Thomas Walker's ContractJames Walker's ContractJake Diamond's Contract
The Boston arena, for the first time in quite a while, was packed to the rafters without a single empty seat. GHW's Dawn of Destruction had certainly breathed a nice breathe of fresh air back into the scene and the upcoming main event had everyone ecstatic. For the first time ever in recent history, Hayden Hardkore was going to face off with Jake Diamond, albeit backed by respective armies. In the build up, the shock of the Fighty fighty person formerly known as Pavor Nocturnus refusing his proteges in the form of the Templar in favour of the brothers Roadkill was enough to tickle the fancy of everyone. Hayden's own choosing of his team, however, left an aura of wonder and well known high-flying activity. It would be a battle of the aerialists against technicians for all out control of Glory and Honour wrestling. Meanwhile, at ringside, “Big” Al Mulligan and Colin “The Fuzz” Jennings quickly glimpse over their notes for the match before carefully quipping to each other the potential outcome. Climbing into the ring, the always interesting Charlie Coors grabs onto a microphone and clears his throat. Standing in the corner, taking a quick stretch, the referee prepares himself mentally for a match that would even push his limits. A three-on-three tornado elimination tag team match would make it almost impossible to call everything. Charlie Coors: “Ladies and gentlemen... The following contest is a three-on-three elimination tag team match and it is for the New Age championship! If Hayden Hardkore obtains the final fall, he retains the title, however if either of his teammates score the final fall they become the number one contender. On the other side, if Jake Diamond gets the fall he becomes champion and, if either member of Roadkill score the last fall, they become number one contenders to the Tag Team titles and Jake becomes the champion regardless! Introducing first...””Diamonds are forever... They wont leave in the night... Have no fear that they might, desert me...” On cue, the emphatic sound of the trumpets force the arena lights to give a quick and violent flash of light before gently humming to ”Diamonds from Sierra Leone” by Kanye West. Not wanting to waste any time, nor coming out to their normal entrance theme, emerge the Brothers of the Deathmatch, Thomas and James Walker. Wearing matching blood red trunks and long wrestling pants respectably, Roadkill both pause on the entrance ramp with their arms crossed across their chests. If not to add to the intimidation factor, emerge the obvious proteges of the young Jake Diamond, the Templar, Beast and Kabul. Taking their place behind both Thomas and James, the two monsters also cross their arms across their chests. CC: “Representing the challenging team... With both members wrestling out of Huntsville, Alabama and weighing in tonight at two hundred and sixty four pounds and two hundred and twenty five pounds respectably... They are James and Thomas Walker... ROADKILL!”Although the crowd simultaneously excited to see Roadkill back in action yet feeling their typical disdain, seemed more unglued for the next participate. In a dying fashion, the entrance tunnel soon becomes engulfed in a shower of sparks. Instantly chants of “Fuck them up Jake, fuck them up!” fill up the arena from the clearly over nineteen crowd before the silhouette of the man who cheated and manipulated his way into their hearts becomes clear. Shooting out like a cannon ball, emerges none other than Jake Diamond. Possibly to match his Roadkill cohorts, his black and red wrestling tights with matching vest, both of which covered in numerous images and insignias, become already a more welcomed sight than a greasy old suit. With both of the tag team titles slug over his shoulders and joined by his rookie Amanda Brooks from the back, Jake outstretches his arms past his sides while Charlie calls for his introduction. “And the captain and number one contender to the New Age championship... He hails from 'The Second City,' Chicago, Illinois and weighs in tonight at two hundred and twenty five pounds... Being accompanied to the ring by the Templar, Beast and Kabul, and his EVO season two rookie Amanda Brooks... He represents one-third of the GHW Tag Team championship... He is the 'Head Hunter,' JAKE! DIAMOND!”At the sound of his name, Jake immediately goes into attack mode. Dropping his arms and lowering the titles to each of his hands, the Future of Professional Wrestling pushes forward past his two minions and his two partners in the match and makes his way down the entrance ramp. Not ones to steer too far away, both the Templar and Roadkill follow Jake Diamond down to the ring and down the same path he lead them for months now; to the promise land. Al Mulligan: “Just a few weeks a go, the identity behind the masked Pavor Nocturnus was one of those many wonders of the world and yet now... Now we have Jake Diamond main eventing in 2011! Who would've thought?!” Colin Jennings: “Honestly, I know Jake, I know how he is... He's one of those guys where 'the end justifies the means' but... After what he did to everyone here, I don't think that could just pass...” AM: “It doesn't matter what he does! He's Jake Diamond! After all of this time, the longest reigning mid-weight champion as the Triumph Champion has come back home, and for the world title no doubt!” CJ: “It's the one thing that's evaded him his entire career... He's beaten and fought all of the greats. You can list them, and he's pushed them to their limits... A career of mind games and torture yet, I still don't believe Hayden is willing to lie down for him.”With an order as simple as pointing, Jake orders his monsters Kabul and Beast to flank themselves around the ring before sliding in under the bottom rope. With the sick, twisted, and maniacal smile he's grown to cherish, The Savior quickly pushes himself up to his feet before pausing in the middle of the ring. With both of the tag titles firmly in his grasps, Jake Diamond looks over his shoulder and watches as the brothers Roadkill climb into the ring before outstretching his arms far past his sides and tossing his head back, staring up at the ceiling. On cue, both of the members of the Templar raise their hands in the air in the shape of a diamond, along with numerous members of the audience; Jake Diamond had stapled his mark. As his entrance theme slowly dies, Jake turns to his new tag team partners and raises the titles up, signifying that this could be theirs if they wanted. Nodding in agreement, the Walker brothers back up to the ropes and gaze out at the entrance tunnel. Taking a walk over to the ropes himself, Jake passes off the tag team titles a his vest to Amanda Brooks, who looks up at him unsure of what to make of the man who wrapped himself inside of her head. Jake, however, at this point was indifferent. His expression was serious and solemn, the look of a determined serial killer. Like the cold, calculating machine he was, thousands of thoughts ran though his head, all of which were strategies to implement on the match. Slowly pointing his hands at the entrance tunnel, in the shape of finger guns, Jake Diamond was slowly zeroing on his target; Hayden Hardkore, and the championship he claimed. TBCB: Hayden.

Hayden HardKore's ContractLevi Storm's ContractAJ Scally's Contract_________________________________________________ Almost as if on cue, just as Jake Diamond pulls the trigger of his imaginary pistols, aimed directly up the entrance ramp, a familiar song begins to play. As the grungy sound of CKY's "96 Quite Bitter Beings" begins to echo out through the arena, the capacity crowd rise in anticipation. The song plays through well into the verse before any signs of life are seen at the entrance curtain. In this time, the lights had dimmed down and dozens of searchlights scan over the crowd, waiting with bated breath. As the lights converge together half-way up the entrance ramp, three shadowy figures can be seen against the Dawn of Destruction backdrop, atop the entrance stage. They are spread out evenly across the stage, a belt-like shape dangling from the shoulder of the figure in the center. Each one has struck a different pose, with the figures either side facing away from center and the man in the middle kneeling. As the lights get closer, the men break their poses, stepping into the bright lights of the Pay-Per-View's main event. Hayden walks ahead, flanked by Levi Storm on the left and AJ Scally on the right, the men walk with a confidence, warmly greeting the fans as they go, the Jackasses swan-song blaring out to accompany them. ~~Charlie Coors~~ Introducing secondly... At a combined weight of Five hundred and Eighty Nine Pounds. The team of Levi Storm, Evo Season one Winner, AJ Scally and the current New Age Champion, the Jackass... Hayden HardKore. At the sound of the mens' names, the crowd around the arena launch into a new round of cheering and chanting. With the capacity crowd at a fever pitch, the men don't waste time in bantering about, each taking off simultaneously toward the ring and their waiting opponents. In the ring, Jake, Thomas and James Walker wait for their opponents, each with their own cocky and confident swaggering smile on their faces. "With my perceptions in a mix Down twenty miles through the Styx To the cloudy town of Hellview: Population 96
Excessive vacancy, well maybe In the shadow of an eye All the strangers pass through Where the rules just don't apply" As the men charge their way toward the ring, the crowd rally behind them. Looking at the seemingly unsurmountable odds they have before them, neither of the three men falter, hesitate or turn back. They charge directly at the eye of the hurricane. ~~Big Al~~ Look at the difference here Fuzz. Roadkill and Jake Diamond tip the scales at more than Seven Hundred Pounds. What did Hayden and his band of merry men weigh in at again?
~~Fuzz Jennings~~ True, Diamond and Roadkill have more than a hundred pounds on the Champion's team. True, it's Jake "Fucking" Diamond and "Freaking Roadkill"... But Hayden is a man of surprises.
You're talking about a man who has been named the Undisputed Champion not once, but twice. Not even Vladimir Strife himself can claim that!
