~~~Continued from the match.~~~
With his one good hand, Hayden aims three decent strikes to the head of Jack Tracks, causing the youngster to relinquish his hold ever so slightly. This is enough for the Kiwi to wriggle out from. Hayden soon scrambles to his feet, clutching at his injured fist. With his patented "Power of the South-Paw" off the cards, the veteran seeks an alternative way of winding the match up. When Tracks rights himself, he finds a Kiwi charging at him. Hayden leaps at his waiting opponent, who tosses him aside more out of shock than anything.
However, the wily veteran lands squarely on his feet and is soon throwing himself at Tracks once more. At full speed, Hayden wraps himself around the body of his opponent, swinging his body up into a Headscissors that locks Tracks in place. As he rotates his body around Jack's, he throws the rookie sensation off balance. The pair topple to the ground, Hayden transitioning the Headscissor Takedown into a Single Armed DDT. The Kiwi plants his young opponent head first into the mat, all the while flowing from one move into the next. A Fujiwara Armbar is locked in on Jack to seal the deal. Hayden has his opponent dazed, battered and in the midst of a shoulder-wrenching submission. A further twist of the arm soon sees Jack Tracks tapping out and the Kiwi recording his first victory since returning to action.
"The winner of this match - Hayden HardKore!"
"There it is, take your eyes off him for one moment and the Kiwi strikes like a hawk. Hayden Hardkore, back in the winners circle and showing that the old dog still has some tricks."
"This has got to lead onwards and upwards for the Kiwi. Let's hope that he doesn't stumble at the next hurdle. For tonight, he did just enough... But that injured hand of his may prove to be a big problem. The old man's body just can't seem to hack it any longer."
"You didn't see him giving up. he weathered the storm, lasted through the pain and came out the other side smelling of roses. The result speaks for itself. A BIG tick in the "W" column for the Jackass tonight.
A triumphant Jackass returns to his feet to have his arm raised, much to the delight of the crowd. The Kiwi beams a trademark smile as he waves out at the masses of fans that adorn themselves as "Jackasses". After the celebration dies down, Hayden turns his attention back to the man in the ring that he had just bested. By now, Jack Tracks was kneeling, clutching at his shoulder and looking rather sheepish. It takes the man bu surprise when Hayden extends a hand forward, looking for the rookie to shake.
Jack Tracks looks hesitantly at the hand of the Kiwi Legend. Sizing Hayden up to see if there is any hidden agenda attached with the goodwill gesture, the rookie takes the time to decide whether he will shake the Kiwi's hand or not.
