The lights in the arena change to the colors of red, white, and blue as "Remedy" by Seether blares over the PA. The crowd stand up in anticipation as the entrance tunnel is filled with sparks and Jake's silhouette appears. "Jake Sucks" chants echo from the audience as Jake casually walks out with a light tube in hand and draped with the American flag across his shoulders and back.
JP: Here comes Jake Diamond after an impressive show at Day of Destruction.
Ray: But JP it was a failing attempt and he cut up his pretty face from it too!
Jake stands still on the entrance stage for a brief moment but continues to make his way down the entrance ramp. Thick linings of bandages are wrapped around his head, arm, and torso to cover the severe cuts and gashes he received. Jake stops at the foot of the ring and stretches his arms out, spreading the American flag across his back. Jake slides into the ring and immediately demands a mic from a nearby stage hand.
JP: The Present and Future of Wrestling... has Arrived!
A surprising mixed reaction is heard from the audience as a near half amount of the audience cheers while the other half continues their boos. Jake lowers his head and laughs quietly to himself, but quickly stops and stares blankly around at the audience.
JP: So this is what it takes... So this is what it takes to make only half of you disgusting herd of cattle to praise me? I told all of you before I was the greatest alive but none of you listened. Instead you denied me time and time again for the simple reason that I refused to kiss your asses like some of those ingrates back there! I lost more blood than your mothers do every time your hillbilly fathers punch them out and yet I still don't get the respect I deserve, you people make me sick!
The reactions of the crowd quickly goes sour again but Jake Diamond continues to ramble, hardly phased by the extreme lash out by the audience.
JD: Shut the hell up I'm not finished! What are you going to do about it anyway? Get your anti-freedom of speech supporter Human Wreckingball come down here and kick my ass? Doubt it. He won't be coming down here until Trickshot drops another paycheck into his hand. Who else do you have to support you? Alex Stall? Please, he's got his hands full with management duties and has screwed me over enough and wouldn't bother showing his face here...
JP: What is Jake Diamond going on and on about, and what's the deal with the American flag?
Ray: Well JP Jake is being his patriotic self like he usually does.
JD:... America has no future as long as these degenerates stick around, but I'm here to change that. This is the land of the free and the home of the brave and I back that statement up. All of you "so-called" patriots out there don't have the balls to come out here and say what I say and do what I do. Unlike all of you this flag means something to me and I represent it every night in this ring. "The Future" had come and gone, but America's Future is just arriving.
Jake takes the flag off of his shoulders and spreads it nice and neatly in the center of the ring. "Jake Sucks" and "U.S.A" chants echo from the audience, splitting the room into mixed groups. Jake stands proudly over the flag and smiles at the resounding reaction from the crowd.
JD: Whether you like it or not, love me or hate me, you can't deny a single thing I say for I am the Past, Present, and Future of Professional Wrestling. All of you player haters want to be me and all you girls want to see me. And when your kids meet me, I greet thee with a smile, because I go the extra mile. The Future is here... and it's looking red, white, and blue...
Jake tosses down the mic and picks up the flag again and spreads it across his shoulders as "Remedy" by Seether blares throughout the arena. He heads a turnbuckle and stands on the middle rope and spreads the flag along his back with the light tube still in hand while the crowd chants either "U.S.A." or "Jake Sucks".
JP: Is this a new Jake Diamond, Ray? And if so what can we expect from "America's Future"?
