Monday Night Combat (4/16/07): The Dust clears after World Warz
SERGEANT
1. Velocity v. High Flying Sabu (Single-docs)
Winner: Velocity
Match Hype: Velocity gave a valient effort in the Hardcore Invitational at World Warz, but couldn't quite pull off the victory. She impressed alot of fans, however, and will put her talents back in action tonight against High Flying Sabu.
LIEUTENANT
1. Wildman Rambo v. Wrestling God (Table-docs)
Winner: Wrestling God
Match Hype: With World Warz in the books, Wildman Rambo and Wrestling God will make their bid to start the next month off with a bang. That bang will be one of their bodies going through a wood table.
2. Terremoto v. Stevie Rock 2 (Single-docs)
Winner: Terremoto
Match Hype: Just a day after World Warz, Terremoto is a little less heavy. That may be the last time we say that, but he did lose the Lieutenant Championship to his friend, Malcriado Beast, and he has to take that loss out on someone. Stevie Rock draws the short straw in this one, but Stevie is tougher than many think.
3. Duece v. The amazing Noe (Cage-docs)
Winner: Duece
Match Hype: Duece became the first ever Hardcore Champion at World Warz when he defeated 4 others in the Hardcore Invitational. Then reality set in and he passed the experience level of a hardcore Superstar. He now will set his sights to winning a Lieutenant Championship and his first task will be defeating Noe in a cage.
CAPTAIN
1. Skull v. I Always Lose (Single-docs)
No Contest
Match Hype: Skull needs to find a consistency and stick with it. He has the talent to become a champion. The same can be said about IAL. IAL has the size and power advantage over most Superstars, but he needs to find his niche.
2. Bigguns88 v. The Power House (LMS-docs)
Winner: The Power House
Match Hype: Bigguns came very close to earning another Title shot at World Warz, but King Bear stopped all those hopes with a huge performance on last week's Combat. Bigguns will try to rebound against PH this week. This will come as a tough chore, however, as PH is looking for revenge after Bigguns eliminated him from Damage Control a few weeks ago. An LMS is only fitting.
COLONEL
1. The Masterpiece 3 v. StrikerLT (Ladder-docs)
Winner: The Masterpiece 3
Match Hype: Dirk came awfully close to getting a Colonel Title shot at World Warz, but ended up losing to Raju in the Damage Control Final. He will face Striker this week, who could be a top title contender this month.
2. Non-Title Match
Hawkeye (c) v. Smart Rocket (Single-docs)
Winner: Hawkeye
Match Hype: Colonel Hawkeye is officially the luckiest champion in GHW history. He loses to everyone during the month, but when the gold is on the line, he is unbeatable. I guess we can give this one to Smart Rocket then.
GENERAL
1. TC Carroll v. Zantazm (Table-docs)
Winner: TC Carroll
Match Hype: Zantazm defeated BLACK WOLF and Tai O'Neil in a triple threat match last week, but he better hope he still has his luck going for him against TC tonight. TC has defeated Zantazm in the past, and will look to do the same once again.
2. The Rematch
Ermac v. Dangerous Man Dan (Cage-docs)
Winner: Ermac
Match Hype: Ermac earned his first Title match at World Warz after defeating most of the General Superstars in GHW including DMD. DMD will look to prove that he should have been in the General main event when he faces Ermac in a rematch. However, this time it will be in a cage.
TAG TEAM
1. Tag Team Tornado Match
Latin Attack v. Blood Brothers (docs)
Winner: Latin Attack
Match Hype: Latin Attack and the Blood Brothers hate each other. Heck, the Blood Brothers themselves hate each other. All of that will translate to a hectic Tornado Tag match this week when all 4 Superstars are legal in the ring all at once. The winner here could make a good argument that they are a top dog in the Bronze Division. Or, there may not be a winner after the chaos causes brothers to collide.
SERGEANT
1. Velocity v. High Flying Sabu (Single-docs)

Match Hype: Velocity gave a valient effort in the Hardcore Invitational at World Warz, but couldn't quite pull off the victory. She impressed alot of fans, however, and will put her talents back in action tonight against High Flying Sabu.
