For the second consecutive week in the H-Games series Kahlan is inside the ring whilst there is no opponent brave enough to even show up and get beat by the ALL MIGHTY, STRIFE SLAYING phenomena.

A few minutes pass as the audience begin to display signs of boredom, the glamorous Brit stalks about the ring. It seems that another week will pass without an opponent challenging the self proclaimed Strife Slayer. A generic theme song plays over the announce system drawing the audience's eyes toward the entrance ramp. The curtains part as a returning Sam Keane steps out onto the entrance ramp for the first time in what seems like forever. He makes his way down to the ring with minimal fuss and awaits the referee's call to start the match.

Baffled by the arrival of Sam Keane out of absolutely-nowhere, Kahlan turns for a microphone. Snatching it out of the ring attendant’s hand, she swings about to address her surprise opponent.
“This match is now going to be a … um… let me think… oh yea, a no disqualification match!”
Kahlan drops the Mic with abruptness and charges forth towards her unsuspecting adversary. At least that is what she must have believed to be true about Sam because it turns out he is completely ready for it. Kahlan gets thrown down with the help of her own momentum having her arm trapped and used as the means of an impact arm-drag. She snaps back up wincing and holding her lower back but walks right into Sam’s awaiting arms. Her waist is wrapt and she is lifted only to be brought down, her legs either side of Sam’s protruding right knee. The shock of the Atomic drop rattles the Ladder Queen’s entire bone structure only for the skeleton to get flattened with the rest of her body, when Sam sprung back from the furthest set of ropes.
Sam performs an apparent taunt after delivering the Lariat by slapping his own chest a couple of times, already fired up. His eyes set once again on his opponent who struggles to stand. However, once she does finally make it to her feet, he strikes, and he strikes with venom. The first of the many chops land with a resounding “WOOOO” follow up, tearing into Kahlan’s upper chest. Having managed to drive Kay into the corner, Sam takes a moment to take a few steps back. He explodes ahead leaping to smash his feet straight into his opponent as true as an arrow shot. He connects with the drop-kick into the corner and rolls over on to his feet. His opponent is finally brought down for good, with no haste in her struggles to indicate that she would make it to her feet any time soon.
Al: Where the hell did that guy come from? Sam Keane has not been seen in a GHW ring in almost a year. Colin: And look where he is headed now, the top rope! Oh, this is great! Al: Kahlan rolls out of the ring, great awareness shown by the veteran Kahlan to avoid whatever it was that Sam Keane was trying to do to her.
Kahlan groggy somewhat from the relentless onslaught she was put through shakes her head clean of the cobwebs by leaning over the security barrier. She brings her head up looking straight into the eyes of a middle aged fan holding a big cup of Pepsi. She snatches the extra-large cup out of the surprised man’s hands and revolves around just as Sam was climbing down from his elevated position. She throws the fizzy contents into his face, blinding him momentarily so as to deliver a vicious round hose kick with her left foot into Sam’s right kidney. The blast drops the former “underdog” solidly onto the tiled concrete of the outside. Kahlan concludes her blitz to gain momentum via a running kick into the skull of her laid out antagonist. She instantly averts her attention towards the crowd just to the side behind the barriers and throws her fists up high into the air.
Sam is helped up half-way by Kahlan, when he pulls back to drop a side by side downward chop with his both hands on either side of K’s neck. He straightens up to grab a fistful of the famous blue follicles at the back of his opponent’s head and slams it into the aproned section of the ring. He proceeds to further nail in his advantage through again a series of chops across the chest, driving Kahlan to the steel railings where the fans are held behind. Just as he was going for a huge Clothesline his crafty former Legion partner ducks down. The dynamism of the almost succeeded blow takes Sam halfway over the barrier, draped on the narrow edge of the steel. His opponent turns and grasps tightly at the presented opportunity by helping Sam the rest of the way over the top by going low to lift up his legs.
Colin: Oh no. There goes Sam Keane over into the crowd, and look at the fans over there they’re overtly enjoying this sudden surprise chance to get this close to a GHW superstar. Al: What is Kahlan doing under the apron, UH-OH the Ladder Queen is bringing out the ladder and this can’t be a good sign.
