The feeds opens up to the parking lot where the camera is focused on an ambulance from the local hospital. The vehicle reverses a few more feet, getting closer and closer to the viewers before it suddenly comes to a halt. The tires stop turning, the lights turn off, the arena just staring at the meatwagon with a confused fascination, the scene in itself creating an eerie aura. The mounted anticipation and curiosity of the GHW audience is gouged by the opening doors. Seated with his legs folded is the Lord of the Flies, his head leaning forward, his blond hair carelessly hanging over his face, his miracle working hands rested in his lap. The King of Deathmatches begins to speak in his characteristically maniacal, grim tone.
"The only guarantee in life is death. The minute we give birth to something the countdown to it's imminent demise commences. Glory and Honor Wrestling emerged from the womb of the wrestling industry in early 2006. You cretins and mongoloids have watched it prosper, and grow from a poor man's dream, to an expansion federation, a cult phenomenon, and now the global corporation it is now. One might come to the conclusion that due to GHW's improvement over the years that the clock will continue to tick for a long time, that the amount of sand in the hour glass is still substantial. That's a delusion, and a misconception for with this companies improvement, lies the root of it's downfall."
The Assassin's head snaps back, his hair flying to the back of his head as his cold-blue eyes stare into the camera, an emotionless gaze plastered on his face as he continues his spiel.
"GHW is a corporation, and like all corporations it's only about money. It's about revenue, and establishing a specific brand in order to maximize profits. Ordinarily, when a company is financially solid, there would be no reason to assume it's heading for a fall from grace. But this is different. This isn't just a business, this is wrestling, and when a company makes it no longer about wrestling, it triggers it own detonation. The greed of the corporate badgers has plagued this place. Money is a disease, and GHW has administered a self injection that has gradually plagued it, eating away at its core, slowly causing it to whither away. Vital organs have shut down, parted from the body. From small organs such as Haven Cassady, and Jade Brooklyn, to the most important ones like James Daniels, and Robert Browne. The aforementioned former employees of GHW didn't quite fit the product the board of directors was trying to create. They were no longer viewed as important cogs in the machine. They were expendable. When GHW fires its employees, they send you an email, you get "future endeavored" which is half-hearted to say the least because they could care less about your future, and don't wish you the best, nor do they hope that you prosper. And for those who weren't given the pinkslip and slapped in the face by a company that they shed blood, sweat and tears for, they were forced to quit, because they'd rather keep their pride and self-esteem in tact then be spit in the face."
"Smarky Smark sold his soul for an extra dollar. The degenerate who once managed Ryan Hughes dropped his former client, and unclenched his cheeks for a pay raise. He's proof that if you lick the tootsie pop long enough, you'll reach the chocolaty center. And he is rewarded a General Manager position for his unwavering loyalty, or ass kissing, whichever synonym you prefer. And under his supervision, nothing but controversy, with questionable managerial decisions on top of ill-advised choices. And the result, he's garnered the disdain and hatred of the entire labor force. All but Hayden Hardkore, the symbol, and ido forl the children to worship, the most important piece of the GHW conspiracy, and the main reason why this company is going to die.
The Assassin climbs out of the ambulance, his hand passing along the doors as he stares back inside.
"Hayden Hardkore is well on his way to becoming the longest reigning New Age Champion. Throw in the action figures, the collector cups with his Wellington mug plastered on them, the Jackasses cereal brand, the posters, the movies, the glitz the glamour, and you could consider Hayden as the top draw. And he is. Not because more talented than his competition, or that he's a better Fighty fighty person, it's because he's a better ass kisser than everyone else. That's why Hayden Hardkore is a fan-favorite. He gave up creative control, and signed his career over to the ring leaders of this circus in order to make more money and remain relevant. That's why he holds all the championships. That's why he's beloved in every household. The conspiracy is that Hayden Hardkore has been made the focus of Glory and Honor Wrestling, and the men and women at the top of the managerial hierarchy will and have stopped at nothing to keep it that way."
"It's why they created two shows, in order to keep Hayden Hardkore as far away from me as possible. It's why I've had to wait almost a year to get my fair opportunity for the New Age Championship. And it's why instead of me facing Hayden one on one, mono-e-mono at Full Circle, Nicholas Carson was added to the mix. The only reason he was allowed to "get over" on Hayden was so he can negate me in aTriple Threat match at the grandest stage of them all. A man with no wrestling ability whatsoever, who's only claim to fame is being hung by me, beaten into exile by Kamil Fathi, and destroyed on multiple occasions by Vladimir Strife, and who's only reason for recieving a paycheck is because he can swing a steel chair, will be headlining this companies biggest pay-per-view. How does that make them money? Well that's simple. It's Brainiac, and Bizarro vs Superman. The two villains will be preoccupied with their personal feud and desire to not see the other succeed that the hero will steal the victory and emerge victorious. Insert cashflow here...
Santiago slams the doors shut, shaking his head in anger and frustration.
"When money is the most important thing to you, you lose sight of what's important. GHW has lost that sight, they are blind, and the impaired pedestrian is the one to walk into the incoming traffic and get run over by the speeding vehicles. They want me to play their game, bend over, and become a pawn like everyone else but I have refused to conform. I'm not playing by their rules, I'm not following their regulations. I'm not bound by their standards. At Full Circle, I'm going to send this company to the morgue, because the hero will fall. For once the Disney version of the story is not being conveyed, instead the Grimm Brother's version will be told. And at the end of this novel is pain and suffering."
"I'm going to win the New Age Championship for a third time. I'm going to plunge the knife into this companies heart, and end the conspiracy. And when the chaos unfolds, and the inmates run the asylum, I'm going to rebuild this establishment as I see fit, where Legion is the centerpiece."
"I am the voice of reason, and of the silenced, and I control the future..."
