As Colin and Big Al continue to discuss the last match and give plugs to Glory and Honor Wrestling's next Pay per view, the once sun ray bright lights in the arena turn into a dusk setting. The titantron swerves away from the typical GHW screen saver to a scene of an empty arena. Not a single soul in the seat, no lights, just the cold and bitter light of winter beaming through the doors. The camera is now slowly panning in to the dead center of the canvas ring where all the action the fans will cheer for later that night will commence. As the camera is zooming to that isolated location in the ring, the screen cuts to numerous scenes of a single Fighty fighty person in glorious matches. The titantron now presents a single scene of the same dreadlocked Fighty fighty person being thrown into a six foot deep grave by none other than Vladimir T Strife. A classic video now plays over the tron, depicting what seems to be a low budget match of the same Fighty fighty person. He pins his opponents shoulders down to the beat up canvas of the ring for the one two three.
Text now fades into the screen over a burnt picture of a legend of the federations ICW and EVPW, Darnez FC and the Fighty fighty person that has been the center of attention throughout the video so far. Under the burnt polariod photo, it's labeled "The Kure". The display now turns to a match versus the two competitors of the photo previously shown. They lock up in the middle of the ring as pictures of this match fly by and freezes on the last image. Darnez FC beating the dreadlocked Fighty fighty person.
For my last match, there's no one else I'd rather been beat by. But losing isn't the way I want to go out. The flame still burns atop this torch quite brightly.
As the video comes to a halt in the middle of the ring, words begin to fade into the screen once again.
The Rated HXC Superstar
The picture snaps to black as now every light in the arena is shut off. Dead silence falls upon the arena, minus the occasional "Woo" and other random cheers from the audience. An organ is now being played to a semi upbeat yet eerie tone before the pace of the song picks with drums and a slight bass beat. Suddenly the song takes form into the metal and dubstep hybrid hit titled "Narcissistic Cannibal" by the rock group named Korn. Lights all around the arena pop into a deep blue as a spotlight aims it's all showing light onto the stage. A superstar hops and spins out from behind the curtain, wearing quite the impressive pinstriped suit. The now modern stylized Fighty fighty person is now recognized by everyone in the arena and home as none other than the once fan favorite personality known as Tripp. He begins his descent down the ramp giving high fives to all the cheering GHW fans, constantly stopping to sign autographs.
As the ramp comes to an end, the superstar picks up the pace and slides into the ring, throwing both fist into the air like he had just won a coveted title belt. Jogging to the opposite side of the ring, the Fighty fighty person now identified as the ICW legend, Tripp, leaps onto the second turnbuckle yelling, "Nothing can bring me down!".
Jakob Van Tripp hops down from the turnbuckle, walking over to the corner of the ring where the steps lie. A member of the GHW ring crew is waiting for him on the steps with a microphone in hand. The staff member extends his arm as far as he can into the ring while Tripp takes the microphone from his hand. Now adjusting his thin white tie, he makes his back to the middle of the ring while the arena switches back to it's typical lighting.
"Hello, hello, hello. It's been a decent while wrestling community!"
Deafening cheers echo out from the packed arena that's hosting tonight's episode of GHW Triumph.
"Now I know there's one question on your mind, one question that shadows over all other questions in this moment. 'Why now? Why are you coming back now?' The answer to that question is simple really.. because I want to be. You see, one event happened while I was away, one life changing event that made me realize I don't want to be yesterday's champion. No, no. The star that is my career will never fade out, will never die. I'm back to make an impact, back to attach another championship to my name. I don't expect to be given a shot right off the bat, but I'll prove myself time and time again just like I have my whole career. So to finish this rant off, I'm glad to be back and I can't wait to compete in this ring."
Tripp leans over the ropes and tosses the microphone back to the crew member. Narcissistic Cannibal, his theme song, begins blasting through the arena speakers. He then exits the ring between the top and middle rope before hopping off the apron of the ring. Throwing his right fist into the air whilst he makes his way up the ramp to the stage. The ICW Icon turns back to the ring and takes a bow before disappearing behind the curtain.