~~Big Al~~ I hope the Jackass knows what he's doing. Otherwise, this is going to be like lambs to the slaughter. Either way, I'm going to love it! The men each slide into the ring, taking up an entire side of the squared circle to enter. As they rise to their feet, the three challengers are there to meet them. Thomas Walker steps forward to stand nose to nose with the impressive new signing, Levi Storm, James steps up to stand toe to toe with AJ Scally and in between the two Walkers, Diamond steps forward to stand ego to ego with the Jackass. Having no way of controlling the six men, the referee pleads with the men to take themselves to their corners, but nobody budges. All it takes is the referee stepping forward to remove the title slung over Hayden's shoulder for all hell to break loose. As the referee turns his back, the fists begin to fly. By the time he turns around again, a six man brawl had erupted, with each man intent on doing as much harm as physically possible, uncaring about their own personal defenses or well being. Before the referee had even rung the bell, the match had unofficially begun. Fists are slung across the ring like insults, only hurting much, much more upon impact. As the match threatens to spiral out of control, the referee calls in extra support to break the brawl up. In a flash, ten burly men wearing black "GHW" t-shirts had appeared from ring side and proceed to pull the men apart from each other in anticipation of the start of the match. After much laboring and waiting, the men are returned to their corners. Wasting not a moment more, the referee finally calls for the bell, to let the brawl resume. TBC Jake or Roadkill. OOC: Is it Tornado or regular tag rules. (Can somebody PM me with a ruling?)

Although just recently separated from the all out brawl, the ring bell doesn't stop the frenzy. Despite the referee standing in his path in the middle of the ring, hoping to establish this elimination tornado tag match under some type of order, Jake Diamond sprints forward. Undergoing the same cut-throat and merciless game plan, Hayden Hardkore surges towards his number one contender as well, neither man backed by their respective teams. Hoping to take the element of surprise, The Wellington native jumps up at his opponent and raises his knee, but the self proclaimed Savior of Professional Wrestling seems to have his number. Lunging forward at the flying Hayden, Jake wraps both of his arms tightly around the back of the Kiwi's legs before slamming the cruiserweight back first to the canvas like a mixed martial arts fighter. Continuing with the purely physical onslaught, Jake squirms forward on the downed Champion before throwing a barrage of wild and poorly aimed fists, barely even connecting against the far too agile Hayden Hardkore. It doesn't take long before Scally and Levi Storm swarm the aggressive Chi Town boy, attempting to break him off of their leader only to be met by the equally as resistive force of Roadkill.
Al Mulligan: “This is nothing but an all out battle royal! Damn it, referee, restore some order! This match is going to become a double disqualification before anything happens!”
Colin Jennings: “Restore order?! Hayden refuses to ever back down and, knowing Jake, he refuses to ever stop until his opponent is motionless and their teams are the exact same!”
AM: “I can't even grasp the amount of disgust all of these men have for each other! Jake and Hayden are legends with some real up and comers and this is how they're behaving?”
CJ: “Jake dishonoured everyone on Hayden's team and demanded his spot in history. Hayden earned his! He's never been able to beat Hardkore and, personally, tonight wont be any different!”
Overwhelmed and stressed out by the severe chaos exploding before him, the zebra tries to throw himself in between the mixture of technicians and aerialists but only receives strong protest. However, before the referee even has a chance to threaten a disqualification, the bottom soles of Hayden's boots push off against Jake's ribs, kicking the Second City Skull Crusher back. Sprawling forward from off the canvas, the New Age champion wastes no time in his attack, flying forward at thrusting his right shoulder into Jake's gut and ramming him back into the far turnbuckles. Trying to fend him off, the former Masked Messiah hammers a few forearm strikes into the back of Hardkore before pushing him off of him. Darting forward, Jake swings with a low, snap right kick to the side of Hayden's left leg, the echo of bone on muscle leaving a bone shivering sound. The kicking spree, however, doesn't end there as the Head Hunter swings with another kick but this time to Hayden's ribs resulting in another sickening smacking sound. Looking to go for the knock-out blow, Jake pushes all of his weight down on his right foot before taking a step forward and aiming for Hardkore's temple with a high roundhouse kick but under estimates the champ's speed. Ducking under the high kick, Hayden takes a burst forward and jumps up to the middle turnbuckles before springboarding back and rotating his body around mid-air. Turning around at possibly the worst moment, Jake watches his own fate hurtle towards him in a meager one hundred and ninety-three pound frame as Hayden torques his right foot around and connecting with a springboard enzurgiri to the back of the number one contender's head.
Meanwhile, back on the other side of the ring, Roadkill looks to take ownership of the match themselves. Knowing each others styles almost all too well, the Walker boys attack in stereo, first directing a powerful forearm into both Scally and Storm's faces. Thomas, setting his sights on the comparably smaller Scally, quickly plants a kick into the Aussie's gut before swiftly putting the EVO I champion in a front face lock and swinging his arm over behind his head. Without a moment's hesitation, Thomas quickly snaps back and flips Scally over his head, flattening him with a snap suplex. James, although known for a much more of a physical presence, principally takes the same route, wrapping his meaty arm around Storm's face and hooking his leg before tossing the relatively newcomer with a T-Bone suplex. After the stereo suplex's, James and Thomas turn and give each other an approving nod, pleased with their easy disposal, before turning around to face their opponents and coming across a different than expected outcome; that of Jake Diamond collapsing face first to the canvas, selling a springboard enzurgiri like a gunshot to the back of the head from point blank.
“Do you know what I still don't understand? Why the Hell did Pavor, I mean Jake, even choose Roadkill? There's no way the Templar would risk taking the glory from him...”
“Because, think about it, The Walkers have something to gain in this plus the Templar are at ringside... Jake covered the bases. He even brought Amanda for Scally! It's this Levi Storm though... He's a real wild card.”
“Hayden did train him after all... He's the Kiwi's star pupil and hand chosen against three of the biggest names in the history of wrestling... Personally, I think it's quite the introduction.”
“Not only that but a big mistake! I mean, a man who had a six month losing streak and a nobody? He's paving his way to lose his championship tonight... I guess Hayden wants to become the champion of nothing...”
Taking a quick look down at the dismantled Diamond, Hayden's eyes raise up to the two men who have challenged his grail for so long now. Before allowing the two men who consider him their mentor get up, Hardkore decides to live up to his reputation and advances towards the two sons of the deathmatch. Greeting him halfway, both of the Walker brother's come surging forward, arms outstretched, looking for an attempted double clothesline, only to fall victim to the Kiwi's agility as he ducks under and dodges the attack. Looking to go toe-to-toe with the Alabaman's, Hayden spins Thomas around on the spot and throws a loose punch at his face before doing the same to James. Regrettably, though, Thomas and James prove to be too overwhelming and simultaneously lift a knee into the New Zealander's gut. Quickly wrapping their hands tightly around the champ's wrists, Roadkill throw Hayden forward towards the ring ropes, hoping to clear the Kiwi's head clean off of his shoulders, but are granted with a different response as the New Age champion wraps his arms across the top rope, halting his run. Not ones to be out maneuvered, the Walker brothers rush forward looking to send him over the top rope but, once again crediting his speed and wit, the Wellington boy slides under the assault and away from Thomas and James who back themselves up against the ropes. Turning around, hoping to come face-to-face with the lone Hayden once again, the Walker brothers come to grips with another reality; they should have put Scally and Storm away when they had the chance. Recovering from their suplexes, Scally and Storm hurtle their bodies towards the former Kings of the Deathmatch, sending all four men over the top rope and outside of the ring.
Standing in the ring alone, the lone survivor of the chaotic assault, possibly a foreshadowing of things to come, Hayden Hardkore peers out into the cheering audience. Looking over at the still downed Jake Diamond in the corner, then over to the jumble of men brawling outside of the ring, watching as the referee argues with them through the ropes to return to the ring, Hayden decides to allow the fans to choose his fate. Raising a hand in the air, to a chorus of cheers, Hayden quickly points over to Jake Diamond and receives a mix of cheers and boos, the boos from the few die-hard fans in the audience. Taking the reaction into account, the Kiwi points out to the mixing pot of men outside of the ring and, by the uproar of cheer and chants in his name, decides to take the road less traveled. Without taking a single look at his downed adversary, Hayden bounces back first off of the nearby ropes and charges at the cluster of Fighty fighty person's outside of the ring. Grabbing onto the top rope, the high flying champion flings himself over the top rope with a front flip and crashes all near two hundred pounds of himself into the jumble below. With all of the men buckling under his weight, the audience leaps to their feet, Hayden once again living up to his “hardcore” moniker. However, it would be the possum Jake Diamond who would receive the day in the sun. Quickly scrambling up to his feet from in the corner, the Head Hunter wastes no more time than he already had and ascends up to the top turnbuckle. Throwing all caution into the wind and taking only a second to glance back at the groggy group of men barely forced up to a standing position, the Future tucks his center of gravity low, bringing his gut down to his knees, before kicking out and back flipping off of the top turnbuckle into the group outside of the ring with a remarkable moonsault. Colliding with the brunt of his body into the group, all of Jake's insides practically recoil all within him, nearly feeling his lungs ricocheting off of his ribs. Rolling off of the pile and holding onto his ribs, Jake was visibly in pain, the strong sensation of his mind sending a warning to his body that something was wrong while the fan's, loving every second of the match thus far, continue their uproar of cheers.