Indeed Kahlan appears dragging the end of a ladder out from underneath the ring, she pulls it out and laboriously goes about her business making a bridge between the security railings and the adjacent squared-circle. She climbs the strategically placed ladder and is about to make her way to the spot where Sam was last seen when Keane pops up pushing away at the end of the 15 foot of steel atop the railings. It drops down and so does Kahlan, who falls towards where she was facing, her head bumping on top of the steel railings. Sam slips over onto the ring side grabs at Kahlan bringing her up, only to send her on her way towards the set of steel steps as he stalks her fleeing strides. It appears that the former Legion member knows his former ally very well, far better than is healthy for Kahlan in fact, for when she hops onto the second step to jump back at Sam, he is suddenly there behind her feet leading the way. His flying drop kick spear into K’s back, throwing her over sprawled out on the outside.
Keane gets back up and heads for the Ladder which Kahlan had brought into the mix. He methodically sets it up outside of the Square and turns to Kahlan who is fighting her way up a new section of crowd barriers. Marching over to his bruised opponent, he graciously aids her up the rest of the way, but only because he intends to send her on her way towards the erected steel structure. Kahlan reads his mind and is able to reverse the Irish-whip with a revolution of her own dexterous physique. Therefore, it is Sam’s head and in its wake the rest of his frontal figure, which is introduced to the cold, cruel reality which is the ladder. He tries to get a feel of his wits back but is too soon prevented via the stiff elbow shot in the crook of his head.
Colin: I bet this wasn’t what Sam Keane had planned before he crashed into the H-games series, even though he must’ve known the brutality one is to expect from the most brutal month in GHW’s calendar year. I know if I were him, I would take a Deathmatch experience rather than to suddenly find myself facing the Dragon spirited Ladder Queen when she has a ladder at her disposal. Al: I know for a fact though that I wasn’t expecting a match like this tonight either. Where the hell did all of this come from so suddenly? Sam Keane? Kahlan’s opponent showing up? Ladders?
Kahlan goes for Sam’s waistline, coiling her arms around it yet she is disappointed when Sam twists around out of it, instead leaving her in the reverse-waist-lock. Kahlan retaliates with elbow shots at the hidden head at her rear, breaking free of the hold. As soon as she is liberated the daredevil being inside of her wakes up guiding her on her way to climb the rungs in front. She only manages to climb up halfway before Sam catches up with her right on her heels. He tries to rip her away but is met with vigorous resistance in the form of a kick in the gob. This allows Kahlan to turn facing Sam. She jumps at him but is caught around the middle and abused as a ramp as her former stable mate drives her spine into the side of the ring. As Sam rolls her into the ring, he is greeted with a fan request which stops him dead still in his act of climbing after Kahlan. “We want tables” rings around the arena like wildfire. The chant is so all consuming from an audience griped with fever of a brilliant match up that it leaves Keane powerless to resist it. His grin towards the crowd only helps to spur them on. He throws the apron up and ever so slowly drags out a wooden table to the absolute delight of the fans. The roof on top of the Boston arena goes off.
From her spot down on the canvas Kahlan eyes Sam sliding the wooden rectangle inside as he follows it behind. He is completely unaware of the ruse Kahlan is playing on him as she is laid down unmoving. Consequently, he feels obliged to take his time to set the table up in the middle of the ring by pulling its legs out. As soon as he turns away from his completed task Kahlan springs up to blind side him. Remarkably Sam is found out to be fully alert as he jumps out of the way, leaving Kahlan to run into the edge of the table with her midriff. Sam returns to the sight of impact and helps Kahlan the rest of the way up, laying her flat on top of the table. Happy with the arrangement he glides away to slip out through the ropes and begin climbing turnbuckles. Just as he reaches the top, Kahlan rolls over off the table. In successive response Sam hops down from the top in pursuit of his opponent.
Al: Kahlan had that well scouted; she knew what was coming her way and had enough sense left in her to avoid it. It was a very smart play by the former Tag team and Television Champion. Colin: These two know each other so well, it is almost impossible to catch one off-guard. They always seem to know exactly what their opponent is thinking; it’s intriguing to find out how this match would pan out.
