Ringside officials ring the bell to call for the bout's humble beginning. Joshua Vandiver, who has stepped foot in the ring with Millson on prior dates and is familiar with the extent of his abilities, steps forward to offer a handshake. Mighty Man, who respects his fellow competitor enough, although considers him to be of lesser skill then himself, accepts hesitantly. The GHW Faithful don't particularly like either competitor, but of the two, they prefer Vandiver to the sickly villain known as Triple M. Renowned for his technical prowess, Millson makes repeated attempts to engage in a collar and elbow tie-up, which he could then turn into an advantageous overtaking. However, the agile Vandiver continues to dodge out of these attempts, trying to stay distanced enough to stay out of reach but close enough to make occasional strikes. This strategy only holds up for so long, as Joshua soon finds himself backed into a corner. Realizing his opponent as nowhere to go, the all-rounded Mighty Man switches to brawling tactics and swings a quick fist across the face, the knuckles having consequential impact on the jaw of Vandiver. Millson grins sadistically, while Joshua rubs the palm of his hand on the jaw, a smirk of his own forming.
"That's cute, Millson, that's real cute."
Mighty Man Millson's grin slowly fades away to make room for the face of a man wronged. Feeling disrespected, Millson shoves Joshua into the corner, enraged, demanding to be apologized to. Vandiver assures him it won't happen, and Mighty Man takes a few steps back, trying to calm himself down and focus at the task at hand rather than petty trash talk. Going back on the offensive, Triple M turns back to his foe and runs to the corner with a clothesline. Believing he can outsmart the GHW Champion, the former King of the Deathmatch swings his legs over the second rope and intertwines himself with the ropes, moving out of the way as Millson runs abdomen-first into the turnbuckles. Vandiver flips his body over so that he faces the mat, and follows suit by jumping through the ropes and delivering a shoulder-first bash into the gut, blowing the air out of the champion's lungs with a spear variant. Wasting no time, he tries to cover the headliner.
"1!"
But Millson quickly powers out of the attempt before the referee can reach even a two count. Frustrated, Vandiver quickly returns to his feet and approaches the referee, reprimanding the official for what he believes was a count far too slow to be considered fair. The arbiter shrugs and tries to explain that it's not his fault, but by the time Joshua listens to reason, Millson is already back to a vertical base. Vandiver turns back, expecting a downed foe, but is shocked to see the GHW Champion on his feet, and running towards him, no less! Vandiver is pummeled by a devestating clothesline, taking him down to the canvas with ease! Millson goes for a pin of his own, hooking both legs.
"1!" "2!"
"There's where the size difference comes into play here! Millson, being the heavier superstar can take down Vandiver with authority much more easily than the other way around. Joshua will need to rely on his agility and speed in order to take Triple M off his game here tonight!"
"That's assuming that Vandiver is on his game tonight! The stakes are high here tonight, he's up against the GHW Champion right now, and if Kahlan wins later tonight, he'll have a spot in the Tower of London match! There's a lot on his mind right now, and I'm not sure he's fully in this match right now."
Joshua grabs the second rope with his hands, pulling himself off of the mat, but as he does, Millson stays on the ball with some quick strikes to the upper back, beating him back down, however Vandiver manages to stand regardless. Mighty Man presses into the man formerly known as Dustin Delta, using the ropes to give him momentum and send him to the opposite set of ropes like he was being shot out of a canon. As Joshua comes back, the champion goes for a second clothesline, but Vandiver doubles himself over and dodges the lariat. He rebounds off the original set of ropes he bounced off of, and goes to collide with a Lou Thesz Press, but Millson locks his arms around the torso, capturing the Valhalla native and staggering back to the ropes before tossing him over to the outside, sending him crashing to the ground, much to the disdain of the audience supporting Joshua. The audience jeers the champion, who stands in the squared circle with outstretched arms to boast wordlessly.
"1!"
The referee begins the count-out as Millson attempts to leave the ring through the ropes. The arbiter stops his exit, scolding him for doing something that he is fully aware is frowned on. While the English Egotist distracts the official, the obedient Jonny Simpson blasts Joshua with a swift boot to the head, knocking Vandiver back down to the floor just as he began to rise. Millson steps away from the zebra-shirt, who turns back to count out the downed Floridian.
"2!"
