As Tuesday Night Triumph reaches a commercial break, a slightly different advert plays instead of the typical fast food and beer commercials the viewers are usually subjected to. An unfamiliar piece of music plays as the scene opens to two young boys, no more than nine years old, watching their television set in awe of whatever is on their screen. As the camera switches to show the TV from the front, we see that the boys were watching wrestling- more specifically, Glory and Honor Wrestling. This seems to be archived footage from the past though, as we see the likes of Dave Carter, Matthew Oliveira and Vladimir Strife leaving a whole lot of hurt on their opponents. As the television screen engulfs our screens, soundbites begin to play over the footage.
"He's done it on his first night! Matthew Oliveira is the king of NeXuS!"
A bleeding Hardcore Genius with his hand being raised as he looks to the sky in triumph, outlasting many scores of men on that spring night of 2007. He stares forward and mouths "I Know I'm Right".
"Dyna Mike Duncan and his Bulldogs are quite possibly the most unstoppable force GHW has ever seen."
DMD leads from the front with his smug grin and his British flag, as his Bulldogs stand tall alongside him in one of the biggest stables of all time.
"Can anybody defeat Vladimir Strife?"
Shot after shot of Strife laying out an unfortunate opponent play one after the other, before it settles on Vladimir holding the GHW World Championship aloft over the man he defeated in that gory Mancunian Street Fight, Ryan Hughes.
"Martin Prince has done it! He's defeated the X Forces!"
A shot now of the blonde haired former General Manager of GHW, and the man that rid our company of Xantaxm and his X Forces at Gods vs. Heretics in 2009.
The camera returns to the kids who are watching, wide eyed in awe at the actions of their heroes. At that point, a voiceover plays alongside the music, in a gentle, yet telling tone.
"These men are heroes. These men are icons. These men are members of the GHW Hall of Fame. But the question is: who will join them?"
At that point, the screen cuts to black, and the music stops. It's only for a second though, as the information about this years big event are plastered on to the screen while David Bowie's "Heroes" plays.