While trying to keep the distance between herself and her predatory pursuer, Kahlan eventually manages to surprise Sam as she doubles back kicking her adversary in his lower abdomen. Caching him in a front face-lock around the head as he was doubled forward, Kahlan swings around turning Sam over so she can drop down snapping the neck at her disposal with a sudden swinging neck-breaker. She sits up with crazy eyes decorating her expression. Without sparing a single glance towards her opponent even, she slips through to the outside and once again goes on in search underneath the ring. She comes out this time with a weapon that instantly relives the memory of Total Carnage in the minds of every single one of the fans in attendance at the Boston arena tonight. With the thunder of excitement radiating from the crowd at her back and a Kendo-stick in her grasp, the Special One slithers back into the confined-square. She strides onward approaching Sam…
Al: Holy shit a double A Spine-buster right through the table out of absolutely no-freaking-where! Where the hell did that come from?! Colin: Sam Keane just took Kahlan and may I be so bold to state, the entire H-games napping! This match should be over by all rights! Al: Here comes the pin, one! Two! Three! Colin: Kahlan kicks out! Incredible! Al: The pace of this match from the beginning has been non-stop, going back and forth between these two awesome competitors but I cannot believe Kahlan mustered enough energy to manage to kick out after what we just witnessed. Colin: Neither can Same Keane, here he is going for a second attempt. One! Two! Thre- Again Kahlan kicks out! Look at Sam, he must be thinking, “What the hell do I need to do to put Kahlan away?”

The fallout from the sadistic spine buster is evident for all to see, shards of wooden shrapnel litter the ring as keane clambers to his feet. Sam's face is the epitome of frustration, the figurative cogs can almost be seen as he eyes the ladder that his opponent is infamous for. In a move that could be seen as an example of his inexperience, he allows himself a moment to play to the audience pointing at the ladder attempting to feed off the electric energy emanating from the sold out crowd. They respond to his showmanship cheering and chanting the man's name reminding him of what it means to be a GHW superstar. The glamorous Brit takes the opportunity to rest up and gather her bearings as the underdog grabs the ladder. It takes the lion a few moments to adjust the ladder, once the steel accessory is vertical it casts a foreboding shadow across the ring.
The high flying cruiserweight quickly ascends the ladder with a maniacal look painted over his mug. His next course of action is evident to everyone in attendance and those watching at home. SK has decided to use what brought him to the dance despite the daunting risk that comes with the death defying manoeuvres. Keane throws himself from the top of the ladder immediately, his frame sores through the air almost spitting in the face of physics. Gravity finally catches up with the youngster and drags him towards the canvas where his opponent is still attempting to recover from the devastating spine buster. Many of the audience find themselves holding their breath, partially in awe of the spectacular manoeuvre they are witnessing but also worried for his health. The New York native crashes onto the canvas just a few seconds later despite being in the air for what seemed like an eternity. Little K had taken full advantage of all the time she was allowed by her former tag partner, recovering as best she could before rolling out of the way and avoiding the point of impact.
AL" Keane just crashed and burned, I wouldn't be surprised if Kahlan takes the win right here. This isn't going to be the triumphant return Sam was hoping for when he stepped into the arena tonight." Colin" Well you can't just expect to waltz out here after a year out and defeat a GHW superstar, never mind the ladder queen." Kahlan surveys the wreckage as Sam rolls around the ring clutching the small of his back as the pain ravages his frame. A few agony filled screams escape his lips, he grinds his teeth together attempting to push the pain to the back of his mind and allow himself the slimmest chance of salvaging something from this contest. Of course his opponent has other plans in mind as she drags his limp frame to his feet. The vicious vixen shows surprising strength as she tosses the New Yorker around the ring with relative ease. His already injured back slams against the unforgiving turnbuckle, instinctively his hands wrap around the ropes allowing him to stay on his feet. Kahlan goes on the offensive unleashing a brutal barrage of rights and lefts, slamming her balled up fists into the chest of the former television champion. Blow after blow hits its mark stopping the highflier from taking in any sort of significant oxygen. The British babe firmly seizes control of the tie driving her knee into the abdomen of her opponent, causing him to double over and almost collapse onto the canvas once more.
The self proclaimed Strife slayer is literally the only thing stopping Keane from eating the mat. The crowd have been swaying back and forth this whole contest, cheering on whichever superstar happens to be in the driving seat and now it appears it is little k's opportunity to feed of their energy and funnel it into a victory. She places the palm of her left hand against the American's chin and pushes his head backwards telegraphing her next move in order to ensure the fan's play their part. Her right hand hovers in the air for a moment before she slams it against his chest. The place where her hand hit reddens immediately as the crowd unleash a unanimous "whooooo" showing their appreciation for her attempts to appease them. The wicked shot is followed up almost immediately by a series of chops as she refuses to take her foot off the gas.