From the six men all fallen in a heap at the feet of the ring, Storm was the first to his feet. Gasping for air as he climbs out from beneath the mountain of men, as if he had just broke through the surface of the sea, regaining the breath of life. Storm staggered a little, not used to such high intensity matches, or the pressure of having to face off in such a high profile match in front of such a huge and demanding audience. He held the barricade around the ring for support, just enough for the moment’s rest before he remembered where he was and the task that was at hand. Storm immediately jumped back into the pile of fallen bodies and pulled out his mentor and idol in Hayden Hardkore, trying to make sure he was okay. He then reached out for AJ Scally, his ally in this match-up, making sure both were able to continue this match-up. The newcomer looked over his shoulder and was in two minds of whether or not to making use of the injury sustained by the ‘Savior of Professional Wrestling’. However, to his bad luck, the demonic brothers both began to stir, both angry and their eyes opening at the same, darting in Storm’s direction instantaneously upon opening.
The rookie stands over both his team-mates, gulping hard as the two larger men begin to regain their stances. Without warning, Storm’s right foot kicked forward, with the sole of his shoe striking against the side of the younger of the two brothers’. It knocked Thomas down but not enough to put him out of action. James on the other hand, began to haste in his recovery, rushing forward before he had even gotten a chance to stand. His shoulder grafted into the pelvic region of Hayden’s disciple, flooring him in the process. The heavyweight mounted Storm and began plummeting his fist down into the visage of the Ohio born Fighty fighty person. Storm threw his own arms in front of his face, intervening James attack before throwing forward a fist of his own to strike the elder Walker just below the eye. Levi’s eyes fell upon Thomas who had now fully recovered from both the high-flying attack by Mr. Hardkore and the kick he had bestowed upon him and he was heading to take care of both the man who took him out and his rookie. Storm forced himself forward, throwing his body into the legs of Thomas Walker, tackling him to the ground, before his could lay his hands into either of his team-mates.
“Quite the team-player he is, this Levi Storm. Hayden picked his team-mate out well.”
“This mentor and tutee relationship seems to be quite strong. Interesting because I don’t think even the Walker’s are this close and they’re blood related. Kinda creepy don’t you think.”
“I think it shows great character when you have such respect and love for the man that taught you.”
Having taken Thomas down, the Lightning Kid was just about to punish him for going after his leader when his victim’s older brother took him by the grasp of his ankle, yanking him off Thomas’ body before lifting the 200 pounder off the ground by his foot and sending it back down with ferocity. Thomas got back to his feet, annoyed at the persistence of the newcomer. He looked toward his brother who gave him the silent agreement with a nod. Thomas took Levi by his blonde hair, forcing him up to his knees by the roots of his hair.
James takes a few strides back, smiling whilst doing so before coming to a halt, having found the perfect distance to do the greatest damage. He leans forward in his right foot before pushing off with his left, gaining the momentum needs but just before he could make contact with Levi’s skull, Thomas was forced to release the hair of his foe thanks to the intervention of AJ Scally with a heavy right hand against the inside of the former King of the Death-Match Champion. With Levi free to escape, he ducked his head into his body and threw himself to the ground, avoiding the big boot of James in the nick of space, resulting in the attack taking out his own brother. The shoe of 34 year old drives itself deep into the gut of his younger sibling, winding him in the process.
Scally cannot contain his laughter at the event that occurred in front of his eyes which causes the Road Killer to become infuriated. Just as he looks to dish out the same fate to the EVO Season winner, he finds his ankles pinned to the ground with the arms of Levi Storm wrapped around them. James attempts to shrug Levi off end in vain as the ever so resilient youngster holds on. A look of desperation appears on James Walkers face as he turns to face Scally, who by now has already several feet of the ground with the only thing left to do being the forcing of his feet into the face of the Heavyweight. The power of the dropkick, combined with the immobilization of his movement, James lost his balance and the ability to stay standing, causing the largest man in the match to tumble to the ground.
“What great team-work by Hayden’s protégé’s. They’ve combined ability with intellect to take out both members of Roadkill.”
“I’m afraid it’s going to take a lot more of such feats to take out these incredibly accomplished brothers. I still find it hard to see Hayden’s little team here gaining anything from this match.”

Propping himself up against the security barrier, Jake continues to hold onto his ribs and stares blankly up at the bright and spotty ceiling. With every breath he could feel his lungs pushing his chest out, which was a good sign since not breathing would certainly be a problem. Cocking his dizzy head down, Jake peers over to his left to the all out brawl continuing outside of the ring and shrugs before looking back into the ring. Through his glazed and clearly pain stricken emerald eyes, the Savior looks at the face of the referee and a sudden sense of panic overwhelms him as the official, still failing miserably to restore order, raises his ring count to eight. There would be no chance for Jake to become champion if everyone was counted out. With desperation kicking in, Jake pushes himself forward and, apparently blind to the mass hysteria beside him, slides into the ring under the bottom rope untouched and officially breaking the count. Rolling onto his back, the Future takes in another deep breath and releases the sly smile knowing that he just bought himself some time. That is, of course, before he feels another presence sliding into the ring.
Letting out a low sigh, Jake stomached the pain and quickly placed his hands back on the canvas before cocking his legs back, loading his knees deep into his chest, before springing himself up to his feet with a kip-up. Turning on a dime, for the second time in the night, The Head Hunter walks directly into his fate as Hayden Hardkore, making his way back into the ring from the outside skirmish, boots the charismatic Chi-Town kid in the gut. Thanking that the New Age champion didn't make connection with his tender chest, Jake decides to capitalize before the Wellington native has a chance to. Throwing his right arm high into the air from his crouched position, the wild strike pays off landing flush with a European uppercut, forcing the fellow south paw to stumble back. Shuffling forward, Jake throws a snap kick into Hayden's ribs before, not leaving his stationary foot, connects with another quick one to the exact same location. Reeling off of the two lightning fast and equally as painful kicks, Hayden covers his ribs giving Jake the chance to ignite a chop across the Kiwi's chest. The echoing and stinging sound of Hayden's chest floods the arena resulting in the expected response of “WOO”s from the audience.
Al Mulligan: “Jake really has Hayden's number right now! Hayden may have established himself as an often recipient of pain but those strikes are merciless!”
Colin Jennings: “His wrestling portfolio is filled with an assortment of strikes and submissions but, oddly enough, Jake is out of his normal zone. He usually targets something and doesn't stop...”
AM: “I think he just wants to make the champ hurt all over. He knows how Hayden can capitalize on anything and he knows how smart he is; if Jake targeted only one body part, Hardkore would catch on.”
CJ: “True but still... Once it gets down to these two, that I have no questions about, we'll see how it changes and- oh no, Jake's in trouble! Here comes Levi Storm and AJ Scally!”
Engulfed by his onslaught and blind to everything around him, Jake's own determination proves to be his own downfall. Sizing up on the New Zealander, Jake takes a shuffle step to his side, looking to decapitate GHW's Original Son with a super kick but it's a spear from the ever opportunistic AJ Scally that connects first. Making due with his word to have Hayden leave as the New Age champion, Scally charges at the Future and rams the full brunt of his weight into Jake's torso with his shoulder, flattening the number one contender down to the mat. Feeling his entire insides swell against his already inflamed ribs, Jake buckles and lies on the canvas, holding his sides as if they were getting crushed with a vice, giving Levi Storm the opening needed to really make his presence felt in such a high profile match. Quickly ascending the nearby top turnbuckles, the Cleveland Cavalier wastes little time lowering the boom on his incredibly renown opponent. Diving off of the top turnbuckle Storm tucks his knees in, his concentrated weight propelling him down from the top even faster, before exploding them out, kicking the soles of his feet directly into Jake Diamond's sternum. With the little air he gained now knocked by force out of his lungs, The Savior rolls onto his stomach, his feet kicking away just trying to convince his brain to focus on something else other than the assumed imploded organs. Highly unlikely but, after under protecting himself for the sakes of an entertaining move, anything was possible.
“He was just torn a part in there! You can just feel the frustration of everything Jake's put everyone through really boil up into this!”
“If Hayden really wanted to dismantle Jake, he would've enlisted the help of one Dustin Delta... If there's anyone he's put through Hell, it was the King of the Deathmatch!”
“Do you really need to bring that up? And how! Pavor, I mean Jake, tried to destroy the relationship between Scally and his rookie and lets not even bring up the Templar's attack on Hayden backstage...”
“All details. Personally, Hayden had it coming all along. I mean, flaunting those championship titles like he ran the place and fighting nobodies and- Oh! The Walker's are back! Here for the save, just in time!”
Praying for a Savior of his own, Jake doesn't have to wait long before the Walker brothers storm the ring. Seeking their retribution for being downed by them earlier, Thomas and James take down Storm and Scally respectably first with stereo clotheslines. With his two tag partners downed, Hayden advances towards Roadkill but is instantly grabbed by both wrists and thrown across the ring with a double Irish whip. On the return the Walker's decide to give Hayden no chance to counter and charge at him on the rebound, grabbing the New Zealander by the shins and lifting him up over their heads and flipping him onto his back with a double teamed back body drop. Turning back around, the Brother's of the Deathmatch run into exactly what they expected; and incoming Aussie and Storm hurtling towards their path. James, grabbing Scally by the waist, quickly hoists him up into the air before, just as suddenly as he was lifted, slams him back first to the canvas with a spinebuster while his brother Thomas scoops Storm up from his groin before flipping him over sideways with a standard powerslam.