Vandiver mounts a hand on the second steel step, pushing himself up with his upperbody strength. The referee counts to three, and Joshua staggers up the steps and quickly rolls through the ropes, back into the ring. Mighty Man wastes no opportunity, so he makes a mad dash towards the corner where the former King of the Deathmatch entered, and dropkicks him into the corner, where Joshua holds his abdomen in agony, revealing a sweet spot for the GHW Champion to make a primary target for the rest of the match. Quickly returning to his feet, Mighty Man kicks the gut before snapmaring Joshua over to the mat, making room in the corner for Millson to ascend. Once positioned in the high-rent district, Millson smiles into the jeering audience, reminding them of his unmatchable skill. With a leap of faith, the Whitby Boy Wonder crashes down to the neck of the man formerly known as Delta with a leg drop! Not moving, the referee slides down to his belly to count another pinfall.
"1!" "2!"
"Another near fall with Joshua done, you've got to consider if my earlier statement is accurate - is Vandiver really here? The only responsibility he has here is to weaken Millson for the match with Wolverina, and even then, we know that Wolfie is capable of handling herself with the Brit just fine! Vandiver isn't concerned with the GHW Championship. He's after the Tower of London, and I'm sure that's his goal right now."
"I'm inclined to agree with you, Al. You know that Millson really wants to send a statement to Wolverina, and decimating her best friend will definitely help her do that. Millson knows how to play his cards, and he may just have a full house right now!"
Millson rolls himself off of the upper body of his downed adversary, looking down with disgust and contempt. Triple M drops to one knee and begins to launch a series of closed fists into the temple, keeping Vandiver on the floor and consistently in pain. Once the Whitby native finally lets up, he locks his hands around the jaw of Joshua, slowly dragging him up to a groggy vertical base. Mighty Man seems to whisper something insulting towards Vandiver, but it lasts momentarily as the GHW Champion twists his body around and drops to the mat on his back with the Tower of London winner's head locked, delivering a swift cutter. Joshua's chin is driving into the shoulder, and he recoils and rolls over onto his back, looking up into the ceiling in agony as Millson begins to execute his next maneuver, running the ropes before dropping into two somersaults and launching upwards, looking to hit Rolling Thunder, however, Vandiver manages to roll out of the way and under the bottom rope, causing Millson to fall on his back, and opening a new door for Joshua to seize the opportunity within.

The Mighty Man recoils from the cold, hard canvas, grasping his spine as the impact from the evaded Rolling Thunder begins to transmit pain signals through his central nervous system. Spotting an opportunity, Vandiver hops up onto the ring apron and pushes down on the top rope, leaping over the lowered wire and throwing both feet into the sternum of the GHW champion. Millson is propelled backwards by the Springboard Dropkick and hits the canvas once again, with the Valhalla Native immediately positioning himself adjacent to his opponent, dropping his elbow onto the chest of the Whitby Wonder repeatedly, giving Millson no time to regain his breath. After 9 strikes, Vandiver pauses and raises his left arm, before dropping one more hefty elbow drop for finality. Vandiver keeps his elbow draped across Triple M's sternum and the official slaps his hand to the mat twice, before Millson powers his shoulder skywards to break the pinfall attempt in it's tracks.
A slightly lax cover from Vandiver, which is very unlike the perfectionist that we know he is. A more authoritative cover could have maybe ended this contest right there.
Millson isn't the GHW champion for nothing, Fuzz. I don't think Vandiver thought he was going to win the match, I just think he was trying to wear Millson down.
Delta clambers to his feet and plans his next move as the beleaguered champion battles to a kneeling position in the centre of the squared circle. The Deathmatch Majesty takes a few running steps towards Millson and throws his right leg over the head of the Brit, attempting a Fame Asser, but the wily Englishman ducks his head and dodges the manoeuvre, instead clasping his hands around the back of the Valhalla Native and leaning backwards, his momentum taking Vandiver backwards through the air, his flight coming to a sharp and abrupt end as he crashes into the canvas back and neck-first. A collective groan emanates from the Bostonian arena as the air is sucked from the body of Vandiver with the impact from the German Suplex.
Keeping his hands locked around the waist of the former Double D, Millson bridges his back to add leverage to his body weight, pressed on the shoulders of Vandiver. Wise to this, the man in the zebra stripes slaps his hands to the canvas twice more, the third and final slap never reaching it's target, as Vandiver throws his elbow skywards to break the pinfall cover, a frustrated Millson remonstrating with the referee after scrambling angrily to his fullest verticality.
(I'll add a little more to this in a couple of hours. A bit busy now.)
