--Takes place right after Pyro’s match at Code Blue--
Lonely footsteps are heard clanking against the hard, tile floors of the backstage area. Pyro’s body comes into full view, with a look of exhaustion and anger painted on his mug. Breathing heavily, he stops at the closed door of his locker room. He grips the handle and turns the knob hastily, anxious to get in and meet his men back at the dojo. After slamming the door behind himself in anger, Pyro is shocked to see who is waiting for him in a metal chair; set up in the center of his nearly vacant locker room. It’s none other than the man who Pyro shares great enmity with, Matt Violence. Pyro stands just in front of the door, arms crossed, not worrying to draw his weapon knowing Matt would be easy-pickings given his state. Blood covers the ultimate-contender from head to toe-, as if taking a blood bath. Matt pulls his head up, looking at Pyro with his droopy, heavy eyes.
“As you can see, I‘m in no condition to attack you Pyro. I‘m in no condition to carry out an ambush. All I am asking for is a match, Chris. That‘s it. Just a match! Give me if, Chris! I‘ve been waiting for over two months now, all I ask for is one-more-match!”
Pyro raises an eyebrow unconcern, this being the first time Violence has spoken without an ominous tone. He lets his arms fall from in front of his chest, then props them against his hips, brushing his cloak back in the process. He shakes his head while answering his long-term adversary, Matt Violence.
“You‘ve have plenty of chances back in EVPW- you ruined them all. I have no time for imbecile like you. Get out of my locker room at once!”
Pyro strides past his seated foe- not bothering to acknowledging him any further. Anger builds up inside Matt; as wood gets thrown into the burning fire of hate for Pyro inside Violence’s stomach- feeding his anger even more. Matt runs his hands through his short, blond strands of hair before climbing to a vertical base, letting out a grunt in pain, still hurt from his match early in the night. While Pyro begins rummaging through his duffle bag, he is irked to hear Matt’s croaky voice yet-again.
“I knew it, Chris. You‘re nothing but a coward, actually you‘re beginning to run out of excuses. You know I‘ve gotten better over the years and you know I can take you- you‘re scared Chris. So scared that after you saw me win that Golden Ticket earlier tonight- you decided to throw your match to YET AGAIN avoid me! You know damn well that you could make the Cut Squad your bitch! You can‘t even use Alex being your partner as an excuse for losing, because he‘s beaten Shawn- and he‘s also beaten the Justice System‘s very own- AJ Scally. That alone makes him a well admirable partner.
No more running Pyro! Be a man and accept my challenge for TNT! Meet me in the ring one-on-one. No gimmicks, no weapons, just my skill against yours! I’ve already got it approved by management for Tuesday’s Main Event- settle it once and for all Chris! It’s time to be a man and end this! ”