Using the assistance of the ropes, Jake slowly pulls himself up to his feet before falling back first into the corner. Allowing the automatic reaction of his body taking over, Jake lets the gentle numbness take him over and violently shakes his head in protest to the referee's questions if he wanted to end the match. Opening his eyes gently, Jake observes the unparalleled dismantling of his opponent's with the typical smile spread from ear to ear, pleased with his choice of tag team partners. Gesturing a nod over to his two always destructive temporary allies, Jake quickly grits his teeth and shakes the pain out of his head before pushing himself out of the corner. He may be suffering but he would refuse to let Roadkill do all of the work. Not only that, but he refused to lose his chance at his Holy Grail.

When the dust had settled and the smoke had cleared, three figures stood tall, surveying the scene of their destruction. While the smaller, quicker and more energetic team of Storm, Scally and HardKore lay wounded and winded on the mat, all three contorting their bodies into interesting shapes by arching their backs and flailing about the canvas in pain, Roadkill and Jake Diamond take the opportunity to re-evaluate the situation. Throwing off the effects of the match so far, Diamond pushes himself away from the corner turnbuckle and joins the Brothers of Devastation in the wake of their destruction. Hayden is the first to make any attempt to reach a vertical base, pushing himself to his knees without completely knowing the circumstance he is in. All three men lick their lips and wait as the Kiwi battler lifts his head to scout the scene. All Hayden sees is a wall of man-flesh towering before him, as three sets of legs span out above him. Eager to assist in any way they can, the Brothers of the Deathmatch, along with Jake Diamond, hoist Hayden to his feet. The heavier of the Walker brothers, Thomas, snatches the struggling Jackass up into a Full Nelson as Diamonds request, holding the Cruiserweight Champ in place while James and Jake take turns in pummelling the Kiwi’s torso with an array of bruising body blows. Naturally, the trio’s punishment progresses from a free-for-all beating into a well thought out and well structured torture. Taking a moment to break from the body blows, and with the New Zealander sufficiently tenderised, Jake makes a point of back-handing Hayden across the cheek. With a cocky grin that seems so naturally worn upon his face, Diamond closes in on HardKore’s face, getting close enough to smell what the Kiwi had for breakfast two days ago. The pair exchange words through gritted teeth, impossible to be heard by anybody but the pair themselves. With another back-handed slap, Diamond retreats to watch the Walker Brothers do what they do best; pick their opponent apart piece by piece. Thomas tosses the New Zealander about like a rag-doll, the Full Nelson still expertly applied by the heavyweight brother. As he does so, the elder brother sets about working Hayden over with an array of knee strikes and body punches. Standing back, Diamond barks orders at James, telling him to focus on his already tenderised ribs. Walker complies, landing three brutal double-fisted strikes to the rib-cage of the New Age Champion, each one receiving a shriek of pain louder than the last. The delight is evident on Diamond’s face as he steps in once more, pulling James out of the way. With another theatrically wound up knife-edge chop, Jake unleashes more hurt on the New Zealander’s ribs. Again, the cries of “WOOOH” echo throughout the arena, as three chops land home in quick successions, then a fourth, then a fifth. With Hayden’s chest reddened, raw and blistered, Diamond slows, shaking his hand to wear off the pain caused by his strikes. As he does so, the smile on his face returns, he is in control of the match and he knows it. ~~Big Al~~ “Ladies and gentlemen. This is how you wrestle a six-man tag-team match. Look at the way team Diamond has picked apart the leader of the opposition. There is no escape for Hayden, no let up, no way out.”
~~Fuzz Jennings~~ “Team Diamond, is that what we’re calling them now? Either way, this has been an impressive display so far. Roadkill are so cohesive as a unit, that this match falls right into their ball park. Something has to happen to get team Hayden back into this match, and quick.”
~~Big Al~~ “Why bother. He should just quit right now and be done with it. He is outmanned, outsized, outgunned and is just going to wind up getting injured. Hayden should know when to cut his losses.” The brutal beating of the New Age Champion takes a sudden halt as the Full Nelson hold that had been locking the jackass in place is suddenly broken. With Hayden in no fit state to fight back, the mystery catches the attention of Jake Diamond, whose smile suddenly disappears. Soon after, the mystery is answered as Thomas Walker is dragged down from behind, Levi Storm slamming him into the canvas with a Swinging Neckbreaker. In the time it takes Jake Diamond to launch into action and leap across the collapsing carcass of Hayden HardKore to get to the young Storm, AJ Scally also had found his feet. Cutting off the remaining members of team Diamond, AJ targets James Walker, using the combined bodies of Hayden and Thomas Walker as a barrier between what is quickly spiralling into two mini-brawls. Storm is quickly overwhelmed by the pissed-off looking Jake Diamond, grabbing the youngster’s head and marching him over to the turnbuckle, where he proceeds to slam Levi’s skull into the lightly padded steel, a portion of the crowd counting along with each shot. A second portion of the crowd let out a cheer as across the other side of the ring, EVO’s Season One winner, AJ Scally, evens the odds. Soaring around Walker’s surprised body, the Australian high-flier decks the remaining brother in a Tornado DDT that breathes life and momentum back into Team Hayden. His second target is that of the rampaging captain of the opposition. As Diamond slams Levi’s head into the steel for what the crowd accurately claim to be the seventh time, Scally blindsides the Head Hunter with a Shoulder Charge, hoping to take Jake off his feet and drive him into the mat. However, with a quick flick of his hips, Diamond proves the blow to be more of a glancing blow and Scally is sent tumbling through the ring ropes. He lands on the apron, breathing a sigh of relief at saving himself from winding up eating a face full of concrete. His relief is short lived, as The Savior takes a short break from his time dealing with Levi Storm to deliver a Super Kick to the waiting Ozzie. AJ catches the boot directly on the chin, launching him into the air and soaring backward to land uncomfortably on the concrete below. The crowd let out a collective gasp as the sight and sound of the brutal kick hit home. Satisfied, Diamond turns his attention back to Storm once more, picking up right where he left of. With a hand placed over the back of Storm’s head, he attempts to slam his skull into the turnbuckle again, but Levi refuses, drilling a pointed elbow into the guts of GHW’s Savior instead. As the rush of wind is expelled from Diamond’s lungs, Storm grabs his opponent by the head and begins to run up the turnbuckle. As quick as a hiccup, Storm scales the turnbuckle, still holding onto Diamond’s head. With a backward flip, Levi sails over the winded body of his opponent and slams the back of the Head Hunter’s head into the mat. Again, the crowd rise to their feet at the flawless execution of Hayden’s protégé. ~~Big Al~~ “Sliced Bread Number 2, I tell you what, this kid has been trained by the best. He is so fluid in his movement and his execution for somebody so inexperienced. Here he is, up against one of the best in the business, and he is taking the fight to him.”
~~Fuzz Jennings~~ “One thing I am learning from all of this… Don’t turn your back, not even for a second. This match moves so quickly, the momentum changing from hand to hand. It’s exhausting just watching the damned thing!”
~~Big Al~~ “This is months and months of bad blood here tonight Fuzz. These men will not stop until one of them stops breathing.”
~~Fuzz Jennings~~ “No, even then they wouldn’t stop. These men won’t stop until one team of them stops breathing. In keeping with the fashion of the fast paced match, as Storm hits the impressive Sliced Bread #2, he is made aware of a flash of movement, out of the corner of his eye. Scrambling to his feet quickly, his fears are confirmed. Before him, James Walker is on his feet, reaching down to help up his heavyweight brother. The pair of them recuperated from their recent trip to the canvas, close in on the lone figure of Levi Storm. The Cleveland native’s eyes dart from figure to figure, backing away as he waits for the pair to swarm upon him. Before the swarming can commence, a third figure makes his presence felt on the scene, springing up from the map in between the two parties. Hayden leaps to his feet as Roadkill closes in on him. Gritting his teeth through the pain, the New Zealander catches the pair by surprise and hoists James up onto his shoulders. With a groan of effort, the lightweight Champion throws the smaller of the walker brothers into a Samoan Drop Carry, before flinging himself forward. He performs a front flip, slamming James back first into the mat, in a standing version of his patented “Super Samoan Drop”. As the ring shudders from the weight of two men landing brutally atop it, Storm and Thomas are left standing, the weight difference between the pair becoming increasingly obvious. Storm darts for the ropes, turning to run away from his opponent. As expected, Walker has other ideas, and charges off after his spritely opponent like a run-away train. The rookie, Storm, stops suddenly and turns just as he reaches the ropes, as if he would be expecting Walker to follow him across the ring. Carrying the extra weight, Walker cannot stop, nor does he try to, looking to plough right through the youngster and send him sailing out of the ring. Showing instincts of a man with many more years of experience than his own, Storm flattens himself into the mat, pulling down the top rope as he does so. As a result, Thomas Walker topples uncontrollably to the ground below, joining AJ Scally on the outside of the ring where he is abruptly brought to a halt by the incoming concrete. Inside the ring, both members of team Hayden spring into action as one. Hayden and his protégé help James Walker to his feet first of all, groggy as he is. The pair soon disposes of him to the outside as well, performing more of an ‘Over the Top Rope Battle-Royale’ style execution, and lifting him by the feet to let him join his brother. The referee, looking to once again gain some control of the match as the pair continue to clean house, begins a standing ten count for the combatants outside the ring. While Hayden and Storm turn their attention to the remaining man in the ring, Jake Diamond, a frustrated James Walker pushes himself back onto the ring apron, only to be pulled back down by an eager Australian force. Jake Diamond does not go as quietly as the Walker brothers did, managing to land two decent strike into the face of the Jackass, catching the Kiwi on the nose well enough to cause it to bleed, before the pure numbers game catches up with him. The pair simply pick up the captain and toss him out over the top rope and to the outside. As Hayden and Levi celebrate with a double high-five, Jake Diamond crashes into the concrete floor below. ~~Big Al~~ “We started with Team Diamond taking the advantage, but now it seems the tides have turned.”
