Welcome to GHW, live as always from Boston, Massachusetts. Tonight, we see the fallout from Red, White and Bruised as our two new champions face off against one another in our main event.
I am pumped for that match, but we also have a DFA qualifier tonight and some matches that promise to be very athletic indeed.
The Fuzz and Big Al are quickly silenced as GHW begins with an unfamiliar theme blaring from the PA system, the crowd anxiously awaiting the owner of the musical score. The mystery is revealed, as the GHW Television and Tag Team champion steps into view from behind the curtain, boos immediately resonating from the partisan Boston crowd. A cocky smile enveloping his lips, Millson merely walks down the entrance ramp, Television title around his waist, Tag title draped over his shoulder. Millson ignores the front row fans who try to touch him and as soon as he reaches the squared circle, the Ultimate Ego hops onto the apron and steps inside the confines of the ring ropes, waltzing into the centre of the ring and grabbing Charlie Coors's microphone for his own use. Millson places his Tag Team title belt on the ring canvas and unbuckles his Television title, placing the larger title on the floor also. Triple M then looks up and raises the microphone to his lips, addressing the fans and a certain infamous superstar.
My name is Mighty Man Millson and I am not only the GHW Television champion, but also one half of the GHW Tag Team champions. I haven't lost a one-on-one match in months and yet I have sat back and watched as people have come out here and staked a claim to the GHW championship. Quite honestly, I've loved watching these people fail. And until Red, White and Bruised, I was quite content to challenge Dominik Santiago for the title when I thought it was the right time to do so. However, 4 nights ago, Dominik Santiago lost the title to the returning Psycho King, Jaggeroth. And Dominik took such a beating that after the match, he announced his retirement from professional wrestling. So I rethought my original thinking. You see, with Santiago gone from Glory and Honour Wrestling, Jaggeroth will need a new challenger for the GHW title and so far there has been nobody backstage who is willing to step in the ring with him. Everybody is scared as to what will happen to them if they do step up and challenge a man as demented as Jaggeroth.
Millson takes a deep breath, mentally preparing himself for his next words, all the planning and thought he's put into this promo now leaving his clouded brain, instinct and passion now taking over his vocal chords. Millson continues.
But I am willing to face you. I have never been the GHW champion and if I don't take this opportunity, I may never be champion in my entire life. For the first time in my career, I have the opportunity to challenge a champion who is on the same level as myself. Because the one difference between me and the rest of the locker room when it comes to the Psycho King is obvious. He was my trainer. He taught me the dark and devious ways to become a champion in this industry, he taught me grit and determination in ways that nobody else could. But he taught me too well. Because now, I am the one person that is not scared of Jaggeroth. I know his mentality better than anyone on the roster and that makes me the perfect candidate to defeat Jaggeroth and become the champion of this entire company.
The crowd give a mixed reaction, some believing the words of the Daddy's Boy, others wanting Triple M to fail in this endeavour and come up short in his dreams of becoming the GHW champion. Millson carries on pattering regardless.
The next GHW PPV is Full Circle, which I believe is ironic and symbolic of our relationship as teacher and student. Because all of your teachings have made me who I am today and they have brought me into your path once again as you sit upon your throne at the top of this company. Jaggeroth, my teacher, my friend, I would like to ask you to come down to this ring and give me an answer to this question. Will you defend your GHW championship against me at Full Circle? Yes or no?
Millson lowers the microphone and the crowd immediately crane their necks towards the entrance ramp, awaiting their new champion and his response.
