more nicknames to keep things fresh. Appreciate your efforts, and I'll definitely keep you in mind for more chances to breakout in the near future.
Cage 2 (will finish Monday)
Advancing: Santo Mascaras & Ryan Hughes
Excellent work, Santo, you've portrayed the competition incredibly well. I did have a feeling you wouldn't disappoint, and of course, I know I'm right. As for you, Ryan, you did exactly what I encouraged you in from last match. You spaced out those big ideas, and got excellent pace, and it's actually easier to read when it's less rushed. Good luck to you both, and bravo!
Comments for Enmity:
Man, if there's one thing you know, it's the gruesome deathmatch spots. Those will come in handy sooner rather than later, match pending (hint), but for now try to bring out a bit more realism into things. Of course, I'm not talking like a straight-up wrestling match, just don't do anything more over-the-top than some of the tapes (this is a FMW, CZW, IWA fan talking). Also, I'd like to see Enmity take more abuse and have things be less back-and-forth, have you take the lead since you're heel, and then give your opponent the big comeback.
Cage 3
Advancing: Brian Breme & Anthony Andrews
Very strong work from Brian here, the silver lining when you have such an uneven balance with a cage like this is that the rookies tend to bring out much stronger material. I saw that in both Spark and Anthony. As for you, Anthony, I did enjoy what you had to offer in your debut so far. You have flow in your material, but make sure that you weed out unnecessary punctuation, the commas did make it a tad difficult to read. Nonetheless, quality beat quantity, good luck!
Comments for Spark:
Best posting I've seen thus far from you! You've improved tremendously since your match with Darth. Now, for improvements, really work on sentence structure and punctuation. If you can get the basics down, everything else should fall into place.
Cage 4
Advancing: Desperado & Skull
Fairly self-explanatory. Strong posts from the both of you! Hope you've got some extra free time Skull to do you justice. Desperado, next to no rust on you, look forward to what you can do being in the second stage for an unheard of FOURTH time!
Comments for Chris:
Just show up, brah. I know you can go places.
