Monday Night Combat (6/4/07): Are you making your Case?
SERGEANT
1. Agent Tran v. High Flying Sabu (Table-docs)
Winner: Agent Tran by default
Match Hype: Agent Tran's opponent tonight will be High Flying Sabu, who has been away recently. Agent Tran needs to get back into the winning ways of things if he ever wants to hold the Sergeant Championship.
LIEUTENANT
1. Malcriado Beast v. Mike Lethal (Single-docs)
Winner: Malcriado Beast
Match Hype: Duece has MB's number. In their rematch last week for the Lieutenant Championship, Duece managed to defeat MB for the second straight time in a row. MB may be dejected right now, but nothing will hold back this Beast's desire to get back on top. Mike Lethal may have his hands full tonight.
2. Chad J0hns0n v. Thug (LMS-docs)
Winner: Chad J0hns0n by default
Match Hype: Talk about being unable to hold back. CJ is unstoppable right now as he extends his unbeaten streak to 3. This week he'll get a tough challenge as he goes up against Thug in a LMS match. CJ is fast, he's strong, and apparently he can't be touched.
3. Triple Threat Non-Title Match
WildMan Rambo v. Matthew Oliveira v. Duece (docs)
Winner: WildMan Rambo
Match Hype: Duece is coming off a great Title defense last week against Malcriado Beast, but he finds himself this week in a triple threat with two other hungry competitors. Matt O. is either hit or miss lately, and WildMan is equally unpredictable. No Title is on the line, so this match is more of a confidence booster to the winner.
CAPTAIN
1. trickshot v. John Triton (Single-docs)
Winner: trickshot
Match Hype: trickshot has gone colder than the Arctic Ocean the last month. Hopefully that's as cold as it gets for him because it's June now and the weather is kicking up a notch. The bad news for trickshot, however, is that he is facing John Triton, who never puts up a bad fight.
2. Skull v. The Hyper Elf (Ladder-docs)
Winner: Skull
Match Hype: In the first of possibly two ladder matches between this pair, The Hyper Elf will try to climb the ladder to get a promise note that gives him a shot at Skull's Money in the Bank briefcase in the second ladder match on another date. Skull has a huge opportunity in his possession, but his ego made him accept a proposition to lose it when The Hyper Elf interrupted him in the ring.
COLONEL
1. Debut Match
StrikerLT v. The Overtaker (LMS-docs)
Winner: StrikerLT
Match Hype: The Overtaker has signed a contract with GHW and he is ready to show off his wrestling skills. The problem is, he will have to do a lot of damage to win this match against a GHW veteran, StrikerLT. Not often do Superstars debut with a LMS match, so this should be a special night.
2. Non-Title Match
Raju_The_Bomber v. The Masterpiece 3 (Ladder-docs)
Winner: Raju_The_Bomber
Match Hype: Raju is the Colonel Champion and he is also in the Finals of the Master of the Mat Tournament. Someone that he is lucky he did not have to face in that Tournament is Brian Commonwealth, a relative of Dirk "The Jerk" Grey and master technician.
GENERAL
1. Ermac v. TC Carroll (Table-docs)
Winner: TC Carroll
Match Hype: TC Carroll is currently in the Semi-Finals of the Master of the Mat Tournament against Tai O'Neil. He's on a roll, and Ermac looks to be the guy to stop him tonight. A table match is in store, which should be very entertaining.
2. Non-Title Match
Zantazm v. Dangerous Man Dan (Ladder-docs)
Winner: Zantazm
Match Hype: Zantazm and Dangerous Man Dan are going to meet again. In their first bout, Zantazm defeated DMD in DMD's signature cage match. Then, the two clashed as the last two finalists in the Fatal Fourway General Championship match at NeXuS. Zantazm is 2 up on DMD, but will tonight's ladder match get DMD back in the game?
TAG TEAM
1. Bronze Battle Royal for #1 Contendership (Tornado Rules)
Natural Disasters v. The Hyper Duece v. Blood Brothers v. Wild Wreckers (docs)
Winner: Natural Disasters
Match Hype: The Bronze division has lost a couple teams due to promotion, but that doesn't mean the fun stops there. These four hungry teams will fight in a tornado tag rumble match to decide who will face Punk and Hyperion at Tried and Convicted for the Bronze Titles. Only one man will be left standing in this match, so hopefully team mates don't collide.
SERGEANT
1. Agent Tran v. High Flying Sabu (Table-docs)