~~Fuzz Jennings~~ “Hayden and his protégé, Levi Storm clearly have cohesiveness as a unit. Heck, they are clearing house out there… But one thing becomes increasingly clear to me Al…”
~~Big Al~~ “That now AJ Scally is stuck with both members of Roadkill AND Jake Fucking Diamond to deal with?”
~~Fuzz Jennings~~ “Exactly” As to be expected, Roadkill and Jake Diamond soon manage to make lemonade out of the lemos they had been served, taking to AJ Scally in a three-on-one beating similar to that of Hayden HardKore himself. As the referee reaches a rather slow count of “three”, the trio had managed to almost pummel Scally through the floor and leave him in a messy heap on the concrete. Each of the trio wears a confident and satisfied smile as they turn to face the ring once more. Jake is first to turn. He notices the simple nod Hayden gives to Storm. The pair do not even need to exchange words, as if the Jackass’s nod was a switch that simply flicked the team into action. Levi runs toward the ropes nearest Jake Diamond and Roadkill, while Hayden dashes off in the opposite direction. Hayden rebounds off the ropes to gain extra speed, obviously for a well planned out attack, while Levi Storm slides into position, making his back into a bridge by stopping on his hands and knees. The Head Hunter notices what is happening and dives out of the way to avoid any contact with the maniacal Kiwi high-flier. Hayden uses the back of his young star as a stepping stone, leaping into the air and hurtling himself over the ropes. He corkscrews through the air, his arms and legs flinging out in all different directions to add to the impressive sight, before he crashes head first into the Walker brothers, clashing heads with Thomas Walker and letting the rest of his body crash into James, taking the pair nearly out of their boots before they are driven into the lightly padded concrete. To follow up with, Levi Storm springs to his feet before dashing over to the turnbuckle. In a single bound, he leaps to the top of the turnbuckle, just as Jake Diamond is climbing to his feet once more. With a war cry not dissimilar to Hayden’s own psyched up yell, Storm takes to the air, lining up the torso of Jake Diamond and drilling the Savior with a Diving Spear, from the turnbuckle to the outside of the ring. Needless to say, the impressed crowd share their approval for the rapid succession of moves, as a ”This is awesome…” chant begins to make its way around the arena. By the time all man are flattened into the ground outside the ring, the ref’s hands are raised at the slow count of “five”. ~~Fuzz Jennings~~ “Both teams have lain their hands out. Team Jake Diamond, resorting to singling out their opponent and brutally picking them apart piece by piece. On the other hand, it appears that team Hayden is preferring to take on their opponents as a unit, ensuring that none of the three men have a chance to recover. The strategy is intense, the match is even more intense…”
~~Big Al~~ But most intense of all is the history between these six men. None of these men will be the same again after tonight, for that I am sure!” TBC Team Diamond

Lifting himself up from beneath the carnage of his mentor Hayden and Roadkill, AJ Scally emerges from the wreckage and, like a newborn calf, stumbles backward and forward a few steps. Squinting his eyes and quickly focusing on the events around him, the most significant seems to come through the mouth of the referee in the ring. Bringing up the count up to eight the immediate urgency quickly takes Scally over as the Aussie quickly slides into the ring under the bottom rope before rolling back out to officially break the count. Surveying over the mass destruction around him, the EVO Season One Winner decides to pick up the pieces and rolls back into the ring once again and analyze his situation. With his head still ringing and his chest inflamed by the vicious strikes, AJ peers over to the announce table and the young girl sitting beside it. Recognizing the look, Amanda Brooks smiles at the war torn Australian before quickly noticing a small skirmish outside of the ring behind him. Scally wouldn't be alone in the ring for long.
Meanwhile, lying on the cold concrete floor holding onto his throbbing ribs, Jake Diamond closes his eyes tightly and clenches his fists, trying not to allow the pain to take control. Rolling onto his chest, Jake flattens both of his hands onto the concrete, looking to push himself up to his feet, but the young Levi Storm decides to make the man suffer more. Quickly scrambling over to the self declared Savior, Storm grabs the arrogant American in a loose front facelock and tries to drag the man up to his feet but Jake's wily experience proves to be the major factor. Swinging low, Jake hammers a punch directly into the side of Storm's right knee, feeling it buckle on impact. In the same fluent motion, Jake Diamond springs off of his feet and reaches up, grabbing onto the newcomer's head while pivoting mid-air. Interlocking both of his hands and clasping the head tightly against his shoulder, the former Triumph champion brings Hayden Hardkore's favourite young protege to the floor with a momentum shifting Cutter. Pushing himself up, Jake looks down at Storm, his target officially neutralized then back inside of the ring. With his deep emerald eyes, the Head Hunter burns a hole straight into the back of AJ Scally's head, dragging his cross hairs dead onto target. Jake Diamond was about to make AJ Scally regret interfering in his business.
Colin Jennings: “Scally may still be feeling the effects of that assault by Diamond and Roadkill but he managed to make it back into the ring in one piece!”
Al Mulligan: “Not for long, look whose hot on his tail! Jake Diamond is probably the sneakiest and most deceptive Fighty fighty person's I have ever watched!”
CJ: “You should probably throw the word 'selfish' into that mix too... AJ however, has a big chance for his team right here and could eliminate Jake!”
AM: “Right! Jake is going to make easy work of the EVO Season One rookie... If there's anything you don't do it's step on the Head Hunter's toes...”
Sliding into the ring from under the bottom rope, his simultaneous anger and cold, calculating thoughts vanquishing the pain in his body like a quick shot of morphine, Jake Diamond decided to waste little to no time in his attack. Surging forward like a ravenous, rabies ridden dog, the Head Hunter targets exactly that and looks to take down the Newcastle native with a clothesline. In thanks to Amanda's guidance, Scally quickly dodges under the attack and tries to go on his own offensive but doesn't wind up as fortunate. Cocking back an elbow looking to break in Jake's snarling, sneaky, manipulative little face, Scally proves the old adage 'the early bird gets the worm' as Jake ignites a lightning fast chop across the Aussie's already sore chest. Recoiling from the well placed and equally as excruciating chop, Scally stumbles back into the turnbuckles, conveniently enough right by where Amanda sits.
Throwing down the tag team titles from her spot and getting up from her seat, Amanda Brooks scurries over to the man in the corner and not her pro. Enraged, Jake Diamond charges at Scally but, potentially influenced by Amanda's presence, a superhuman instinct takes over forcing the Aussie to narrowly dodge out of the attack. Bouncing off of the turnbuckle, Jake Diamond stumbles back before AJ Scally, fired up from his little 'cheerleader' at ringside, quickly hammers a boot into the Savior's gut forcing the multiple time champion to double over in pain. Signaling for his signature Fan Frenzy, the New People's Champ turns and heads to the adjacent ring ropes, sizing up the Future for the impending knee to the head but, unbeknown to him, is only one step away from everything going downhill. On the return, AJ Scally throws his knee up violently looking to decapitate the Chi Town Savior but Jake seems to have his number. Sprawling back, Jake Diamond just barely dodges the knee to the face and takes a step back causing Scally, with a strong push of momentum behind him, to fall forward against the ring ropes. Holding himself up in place and lacking eyes on the back of the head, AJ is blind to the sight of Jake upholstering his imaginary pistol and raising it up and directing the barrel to the back of his head. Taking a stumbling step back, AJ Scally's fate is sealed as Jake Diamond takes a running step forward before spinning on his toe and raising his right elbow high into the air. Watching from the most direct position available, Amanda opens her mouth, hoping the scream comes out to warn Scally of the attack but only a gasp of air comes out.
Lights out. On impact, AJ Scally becomes dead weight while the sickening sound of a blunt object colliding on a human skull rings throughout the arena. With a spray of sweat flinging off of Scally's body, the audience, torn between the children and women for Scally and the young marks for Jake, let out a harmonious cheer and roar of shock as the Newcastle native falls face first to the canvas. Grinning broad and proudly like a living jack-o-lantern, Jake Diamond falls to the mat and rolls over AJ's lifeless body before draping his own across his fellow EVO pro, planting his right forearm disrespectfully across his opponent's face. Raising his left hand, Jake gestures yet another one of his imaginary pistols but this time aims it at his on looking rookie, sending a message loud and clear while the referee, distracted from his duties to count the mess outside of the ring, falls to the mat and slams his hand against it.
”ONE...
“… TWO...
“... THREE!”
“Coup De Mort! Coup De Mort! Right to the back of the damn head! Scally is down and out for the count, Jesus Christ what an impact!”
“Jake threw everything he had into that one and did it with an assist, albeit unknown, from his rookie Amanda Brooks... Well, looks like we have our first official elimination.”
“And here you were, just sitting there doubting me and what did you learn? That Big Al is always right! Awe poor Amanda... She's heartbroken after that one!”