Al" Kahlan is displaying the sort of ruthless aggression that's sure to see her pick up a championship in the near future. Millison and the rest of the boys in the back better be taking notes, she means business."
Colin" You know, I have to agree if she keeps this up I can't see Keane getting back into this, that crazed look in her eyes tells me she has no intention of relenting anytime soon."
Al"Keane finds himself in the unenviable position of being on the back foot whilst trying to deal with months of ring rust in a no disqualification match. He should have stayed away because clearly he isn't prepared for what GHW has to offer."
Just as all hope seems to be gone Sam flails his arm forward and manages to catch the self styled Strife slayer in the eye. The desperate manoeuvre pays dividends as it allows him to put some distance between the two of them as the British Diva clasps her eye. Realising that this may be his only chance in this match Keane throws himself off the ropes and somehow manages to generate enough energy to send his frame flying through the air, planting his boot under Little K's chin. The spinning wheel kick is enough to knock Kahlan off her feet and crashing to the canvas. Somehow Sam leaps back up to his feet, displaying a new found energy and believe that he could still snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. SK looks up to the heavens for inspiration, there's no sign of divine intervention instead all that he finds is the blistering heat emanating from the spotlights above the ring.
Kahlan attempts to clamber to her feet, still reeling from the shot she took to her jaw but determined not to let the kick derail her plans. Sam closes the gap just as she makes it to a vertical basis, both competitors standing toe to toe in the middle of the ring. An aura of mutual respect hangs in the air as both of them realise that neither intend on leaving this arena with a loss tonight. The young lion feigns a sizzling left footed kick before spinning right and catching her wrist and transitioning into a version of the hammer lock. The highflying cruiserweight forces himself onto his toes in order to maximise the torque that the hold generates. The veteran instincts of the Brit tells her that her opponent is off balance, so despite the pain that is surging through her shoulder she throws her weight backwards causing keane to stumble towards the ring ropes. The new Yorker is unable to halt his momentum and soon finds his back bouncing off the ropes causing him to release the hold. Sam shoves his hands into K's back and puts a little bit of distance between the two competitors preparing his next move by squatting down. Once the tenacious strife slayer turns to face her surprise opponent she narrowly avoids a high kick that flashes past her head. Sam's momentum causes him to spin full circle where Kahlan is waiting for him, in what proves to be a case of turnabout is fair play she fires a low sweep kick at him. Displaying the nimbleness of foot that he is known for, Keane manages to hop over the oncoming leg like a child playing jump rope.
Al" What we are seeing is the familiarity of the two competitors with each other, which of course is part and parcel of being former stable mates. "
Colin" It's like they are able to predict each other's moves and motives, leading to neither of them gaining the upper hand"
Al" Well yes Colin, that's exactly what I was just saying but what it also means is that we are being treated to a highly entertaining match up and one that is entirely a surprise given we had no idea that Keane was even going to be here."
A sly smirk creeps across the American's lips as he eyes down his opponent, the two of them had taken everything the other had to throw at them and seemingly wanted more. There was no doubt that the crowd where getting their money's worth as the two former stable mates lock horns in the middle of the ring. Usually Keane would have the advantage in a straight up test of strength but the two of them have been through hell and back tonight, neither of them seem to have much left in the tank. Sam attempts to push little K back and assert his dominance on the bout but is met by a combination of dogged tenacity and an unrelenting desire to win as K drives her heel into the canvas and stubbornly refuses to move. The two undersized gladiators jostle for position attempting to gain the upper hand, neither managing to do so. Just as it seems that this bout could boil down to a draw Kahlan takes the initiative breaking away from the collar and elbow tie up delivering a devastating forearm to her American nemeses jaw. The blow staggers the cruiserweight, sending him back a few steps, like a shark sensing blood in the water the ladder queen presses forward.
The balance of the match tilts dramatically as Kahlan throws caution out the window and charges towards the American determined to end the bout here and now. Perhaps through inspiration or sheer desperation Samual manages to throw his boot into the air and meet the onrushing beauty with a super kick. The sight of the impact and both competitors dropping to the canvas sends the audience into a frenzy. No one in the arena can be sure how this bout is going to end with Little K suffering the effects of the lights out and the perennial underdog seemingly suffering from exhaustion leaving him unable to capitalise on his advantageous position. The one thing they can be sure of is that they have gotten their money's worth from both competitors.
