The following is an excerpt from a Police Press Release from East Rutherford, New Jersey. This was article was taken from The East Rutherford News. = ================================================== The Police in East Rutherford would like to make a statement to confirm rumours that a Wrestling Superstar has been arrested this morning in relation to a series of ongoing homicide enquiries around the country. Jonathan Mark Newton, known to Gods and Heretics Wrestling fans as Hyperion, was this morning arrested at his home in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Suspicion of Murder in the 1st Degree. He was arrested following local police enquiries into the murder of Jenny-May Fulton on Wednesday evening. It is now understood that there are links between this case and several other major homicide cases around the country. Mr Newton had known connections to the victim and it appears all the other victims have been linked to him and his friends. The whole saga has come as a major shock to the GHW community. No one was willing to give comment when contacted by this paper this morning. End of Thread.

Another excerpt this time a day later. ================================================================= East Rutherford - Jonathan Mark Newton has been released this morning without being charged. The police are looking for other possible suspects after a DNA test revealed that Jonathan Newton, Hyperion to his fans, was found to not match that of the sample found at the victims residence. When Mr Newton was called and asked for comment he had the following to say, "I apologise to my fans for having put them through this. As for the Police well I am not going to put up with this harrassment during my time of mourning I have lost 5 friends in a month and now the police wish to try and charge me because they have no evidence." "The police have not heard the end of this I am off to speak with my lawyer" Well it seems that Hyperion is very unhappy with the current situation and is going to do something about it. I think the police should be worried he doesn't have a very nice reputation around here. The Police would not comment on their mix up when this paper called them this morning. Zantazm, the General Manager of Monday Night Combat did comment though. "The members of GHW were greatly shocked to have this atrocity happen. We are even more disgusted at a lack of belief and evidence from the police." End of Thread Part II (TBC somewhere, sometime)