“And look at that face, that twisted and self righteous bastard! He's loving every minute of it! Does he just like to watch people suffer? Damn it, and, as always, he's got the numbers game to his advantage!”
“Come on now, he's even got the Templar out there at ringside! Jake will never be undermanned and, given how this match is going, it might be a three-to-none clean sweep!”
Pushing himself up off of Scally's motionless body, Jake shoots his arms out past his sides before cocking his head back letting the triumphant sound of the ring bell ringing thrice echo throughout his head. However, recuperating from the outside spot show, Jake's celebration doesn't last very long. Climbing onto the ring apron and giving a quick kick to each of the Walker brothers, Hayden Hardkore, his nose enlarged, swollen and with dry blood patted down against him, climbs back into the ring to an uproarious ovation. Turning back around, Jake's fist lower down to his sides, his arms flexed, veins bursting through the muscles, and the undeniable hatred pulsating through his blood. Taking a step forward, Jake suddenly and out of nowhere lets out a laugh before pointing down at AJ Scally, showing the order of eliminations. Unamused, Hayden raises his fists up, the dukes high and mighty but becomes the victim of unfortunate events as Roadkill, never ones to be counted out of the contest, reach in from underneath the bottom ropes and pull the current New Age out of the ring. Dropping him onto the ring mat outside and laying in a few stomps, the Walker brothers, planning on isolating Storm and Hayden outside of the ring for the count out victory, quickly slide back into the ring. That is, if Jake Diamond would allow it.
Positioning themselves in the ring to block off any entrance from either Storm or Hayden, the Walker brothers stand tall in the ring before a confused Jake Diamond grabs Thomas Walker by the shoulder and spins him around. Pointing to his opponents outside of the ring Jake raises his arms past his sides quizzically before James places a gentle hand on his shoulder. Leaning in and whispering into his ear, James attempts to explain their plan but the headstrong American pushes him away. ”That's the fucking stupidest thing I've heard! I can't win the title by count-out you fucking morons!” were the relatively unwise words yelled from the six-foot-one frame of the Chi-Town Savior in response to the Brother's of the Deathmatch explanation. More concerned with a victory in general rather than Jake's own personal gain, Thomas tries to reason with Jake but a push back to the chest emphasizes exactly what the Head Hunter was thinking. Pointing outside of the ring, Jake orders both of the Walker's to go out there and bring in the two remaining opponents. Stopping James from rearranging Jake Diamond's face, Thomas blocks his brother off before gesturing out of the ring but with an intuitive smile spread from ear to ear.
“This... Does not look good for Jake... Roadkill might have themselves a change of heart in assisting the self proclaimed 'Future'...”
“That's exactly what he gets, exactly what that son of a bitch deserves! Not only did the Walkers come back in to give a helping hand but Jake gives them a tongue lashing for it...”
“He's the future New Age Champion! He can do whatever the Hell he wants! Besides, he just eliminated Scally in this match and what have they done? Nothing!”
“Nothing? So saving Jake's ass from the fire in and out doesn't count? Either way, it's his retribution... He's had the numbers game on his side for months now, it's about time...”
Thinking that his usual list of demands sunk into the minds of the Huntsville duo, Jake watches with a grin as both of the brothers climb out of the ring through the middle ropes and to the outside. Stopping right before Hayden, the Kiwi raises his fists up for a fight but, rather than getting kicked around like expected, Thomas and James grab the New Zealander by the wrists and pull him up to his feet before looking at Jake Diamond. Seemingly even ignoring the presence of Hayden, the brothers Roadkill walk past him and up towards the entrance tunnel to an insurmountable ovation. With it clicking in, Jake becomes unglued, throwing a fit on spot ordering Thomas and James to come back to the ring but it falls onto deaf ears as the New Age champion walks over and scoops up his protege Storm from ringside. With his two opponent's sliding into the ring behind him, Jake Diamond turns back and quickly looks at the referee whose count has quickly risen past five before over his shoulder back at the Walker brothers. Losing all hope, a cold sweat breaks across the face of the Head Hunter; Jake Diamond was left all alone against one of the most devastating forces in GHW history and his expertly trained rookie. This match quickly changed from a three-on-three tag team match to a two-on-one handicapped match, making Jake Diamond, for the first time in what seemed like forever, forced to fight for himself.

(OOC: Hayden was taking a while with his post so I thought I'd squeeze one in.)
The man who hid behind the mask of Pavor Nocturnus had nowhere to turn to. Both the men he had picked to represent Team Diamond in this match had deserted him. It wasn’t even about winning or losing anymore. It was about surviving the wrath of Storm and Hardkore. Now Jake had used his time wisely in the match, studying the one man who he knew very little about, Levi Storm. From what he observed, Storm was very protective over his trainer and was in this match to help Hayden win and retain his title. There was no way he could play them against one another. However, there was something he could exploit.
“Listen kid, why don’t you sit back a-while and let the big dogs battle it out in a ‘one-on-one’ contest to see who is the better man. This is Hayden’s opportunity to show me and the GHW Universe that he still has what it takes, to compete against the best in the business. Winning with you on his side will take that away from him. Do you want to take the spot-light away from your sensei, over a chance to gain some recognition in your first main event? Your opportunity will come. We’ve seen what you’re capable of. Why don’t you follow Road-Kill out of here so we can do this fairly? I sent them away for that very reason. I want to take on Hayden, ‘one-on-one’.”
Silence clouded over the arena as the audience glared toward Levi Storm, probing the expression on his face to get an insight into his thoughts. The pressure was heavy upon the newcomer and in the current situation, a thought-out decision was almost impossible to make. Did the point Jake made have any truth behind it? Would Storm be taking this victory away from the man he worshipped? That was the last thing Storm wanted. Coming into this match, all he wanted was for Hayden to walk out as the champion. The rookie looked towards his captain for a decision. At the end of the day, it was what Hayden wanted that mattered.
There was a smile on Hayden’s face, realising what was going through Storm’s mind, amused at the tricks Jake Diamond was trying to use in a bid to turn this match around in his favor. Hayden saw threw the hand the Chi-Town boy was planning to play. Hayden’s expression became stern as he shook his head from left to right, indicating to Storm that he didn’t want his team-mate to leave but before Storm could process the message completely, the Captain of the opposing team threw himself forward with double clothesline, catching both student and tutor and nailing them to the ground.
“That’s what I call creating an opportunity and then making the most of it when things don’t go to plan.”
“Jake knows he’s in a hole right now and it won’t be easy to get out of it. So he has to do whatever he can, every trick in the book will be used tonight so that he can win that title from Hayden.”
The Savior gets to his feet with a cocky smile on his face, pleased with his accomplishment despite his initial plan not working. Taking the ‘Lightning Kid’ by the scruff of his neck, Jake didn’t waste any time in getting rid of the extra man. He knew he needed Hayden on his own to make the most of the situation right now. Levi fell over the top rope and SMACK onto the unforgiving cold ground beneath. His body falls limp upon impact with the ground, giving the impression he could be seriously hurt.
The returning GHW Legend turns to face the fan favorite over a chorus of jeering from the crowd. He turns around, this time to face the crowd as if to explain his reasoning behind his actions. His right leg suddenly shoots out, catching Hayden full in the face, sending him back to the canvas he had been planning on leaving. The Diamond of GHW put his hands out as if to apologize for his actions before repeating the same action again. The end was near now, Jake could feel it. Once he got rid of The Hardkore King, his disciple wouldn’t be much of a problem. It was time to put an end to Mr. Hardkore once and for all.
Taking Hayden to his feet, The Future prepares for the Second City Sleeper. Hayden helplessly falls onto the shoulders of the Head Hunter as the end looks inevitable. Jake smiles to the crowd, pointing towards them and then to the man on the verge of being put to sleep, pleased with the position he was in. Just as the Second City Sleeper was all but left to be executed, the breath of life returns to the New Zealand native. His eyes spring open and immediately his arms grab hold of Jake’s right arm whilst his legs wrap across his left. Jake realises he is no position to execute his finisher but is too late to make sense of what was to happen next. Shifting his weight toward his back, Hayden Hardkore forces Jake to fall backwards, unable to keep his balance. The New Age Champion shows his experience in turning matches around as he twists his body upon impacting the canvas and follows up with a quick roll-up catching both the referee and Jake Diamond by surprise. The zebra-striped official falls to the ground and begins to count the fall with a one. The second fall follows the one but before the third can be called, Jake manages to untangle himself and get out of the match-threatening position.
“He almost had it. The champion almost retained. I bet Jake didn’t even see that coming.”
“Jake was lucky to get out of there but kudos to him for doing so. This match is still open, it can go either way.”
Jake shows his resilience and spirit to win this match, returning to his feet quicker than his antagonist. The Head Hunter grabs Hayden by the hair almost immediately upon returning to his feet, smashing his knee into the gut of his rival. He follows up another knee to the gut, smiling to himself at keeping the advantage in this match. He then chauffer’s the Kiwi into the ropes with a forceful Irish whip, using the muscle power stocked within the shoulders of his arms. Hayden flew back across the ring, picking up momentum, having recoiled against the wired roping. Jake was settled on taking the high-flyer out with a pre-planned clothesline but the Hardkore King was able to predict his opponent’s maneuvering. Ducking beneath the proposed clotheslines, Hayden found his way to the ropes again, this time greeting the one’s on the opposite side of the ring. Jake went for plan B, improvising his game-plan to go with the Hayden’s reflexive dodge, deciding to catch Hayden on the return and heave him into the air. The New-Zealander however had other plans. The lightweight jumped over the middleweight’s body with an attempted sunset flip but unfortunately for him, Jake’s feet were planted firmly on the ground and he kept his balance, not allowing Hayden to follow through but much to Hayden’s advantage and the ill-fortune of Jake, Levi Storm had just come rushing through to the aid of his partner. His mind was already made up and only the execution remained.
The kid from Cleveland shot his right foot forward in a flash, the front of his boot making a swift and accurate connection with the jaw of Mr. Diamond with a ‘Lightning Strike’. The strength behind the kick is channelled through Levi’s leg, conducted through the chin of Jake’s body and through to the pain receptors in the Savior’s mind. The force of the kick allows the New Age Champion to follow through with his initial move and is awarded with a pinfall attempt. The referee gets to the ground in a hurry and begins to count down the elimination of the final member of Team Diamond. Much to the disappointment of the fans and Team Hardkore, the pin fall was disrupted by the arrival of Beast to the scene who swiped away at the referee’s leg, pulling him out of the ring in the process.
“A sunset flip followed by a super-kick to the face. Ooooh! What a combo? They almost had Jake eliminated there.”
“What great team-work these two are showing tonight. Hayden sure knows how to pick them. You would be surprised to know they haven’t actually competed in a professional match together before.”
“It looks like Beast has decided to become part of this match now as a support to Jake now that the Walker’s have gone.”
“It was never a 3-on-3 in the first place. Jake had bought his goons to use for his advantage all along. Road-Kill leaving only evened the odds.”
Beast cackles like a hyena as the referee gets to his feet infuriated at being dragged out of the ring. He tells Beast exactly what he makes of his act with a finger pointed to the face before pointing toward the exit of the arena banishing him from remaining at ring-side. It didn’t look like Beast was going to take heed of the referee’s words and looked to remain standing firmly on the spot, unfazed by the referee’s words, not looking to move an inch. It began to look intimidating for the referee all of a sudden until he young Levi Storm decided it was time to intervene. Launching himself over the top rope of the ring in a diving senton, Levi crashes into the large man, not only moving from his stubborn spot but tumbling to the ground.
To be continued...

The match itself was anything but a structured, pure wrestling affair and, given all those who were involved, it was probably expected to be nothing short of anarchy. Blinking wildly and gently opening and closing his jaw, Jake laid flat out on the canvas certainly feeling the effects of Levi Storm's vicious super kick, the unreal force of his foot connecting with his face feeling more like a baseball bat rather than a human man's foot. Looking down at the disorientated Diamond, the New Age champion quickly looks over his shoulder to the carnage outside of the ring, of his protege lain out on top of the Masked Monster, Jake's own personal rookie, Beast. The referee may have been occupied, reached out through the middle and top ropes arguing with the two men outside of the ring, but it wouldn't stop Hayden Hardkore from giving this match the ending it deserved. Pointing over to the nearby set of turnbuckles, Hayden was signaling for the end, the demise of the man known as The Savior, to the gratuitous ovation of all of his fans at ringside. Placing his foot up on the middle rope Hayden quickly pushes himself up before placing his other foot on the top rope, his back turned to the middle of the ring. Forcing himself up and standing with rather impressive balance, a foot on either side of the top ropes, Hayden looks back into the ring to make sure Jake Diamond continued to lay in the ring, however it shouldn't be him he was worried about.
The second of Jake's eager disciples decided to make himself felt in the match, just like his destructive “brother”. Climbing up onto the ring apron, careful to note the referee's distraction by his brother in arms, Kabul sizes up Hayden before rushing towards the former two time Undisputed champion of GHW. Bringing his left leg up before pushing it down to swing up his right, like riding an imaginary bicycle, the massive Kabul drives his right foot into the side of the Kiwi's face before he has a chance to fly, removing the high-flier from his perch with a Chainsaw Kick. On collision Hayden's eyes roll to the back of his head, the kick sending not only an excruciating sense of pain through his body but an entire feeling a numbness overwhelming his entire self. Falling back almost poetically, Hayden's feet slip from his spot high atop the turnbuckles and become clipped by his signature spot in the ring forcing him to swing back, his already damaged head colliding into the canvas while being trapped in the always volatile Tree of Woe. The outcome, although, doesn't prove to be much too beneficial for the Dysphorian Destroyer, Kabul, either. Due to the narrow ledge of the ring apron and his massive wrestling boots the landing from the Chainsaw Kick was nowhere near as graceful as it could have been causing the big man to stumble off of the apron and fall rather comically to the outside ring mat below. It seemed, as though, the only one who benefited from the move was none other than the selfish Jake Diamond who, it could be assumed, didn't see a problem in the mayhem.
Looking up from his comfortable spot on the ring canvas, Jake Diamond looks at the gift bestowed before him; a seemingly unconscious Hayden Hardkore hung in the Tree of Woe. Still dizzy and disorientated, The Head Hunter sees the cross-hairs aligning themselves and rushes up to his feet. Coming up too quickly, Jake's head instantly becomes a blur and blindly stumbles back into the far turnbuckles. With his hands lain high on the top ropes and slouching down in the corner, Jake tries to concentrate on the head of the New Zealand native but is too out of it. Shaking the cobwebs from his mind, the Future opens his eyes wide and grits his teeth before charging forward. Aiming at the skull of distorted image of Hayden Hardkore, Jake leaps at the near mid-point of the ring, bringing his knees high up into his chest and headed feet first. Flying through the air, seemingly suspended by nothing more than the pure amazement of everyone in attendance, Jake quickly kicks his feet out at the last possible second, unloading all of his pent up aggression directly into the face of the already sore and battered Hayden Hardkore. With the ring shaking from the jaw shattering impact the fans in attendance, already getting more than their moneys worth, ignite in another spurt of cheers but, this time, dividing the audience in half with simultaneous “Let's go Hayden!” and “Fuck 'em up Jake, fuck 'em up!” chants.
Colin Jennings: “The Templar may be getting kicked out but they've damn sure made their presence felt! Hayden was about to hammer in the nail in Jake's coffin but Kabul's presence cleared that right up!”
Al Mulligan: “You should know by now Colin how hard those coffin nails are to pull... They're a well paid security force and they've damn sure earned their cheque for the night!”
CJ: “Is that who you want as a champion? Who you want representing our company?! Jake Diamond cheats at every single opportunity!”
AM: “But he gets away with it! That's exactly what I want, a champion who will do whatever it takes to succeed! Who wouldn't want to rely on such a competitor?!”
It was at this point, wrapped in all the nonsense and drama overwhelming the title match, the referee had enough. Sliding out of the ring, getting directly into the face of Beast and the incoming Kabul, the official threatens to disqualify their charismatic leader if they do not leave the ring area. Throwing Levi Storm away from him, Beast, through mumbles behind his mask, is helpless to the referee's verdict being directed and ejected from the ring area. Reluctant but obeying the command, Beast and Kabul back their way up the entrance ramp, officially removing another one of Jake's carefully placed pawns from the match. Unable to hide his rather cheeky smile, Levi Storm waves away the two members of the Templar before the revelations inside the actual ring itself become so apparent. Watching Jake stumble up to his feet after crushing the face of his mentor with a Hesitation Dropkick, Storm knows that the time to make his presence felt would be now.
Sliding into the ring and followed by the now entirely in control official, the young Lightning Kid covers his head expecting to fall into the hands of the man known as Pavor Nocturnus. Quickly spurting up to his feet, hands raised for a fight, Storm is surprised at the sights before him; Jake Diamond standing in the ring with his hands held high in place. Holding off Cleavland native, the Second City Savior takes a few steps towards Levi, mouthing a few words for him to back off before stretching his right foot forward. Confused, Storm watches as Jake draws and imaginary line across the ring before the always influential Head Hunter takes a step back and lowering his hand, daring the Ohio raised boy to cross the line. Not one to be fooled by Jake's mind games, Storm takes a step forward but falls directly into Jake's trap or, rather, his fist into his throat. With a quick shuffle step, Jake Diamond rams his right fist firmly into Hayden Hardkore's rookie's throat resulting in a few violent coughs from the relatively unknown opponent. With the broad, ear to ear grin flattened on his face, the former Triumph Champion lays a quick boot into his opponent's mid-section forcing the surprise entrant to double over in a natural reaction. In the same fluent motion Jake grabs onto the Lightning Kid's left arm and throws him to the mat while falling down with him. Tossing the arm behind his head, Jake Diamond reaches over to Storm's face that lies beside him and wraps both of his hands underneath the man's chin applying a crossface maneuver before tearing back, applying the dreaded submission move that's made countless others tap out before him; the Diamond Clutch.
With the previous series of events happening to fast to even grasp what was going on, the impressive cruiserweight was grounded by the vindictive and violently born Diamond. The muscles in the back of his neck were burning, engulfed by the ruthless tension being pressed on them and, to make matters worse, the fact that his own arm was rendered useless and having the angle used against him. Tearing back with all of his might, the cold and calculating machine known to many as Pavor Nocturnus didn't let up for a second knowing entirely well that even if he couldn't make Storm tap out he would render the man's left arm useless and make his adversaries head an inevitable target. Listening intently to the audience, cheering and rooting for him to make the young man tap, Jake Diamond couldn't help but smile through the veil of sweat that covered his brilliant and smirking face; for the first time in what felt like forever Jake was being loved for the heartless and ultra-violent son of a bitch he was.
“We've seen this countless times before! The dreaded Diamond Clutch! Most recently he's made Mighty Man Millson tap out to it when he was under his mask... God, look at his arm!”
“He does know how to make a man suffer... Storm's left arm is practically being torqued right out of his socket while his head is getting pried off! Storm, hold on, you can last it!”
“Men twice his stature couldn't even hold up to it! Levi is done for, Hayden should just count his blessings that his protege has lasted this long!”
“Just a few more seconds Storm, hold on! Even if Jake makes Storm tap out to this he still has to eliminate the champ himself... And he's all out of lifelines! The referee has caught on and his Templar are gone! Jake's time is numbered!”
With one leg still trapped, tethered on the top ropes in the Tree of Woe, Hayden tries to swing free of his position hoping to help out his young friend. Watching the pure agony on the face of Storm and the twisted pleasure visible in that of Jake Diamond, Hayden reaches up and tries to pry his leg free but with every passing second is another moment in time that Storm could easily tap out to the modified crossface. Knowing that Hayden was nearby and not caring, Jake decided to add a bit more to the move, twisting his body around and planting his feet down on the canvas and pushing back, reclining his opponent's head back further and further. The awkward positioning of Storm's arm didn't help the situation as it wedged closer to the side of his already pain ridden face. Praying for some sort of divine intervention, the newcomer lets out a low bellow of pain forcing Jake, through already smiling, gritted teeth, to let out a high tittering laugh, shades of his former masked self. Reaching up with his right hand and closing his eyes, Levi Storm tries not to but is almost helpless, preparing himself to tap out, hoping not to disappoint his ferocious leader. Remaining just an inch above the canvas Jake watched, through big, bright emerald eyes Storm's hand praying for it to tap out against the ring.

The chaotic scene inside the ring emulates the drama that the match had seen so far. Levi Storm, pain strewn through his face and his eyes looking as though they are going to bulge out of his skull, tries to hold on for another moment longer. Jake Diamond, his Diamond Clutch still expertly applied and threatening to render the young Storm armless and headless, grits his teeth as he wills the youngster to tap out. The scene seems to unfold like the climax of an unpredictable movie, as three important events occur in a very timely sequence. Firstly, the Kiwi's prying and tearing at his ankle finally pays off, as Hayden is able to free himself from the one-legged tree of woe. With a soft thud, the New Zealand native lands on his back on the canvas. As he does so, Levi Storm's arm wavers in mid air, threatening to give at any moment. Secondly, upon hearing the thud behind him to signify that Hayden had managed to free himself, Jake Diamond winds up one last time and stretches Storm's arm and neck out even further, at even more awkward of an angle. A small pop is heard, followed by an escalated cry of agony from Storm's mouth. The third event seems to play out in slow motion. With his shoulder having given way, Levi Storm's hand finally follows suit. He aims his palm downward and looks for the canvas, to which he will yield to Diamond's Clutch. As he does so, however, an unseen, yet strangely familiar force grabs him around the wrist and yanks his hand back into the air. The referee, watching the scene, hesitates, unsure whether to count the submission or not. Instead, he bends over the three struggling figures and inquires whether Storm wishes to continue. He is met with a groan of pain from Levi's mouth, and a reply of sorts from the mouth of his mentor. "Of course he's continuing. Did he tap out?"Satisfied at the leader's reply, the referee allows the match to continue. Having saved his protege from an early shower, Hayden continues to pry Storm's body away from the frustrated clutches of Jake Diamond. As he does so, his rival shoots him an evil glare, the type of look that can burn straight through a person's soul, mask or no mask. Hayden simply smiles back at Diamond, before aiming a toe-kick at Jake's head, catching him just above the nose as the Savior rises to his feet. The force of the kick is only enough to throw fuel on the ever-increasing fire within Diamond. He rolls over, clambers to a vertical base and narrows his sights on the interrupting Jackass. ~~Big Al~~ Levi Storm was saved by his trainer. He was in the process of tapping out and Hayden stopped his hand from reaching the canvas!
~~Fuzz Jennings~~ Can he do that? I mean, is that legal?
~~Big Al~~ It appears so, well, I mean he just did. Jake Diamond doesn't look too thrilled about it though. Diamond throws caution to the wind, not caring about taking time to fully check his surroundings. The shroud of anger that had filled him had left his sights targeting one man, the New Age Champion. Hayden is waiting for him as he approaches, strutting across the ring like a rooster across the floor of a hen-house. With his partner still collecting himself on the mat, Hayden is left to deal with the advancing Number One Contender alone. The Jackass winds up his lethal left hand behind his back, like a rubber band being stretched to capacity. He stands in wait for the Head Hunter to step within range, and Diamond does without hesitation. The Kiwi's fist moves as fast as a lightning bolt, Jake's skull its ultimate target. However, Diamond simply brushes the 'Power of the SouthPaw' aside, with a Karate Kid-like parry. As a result, Hayden's fist sails harmlessly past his head, leaving his torso unprotected. Jake smiles a knowing smile to himself as he sees his opportunity. Before the reigning New Age Champion has a chance to react, Diamond had gathered his wily body up into a Double Underhook, hosting him high into the air. With the crowd eager to share their two cents worth as to the popularity of Jake Diamond, he lines up a spot on the canvas, prime for the discarding of a Jackass. Jake drives the Kiwi toward the mat in a Double Underhook Powerbomb, looking to send the Kiwi to dream street for good. However, before the New Zealander manages to come in contact with the canvas, Jake Diamond feels his legs give way from underneath him. With his arm dangling down beside him, as if in a sling, Levi Storm had taken it upon himself to drop the rampaging Jake Diamond with a well placed Dropkick to the back on his knees. Jake topples to the ground, aborting the evilly intended Powerbomb in the process. Hayden's body simply falls on top of Diamonds as the pair collapse in a tangled heap of limbs and bodies. ~~Big Al~~ Now it's Levi Storm's turn to save his mentor's butt. What goes around comes around, I suppose.
~~Fuzz Jennings~~ Jake Diamond still looks like he is on top of his competition here, but the numbers game is simply making it too difficult for GHW's "Savior" to take advantage of his hard work.
~~Big Al~~ Diamond needs to get one of these two out, and quick. If he can do that, then it is game on. Until then, I would have to say that two is simply better than one. Storm is quick to assist his partner to his feet, before the pair decide to turn their attention to ridding themselves of Jake Diamond. As Diamond drags himself off the mat, under his own strength, the teacher and pupil team of HardKore and Storm are patiently waiting. Storm grabs Diamond by the wrist, flinging him into the ropes. As he does so, both him and Hayden HardKore dash toward opposite ropes, each perpendicular to where they had directed Diamond to travel. When the three men rebound off the ropes simultaneously, two of them under their own control, the plan becomes abundantly clear. The trio meet in the center of the ring, each moving at breakneck speed. Like a game of chicken gone horribly, horribly wrong, the men collide in the center of the ring. Hayden ducks down low, drilling his shoulders into the knee-caps of his nemesis. Jake Diamond is flung into the air, and begins to flip head over heels as a result. However, not more than a split second after Hayden's Shoulder Tackle to the kneecaps, Diamond is hit from the opposite direction. Levi Storm had leaped into the air, avoiding the flattened body of his partner on his course to the mid-section of the Savior. In an impact as bone-crushing as can be imagined, Storm unleashes a mid-air Spear tackle that catches Diamond both side on and unaware. Around the arena, a collective gasp is taken in upon the impact of the destructive Double Team Maneuver, and not released until Diamond's body had crashed into the canvas, rolled over itself three or four times and come to a halt almost directly underneath the corner turnbuckle. ~~Fuzz Jennings~~ Again, beautiful teamwork by the pairing of Hayden HardKore and Levi Storm. Hayden aimed low at the knee caps, flipping Diamond directly into the path of the Storm, where he is promptly destroyed by "The Bolt"
~~Big Al~~ That takes the wind out of you at the best of times, but when it is hit in tandem like that, well, Jake Diamond might be flat out cold.
~~Fuzz Jennings~~ It looked like a really bad football hit, or a trainwreck. Sometimes they looks quite similar. I think that's going to be on my highlight reel for some time! As the replays pour in over the Titan Tron, showing the devastating move from any number of different angles, the two men still functioning in the match manage to find their feet once more. Levi Storm, with his injured shoulder now even more so, looks as pale-faced as if he had just seen a ghost. His arm hangs limply by his side, while the youngster turns to face the veteran Kiwi. Hayden, in turn, simply smiles though the pain. Ever so slowly, the pair work together to drag Jake Diamond out of the corner. When he is in the center of the ring, Hayden nods at his partner. HardKore is first to move, dropping down and hooking Diamond's leg into a pin. Storm follows him, planting his 200lb frame on top of Hayden's for extra pressure. Now with 389lbs to contend with, Jake Diamond's days appear numbered. once more, the referee slides into position, his palm striking the canvas in counting the all important pin fall. "One...".......
